She'd never taken her uncle that seriously. A nineteen-year old design student, Kim Wu is a child of the new age -- born Chinese and Korean in San Francisco's Chinatown, Kim had become accustomed to living life in the fast lane. Between studying at the Art Institute by day and teaching a class in Shaolin kung fu at her family's martial arts school at night, there was never a whole lot of time left for anything else in her life. That is, right up until the weird antique her uncle left her turned out to have a guardian spirit sealed in it. Strong, brave, if a little headstrong, her guardian dragon chose her to be the next great hero of her family line. Now, she's been being plagued by visions of the future. People, enemies that mean to do the world harm. Allies, that might help her in her quest. Much to her chagrin, it's been more of the former than the latter. But no matter what, she's always going to be up to the challenge.
