Description: A deathmatch wrestler, and a beefcake of a ninja must combine their unconventional forces against a giant talking magical psychic dinosaur god trying to conquer the world! ...Remember when dictators with huge chins were a big deal? (Winners: MURDERHOUSE and Noboru)
"Vermin, offer yourssselvesss in sssacrifice to me!"
Vertigo towers over the screaming masses as they flee in all directions, her scaled hide rippling as the prehistoric monster laughs an unquestionably human-sounding laugh. She is framed by the four pillars of light which heralded the appearance of the portal and which blaze forth still, each transforming the land around it, but after a few more moments the geysers of power narrow, sputter, and cease. The four blasted craters in the earth which remain where they emerged each retain in turn its peculiar individual effect: dwindling flames; a sheen of ice; strange contorted patterns in the earth; wisps of phantoms and the sound of unintelligible whispers.
But though the pillars fade, the portal remains.
"Keeee ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
And so too does Vertigo.
"Foolsss! You cannot flee." The earth groans in protest as she raises one taloned foot, and with her step the ground quakes, the red-painted pillars of Ise Shrine's many torii gates splintering in proximity, in mockery of the gods of this place. "Kneel before my awesome power. I am your hell, and your sssalvation!" Her reptilian gaze lowers, scanning the panicked throng.
Tents are being trampled and torn as the evacuees scatter blindly, the Gaia Tournament employees joining the desperate escape. One woman stands petrified, her video camera rolling and trained on this impossible sight. By Vertigo's man-sized foot, a father helps his wife to her feet as their daughter cries. Terror strikes him, ancient instincts whispering of a deadly predator, and he slowly turns his head as the girl wails.
Vertigo's eyes glow a putrid green.
That color is reflected in the father's eyes. His face slackens, his arms relaxing, and he stands still. Slowly a look of something like bliss warps his features as Vertigo's maw opens wide, the mother wrestling their daughter away as the girl helplessly reaches out a hand and cries.
"Daddy, no!"
The dinosaur's enormous jaws descend--

Luckily, they'd grabbed his bag when they grabbed him. He was unconscious after delivering that brutal, unwitting psychic assault against the Beastman the world called 'Blanka', and the evacuation workers had to drag him like dead weight, like a slaughtered bull being taken through Spain. In fact, he'd just arrived(and they were dangerously close to touching his mask), when that portal opened and a thing ripped through into our world, a thing that Should Not Be. Really, they'd saved the workers whose hands were far, far too close to his face.
It was the sound that snapped his eyes open, still milk-white and pseudo-glowing when all the noise and commotion hit. Instantly he sat up in his medical bed, eyes reverting and he felt the mask still covering his face. Good. He looked down, his ribs were taped up, and his gloves were gone, but other than that he was untouched. Also good. And outside, the sounds of hissing and a ghastly voice echoed throughout the land, almost deafening in its terror.
"Ahhh, shit."
Instantly, Mick ran towards the fire, ran towards the danger, gym bag sloppily grabbed like a lumpy suitcase on the way...
-------------
And when he saw what he was dealing with, he didn't hesitate for a second. He just dropped the bag, grabbed a special toy from it, and revved that big red auger drill while charging, and leaping, aiming it right for the open mouth of this mountainous, hideous creature!
"Am I the only sane motherfucker here?!"

MURDERHOUSE 0/-------/-------|
The helpless father stands paralyzed, eyes glowing green as he stares rapturously up at the tooth-filled maw descending toward him. This could be the end for him. he could die right now, leaving his daughter scarred for life.
A big, black-gloved hand closes on the nape of the man's neck. With childish ease he is lifted into the air, then flung ass over kettle through the air toward his fleeing family. It wont' be a soft landing, but at least he isn't being eaten whole.
The man that now stands beneath Vertigo's open mouth is tall and bulky, though not nearly so tall as MURDERHOUSE. He wears a voluminous midnight-blue robe with the hood up, and beneath that flashes of another black robe can be seen. Black leather gloves and split-toed boots cover his hands and feet. But, most importantly of all, is the long Najinata held casually in his left hand. The metal-reinforced shaft is roughly 6 feet long, with the gleaming silver blade extending another 3 feet past that.
The robed figure's hood lifts as he tilts his head back to get a look at the monster looming over him, face hidden in shadow.
"Hrrrrr." Noboru rumbles in a deep, contemplative bass. Lifting the butt of his spear from the ground he takes it in both hands and falls into a ready stance, calm as a mountain pond. That metaphoric mount pond doesn't even ripple when MURDERHOUSE goes flying past with his doom drill primed and ready to stab some dino face.

"Keeee ha ha ha ha hyaahh--!?"
The sellosaurus's eyes flare as one of the vermin bursts from the crowd, leaping toward her wielding a great red drill, shouting something or other. The moment that she is distracted, her prey is snatched away by another pest holding some manner of pointy stick. Vertigo's nostrils flare in frustration, her eyes narrowing, and widens her maw to instead snap at the self-sacrificing fool who has hurled himself at her in her victim's place.
It is the pain of a drill against her fangs that elicits her shriek.
The beast rears back, Mick straddling the dinosaur's massive jaws as his drill jabs painfully at the goddess's gums, a truly unprecedented attack. The refugees continue to flee, not stopping to observe this act of heroism, but one Gaia Tournament camera continues to roll, capturing it all.
"Insssolent fool! Keeeee ha ha ha ha!" Vertigo's booming voice is twisted in rage and mad amusement, her great tail thrashing, incidentally toppling an ancient tree. Her breath blows against Mick like a hurricane. "This is why humansss are my most sssuitable worssshippersss. They are ssso delightfully---
A gurgling can be heard from deep in her throat.
"Unpredictable!!"
And then, with explosively speed and force, poison spit jets out between her jaws, threatening to hurl the drill-wielding berserker away coated in a vicious acid.

MURDERHOUSE says, "Oof."
It really stunk in here, and as he heard that booming voice pounding from between his ears, Mick had one curious thought:
How did it manage to speak while it was being auger'd the hell out of?
Moments later the bare-chested, previously injured Deathmatch wrestler instinctively pulled the drill back and held it in front of his chest and neck as he saw those venom sacs expand like a time-elapsed tumor or whitehead. His legs instinctively came up, knees and thighs flexing together to cover and protect his balls, eyes wide in disbelief.
The drill was instantly wrecked, burned through, and Mick was sent flying through a little tent at the speed of a car wreck, rolling and landing on his side. Everything burned, everything burned way too bad, but he forced himself to stand and function.
"You gross piece of garbage. I'm gonna kill you you son of a bitch."
Did Mick know this thing was a "girl"? Probably not. Did he care? Hell no. The third goddamn monster he'd met, and he wasn't gonna go down to this one. He didn't care how big it was, how creepy it was, or how Freudian the inside of its mouth looked. As he grabbed a tent pole, ripping it out of the earth, snapping the edge of it right off with his powerful strength, he hurled it straight at one of its eyes, or its mouth again, or even just the general head area, he didn't give a damn. He just wanted to put this sucker down while he still could!
"Hrrrrrm." Noboru rumbles again as MURDERHOUSE impacts the giant monster's face. He remains still as stone, waiting, waiting, while the monster rears back and lifts it's attention up, away from the ground.
You should never look away from a ninja.
The robed shinobi's shift from standing to sprinting is rather jarring. One moment he is a statue, and the next he is moving at top speed, head bowed and najinata tucked beneath his body. His loose robes billow out behind him as he passes under Vertigo's dangling hands.
Lunging forward, Noboru lands on his right foot, body coiled like a spring, then launches himself straight up toward the large scaly abdomen above him.His spear is brought up in a vicious overhead stab as he rises, breath hissing out from between his clenched teeth. If all goes to plan he will bury all 3 feet of his blade in Vertigo's stomach, right up to the cross guard. He will, however, be temporarily stranded under the enormous lizard's body. Just a split second, in which he hangs in mid air, weapon still raised above his head.

"Keee ha ha ha ha! Ssssquirm!"
Vertigo cackles as Mick is flung away coated in vile slime, her jaws clacking together in delight, throat undulating with glee. It is impossible to understand how this creature is able to speak, but then, its very existence should be impossible. The dinosaur swivels its head toward the pulsing portal from which it emerged, regarding the vortex with beady intelligent eyes.
"Fassscinating," she coos. "From whence I came, there were no mortalsss with ssstrength and courage sssuch as yours. I ssshall ssspare you dessspite your insssolence, and make you my ssslave. When you willingly sssacrifice your life to me, the Goddess of Insssanity, I will absssorb your very sssoul--"
Her reptilian eyes snap wide with astonishment.
"Keeeeeeyaaaaahhh!!"
She rears and shakes her scaled bulk wildly, enormous tail this time leveling a shrine gate, as Noboru's polearm spears through her vulnerable underbelly, tearing at her flesh and viscera, green blood spewing forth and hissing venomously where it lands. Though a creature of nightmares, her body is as real as their own.
"But you, you sssniveling ape--"
Up until the moment she vanishes.
"You I ssshall devour!!"
The towering lizard flickers and vanishes. That such a giant creature could disappear in an instant is somehow more improbable than that she could exist in the first place. Her booming voice seems to come from everywhere, yet it is behind the still airborne Noboru that she appears, phasing back with eyes aglow an eerie green. She too appears in midair, her bulk hurtling to collide against him as she descends with an earth-shaking crash, aiming to stun him with the surprise bodyslam. Even if she misses though, she is already lashing out with a terrible predatory swiftness, driven by vengeful fury as her maw opens wide and snaps out to tear at Noboru's flesh.

Mick couldn't tell if his attack had hit or not, but he didn't stick around to find out. That acid was slowly eating at him, his skin turning red, and that hockey mask smoking as it resisted(somehow) the deadly stuff that still coated him. The pain was excruciating, moving, air touching his flesh, the roaring blood pumping through his veins, but something in him kept him pushing past it, it kept him fighting, it kept him driven towards destroying this thing, as heartily as he could. Thinking quickly, he staggered from that tent and grabbed at his bag, finding a cluster of...presents, shaped like pineapples. Momentos that he stole from a certain gang in Metro City, that he'd hoped to use on Haggar, possibly in front of his daughter. But that goal seemed like an impossibility now, and besides, he needed to to stop this thing. He was no lover of the world, but his natural instinct told him that letting this freak walk around would be bad for him and him specifically. He'd wait until it was finished with the ninja(where in the hell did this asshole come from, anyway?), and whether it hit or missed, he'd pull the pin on one of the babies before throwing them in a bunch, aiming again at the mouth or head or neck of the beast. He figured that would be the quickest way to shut it down.

Spear lodged in Vertigo's stomach, Noboru twists his body to the side to avoid the toxic waste spewing from her wound. Then, the giant lizard is rearing and shaking, jerking herself free of the weapon and allowing the big ninja to start free-falling back toward the ground.
Sort of.
Noboru's bad eye catches the surge of magic before the giant dinosaur vanishes, and traces the flow out of his line of sight. Behind him.
Ninja tricks are much less amusing when giant dinosaurs do them.
The robed shinobi is half-way through a mid-air twist when Vertigo's bulk appears out of nowhere and comes crashing down from above. Kicking out hard with his right foot, the ninja manages to propel himself out from under her scaly chest, tossing his spear away as he tumbles roughly across the trembling ground. But, before he can pop back up to his feet in typical ninja fashion, Vertigo's head snaps out, maw wide open and ready to take a bite out of him.
"HRAGH!" Noboru bellows as dagger-like teeth sink deep into his left thigh and hip, her front teeth just managing to catch him before he can throw himself free. But, where a normal man might flail uselessly in panic, the big shinobi twists his upper body around to glare into the giant lizard's face with cold, focused intensity.
Mismatched eyes unblinking, Noboru rears back as he is hauled into the air and curls his right hand into a tight, iron-hard fist. Then, working his entire body like a man swinging a heavy sledge hammer, he throws himself forward and brings his right fist crashing down with rock-smashing force right between the monster's beady little eyes.

Vertigo's gigantic head snaps back.
Let's see this from the lone camera's perspective: A ninja, flying through the air, punches a teleporting dinosaur in the face as it bites his leg.
This tournament may have a winner.
The impact of Noboru's fist is powerful, tearing the lizard's fangs from his flesh with a splash of his blood and setting him free to fall earthward. Vertigo takes a step back, and even her reptilian face is able to express her evident bewilderment.
"You-- youuuu--"
Detecting movement to her side, Vertigo turns defensively, her tail tearing through an innocent tent in the process, to take the grenade blasts on her thick side scales, leaving them blackened but otherwise undamaged. Though the two humans have been able thus far to strike at her weak points, the majority of her body is clearly very tough. She turns with a kind of jerky motion, as though frustrated, toward from whence Mick tosses his bombs.
"You be sssilent!" she sibilantly snaps. "I ssshall leave your body intact to ssserve me until I fatten you up for a feassst. Thisss one I kill now! Be a good boy and wait until then!" Her eyes again glow an eerie green.
Instantly the earth beneath Mick's feet begins to steam and burble. If he does not move quickly, a strange miasma will be released beneath him that causes a man's senses to spin and mind to be muddled.

Mick instantly forgets what it was he was going to do, even as his ribs feel like they're suddenly warping inwards and he falls to his knees. Clutching his stomach, choking out a pained cry even as his freakish eyes(just beady black pupils, no irises) feel like they're bugging out of his head. Spittle sprays out of those mouth-holes, a line of drool starting to turn red as it hands down, trickles of blood 'raining' out lightly moments after. He wheezes and soon succumbs, falling down to-
NO. KEEP FIGHTING KEEP FIGHTING.
Those eyes roll back in his head and his right hand instantly punches against the ground, rushing up to his feet and walking towards the serpent with jerky movements like a man possessed. Instantly he forgets his own injuries, and with a running charge, LEAPS up at her mouth, boots aimed for her bottom 'lip, fingers trying to dig into the top part painfully. And if this worked, he'd glare into her eyes and speak with that commanding voice even as his body worked to pry that grip on the ninja open...
"LOOK! AT! ME!"
Noboru's hammer blow jar's the dinosaur's head back and causes her mouth to drop open, allowing the ninja to fall free in a spray of dark red blood. His now tattered blue robe flares out behind him as he twists in mid air, impacting the stony ground with his right foot and fist. Blood continues to run freely out of the holes in his left side, turning an ever spreading patch of his midnight blue robe black. Amazingly, though, his hood has remained up this entire time.
Shoulders heaving in a heavy breath, Noboru forces himself to surge back upright, bad leg dragging a bit, and drifts his attention up to Vertigo's head hanging above him. He is just in time to see MMURDERHOUSE fly through the air at it, attempting to lock in his clinging face grab.
Well, if he wants to go for it.
Taking two limping steps back, the big Shinobi reaches beneath his robe. A moment later he withdraws a spherical cloth sack, roughly the size of his fist, and colored uneven shades of grey. His right thumb pulls a loop of string on the top of the bag and a streamer of smoke starts to rise from the top.
It's a BOMB!
If normal grenades won't work, maybe home-made explosives will. Especially if they're put in just the right spot.
Noboru takes another step back, judges the distance, then lobs the bomb up into a smooth grenadier's arc, attempting to swish it right between Vertigo's teeth and into her mouth.

Vertigo sneers as Mick succumbs to her curse and collapses, turning to attention to the hooded man whose leg she savaged. "You think you can ssstay my wrath, manchild?" she hisses, the lizard's thunderous steps leading her inexorably closer to the wounded Noboru. "I have consssumed countlesssss mortalsss, and I ssshall consssume infinitely more. I grant that the apesss of this plane are mightier than mossst, but it mattersss not. Sssee how your pitiful ally crumplesss under my ssspell--"
Her soliloquoy cuts off abruptly as she jerks her head to the side just in time for Mick to collide with her face. Vertigo jerks and twists, beginning to shake her head wildly in an effort to throw him off. "Sssubmit already!" she shouts indignantly. "Who is the deity of insssanity here, you or me!?"
She shrieks in outrage as Mick pries her jaws open for long enough that Noboru can hurl his specialty ninja greande right into her gullet. At last she is able to snap her jaws shut and fling the enraged grappler away, but it is too late to avoid an attack already inside her. She turns her head to glare balefully down at Noboru.
A muffled explosion can be hurled. The beast's belly pulses once, abruptly expanding and contracting with the gut-rending impact.
Vertigo stares unflinching.
"Deliciousss," she says sardonically, even as green blood oozes down between her fangs and drips to the ground in great globs. "For that, ape, you ssshall sssuffer my greatessst curssse."
The dinosaur's eyes glow a blinding green, a vibrant color to mesmerize any who look upon it. The earth around Noboru in a wide circle begins to smoke and contort with the workings of her strange sorceries. The shinobi will have only a moment to prepare before the attack begins, smoke bursting all around him to obscure him from view. He would feel his very flesh rending, as though his skin were being torn away, a horrific pain beyond imagining. Should he gird himself well against the agony, he may emerge intact. But should he succumb and the curse take full effect, when the smoke passes--
"Keeeeee ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
What remains is not Noboru, but a single confused dairy cow.
Mick's power passed, and though he wasn't aware he possessed it, he still knew something was wrong. This thing wasn't effected like everyone before it. Ken Masters, Howard Rust, Mr. "Johnny" Jones, a savage beast and a centuries old vampire warlord. All had felt the full force, but this thing...it felt like he was a distraction and nothing more.
Mick snapped out of it for a few moments as he leapt and flew backwards, but those eyes were rolled up again as he himself rolled to his feet, swaying. He was in a different place right now, mentally, and he'd never been left there as long as he was now. Normally a moody, antisocial, ultraviolent borderline sociopath, he seemed to be a shell of even THIS former self. Instead, whatever left was...it was something else.
He stormed right between her legs, past her oozing underbelly, and clutched at her ankle or shin, her right one. With an inhuman cry, hugging it tight to his chest, he lifted with all his might and tried to fall backwards, trying to slam this creature right on its side.

The hooded shinobi stands his ground as the dino glares down at him, globs of green blood splashing to earth all around him. Then, things get weird...Well, more weird.
The area around Noboru shimmers and smokes. Reality warps, making the edges of objects appear to spiral around into infinity. And amidst all this chaos, the ninja grunts, hunches, then falls to one knee. Before the eyes of Vertigo and everyone else who has stopped to watch, he begins to change. His robe melts into his body and he grows, easily quadrupling in size, then growing larger still. Huge white horns sprout from the sides of his head and swoop backward in wide arcs, while shaggy blond fur erupts out of his skin. In a matter of moments the transformation has finished.
It isn't a milk cow that is standing before the reptilian chaos deity, but a huge, hump-backed bull with a shaggy golden coat. A bull covered in battle scars, with a nasty gash running down the left side of it's face, and mismatched blue and white eyes. In fact, it looks a lot like Noboru. It's crazy, like, if a concept artist decided to draw him as a bull, he would look exactly like this.
Imagine that.
The massive bull snorts loudly and gives his horned head a shake, then throws his head back and bellows loudly.
Looking angry in ways only a bull can, the animal lower's it's head and charges the giant lizard in a blind fury. She has just traded in a crazy punchy ninja for a crazy charging bull 8 times his size. What's made it so angry? The most likely cause are the giant bleeding holes in it's left flank. Vertigo panics.
There's no other word for it. The dinosaur deity's vicious eyes widen in shock and dismay, her fanged maw slackening, as neither of her curses go as planned. Mick, who is supposed to be hypnotised into submission, has instead gone completely berserk and begun rushing heedlessly toward her, his full bulk possibly able to topple her should he reach her. And her hooded nemesis has transformed not into a harmless cow but into a mighty giant bull, which is now rushing forward and aiming to gore her.
"What madnessss isss thisss!?" shrieks the Queen of the Mad.
Are the rules of this reality different from that of her own? Does her magic not work as it should? The vicious predator is struck with an uncertainty unbefitting of her magnificent stature. But her bestial instincts return her to her senses as she is approached in what becomes a pincer attack. Her great form tenses--
"Keeeee ha ha ha ha ha!"
--and vanishes.
Vertigo teleports behind the charging bull, repositioning herself to avoid both furious onslaughts, her wild cackling driving away her fears. Who is she to quake before these apes? "A pity," she hisses. "It ssseemsss neither of you are fit to ssserve me." If her sorcery doesn't work right on them, there's no point. "Then tonight I ssshall feast on both your flesssh!"
She springs forward, blood-stained fangs flashing, and aims to collide bodily with the giant bull Noboru has become, electing to attack the tastier-looking one this time. Like a battle out of some grandoise mythology, the two oversized animals clash, Vertigo slashing and biting and kicking and seeking to hurl Nobullru to the ground to tear at his underside.
Still lumbering, still shuffling, Mick overextends his grasp and finds himself clutching nothing but air, but an instant later he lurches back to a standing position, and his neck twists almost scarily, looking over his shoulder and glaring at his prey with white, unblinking eyes. Mouth a little slack underneath that hockey mask, arms swaying in the breeze. He watched her charge towards the Other, and Mick(was it still Mick?), he 'snapped' his neck back to a normal forward position, turning his whole body around and quickly scampering up a tall, tall, tall tree. In record time he was up on a tall branch, back turned towards the ensuing carnage, but he merely stood, let his body go slack and relaxed, and cried out.
"MURRRRDERRRSAUUUUUUUUUUUULT!"
Never before used, the seven foot Irish monster did what could only be called a backflip, right off that tall branch, and LAUNCHING himself with his legs, aiming his own midsection towards the monster's back. The shaggy bovine warrior charges through the spot Vertigo used to occupy, not seeming to notice that she's no longer there. Being turned into a pain-crazed animal can make it very difficult to keep a level head and really plan things out.
With a violent 'CRASH!' Noboru charges head-first through a still-standing pillar, sending fragments of not ancient but kinda ancient architecture flying in all directions. This does bring him to a halt, however, tossing his head and slowly back stepping to free himself from the debris.
Then, the giant shouting lizard is descending on him from behind. There might not be much of the tactical shinobi left in the angry animal, but, there is just enough man left in the bull to acquire target lock for his pain-filled rage. The shaggy bull whips around, almost front-flipping over itself rodeo style, and launches itself back toward the approaching dino, head lowered and horns leading the way.
The impact causes the ground to tremble, Noboru's hoofs digging deep furrows through the stony earth. His horns have caught the unfortunate reptile right in her front feet, pinning them between her bulk and his head as she bares down on him. Powerful muscles flex, steamy breath billows from the bull's nostrils, and he lets out another bellow before surging forward.
The bull has no idea where MURDERHOUSE is, who he is, or what he's about to do. So it is that the animal twists it's head from side to side and shoves with all it's might, trying to tip the dino over onto her side, then bull rush her across the ground with brute strength. The maneuver, if successful, will use the dinosaur's body like a plough, tearing up tents and equipment that get in the way. It just so happens that the charge will also push Vertigo right back toward the portal she stepped out of.

Vertigo shrieks in fury.
Nothing in this plane is going as planned. The bull has the cunning of a man, and it traps her clawed foot with its horns, its strength and her imbalance causing her to slide backward toward the yawning vortex behind her.
"No! Nooooooo!"
That foolish human who at first seemed such a promising servant is now hurtling down on her from above, having clearly taken leave of his senses entirely now. Vertigo assumes she can ignore his nonsense, but braces herself just in case, given that she is attempting to fend off Noboru anyway. This turns out to be wise. Mick's -- or whoever he has become -- impact sends a shuddering shockwave through her, causing her reptilian legs to buckle.
"Gaaahhhh!"
Although she was prepared for the impact, it nevertheless causes her to lurch forward, and with all balance lost, the bull's forward charge sends her hurtling back toward the portal with the wrestler still clinging to her back. Flailing wildly, the dinosaur digs her tail into the earth, digging an enormous furrow through the shrine grounds, half of her body tilting into the portals's pulsing blue expanse, but still clinging to this plane of reality.
"Unforgivable!!"
Howling in rage, Vertigo takes out her vengeance on the closest possible target, the man still atop her back. Fangs flashing, she twists her long neck and savagely snaps at him, desperately attempting to gouge at his flesh and hurl him away.

That...that hurt more than you'd think. And if you were any kind of rational person, you'd think it hurts a great deal. Mick was sprawled out face down, eyes rolling around in a daze as he struggled to his knees, and even now tried to struggle to his feet. He didn't know where he was, he barely remembered fighting some kind of monster, but was completely unaware of precisely what had happened during those moments. He was on one knee when he looked up, red and green blood and drool covering the outside of that mask of his, dried acid making 'scars' in the material. His eyes finally focused, right on the blur of the massive thing darting straight at him, coming at him as large as an entire room, and darting so fast that all he could do was throw himself back down on his stomach. Instantly, in the haze of battle and near-death, he remembered where he was, what he was doing, and his eyes narrowed.
"It's time to calm the fuck down."
Instantly he darted up, grabbing at the underside of the beast's throat...and jumping UP even while he twisted around and around and around as fast as he could go. Aided by inertia, every few feet up in the air he kept going 'around' her by placing a foot on her throat and spinning around tighter. He knew she was a snake-like thing, so it wouldn't do just to 'snap' her neck, he had to keep going and going and going until her entire throat, suddenly stretched out with him as far up as he could go, resembled a hopelessly twisted garden hose. Hopefully there'd be no give to it, no shock absorption, hopefully all the bones and muscles would be as stiff and tense as they could be. He felt himself start to fall downward, and he whispered and hoped she could hear him just before the plummet...
"We're gonna eat good tonight. I'm gonna cook the hell out of you!"
This wasn't strictly a "wrestling" move, but he'd seen ninjas and other such sorts practice this move before, including some freak with a laser sword. What did they call it? An...'Izuna Drop'? Well, a modified version, anyway. He was falling head-first to the earth, but he was aiming her skull "above" him to shield his fall, and he hoped that the sudden impact might break or fracture or damage any of those delicate vertebrae or ribs, if her neck even had 'ribs'. Or maybe her skin would burst and rupture, or maybe he'd just piss her the hell off.
He hoped that wasn't the case, he didn't know what the hell else he could do to this thing!
While crazy gymnastic drama goes on overhead, Noboru keeps his horned head down, shoving, and shoving with all his might against the bracing strength of Vertigo's tail. The big bull has no idea what is going on, but, he is filled with an overwhelming urge to push! AS if something inside his head were urging him on.
Just a little further, keep going.
The shaggy bull snorts and lets out a bovine groan of effort, muscles trembling as he tries to brute force the dino back into it's own world.

Vertigo doesn't know what's hit her.
The world is a blur. She is hurtling through space. She cannot breathe.
Then there are only stars.
The earth quakes in agonized protest as eighteen feet of dinosaur plow head-first into it, delivered courtesy of Mick's improvised Izuna Drop. The self-proclaimed goddess lies in a twisted heap, serpentine eyes bulging, scaly hide twitching feebly. She rasps and hisses, but tangled as she is, ribs crushed against the dirt, poisonous blood drippling from her slackened maw.
Then the bull starts to push her toward the vortex.
"Naaaahhh!"
Vertigo thrashes madly, her barely coherent thoughts projected out as a savage scream. She cannot find the strength to right herself or snap at the bull. But she cannot simply allow herself to be deprived of this world of juicy prey. She will not be defeated by these bizarre spell-foiling humans. She has been in this world for mere minutes! She cannot be made to leave!
"You--!"
Eyes flaring, she is finally able to twist her head enough to point her jaws toward Noboru's bull form. She is already sliding into the blue expanse, but she has one more trick up her proverbial sleeve. Her body may be failing her, but her venom sacs will not. With a hiss, she prepares to unleash a blast of acidic bile right in the bull's eyes.
"Gggghkkkkk!"
There is a gushing sound, but nothing emerges.
Within moments, however, the scales around Vertigo's neck, still twisted up like a rubber band from Mick's outrageous assault, begin to melt and steam. The venom released, but was blocked off by her own gullet, where it now eats at her from within. It is as she wails at this final injustice--
"CURSSSSSE YOUUUU, HUMANSSSSSS!!"
--that Vertigo vanishes into the portal, never to return.
Silence falls over the devastated shrine, absent of evacuees and also free of victims, almost entirely empty save for trampled tents and a single still-running video camera.
Yet the portal before them remains, pulsing forbiddingly.
Vertigo
You see nothing special."
the shaggy bull lets out a final snort of defiance once the struggling dino drops away through the portal, shying back suddenly to avoid getting too close to the shimmering wall of magic.
A heavy breath escapes the bull and it hunches forward, feet spread wide. Abruptly it's fur shimmers, ripples, and vanishes. As if it were all a collapsing illusion, the bull falls apart to reveal Noboru resting on all fours, panting, the hood of his robe pulled up to hide his face. Blood still trickles steadily from the holes in his left side and thigh, but the big ninja pays the pain no mind.
The shinobi glances first left, then right, motions slow and stiff. After a moment he spots what he is looking for and slowly draws up his right knee, braces a hand against it, and levers himself upright. left foot dragging, the big ninja limps his way across the torn ground to where his silver-bladed najinata lies. Loud cracks and pops sound from his back as he stoops down to retrieve the weapon. Lifting it from the ground, he pauses, head bent, and takes a moment to glance over the shaft. Knocking it against his knuckles produces a faintly hollow 'bonk' which seems to satisfy the shinobi. Straightening fully he plants the butt of the weapon in the mud and takes a moment to survey the battlefield.
it isn't much of a refugee camp anymore.
The big man didn't quite hit the -full- drop. Since he didn't know how others survived the full drop, he opted to bail out and roll away before hitting the full 'drop'. This had the drawback of not quite crushing the serpent's skull into many bits, but had the benefit of preventing Mick's own neck or skull from facing absolute ruin. All in all, Mick was happy with this trade-off.
So he rolled well out the way of the ensuing rampage and struggle between the two beasts. He lay flat on his back, sucking in air through that big heavy protective mask even while sweat poured from his body, and bruising started appearing on that body of his. Light at first, but it would surely get worse tomorrow, what with the way he'd been pushing himself recently. And unknownst to him, that little 'Episode' in the middle of that fight just made things harder for his body to naturally repair and heal itself.
When the bull became a man once more, and the man retrieved his weapon and gathered himself, a few feet away Mick suddenly, and without warning, sat right back up. Well, he tried to. He sat up a bit more slowly, a testament to that battle he was just in. He fought his way to his feet, and the man who made a point to ignore damage and walk into pain was clutching his ribs and midsection with his left arm and hand weakly. He staggered up to the OTHER masked man, and even hunched over a bit, Mick stared down at the man, those wide, unblinking intense eyes almost burning a hole through the ninja. After a moment that right hand came up slowly, and...unbuckled the bottom strap of that hockey mask, letting the leather straps hang down. This made the mask a bit looser, but also let him breathe a bit more. This task done, he opened that hand, and...
And, it extended forward, looking for a handshake. And the man called "MURDERHOUSE" Mick, spoke in that whisper-soft voice of his, straining through the pain he suffered to do so.
"Name's Mick. I owe you one."
Noboru's right hand lifts to grab the front of his hood and throw it back. His sweaty mop of shaggy golden-brown hair hangs limp about his ears, mismatched icy-blue and white eyes staring back up into MURDERHOUSE's with a mild sort of interest. His najinata has been demoted from weapon to crutch, the bulky shinobi keeping it tucked up tight against his left side to take weight off of his bad leg.
"I am Noboru Miyama." replies the man in a deep, grinding bass, all the while reaching down to slap his black-gloved palm tiredly into Mic's. Then, as his thick fingers tighten and he finishes the shake properly, the ninja adds with absolute deadpan bluntness, "It was not my intention to let a talking dinosaur rule the world." The sound of blood dripping to the ground follows those words. As if the universe were taking a moment to wonder if they were really just spoken allowed.
