Match of the Millennium

Eddy Gordo is heir to one of the wealthiest estates in all of Brazil. He always knew that he would take over the family business. He was always liked as a hard worker and honest man that treated everyone as an equal despite his status. Life was going well until one day, at the age of nineteen, Eddy came hime to find his father shot and dying. The man had been trying to take down a large drug cartel and had just gathered enough evidence to put them away for good. However, rather than bid his son leap into his work, Eddy's father told him to wait, that now was not the time to fight. For his own safety, Eddy falsely admitting his part in the man's murder, thinking that he'd be safer in prison than out of it. While incarcerated, he saw a old man in a prison riot hold his own with capoeira. Inspired by his ability despite his age, he befriended Ho Chi Myong, who in turn trained him in his combat style. In return, Eddy promised that he would pass these same techniques to Ho Chi's daughter Christie Monteiro once released. Now a free man, Eddy has held his part of the bargian and now seeks the men responsible for his father's death.
