SNF 2012.06 - SNF: "Animal Kingdom"

Description: The San Diego Zoo just loves having different events to commemerate the birth of a new animal. One year, they had a full on three-day dance party to celebrate the birth of Peter the Koala. They just love going all out. This time however, it seems they've requested two of the NDP's more likable and cuddly stars for a duel to celebrate the birth of one of the rare Red Pandas! The zookeepers have promised unrestricted access to some of the more secrative areas of the zoo just to help get Munin and Raoghanailt in the mood to celebrate the welcoming of this wonderful animal into the world! (Winner: Munin)

The zoo....

Of all the least interesting places, Munin thinks to herself. She has never been a fan of animals, and despite the birth of a rare panda, which she can rationally say is a good thing, it means little to her. If a species has that much trouble, it simply dies out.

Such is just how it is.

She calmly walks through the entrance, eyeing the few people who have shown up for the event so far. How this is going to go down, she has no idea. She doesn't show it, but she IS interested in another match with Raoghnailt. Ideas for how to better deal with her are in mind, and Munin curious to see how her planning will work!

Truly, they were blessed.

Behind the scenes of the main celebration for Peter the Koala Panda, the only successful crossbreed between a Koala and a Panda Bear, the three day celebration would give a secret behind-the-scenes with the infamous shadow warior Munin... and Raoghnailt. It was clear that as Munin enters the large, varied, caged, and sectioned off 'behind the scenes' of the zoo, that she was in the mountain forest part of the zoo.

But where was Raoghnailt?

A large gorilla in a nearby tree cradles the Scottish lass blankly. Raogh, meanwhile, clutches a bottle of Captain Morgan Rum in own hand, and runs the other across the arm of the neutral-faced beast. Looking lustfully up at the Gorilla, she sing-songs. "Oh Clyde~" She begins, shaking her head. "It was so amazing to meet you. But... it cannot be. You are are so strong, so silent. But a deaf-mute can work out with a blind girl like myself." Raoghnailt throws back the handle of the rum, taking another drin- guzzle. Swallowing down the poison, she suddenly leans in, to give the gorilla a kiss. Without changing his reaction, the gorilla releases her, letting her fall out of the tree. Raoghnailt screams, landing in a pile of hay safely, still holding the bottle of rum. And promptly, she begins to laugh.

"Hello Munin! Men, am I right?"

Blink.... BLINK! Uh oh....

Munin begins to plan her approach to the monkey-cage when he drops Raoghnailt. Luckily, she lands safely.

The rum, however, could be a problem. Standing before the lass, Munin crosses her arms, looking like she isn't sure to be annoyed or amused by her opponents state of inebriation. "That wasn't a man. That was a gorilla... and your drunk".

She tilts her head sideways, looking sidelong at the staff, then back again "Maaaaybe we should postpone this until you get your bearings back. Not sure it's fair fighting me while your drunk off your ass".

"He WAS a gorilla!"

Raoghnailt rises up, staggering, while she hold up two fingers threateningly up at the gorilla. The ape just stares blankly. "You damn gorilla! You filthy ape! A monkey has more class than you!" Raoghnailt breaks out her cane, still holding her jug of rum. Swaying side to side, her face was bright red. "And I am not drunk! I am just fun!"

"Here, let me show you!"

The energy around Raoghnailt suddenly surges to life, a bluish-white light filling the air around her. Her position shifts and shimmers, the thick haze of the awakened energy coming to the aurface around her. The woman's skin seems to glow as well, the seer's robed form dancing with the light. Throwing back another drink of rum, she looks towards Munin, smiling brightly.

"So where are the animals?"

Munins sword flicks out and her stance becomes one of defense when Raoghnailt does her little light show!

However, her guard is lowered when it is clear no attack is incoming. She can only shake her head "Drunk and filled with chi is almost worse than just normally drunk.....". At the question, she looks around slowly "Their all around, in their various enclosures, doing whatever it is each animal does".

She looks around the area they currently are in "Room may be tight...."

With a small smirk, Munin looks to her opponent "Any preference on where in the zoo you want to fight? I myself have none... unless you want to start right here.....?"

Where did she want to fight?

Holding tall like a gangly, glowing scarecrow, the woman was drawing from the artificial environments. Certainly, there was the appearence of natural energy here. But it was weak. It only looked like nature, pretending to be part of Gaia. When Munin asks the question, she is still weaving through the aura in the air. Sensing. Drawing. She might have to feed off of Munin again. Piping up brightly, she answers with very, very little thought.

"I want to fight with the kittens!"

Not understanding how a zoo works, the woman continues vapidly. "I love kittens! Madam Hmmm-MMmm likes kittens too! Sometimes, she lets me touch her, and I get filled with snakes. The most beautiful snakes, they are like gods! And then everything becomes a wild blur, and I must hunt!" Raoghnailt suddenly frowns. "Oh... And thens the kittens end up dead. But I end up feeling so strong. I think I kill the kittens. But I don't mean to! It's just..." The woman pauses.

"Munin, am I a -bad person?-"

Munins head tilts to the side as she ponders this, unsure if it's the rum talking, the rum loosening her tongue, or just her in general. However, she tries to make sense of it....

The 'filled with snakes' part she can't make heads or tails of....

The wild blur DOES make sense, and the pieces kinda fall together from there. Raoghnailt feeds or drains auras and chi. Munin recalls unknown men taking the celtic lass away after their last match, meaning more than likely whoever her 'keepers' are are using some sort of mental conditioning. Drive her into a feeding frenzy as a test of how MUCH she can drain, or various other reasons.

If she can drain an animal to death, she can likely drain a person to death as well. A weapon? Potentially.....

More importantly, that would make her an anti-fighter weapon, as it were! If the process or abilities aren't unique, then an army of such could be.... well, she thinks, best not to go there

All this thought takes the smallest fraction of a second within Munins mind. Back to Raoghnailts question, she does more 'math' as it were just as fast before replying. Girl seems a bit too simple or unaware of the ways of things, that SHE has seen at least, to be truely evil..... "If my guess is correct, then no, your not a bad person. Merely a dangerous one, like so many other fighters around the world".

A weapon?

Raoghnailt was an experiment, that was no lie. She was built as a means of controlling chi; similar to the experiments of NESTS. Where NESTS brought about technology and cybernetics, however, Raoghnailt underwent horrible genetic experiments. But despite her bizarre mindset... at least she didn't seem that insane. And able to recognize, somewhat, that killing kittens might be wrong. Speaking up again, she begins to feel herself yearning Munin's life force. A strange feeling, lusting after aura. It was kinda silly!

"Oh, thank goodness! I was worried I was bad."

Raoghnailt finishes the handle of rum. Unfortunately, like any good weapon, Raoghnailt didn't see herself as good or evil. She simply was a tool for others to use. Tossing the bottle aside, she begins to walk forward, stumbling towards... towards the feeling of beasts. The smell of cats. "Follow! We should fight, not talk so much. Please... please hurry. I feel so strange! Like I want to taste you again. I am sorry about last time. You are fun you know, Munin!"

"Do you have fun with me?"

Munin smirks darkly as the aura around her hands, weapon, and body diminishes somewhat "Oh, i remember that little trick of yours. Not gonna be so easy THIS time, unfortunately. I came up with something of a defense"". She takes careful note of the change in demeanor in Raoghnailt.

It's almost like a chi-vampire, potentially. VERY dangerous when one thinks about it.

"If i didn't have fun, i wouldn't be standing here, now would i? After all, just because someone is lined up doesn't mean they HAVE to show".

With that, she's off! She leaps forwards in a sudden burst, hoping to take her opponent off guard. Her sword stroke is aimed at Raoghnailts knee. If movement is disabled, it potentially makes for an easier fight."

As Munin closes in, she finds herself in that diffusing field.

Her moments slow down, cutting through the thick chi soup around Raoghnailt. The red-haired woman doesn't even look, just sweeping her cane around. Oh, she was drunk. That was certain. But as Munin finally comes in, she just reaches her free hand out. Touching the blade. Getting cut by it. Bleeding over it, but guiding it away. Blood seemed so... so plain now. It was strange. As Munin felt so close, a twitch, a tremble comes over Raoghnailt. "I can feel how fun you are. Oh Munin!" Raoghnailt would try to seize Munin, to take her, and bring her close. To hold her tight, to drag her along, draining her energy along the way as they approach the hidden acolve of the zoo. Munin might avoid the grapple, but she would need to be on her toes.

Because they were entering the Lion's den.

A great maned male emerges from the plaster and sandstone cave, his ears perking up at the arriving guests. Three maneless females rise up as well, looking at the pair. Circling. Licking their chops. Eyeing them carefully. Raoghnailt senses them, but continues forward, whether or not Munin was in tow. The lions, however, seem more than interested in them.

After all, it was feeding time.

Oooooh boy..... this is gettin weird.

Munin easily senses the change in attitude, having been partially looking for it. Sounds a bit like a form of bloodlust, particularly based on Raoghnailts willingness to take the swing with her arm like that.

With a leap backwards, she manages to escape just enough to avoid the grab, knowing full well her opponent wants to drain her, and not about to just LET that happen. Unfortunately, Munin thinks to herself, ranged attacks are just as dangerous, as she recalls their last encounter.

She blinks as the lions stand up as the fight goes into their den....

Aaawww crap!

Moving in, she goes for a throw of her own, to try to throw Raoghnailt out of the lion pit before following after!

It wasn't weird until Raogh starts to smell her!

The celtic mystic continues to walk amongst the beasts, unburdened by Munin. "I love nature, Munin! I don't like this place. It isn't real. Why are you a shadow person? Why are you corrupted, and fake, like this place? You are unnatural, aren't you." Raoghnailt sighs, as the shadow fighter lunges in. Raoghnailt draws some symbols in the air, a gust of wind building around her. Munin finds that her assault is caught up in the wind and chi fog, drifting her down towards the pit safely.

And for Raoghnailt to walk into the pit right after her.

Cascading downwards, the scottish lass spirals through the air, the rifts over energy carrying her. A slow, flying kick, the mystic was going to drive herself hard into Munin. To pierce her darkness with her light. And through it all, her skin was still glowing with that ethereal light. "I feel you Munin. Does it hurt though." She asks, puzzled. Even if she missed, it was as if Raoghnailt was oblivious, in a world free of danger.

Until the Lions begins to close in on Raoghnailt.

The wind proves to be quite the problem, particularly when it brings one into a pit of meat-eaters....

"I simply am...." is her only pained response as she recalls past events. "This place is for holding animals for people to gawk at and visually study...." she eyes the lions nervously "... As such their 'containment' areas are designed to resemble their natural habitats as much as possible....".

As she looks back she ERKS as she sees the kick coming! Almost blindly, she ducks the kick, brings the pommel of her weapon up towards Raoghnailts stomach, then slips around behind her to throw her back up and out of the enclosure, following herself afterwards with a series of leaps.

She eyes her opponent with a steady, controlled gaze, even with a bit of pity.... "They live in guilded cages.... much like you do, i suspect.....".

"Resemble, Shemumbles!"

Raoghnailt dismisses it. "I'm not caged like them. I can feel past the shadows of the real world, I feel the lifeblood of the earth!" The woman's statement is stopped as she is caught in the gut very quickly. A pained moan erupts, followed by a squeak. "Pain..." She sighs. "... I am the queen of the power." She begins, rising up as the pride of lions start to circle. The blood on her hand. They must sense it. A single female lion lowers down, readying to leap. But Raoghnailt cannot see. She doesn't react to the beast, not yet. "I am an angel of the earth! Made to be a gift. I am part of chi, mind body and spirit. It is my master.."

"And soon, I will master it"

One of the lions pounce. Raoghnailt drops the cane, her eyes in thise irregular ground. Arms out, she holds up her arms to the beast.... which begins to freeze in mid-air. The beast growls panicked, confused. And Raoghnailt reaches to the creature, laying her hands on it. A bright light erupts from the Lion, which begins to moan in agony. The red-haired woman giggles lightly, the energy filling her. "THey are servents of the earth, of... of the serpent! Yes!" Her body infusing with a brighter light, she finally releases the lion, which drops to the ground, feebly twisting. The rest of the pride backs away, the mystic's show of power striking to their hearts. But Raogh? Raogh was just grinning. Ever slowly, she begins to weave the pattern. It was not her white energy, no.

It was blood.

The blood of a beast, the life force of nature. Drawing the pattern before it, it is intricate, beautiful. The woman's art coming to life. As it begins to glow brightly, Raoghnailt shakes her head. "I can hear the pain in your voice. You are not NATURAL. You can't hide that from me." Trembling a bit, the blast of energy is finally unleashed, roaring across the pit towards Munin. But a murmur escapes her lips, so softly.

"... Maybe... I can find out how special you are."

Munin eyes Raoghnailt carefully as she starts rambling. Something isn't right here...... she sounds almost as if she's high or something.

When she drains the lioness, however, Munin is no longer amused and VERY concerned.

When she begins to draw a rune in red, Munin tenses to react!

The blast is fast. Though she gets mostly clear, it DOES clip her side, sending her spinning off on her original trajectory. She lands in a skid, leaving a small furrow in the grassy area in which their fighting. (At least the lions got the message....) the thinks to herself (Best to keep her talking. May gain some other information, and may ALSO get her to telegraph....) "Just what is your definition of 'natural'? What does it matter what is natural and what is not? I'm here. This place is here. Your here. Natural or not, that is what is".

She blurs again. Sideways. Tilting her head sideways, and cupping her hand, she whistles briefly, the noise sounding like it's coming from 45 degrees or so to the left! Following this, she leaps, coming in with a powerful attack, hoping to try to end Raoghnailts madness fast....

Raogh? High?

Well, she WAS drunk.

The beasts are driven away. Their powers taken, as meager as they are. Raoghnailt had the heart of a lion now. Blurring makes Munin hard to track, yes. But the diffusion field around Raoghnailt made closing the distance dangerous. Even now, as Munin lunges for a powerful strike, she finds herself becoming dragged down. In exchange, Raoghnailt simply stays put, a smile over her face. As the blade comes, she catches it again, more blood running over her. And as her hands grow more and more drenched, staining her white words, she answers Munin. Words that reveal the utter depth of the woman... or more accurately, lack thereof. How does Raoghnailt make sense of a world of so many grays? She shrugs her shoulders, as she is now, and just says bluntly.

"It's a feeling, you know?"

Just a feeling. Munin was close now. Raoghnailt could taste it, feel it. Shoving it aside roughly, taking deeper cuts in the process, she lunges. "I want you, Munin." She exclaims. "You have real power, I can feel it. But you are not a stream.... but a bucket of it. An artificial shell wrapped around energy. You have a gift. What fuels you? What is your heart!" Attempting to grip the woman, her aura suddenly does something dangerous. Something strange. The air itself begins to manifest, as the seer attempts to drain from Munin.

Droplets of blood drizzle around Raoghnailt.

Munin is quick to leap backwards as the atmosphere changes, evading the throw. Raoghnailt seems to be losing it more and more as the match progresses.... (Now she seems to be hitting on me!) she thinks, eyeing the blind fighter for a weakness.

She decides to change it up tacticly a bit.... "Unfortunately, i'm not sure i swing that way". As she speaks, her sword begins to glow with chi as Munin pumps power through it. "Though if you want to do to me what you just did to that lion, i'll have to decline!".

With that, she tosses her sword in the air towards her opponent, but with a difference from a normal attack....

The weapon is in a slow underhand arc, and doesn't even seem to be aimed at Raoghnailt! The chi infused in it should draw her attention potentionally, however, as Munin comes in with a palm strike aimed at Raoghnailts stomach!

After the strike, Munin catches the decending blade, its distractionary purpose served.

It wasn't hitting on Munin!

It was just pinning her down and taking what makes her special. "Swing that- Oooooh. Noooo!" Raoghnailt just giggles. ""I'm not flirting with you. I like men! Have you ever met Billy?" She begins. But Munin was to the air again. She was following the sword, she smiles. "You are going wide! Another tricky attack?" She begins to move clear of the sword...

And Raoghnailt takes the bait.

The blow comes though, breaking through the diffusion field. Raoghnailt might have incredible powers.. but she was surprisingly frail, if you can past her defenses. Wincing, she recoils. "Nnnnngh..." She begins, building up energy. "I wasn't too cruel to the Lion! I just needed energy! I need your energy! P-p-please!" She exclaims, attempting to strike Munin with her cane.... and to pin her down with it, letting the energy hold her in place while she reaches in for the grab.

And to begin to draw her spirit.

Oh HECK no! As the cane comes in, Munin simply taps it. Not hard, but just enough to redirect it's course to the side. Her sword comes sideways from the redirection, striking for Raoghnailts cheek as Munin leaps backwards and out of range! "You CAN drain energy.... but i suspect it's like a drug. The more you drain, the more you WANT or feel you HAVE to drain".

She tilts her head, smirking a bit "Maybe you need an intervention... ?" (Never mind that it would be ME getting drained.... )

Munin kept denying her.

Raoghnailt's offense is stopped violently, Munin's skill outfoxing the sorceress. "Gah!

And the cane falls.

Raoghnailt begins to spread her arms. Small lights begin to scatter across the lion pit. Each of the points of lights tear through the air, aiming towards Munin. As the attack begins, Raoghnailt begins to rise in the air. Robe swirling, the air begin to grow thick, time almost standing still.

Fleeing the explosions of light filling the ground, they retreat to their caves. Except, well, the one left out in the open. He might need a doctor soon. Or a taxidermist. Drifting aside, Raoghnailt casts her ears towards Munin. The thrust to her chest comes...

And she floats aside.

"Shhhhh." The woman whispers, her arms open wide. "It's okay, Munin. It is okay. It is alright." She sings. The air grows thick, Munin finding herself getting slower and slower. Or perhaps Raoghnailt was getting faster. The light is nearly blinding, as Raoghnailt, her skin... transparent now. Her bones exposed, the light filling all. And carefully, ever so slowly, Raoghnailt drifts towards Munin, her skeletal frame embracing the fighter. Smiling sweetly, she holds Munin. "It's okay... Now... let me.." But words do not suffice. Munin begins to get a strange sensation, as Raoghnailt begins to tap into her energy. Not to drain it, no. This was to let Munin see everything. The pit begins to grow dark, centered on the shadow warrior. The sensation begins to turn into a sharp pain, infecting every corner of her body. A pillar of shadow consumes both Raoghnailt and Munin, the embrace unending. Munin might be able to understand the source of the pain, the source of the suffering. Words cannot describe the feeling of agony as Raoghnailt finally reaches to the very pit of Munin's soul, her life essence, her chi.....

And detonates her entire aura, from within.

Well, being airborn, you can't manuever very well without the ability to fly....

Which Munin, despite her name, does not have!

She tries manuevering anyway, but it is to no avail....

Her eyes go wide as all this occurs, having a good idea of what is being done, but being in too much pain to stop it!

When it explodes, she screeches in agony as her body wavers, and as she starts to fall. She does aim her sword at Raoghnailt, though, letting all the chi she had put in it earlier be released in a single burst! A second explosion of violet and black chi occurs from the pair, almost in reverse of what just happened!

The screams shouldn't make her smile.

But that smile that reaches Raoghnailt's face comes with laughter. The chuckling is natural, nervous. "Hahhahahaha. This isn't funny. But it... makes me happy!" Raoghnailt keeps giggling, releasing Munin. Hands free, she continues to lurk, hovering in the air.

"You're incredible!"

When the sword comes back, the aura around Raoghnailt wicks the shadow energy away. Raoghnailt had her in the storm. She had her energy. ANd soon, she would have all of her. When the blade finally comes though, it tears her arms. Raoghnailt was strong against energy. Blades? Less so. But the smile was coming. "Munin.... I need to..." The woman suddenly shudders. "... I feel... sick..." Her skeletal figure was getting more and more defined. Raoghnailt, now looking almost ghostly, suddenly surges forward, desperately. Blindly. Her hands... or her bones? Attempting to drive the arms into Munin....

And to slowly run her energy-laced arms through the shadow warrior's entire body.

Back in the present, Raoghnailt comes towards her, stating she feels sick, a mere understatement with how she looks.... In that moment, a decision is made...

Munin rushes into the incoming attack, aiming her weapon veeeery carefully, and her form shimmering..... When the strike connects, the chi illusion of Munin vanishes instantly!

This gives her the opening she needs as she strikes Raoghnailt from the side with the chi-infused pommel of her weapon, in an attempt to knock her out without doing too much harm.

Someone wanted her to do this.

But Raoghnailt wanted to do it as well.

But she didn't want what was happening. Raoghnailt tears through the energy illusion, leaving her exposed... and for Munin to go for the finishing blow. For the greater good, it seems. Raoghnailt collapse as the blow comes... and she balls over. Vomitting out the rum. Her skin was still translucent, the body still glowing. Something was wrong. As Raoghnailt falls, Munin moves to catch her, careful to do so from the side so as to avoid the vomit. She holds her up as best she can, looking around at their surroundings currently.

This is too curious to not study, and maybe she can help out at the same time. This kind of thing feels too wrong to NOT do something.

"Your gonna be OK.... i've got you...." she says as she slowly lowers Raoghnailt to the ground, careful not to make the injuries worse as she does what she can. The medics and crew still have yet to catch up, which she is glad for as she does what first aid she can.

And waits.... to see who comes to 'claim' her.

Not to long ago, Mr. Green would be here.

Mr. Green, or perhaps another one of her handlers, would have taken her up. Take her away. Provide her proper treatment. To stabilize her. Munin was not a fool to wait for them. She could find the secret. The truth for Raoghnailt.

But no one was there for Raoghnailt now.

The medical team swarms around Raoghnailt, nervously circling her. Whatever was happening, it was making Raoghnailt sick. And unlike before, she was utterly, and painfully, alone. This wasn't an injured woman at the end of a fight. This was...

THis was a genetic freak.

Munin, for her part, stays close by, eyes alert, weapon in hand and with chi drifting off of it. For the moment, she lets the medical experts do their stuff. They know more than she about the human body and how to heal it. Whatever research or endevors on her part for that will come later.

No, she keeps watch for whoever is intending to claim her, like last time.

... and stop them.

Her eyes glow a bit brighter a shade of purple as she watches the goings on, listening to the medics to see what she can pick up from their conversations for her own future research.....

The cameras turn off, Munin declared the winner. No one would be coming for Raoghnailt. She had so much freedom now, freedom granted by Vice. But with that freedom, she loses her security. So when a fight comes in the SNF, when she prowls across the world... she ends up very, very alone. Painfully alone. The nurses and EMTs finally close in on the woman, inspecting her, checking her vitals. If Munin listens in, she can hear the prhase...

"... I've never seen this before."

The nurses pull the vomitting, skeletal-looking woman. Despite her horrible apperance, she still had her flesh. Whatever was interacting with her, it was making her skin alight. Writhing in pain, the woman vomits again. Perhaps... perhaps all that rum was getting to her. Raoghnailt could handle a lot of things. But never drinking again? Tears stream down her face, as something tumbles from her robe. A card of some sort, bearing a strange symbol.

An insignia with an R on it.

COMBATSYS: Munin has ended the fight here.

Her guard still up, Munin reaches down to pick up the insignia... R?

She's heard of them....

They were causing trouble during the war. Kidnapped Chun-Li, if she recalls correctly. Finally got chased out. She inspects the details upon the card, but in the meantime, she gets an idea.

She walks up to Raoghnailt, and takes her hand, whispering "You can have some, but don't take too much". She doesn't pay the medical team any mind, despite their likely suprised stares.

This may suck, but what experiment doesn't potentially have that outcome?

Munin then begins trying to see if she can channel her chi into Raoghnailt, just as she does her weapons, whether shes coherant enough to drain some on her own or not.

A taste?

Raoghnailt had no desire to feed. She had no desire to sample. No, past her warm exterior, she was a shallow woman, a petty creature. When Munin offers her life to Raoghnailt., she knocks it away. Rejecting her. She did not WANT her. Instead, she hisses, lips deathly pale, and vaguely translucent.

"Get away from me"

Poison dripped from her words. It was an ancient feeling to Raoghnailt. Maybe the pain was getting to her. Or perhaps the fear, the terror. But laying in the sling, she recoils, hissing still. "I won't FORGET this" The woman mutters bitterly. "You.. you did this to me. You -hurt- me. An angel. A perfect being. You are poison." And the words that come out are all too petty. A woman that was about grace, only oozed hate with her final words to Munin.

"I hate you."

And there, Raoghnailt is carted away to a hospital to rest. To heal. To recover.

To reflect.

... And there it is. Truth? Or a mask? Either way, it does not matter....

THIS is what Munin ultimately expects from people, sooner or later. In this case, she suspects it has a source in delusion and instability, but regardless....

This is what she waits for, braces herself to recieve. Even those she has been through major battles with, both against and alongside... Rust, Takako, May Lee, Fuji, Jones, El Fuerte. Heck, even Adon and the strange man who claimed to know where her sister was.

As Raoghnailt is taken away, she only watches from where she stands, flicking the blood from her sword, and returning it to it's hiding place in her sleeve. She shakes her head sadly, commenting idly to herself "Why do i even bother......". Sooner or later, she is no longer useful, if she is even useful at all to anyone.

This always seems to be the eventual result.

With that, she turns to leave, vanishing into the shadows in the process.
