Description: Geese's return to public combat is greeted by two impressive fighters, and a hell of a lot of violence. (Winner: NO ONE BUT KHORNE).
Saturday Night Fight! It's been a while since Hayato Nekketsu has had a good fight, and what better way to get back into practice than jumping right on in? Hayato hasn't had any challenges more difficult than some unruly students to deal with, so when offered the chance to get some punching in, he quickly jumped on a plane headed to the United States, to get to Masters Stadium.
One flight (with a number of tiny bottles of booze consumed) later, and Hayato is soon ushered into the White Arena, and left standing on the sanded wood floor to wait for the fight to begin. Teaming up with another fighter to take on Geese Howard, of all people? Well, Hayato has never been one to shy away from a challenge!
"No, no, you don't have to wear a costume. I mean, if you want to, I'm sure the fans wouldn't mi... oh, alright. No, no, that's ok. Just show up and be ready. You're part of the main event this time!"
Such was Blanka's return to SNF, and an eager contestant he is! Clad in his standard fighting jean shorts, he approaches the White Arena's glass with a few practiced leaps and bounds. With a mighty jump, he hops above the 'invisible' walls, and lands inside the fighting 'ring' with a tumble that turns into a battle crouch. His hair is all abristled, sparks of blue-white lightning crackling here and there.
An aside in his hushed gravelly voice, Hayato is whispered to by the green giant. "..Blanka still remember how to make entrance. Fight good, ok?"

Geese Howard is a man who's been out of the public eye for several years now. In fact, he's a man that most still consider dead. After all, a building did, by all reports, fall on him. If 'fall on him' is a strong enough word for what was done to his Tower, and his good name. Protip: It isn't. Still, rumors are flying in some circles, lately. That Geese Howard is not only alive, but professing the invasion of Southtown to be about a takeover... not an expose'. That he's actually been seen here and there working to calm the recent explosions of violent rage. That the Southtown Syndicate is alive and well... and perhaps Howard was not its head after all. Or anymore.
The only part that's obviously, evidently true: Geese is alive. By all appearances, well also. In prime physical condition, albeit with a few more scars here and there - nothing the former King of Southtown ever lacked, admittedly. It's enough to make a rival understand why Geese's resilience might drive Terry a little mad. Stark white gi is emblazoned with a simple kanji and tucked into red and black hakama, a classic and conservative look fitting the battlefield arranged tonight. Someone, it seems, wanted to give him a challenge.
Not that Geese is obliged to let anyone see him sweat. A small, smug smirk plays on his features, studying Hayato, icy gaze shifting to Blanka as the man-beast of Brazil arrives. It's only the gaze that moves, at first, Geese turned half away from both his opponents, arms crossed where he stands on his 'side' of the 'dojo'. "You will have to. Regardless how many they send." Howard promises Blanka coolly, too confidently. The muscular blonde crimeboss moves with a grace that belies his rather impressive size. He doesn't so much seem to feint and shift direction as he glides along a current that builds momentum in a serpentining lunge in for the green giant. It happens all in the instant the fight announcer officially says 'GO!!!'.
Geese's arm launches out for Blanka's meaty appendage, and there'd be a subtle, swift tug accompanied by a sidestep. But the only intention is to guide Blanka's inevitable resistance forward, and around. Step to the side and twist, and suddenly, Geese Howard intends to be -behind- Blanka, his other hand grasping the scruff of the Brazilian beast's neck, before one powerful foot and leveraging arm attempt to relieve him of his feet, and slam him facefirst into the hardwood floor. "Hmph!"
Hayato absolutely does not approve of Geese's 'business', but now isn't really the time to confront him about it. Really, there's no good time to confront Geese about something like that if you like your bones, but Hayato doesn't worry about such things. No, it's a bad time to confront him about it because they're all here to fight. Hayato grins and nods to Blanka. "Oh, I plan to!" And it seems Geese does as well.
While Geese is grabbing at Blanka, Hayato attempts to slip around the other man, approaching him from behind. He reaches out with his left hand, trying to snare the back of Geese's gi, and start pulling him over backwards. At the same time he brings his right fist swinging up toward Geese's kidney, trying to follow it up by continuing his downward tug to send Geese to the floor.

Some instincts die fast - and Blanka's been out of action for quite a while. He's just a hint slower as Geese darts forwards, and his balance is just a bit off when the move completes, putting Geese behind him. Up and back down with a crunching thud, Blanka goes face-first into the wooden floor, arms splayed out and all akimbo. It's enough to disenhearten a beast-man, it really is!
Well, maybe a 'normal' beastman. Blanka is anything but normal - and as he groans in pain, he's already getting back to his feet - his low battle crouch easily returned to after a brutal floor slam. Trying to work at Geese in the same way that Hayato does, he bounds up into the air. As he comes back down, he's aiming at the man's midsection with both big calloused feet, intent on driving them right through Howard's stomach!

There's a distinct difference in Geese's absence: lack of action was not part of the equation. When one's in-laws try to kill you, and take over your gig, someone like Geese.... well, let's just say training got both more urgent, and more angry. His own adaptive instinct is primal, if not so overt as Blanka's inner animal - Hayato's grip finds the back of his gi, even as Geese steps in /towards/ Hayato, and twists. His reduced profile doesn't so much slip in beside the fiery teacher's strike, as it preemptively imposes itself, his arm darting up to hook the grasping arm at the elbow.
It's about this time that Blanka, recovering his stance and going airborne with alarming ferocity and force, comes in at Howard. Which means it's time to leave. The Syndicate master twists, following his aforementioned imposition on Hayato by painfully twisting the man's arm out behind him and around, the same rotation and step bringing a sweep in for the front of Nekketsu's heels. A sweep, a heave that goes with the -original- direction of Hayato's lunge, his own weight behind it, and Hayato is released up and harshly sidelong, with enough velocity and disorienting rotation applied painfully to the launching arm to launch him about, corkscrewing to an undoubtedly uncomfortable landing.
Hayato winces as his arm is pulled to an angle it really doesn't want to go to, and then he's sent crashing into the floor. There's a twinge of pain as the teacher moves his arm to push himself back to his feet, but he's able to ignore it and soldier onward. At least Geese didn't manage to dislocate the limb.
Having gotten himself back up, Hayato eyes Geese for a moment, then takes a few quick steps into a leap toward the crime lord. He lashes out with one quick kick at Geese's upper torso, attempting to push off from the impact. Should he succeed, he flips around to lash out with a second kick before dropping back to the floor.
Still too slow?! Blanka passes through the space where Geese once was - but on the plus side, his momentum is still completely intact. As he hits the ground, he tucks into a ball, impact hard enough to rattle the solid strips of wood in the arena floor. He tumbles one revolution away, and then elongates his body like a spring, coiled tension sending him towards the arena's edge.
With a shake and quake, he hits the 'wall' of the arena, both feet and one hand somehow finding friction enough on the glass to maintain his height - he turns his other arm towards the two fighters left, and then pushes off into the air, craning and twisting his body to try and land on Geese's back with his full weight, and apply a very vicious nomming to the intense warrior!

Neither Blanka nor Hayato are off the offensive for long - and by all appearances, that's exactly the way Geese wanted it. Howard smiles once, pleased for a moment as his resiliently honed arms come around, brough in-line with Nekketsu's assault. The swift kick grazes off one forearm, however, and crashes hard into the crimelord's chest, driving the masterful martial artist backwards with a loud outrush of air. Then spittle, as the second kick sends him lurching further, crashing to one knee as fingertips trail the smooth wood floor, a breath defiantly gasped back into his lungs as if, if he did it fast enough, no one would see him falter.
In Geese's defense? It's only for an instant. The audience gasps, tension hangs in a frozen moment, as it looks for all the world like Blanka leaps in on a hurting and hesitating Howard. As he lands, however, it's to find Geese's palm snapping up and to the side, his crouched body twisting as he intercept the airborne beastman with little more than a glance backwards. At first. The flexed hand crashes harshly into the Brazilian beast's vulnerable throat, suspending him, opposing that force for the one, painful, slow-motion-on-dvd moment it takes for Geese to come about, and slam his other palm in for Blanka's midsection.
The apparent palmstrike never hits. Instead, a blast of searingly cold, yet fiery blue-white erupts and consumes Blanka, launching him like a rocket engine right back at that wall.
Now that's a bit more like it. Hayato kicks off of Geese and manages to land on his feet, skidding backward a short distance on the smooth floor. Blanka's starting to look pretty battered, though, so it may be time to try and pick up the pace. Of course, anybody would be looking pretty battered after being tossed around, struck and blown up by Geese.
Hayato attempts to do some battering of his own, trying to close in while Geese is recovering his stance after that energy blast. He charges in at full speed, lashing out with a lightning-fast flurry of shinai strikes. He's going a bit too fast to really stop well, though, so rather than try he just attempts to end his combo with a shoulder charge right into Geese.
Caught up by the scruff of his neck again - except this time it's in the front and it's choking and it's painful and he is being held up off the ground and how can Geese hold him up Blanka is /huge/! And then Blanka's train of thought is derailed violently, the impact of that chi-flare knocking him away like a rag doll, a tumble and thumped till the glass wall catches him and stops him. Blearily, Blanka looks up to see Hayato pressing the attack - and in that case, can Blanka do any les?
To his feet, using one hand to brace himself up like a football tackle on the line. He waits until the fast series of strikes starts, and then he lunges forwards, almost a gallop as knuckles and toes propel him forwards. At the last second, he simply tries to slide under Geese's guard and between the other warrior's legs, one fist coming up in a rather rude punch indeed. If you can't win clean, well - win any way you can, gosh darn it.

A man like Geese has lots of reasons to be paranoid. A man like Geese probably has a checklist of expectations and preparations that keep him alive, even when he appears to have been killed. It's probably safe to say that 'getting pounded in the scrotum when blindsided by a baseball sliding mutant' has appeared in no sage warning, logical or spiritual. While a sudden burst of grace and speed serve Howard well in facing off against Hayato - the snapping Shinai catches only air, Howard weaving and sidestepping, shifting around to one flank, and then the other, more readily than he retreats. It's meant to give him space to react to Blanka, as well.
In the end, however, he only has time to drop his eyes from where he /anticipated/ the Beastman... to where he /is/. There's also a half second of shocked disbelief. Then pain explodes through his brain, and there's little option but to drop, hard, to his knees, and then forward. "Ngh.. y.. you..." One might anticipate the threat or inspired reprisal of seeking to neuter Blanka. Apparently, however, Geese would prefer to /CUT HIS ENTIRE BODY OFF./ "DOUBLE...." He rises with the sweep of his left hand, a tumultuous geyser of chi erupting before him, its dark, roiling mass redoubling in an instant as he heaves his right side around, energy trailing flames from his hands as the dark fire erupts in a man-high, wide tsunami of tearing, harsh-edged power. "REPPUKEN!!!"
Despite who Geese is, Hayato still can't help but wince in sympathy for a moment. Just for a moment, though, because after a hit like that, Geese is probably going to want to dish out the pain in return and... yes, there he goes. And if he stays angry he'll probably turn that rage on Hayato sooner or later. So if he's going to feel Geese's ire, he might as well earn it!
While Geese is unleashing his rage in Reppuken form, Hayato attempts to get in from behind once again. Grabbing him by the gi didn't work too well, but perhaps he can pull off something that will give Geese a bit less leverage to work with. This time he attempts to lock an arm around Geese's throat, pulling down hard, while using his free hand to simply punch Geese in the head for as long as he can before he's forced to let go. This is Geese Howard, after all, so that probably won't be too long.

Jungle Instincts: Hit hard, and then figure out what to do from there. However, few jungle animals have to deal with the roiling wave of energy that is Geese Howard's Double Reppuken like Blanka does! On the good side, it seems that his attempt to keep some of the heat off of Hayato has worked well. On the bad side, almost all of that rage and pain is focused right at Blanka. Scooting along the ground, he curls up into a ball and gains speed, outrunning the geyser of violent dark chi. He curves around, the better to pull himself out of the wave's way - and even better to twist around and come in again!
In time to Hayato's set of punches, Blanka leaps airwards - this time when he comes in though, he's not just a ball of green muscle - instead, he's a ball of green muscle and blue-white electricity. As he comes in, he howls out a loud 'AWHROOOO!', trying to psych himself up to offer every little bit of power he can into the impending impact!

Even as Blanka crashes back into the wall, Hayato crashes into Geese. Clotheslined to the floor out of his countering technique, Geese finds his face pummeled by blows, Nekketsu's capable fist crushing tissue and cracking into bone with much aplomb. Blood trickles from Howard's nose and lip, but there's no break in his alertness. It is indeed only a moment before he moves, the same moment Blanka crashes in. It's as much internal as external. His entire form seems to erupt outwards at once, suffuse with strength, a tangible shockwave spiralling outwards from Geese as he rolls /into/ the crashing beastman, and forcefully out of Hayato's playful grip.
Both arms cross, colliding with not so much Blanka, as the electricity coursing around him. Bolts surge up Howard's arms, muscles spasming painfully, but most of the lightning erupts outwards, crackling as it strikes the metal reinforcing the framework of the transparant wall. With a kiai that's as much snarl as anything more articulate, Howard is back on his feet. One palm comes in high, descending. The other comes in low, ascending. The former aligns with Blanka's skull (or neck!) and the latter, just below his ribcage, right in the middle of his body. It's a sudden, self-opposing leverage that, if it works as intended, will flip the jolly green giant skyward, end over end, with alarming velocity as Geese twists and heaves forward to ensure that quick acceleration that everyone loves.
Blanka is certainly serving as an admirable distraction! Hayato can only hope that he's not going to suffer too much for it. Some suffering on Geese's part is perfectly okay, of course. Trying to hold onto him to administer it is tricky, though. Geese breaks free and Hayato is forced to step back and prepare himself for an assault... which doesn't come. Poor Blanka.
Still, Hayato can at least try to take advantage of the opening. He runs up to Geese, once again trying to keep himself on the side opposite Blanka. He winds back his arm, preparing a full-body swing to bring his shinai crashing down onto Geese's head.

Blanka's helping! Blanka's helping! Blanka seems to have found his groove - even if he's taking a battering and a beating like Hayato is, he's starting to get some good licks in, trying to keep up with his teammate. Can't let Hayato have all the awesome, after all! As he discharges that chi-laced lightning, Geese tries to make him pay with the two-fisted upperandlower-cut of doom.
Blanka takes it like a champ - he might even have tucked his head forwards, so the punch coming down can better flip him upwards and towards Geese - but once in the air, Blanka's strategy comes in to play. Never quite letting go of the fists that have hit him in belly and noggin, Blanka flips forwards, using the momentum to land his thighs on Geese's shoulders, abdomen right against Geese's face - and his hands grab the man's hair and hold tight as he channels another bright blast face-first into the Elder Howard! "Aroooverse Piggybaaaaaaack!" he shouts, giving the watching crowd something they haven't seen before - and poor Geese is probably in much the same situation!

Hayato 1/-----==/=======|
The electrified reintroduction of Blanka to his face wasn't really part of the plan, either. Geese rolls with it, however. Or, more accurately, at first he kind of convulses with it. Electricity rolls over Howard's body, launching him away from Blanka as much as he launches Blanka away from himself. Then, of course, there's Hayato charging in at his back, flanking around even as the chi conspires to tear muscle from tendon. A deep, if ragged breath is drawn. Once again, it appears as though the second compatriot has an advantage, and Geese may not be able to adapt in time. But somewhere along the way, all that electricity didn't fade. It just stopped hurting Geese. Then there was more of it. (Understatement).
The four quadrants around where Howard stands fill with lightning, the oddity being that the bolts strike /upwards/ from the ground, rather than being born of the sky. Mansize, ragged bolts of golden-white electricity reave the space around Howard as he slams a hand groundwards, the entire arena seemingly shaking and shuddering as the four columns of body searing legal-in-texas voltage tear about in a rough circle, arcs of lightning roaring from one to the other ensuring that anyone in the diameter... well, won't be for long. One way, or the other. "BREAK!!!" It's apt enough.
Hayato was expecting some electricity to fly in this battle, but not for it to be directed toward him. He doesn't get a chance to see if his attack actually landed cleanly or not. You'd think he'd be able to tell just from the feel, but it's amazing what that much electricity can do to a brain. And a body. Hayato is engulfed in lightning, and a few moments later is falling to the floor, smoking.
There's still sparks jumping off him as he staggers to his feet, then grins. "That all you got?!" Blazing chi flares up all around Hayato's body as he breaks into a sprint, charging toward Geese. He leaps forward with a kick off the floor, holding his shinai in front of him as he begins spinning through the air. His weapon and body form a blazing tornado as he flies in toward Geese.
Luckily, Blanka gets out of the way before the explosion of chi from Geese causes any more damage than everything else he's hit Blanka with. Blanka can't help but wince, tho, when he sees Hayato get blown upwards and then back down. When Hayato stands back up, well - he's impressed, to say the least. Hayato's giving his all, Blanka can do no less! Energized and enthused by the other fighter's vigor and strength, Blanka slams his hands into the ground in an ape-like manner, hooting loudly his excitement.
When the burning tornado of kunai-shaped damage closes in on Geese, the green giant barrels forwards. He comes in low, but instead of trying to slide under his opponent, he bounds in from the other side, aiming both knees at the small of Geese's back, trying to stun him and help Hayato get the man caught up in his attack!!

Do or die. It's something of a mantra. Clearly, on top of that? Geese is not a fellow who likes the second option at all. Hayato rising is indeed impressive resilience - but it doesn't seem to surprise Howard. Nor does he share Blanka's enthusiastic joy over the revelation. Instead, ice blue eyes narrow, stern brown furrows, and the enigmatic master simply shakes his head. Or at least, he does for a moment before he is rather abruptly forced to move. It's to his left, first, leaving his back unaligned with the bounding green attacker's feet. Partly because there's distance immediately gained, hands weaving a precise motion as a chill wind surges through him, his inner power focused as he daringly lunges forward, driving flames aside for just a moment - the alarmingly quick turnabout once more bringing Howard in on Hayato. "Predictable!"
It doesn't appear to last long enough to burn, though that's likely a product of the energy Howard pushes to the fore, rather than any amount of alacrity. Rather than grabbing the teacher directly, the motion brings an explosive, brilliant charge of energy into the visible spectrum more fully - the instant before the whirling torpedo that is Hayato blazes a course through Geese, a deceptively simple, efficient strike blasts sidelong into his skull. It's a rather quick redirection of course, luckily for Howard.
When spinning like that, there really isn't any way to defend yourself. And usually it doesn't matter much. Trying to hit someone in the head while they're flying at you, spinning at high speed, and pouring out chi is pretty difficult, to put it mildly. Geese doesn't seem to care about such things. Hayato sees stars, and he's sent off into a rather ungainly looking flight, limbs flailing wildly as he's knocked for a loop while still in mid-air and spinning.
His head doesn't seem to be clearing, either. But as he thrashes through the air, he gets one, very brief, glimpse of Geese, and tries his best to swing his whole body around to bring one foot crashing into Geese's head. He forces all the energy he can muster into the blow, all of that blazing chi centering around his foot. But he's too disoriented to tell if he's anywhere near hitting. Then he lands head-first on the floor, skids for a short distance with his legs in the air, and then finishes collapsing.

Oh geez, that looked especially painful. Blanka's missed seeing the moment of contact, but can feel the powerful impacts as the pressure wave pushes him a little further along the ground. He's unscathed, but his teammate, well.. Let's just say it could have ended better. With Hayato still trying to affect the outcome, Blanka can't lie back and let things linger on. Attacking at the same time as his teammate is pretty much all he has going for him - even if the ever-elusive Howard is still ever-so-hard to pin down.
Pin down. That's it!
As Hayato takes his final shot, Blanka turns and runs away. That's right, straight up bounds away from the fighters. It's not just to escape, though it may look it. As he hits the arena's edge, he just runs right up the glass side, till he hits it's ceiling. Giant toes curl around the lip of the glass, and he leaps off into the air, splaying himself out as wide as he can and trying to land squarely in Geese, intent on driving him right down into the arena's wood flooring.

The window of opportunity to avoid being torched by Hayato was limited. The window now may be wider - but it's no less painful when it crashes down on one's fingers. Or belly flops off the proverbial top rope. The fire-fueled attack crashes into Geese's forearm, raking flame across his limb as the impact reverberates resoundingly. Before he can push off the defense to avoid Blanka's rampant floppage, Howard finds himself abruptly crushed beneath the jolly green giant.
The only immediate response is instintual, reflexive. It's unlikely Geese really can see what he needs to do, as he tries and fails to rise. Instead, he lashes out, a backhand ripping through the air and cleaving a jagged, sharp edged arc of blue chi like a conjured blade. Someone get this damn thing off him!!! That was a satisfyingly meaty thud as he lands on Geese Howard - Blanka can feel oh-so-good about it when he impacts the Howard icon, and pushes him down. He's dizzied himself, but still aware and awake enough to know that he's not entirely sure if Howard will /stay/ down. When it looks like the big man is still able to attack, Blanka doesn't move away - instead, he uses the fact that he's basically in full body contact with Geese to his advantage. As the arm hits and starts to knock him away, he bursts into one last blast of blue-white lightning, a nice sizzling finale to the fight, and one that ends with Blanka pretty much a) smoking and b) unconcious. He's smiling, tho - looks like some things you never forget - like how to survive in the jungle, arena or otherwise.
