Eyedol

"I serve NO ONE!!"

Once a sentinel of the realms, Eyedol was charged by the gods to watch over and protect the realms of men from those who would seek to invade it. The only creature living at the time capable of challenging the great warlord Gargos, the lowly human defeated Gargos when he first attempted to take over the Earth and threw him back into the Astral Plane, allowing him to be sealed away. However, his great power allowed him to absorb a fraction of the strength of Gargos, and changed him for the worse. A rampaging ogre lusting for power and battle, he was defeated by another guardian, and banished to the Astral Plane. His fate culminated in a final brutal war with Gargos that left his skull split in two. Dead for centuries, those who thought to revive him made a grievous mistake, Brutal, unhinged and unpredictable, Eyedol retains most of the power he once possessed as king of a vast empire, but the injury that felled the immortal king remains splinted only by the finest of mystic tethers. It makes him split, fractured, and vengeful, lusting for a battle that he knows he can win, even if he doesn't fully know which of two minds he'll take at any given time.
