Description: On the campus of Wellesley College, a Saturday Night Fight is set up between sumo fighter Hinako and Kyokugen master Yuri. Will Yuri triumph, or will Hinako crush her? (WINNER: Hinako)
Hinako Shijou hasn't been making a big impact on the overall fighting scene lately. She's been busy with school, for one thing, and making inroads in the world of sumo. But it doesn't mean that she hasn't been training. Although as usual, there isn't much in the way of visible signs. Her petite frame fails to indicate her seriously impressive strength.
But even if she hasn't been fighting much lately, she couldn't turn down the invitation to come for an exhibition match at Wellesley College. To be presented as a woman making strides in a male-dominated fighting world is an honor, and certainly won't look bad on her extracurricular records. She gazes happily around the college quad, staying near the area set aside for the fight, humming a cheerful tune to herself.
Meanwhile, Yuri Sakazaki has already arrived at Wellesley College, and has been taking the time to loosen up and warm up, all the while eagerly chatting with her fans and bragging to them about how cool Kyokugen Karate is. Apparently, Miss Sakazaki likes to utilize her fights as a way of spreading the knowledge of Kyokugen Karate, albeit in her own way. As soon as Yuri finishes, she stands up and cracks her knuckles.
Then she spies Hinako and almost immediately an evil grin forms on her face. "So, you're gonna be my opponent, huh? Well I'll have you know that I've been working on my skills and I've got quite a few surprises up my sleeve!" Yuri gets into her fighting stance, bouncing on her heels as part of her 'quirk' of her fighting style.

Hinako gives Yuri a friendly smile, walking over to take her place for the start of the actual match. She checks her hands, making sure that her fingers and wrists are properly taped up, and briefly checks to ensure that her unusually heavy boots are tightly laced. Then she stands up and gives Yuri a brief bow. "Let's have a fun match!"
And then it's time to begin! Hinako runs across the field toward Yuri, lunging at the other girl as she gets close. She attempts to wrap both arms around Yuri, then heave backwards to lift the Kyokugen fighter off the ground and send her sailing back over Hinako's head.

Yuri is grabbed by Hinako, and finds that she's got quite a very constricting grip. Nevertheless, Yuri isn't going to let this get the best of her. As soon as she's thrown into the air, she attempts to time it so she can roll as soon as she hits the ground. Of course, she's still a little off-balance and finds herself getting hurt a little. But it's merely a flesh wound compared to what it could have been.
"All right, we're warmed up, now let's do this!" Yuri says with a sly wink before attempting a left jab at Hinako.

Hinako turns around to watch Yuri sail through the air and then hit the ground rolling. She's watching the other girl carefully and is thus prepared for Yuri to come lunging back in. One thing you definitely need to learn if you're going to be practicing sumo is how to take a hit, so she makes no effort to get out of the way of Yuri's strike.
The blonde does flinch from the impact of Yuri's fist, but not enough to interrupt her own attack, which is launched out just a moment after Yuri's. Shortly after Yuri's fist connects, Hinako's full-armed palm strike is on track to connect with the other girl's torso.

Your opponent will sometimes try to attack just as their attacked to try to make a quick comeback. And Yuri's ready for it as she brings up her fists to deflect the attack away with a shield of her chi. Unfortunately, she's a little too late and gets hit just as she brings up her shield. The Kyokugen girl is knocked backwards a little, but regains her stance.
"Ouch, that smarts," Yuri says, but then adds, "But I got you too!" She gives a quick raspberry.
Hinako's hand gets knocked back as it impacts with the chi shield Yuri summons up. "Ouch!" And then it further impacts with the rest of her, forcing her back a pace. "Well done." She smiles, rubbing at her wrist for a moment. "I'll just have to try harder, then." She frowns in concentration for a moment, apparently thinking of her tactics. Then she nods to herself.
Once more Hinako moves toward Yuri, leading with a palm strike. But this time she doesn't throw her whole body behind it, instead following it up with another strike from her left hand. Then repeating the pattern, before bringing both arms up and bringing her palms swinging down to slam into Yuri and send her crashing into the ground.

With a series of attacks like that, the best thing to do in a situation like this would be try to defend as best as you can. And that's exactly what Yuri does, blocking each attack as best as she can, while trying to keep on her feet. Unfortunately, this still does a big number on her and she finds herself shaking out her arms afterward.
"Not bad, but it's time to show you what I can do!" Yuri comments as she brings her fist back and then sends forwards a thrust of her own... except this one is more like a short-ranged projectile made of her chi!

Hinako frowns for a moment as Yuri winds up for the Ko'ou Ken. Projectiles, her nemesis. She tries to duck under the wave of energy, but unfortunately she's a bit too slow. And ducking doesn't work out that well; it means she ends up getting bowled over. Luckily she manages to retain her hat. After a moment she's able to climb back to her feet and face Yuri once again.
"It must be very convenient to be able to do that. I can't, but I do have something to try... It might not be as good as Mr. Honda, but here goes!" She dashes forward a few paces, and then bodily leaps forward, sending herself flying through the air head-first toward Yuri. She travels in a bit of an arc, though, first going up and then falling in at a downward angle toward her target.

Ducking down may not have worked for Hinako, but it does work for Yuri. She crouches down and watches as Hinako goes flying over her head, and this results in a chuckle from Yuri. "You missed me that time! But do you think I'm gonna miss?"
Yuri takes a deep breath and blows it out, and then says, "Ready or not, here I come!" Before dashing at Hinako and attempting to deliver her own style of the infamous dragon punch.

When Yuri comes charging in, Hinako holds her ground. She brings both hands swinging in toward Yuri's head as the other girl launches her punch. It's not fast enough to avoid getting clipped in the jaw, but she does manage to bring Yuri to a halt and keep her from following through. The two hands clapping together on Yuri's skull probably doesn't feel great, either.
Then Hinako reaches down to get a better grip on Yuri, spins around several times to build up momentum, the finally lets go. Having been released, Yuri is then free to sail across the quad before she finally hits the ground again.
No, it does not feel great, not in the least bit. Yuri goes flying across the area and tumbles across the ground, landing sprawled out on her stomach. One of the officials goes to check on her, and starts to count to ten. But just when they reach five, Yuri pushes herself back up onto her feet. Now bruised and holding her right arm in pain, Yuri glares a little at Hinako.
"Seems I underestimated you, which is really making me angry!" But then she sees a student offering her a sports drink, and she smiles and nods to the student. "Thank you!" She says before gulping the drink down.

A sports drink would be pretty good right about now! Unfortunately, Hinako isn't close enough to the sidelines, and nobody is about to run out onto the field of battle. Even if these are two fighters who probably would at least /try/ to avoid hitting bystanders. It takes Hinako a few moments to get that far, allowing Yuri time to get a few sips in peace. And hopefully time to drop the bottle before Hinako closes in.
Because once she reaches Yuri, Hinako reaches out in an attempt to grab the other girl by the arm. "Well, I don't want anyone to get upset! I'm really sorry!" She says as she attempts to hurl Yuri face first into the lawn.

Yuri finishes her drink and wipes her lips, and then turns to face Hinako again. This time, as Hinako comes at her, Yuri takes a deep breath and begins to summon all of her power. When the time is right, Yuri launches into a powered-up version of her flying uppercut. But as she does it, she gets caught and ends up falling to the ground midway through. Doing a sideways roll, Yuri pushes herself back up.
"I... can't believe that didn't work the way it should've!" Yuri comments to herself, seeming a bit grumpy now.
This time Hinako isn't able to stop Yuri from following through with her attack. The blow lifts her up off her feet and sailing back a short distance before she crashes down on her back. After a moment she gets to her knees and then her feet, brushing grass off of her dress. "It still seems to have worked well. Ouch." She rubs her jaw for a moment.
But the fight isn't over yet! Hinako closes in once more, and once more she goes for the palm strikes. She steps forward, attempting to drive Yuri back under the force of a rapid-fire palm strike assault. Her arms don't quite become a blur, but she's still able to keep up a pretty good pace of attack.

Yuri goes flying onto the ground, and this time she doesn't roll. She falls flat on her face. Still, even as the official starts to count, Yuri gets up just at the count of nine. Weakened and dazed, Yuri pushes herself up and looks at Hinako. "You haven't got me yet!" She says weakly, before attempting to deliver a swift kick to Hinako.

Hinako turns one side toward Yuri as the other girl lashes out with a kick. She ducks down slightly, extending one arm out, then surges upward. She deflects Yuri's foot with her shoulder as she rises, then drives her hand into the other girl's stomach before continuing on upwards to end with blow to the jaw as she stands up to her full height.
She then quickly steps back, attempting to get into a better defensive posture. That's a nice trick, but the pose only really works for a brief moment, and preferably when your opponent is not expecting it.
Yuri's not expecting it in the least bit, and as she takes the last hit, she spins around briefly, dazed and not even sure of what she's doing there or who her opponent is. But then she spots Hinako and, in a desperate last ditch attempt, brings her arms back and attempts to send forth a huge blast of chi. Of course, once she's finished, she'll fall flat on her face!

"Eep!" Hinako sees the huge blast of chi heading her way and quickly attempts to huddle up. She brings her arms up into a defensive posture and ducks down, exposing as little of herself as possible to the blast. It crashes over her, but doesn't manage to shift her from her spot. After a moment she peeks out from behind her arm, and sees that the attack has ended and that Yuri doesn't seem to be getting back up to continue the assault.
