Description: Daddy seems to want his little girl home for this week's event, after Yuri nearly gave everyone more than an eyeful last week. Munin should feel honored to be invited to the Kyokugen Dojo, home of one of the strongest, most capable men in the world--a man who, oddly, never seems to age. In any case, even though Takuma may not be present, Yuri should know that his watchful eye is still upon his little baby girl...as are the eyes of the dozens of students gathered to watch their beloved Kyokugen karate emerge victorious again. Right?
The Kyokugen Dojo is known not only for its unique style of martial arts, but also for training many great fighters there. As a result, it's constantly used as a fighting arena for things like Neo League, Saturday Night Fight, and just about any other sort of match. Today, though, it's a Saturday Night Fight. Which means cameras are set up and an announcer is on hand as well.
Yuri Sakazaki is off to the side, warming up and preparing herself for the fight. She's eager to see Munin, and wants to show her just how awesome the style is. Of course, she doesn't know what Munin might think of the style.
Munin, for her part, has heard a lot about the place. She's seen it from the outside, but can't recall with all the goings on lately if she ever has been inside. She recalls her last match with the spunky lass, and has no intention of underestimating her after the display. After the war, maybe she's good enough to pull through this time.....
Like Yuri, she's going through some warmups with her swords, with a few unarmed strikes thrown in. (Maybe i can pick up some things by watching her....) she turns to face Yuri, waiting for the announcement to start (....should be interesting).
As their called to the mat, she gives Yuri a nod, and a friendly smirk "Been awhile. Hope you've got some new tricks since last we met". Her eyes flash briefly with violet light as she then says "Good luck to you", and she takes a defensive stance and waits for the bell....

"It's you again?" Yuri says with a slightly raised eyebrow and a big grin. "Well, I can assure you that I've improved my skills quite a bit, and I'm looking forward to using them with you!" She cracks her knuckles and then gets into her fighting stance. "We're gonna have a lot of fun here today, since Kyokugen is the most awesome fighting style in the world!"
With a quick turn, Yuri grabs a bottle of water and gulps it down to quench her thirst, then turns to face Munin. "Have you learned anything new? Because I'm just eager to see what you've got up your sleeves!" Strange, but it is Yuri after all.

The smirk on Munins face widens ever so slightly as her eyes narrow. Her dark shadowy chi begins to drift off her weapons and body like a faint black mist "Oh, i've learned my fair share of things with the recent events in China". She winks "Here i come....".
She abruptly rushes towards Yuri, weapons poised to strike!
...Or is she? The real Munin leaps back a few steps as her chi-illusion of herself dashes forwards in her stead. A wave of shadowy chi is sent flying at Yuri from behind the image! The illusion vanishes when struck, either by Yuri, Munins chi attack, or a second or two passes, and has no substance and cannot cause any harm to Yuri aside from being a distraction to try to hide the actual attack!

Munin considers it an illusion, but to Yuri it's nothing more than a mere way of warming her up in terms of testing her skills. She simply grins and brings her hands up while calling out, "Saiha!" As that happens, a shield of energy forms around her hands, eager to catch that wave coming at her. When she gets it, it ends up being reflected back at Munin.
"A-ha! Looks like I've gotten the upper hand already, and I haven't even attacked you yet!" Yuri says with a big grin. "Are you going to give me a challenge, or are you just showing off?"

Oops. Well, THAT didn't work too well!
As the wave comes back, Munin puts her guard up, stopping her returned attack. Being her own Chi, it doesn't hurt as much as it could, luckily, but it DOES give her system a light jolt.
She raises an eyebrow (Note to self: She reflects chi.... just like the guy in the alley). While Munins body still has small wisps of black chi drifting off of it, her weapons abruptly stop doing so "I've seen that trick before. Not about to make it THAT easy for you".
She then promptly blurs forwards, coming in with a series of slashes aimed at Yuris elbows, knees, and wrists, dispensing with the misdirection for now.

"Nice try, but no good!" Yuri says arrogantly as she watches the first slash coming at her, then moves out of the way. She then jumps back a bit more, meaning the slashes hit nothing but air. "You and your swords, you can't top the awesomeness that is Kyokugen Karate!" Yuri razzes Munin in her usual cocky manner. Without missing a beat, Yuri drops to the ground and attempts to knock Munin off her feet with a swift foot sweep.

Munin sees the foot sweep coming as Yuri goes low, and decides to play along.
She steps forwards and over the sweeping attack, her weight shifting forwards, and allowing the sweep to hit what is now her back leg. It DOES hurt. It's a kick, after all! However, she's inside Yuris guard, and her balance is completely fine as her struck leg merely swings limply with the impact before she steps back down on it. She brings her elbow up abruptly aiming for Yuris chin "The fight isn't over yet, short round!".

Yuri thinks she's got the hang of how Munin's acting, but apparently that cocky attitude is getting to be one of her downfalls. Because the elbow comes right at her chin and hits her hard, causing her to twist to the side. Not only does her chin hurt, but she's got a slight pain in her neck too. Apparently, Yuri forgot to stretch her neck before the fight.
"You're right, this is just the beginning!" Yuri says as she recovers, holding her chin and trying not to let it get the best of her. "And just who are you calling 'short?'" Yuri suddenly goes from cocky to angry. "I'm not short, just because I may not be tall as some of the other fighters!" Clenching her fists, Yuri rushes at Munin, bringing one of them back to bring forth a blast of chi.

Munin ponders this as Yuri rebounds from the strike, leaping back a few steps. She shakes her head "Nope.... your short". She smirks as Yuri throws the chi attack, leaping forwards, and passing just over the attack, her face becoming illuminated by the glow of it due to proximity, as she comes in with a double-weapon strike with the momentum of her leap on top of her arms swing strength!
(If i can keep her mad, maybe that'll make her act rashly....) she thinks to herself.

"Oh, no you don't!" Yuri shouts, and shows she's not entirely acting rashly as she turns to the side and steps out of the way of the incoming aerial attack. "You can call me short all you want, but you'll never change the fact that my style is the most awesome style in the world!" Yuri waits for Munin to land before she advances. "In fact, even things like this are awesome!" Yuri adds before she attempts to grab Munin by the shoulder and pull her towards Yuri, while attempting to trip her off of her feet.

Munin erks as she's picked up, but adjusts for it accordingly. As she's tripped, she flips forwards with the momentum, landing roughly on her feet. Her knees ache slightly from the shock of the fast landing, but not enough to slow her.
However, since she's already being held, Munin tries to turn the tables, attempting to throw Yuri with the extra momentum from her recovery!
She adds the taunt "So your 'awsome' school has a throw? I'm SO impressed". The tone is thick with sarcasm and disregard, though it actually is an effective technique if done right.

"Don't be demeaning to our school!" Yuri says as she jumps away from Munin. "You can say all the crap you want, but you won't change how our style is!" Yuri rushes at Munin while yelling, "This is what I do to jerks like you!" If she manages to grab Munin, she'll administer a series of face slaps, then knock her to the groudn.

Munin brings up her weapons, and tries to knock Yuri off balance with one, while attacking with the other, but the munchkin is just too fast. She is knocked silly by the series of slaps, and oofs in a slight daze as she lands, trying to regain her bearings before another attack can come at her......
"Serves you right!" Yuri says with an evil, sarcastic grin on her face. "You should watch who you call short! Because you know what they say, that big things come in small packages!" Yuri razzes Munin, then turns to slap her rear end. It's plain to see what Yuri's saying to Munin.

Munin shakes her head to clear it, afterwards smirking. The comment doesn't even seem to phase her as she replies in kind "I wouldn't know, looking at the front of you. Kinda reminds me of a cutting board from here".
Course, there is more to it, as Munin blurs forwards, attempting to palm-strike Yuri under the chin, in the same place the attack earlier struck! She hopes the taunt will keep her distracted just long enough.....

As Munin comes at Yuri, the Kyokugen girl brings her left fist forward in a swift strike, almost like she's trying to shoo Munin away, but it does make contact. The only problem is that Munin makes contact with Yuri as well, and she stumbles backwards, holding her chin. She seems a little woozy for a moment too, almost like she's not quite with it...
Munin winces a bit as the strike impacts, but has little power. However, at this range, and with Yuri seemingly out of it, she decides to try to use it to her advantage.
Her arm snaps out at Yuris neck, attempting to pull her close, so their face to face. Following this, her eyes explode with chi, point blank! She hopes this will KEEP Yuri off balance a bit longer....

Yuri finds herself getting a bit up close and personal with Munin, not something that Yuri's particularly fond of. Even though she's being held, Yuri still manages to get her arms up to protect her face. When Yuri feels the impact of the attack hit her arms, Yuri relaxes a little, then looks Munin in the eyes. "I think it's time I showed you what I'm really capable of!" She then attempts to launch into her own unique version of the Dragon Punch, modified to her own style.

With a blur, Munin brings her swords up in a crossblock, blocking the strike, but grunting with the force of the impact. Her arms burn from the strain, which makes her nervous as to how much that would have hurt if it hit full on.
She hops back, then backflips further away, stopping to catch a quick breather as she eyes Yuri, defenses up just in case Yuri presses the attack.

"Am I wearing you out?" Yuri asks with an evil grin once again. "I've barely even broken a sweat! What's wrong with you, afraid of hurting me?" Yuri mocks Munin with her words. "Come on, you know you can do better than that!"

An eyebrow is raised once more, followed by another smirk "Ha! Sorry kid, but your hits are nothing compared to what i've felt before. Doesn't mean enough of them won't have an effect. I AM only human....." (at least, i think i am..... heh) "Ok... i'll throw it all down, then.....". With that, Munins eyes begin to glow steadily with bright purple light, not as much as the burst earlier, but enough that it's visible in the dojos light. She decides to borrow another line from another fighter in media, just for shits and giggles "Let's go, bub!".

"Bub? Wait, who are you, that comic book guy with claws?" Yuri can't help but chuckle at what Munin is doing now. "Oh, that's so funny! You must be trying to make me laugh!" Another chuckle, before Yuri realizes Munin is serious. "OK, so if you wanna go again, I'm willing to oblige you!" Yuri leaps into the air and attempts to deliver a flying kick at Munin.

As Yuri leaps, Munin only steps sideways! She slashes her weapon up once as Yuri passes, walking slowly in the direction from which the small one came. She turns to look back at Yuri as the girl lands, with something of a feral grin "Nice try.... would have hurt a lot if it actually hit me".
Her glowing eyes narrow as she watches Yuri for further movement "Your good, but an attack like that won't get you far". Her attitude seems to be a bit more aggressive now than it was.
"OWWW!" Yuri cries out as she gets slashed, falling to the ground and landing in a somewhat crumpled heap. She gets herself up, finding some blood coming from where she was slashed, and now a scowl is on Yuri's face. "All right, you've had your fun, now it's my turn!" Yuri pulls her fists together and begins to focus her chi into them, then yells out, "HAOH SHO KO KEN!" Before sending out a large blast of chi, looking almost like a large fireball! Aimed right at Munin no less!

As the attack closes, with a burst of speed, Munin seems to vanish in a burst of shadowy chi, reappearing a few feet to the side.
Not waiting for Yuri to recover, she closes, but with a twist. She splits in two! One of the two attacks high, the other attacks low! One is another chi illusion, but which is which? Seems she really is taking off the gloves as best she can.

Which is real and which isn't? When in situations like this, Yuri believes it's best to just take a defensive stance as a precautionary thing. Even when the impact gets to her, Yuri barely staggers backwards. In fact, after recovering, Yuri simply steps back and takes a few deep breaths. "Now this is what I'm talking about!" She says with a slight grin.

The only response Yuri gets is smirk, followed by another series of strikes as Munin tries to slow her down. Vital points, the wrists, neck, tendons, and major joints are the targets! Yuri asked to get it on, so it's on! Munin doesn't seem interested in jibing, at least not at the moment. Not when theres a tempo going so nicely!

"A-ha, so you're ready now, are you?" Yuri says with a grin as she spins out of the way of the incoming attacks. "Well, so am I! Let me show you something neat!" Yuri crouches down for a moment, then jumps towards Munin with her leg outstretched in a spinning kick that looks like the infamous Hurricane Kick, although it's more in an arched manner than just going straight at Munin.

%Munin sees it coming a mile away, it seems. She steps sideways, letting the attack fly right past. She leaps into the air, coming down from above, in the hopes of catching Yuri unprepared and recovering from the technique "Nice trick, but too bad it missed again".
She tries the same trick she used against El Fuerte: Use the lights to hide her decent, at least partially!

Using the lights to deceive Yuri is a smart move, since she can't even tell where the attack is coming from untill it's too late. When Yuri feels the attack hit her, she drops to the ground, landing on her rear. A brief yelp is heard before Yuri pushes back up onto her feet. Even in her beaten state, Yuri still manages to keep her stance steady. "I won't let you get the best of me!" Yuri snaps. "Kyokugen will always come out on top!" She attempts to grab Munin, deliver a body blow, then finish with an over-the-shoulder throw.

Oof! That hurts! A lot! The body blow stuns Munin long enough for Yuri to get the throw, sending her to the floor. She wobbles as she pulls herself quickly up, the strain of the impact clear on her face. The glow of her eyes has flickered to almost nonexistant now as she starts to feel the drain from the battle and the impacts.
She slowly draws in a breath or two, eyes locking on Yuri. Her form begins to shimmer slightly, like a mirage. "Not bad.... at all".
Then she smirks "But.... your still short". Munin then begins to snicker to herself a bit.....

"Oh, I might be short, but I'm still dangerous!" Yuri says, now grinning instead of scowling. "I won't hold anything back. Never!" Yuri leaps into the air and then sends forth a blast of chi, aimed diagonally downwards at Munin.

As the shot hits, Munin is knocked back several steps. She wavers, looks like she'll fall, when suddenly, she does... several things at once! Several chi-illusions of her all converge, splitting off and doing completely seperate moves all at once, from several angles! One swings from the left! another drops in from above with both weapons! One sends lances of black chi at her! Another explodes with chi! Yet one more appears behind her, threatening to stab her in the back! So many..... which is real?!?

Her attack thrown, Munin collapses, dazed and out of the fight. She doesn't even see if she hit or not.
Yuri ducks down, unsure of what to make of this strange attack. Fortunately, it avoids her completely, and Yuri stands up and dusts herself off. "That was a pretty good fight. Even if you were insulting to me, you're still a strong foe!" Yuri grins before walking off to get looked at by the fight doctors.
