The Fall Of Thailand - Prison Break

Description: Kurow finally hits someone with Kyoujuu Reppa (and ridiculous in general)

Back and forth, back and forth. Kurow has spent more time on planes in the last three weeks than he'd spent in the last three months before that -- always going to and from Thailand, always busy. It's a strange feeling -- working for what Kurow is starting to think is a losing battle. It's something he's never really done before. But, he reminds himself, if he sticks it out and is smart enough to survive to the end of it, he can loot what he wants from the fallen -- and if they turn it around and win, so much the better.

The youth does patrol duty outside the prison, walking back and forth, steps nice and even and nearly symmetrical. Kirishima always had been very good at that sort of thing, after all -- his youth did teach him how to live the regimented life in nearly all respects, even if he occasionally has... lapses therein.

The Kyokugen Dojo has a vested interest in Thailand, and punishing those evildoers who are responsible for twisting the hearts and minds of their students against their will. And it shall not go unpunished while a heart filled with KYOKUGEN MIGHT still beats!

Marco overlooks the Prison, standing completely inconspicuously: A black man with badass sideburns, wearing a white gi, and holding a massive slab of Thai wood that has the Kyokugen symbol punched into it. It was once a whole tree trunk. Marco, like a fine sculptor, punched it into shape until it suited his needs.

Marco narrowed his eyes as he kneeled over to give the Prison one last looking over. How many poor young lasses had these evil Shadowloo cretins kidnapped and brainwashed like poor Akira?

Perhaps Marco should have waited, but this emotion could not be contained!

"AAAAARRRRRRIIIYYYYYAAAAAAAARRRGHHH" Marco cries out as he takes up the massive dojo sign and charges down towards the Prison.

And here Marco is, oh so likely to get a piece of the man responsible. It really is fortuitous -- if Marco can really summon forth the full might of Kyokugenryu Karate, he might be able to extract revenge against the man who took the mind of one student... and threatened the resolve of another. At the very least, Marco's intervention may prove something to the embattled Thailand forces: even one man can try to make a difference.

That resolute, loud roar does not go unnoticed. Kirishima's patrol stops /dead/ as he hears Marco charging, and he looks the enormous Kyokugen fighter in the eyes as he charges. For a second, there is an understanding, at least on his end -- that's the same look he's seen in the eyes of the elder Sakazaki as he attacked him in his dojo, of Akira Kazama as she came out of the Psycho Drive none the worse for wear psychologically and tried her damnedest to extract herself from a terrible situation, of Hotaru Futaba as -- when presented with the depth and breadth of cruelty among humans -- she took action against a fighter she knew was her better.

Let that Kyokugen spirit come, he thinks, taking on his defensive posture. Let the next wave come -- it'll break on the shore like waves so often do.

Marco continues to charge down towards the Prison determined to save the helpless innocents captured by Shadowloo in the name of the Kyokyugen, when he sees the evil agent of Shadowloo standing directly before him and their eyes meet...and recognition immediately passes between them like a bolt of energy. No words are needed as Marco leaps forward and brings the Kyokugen Sign to bare.

LET IT SPEAK FOR ITSELF!

Marco swings this sign. At Kurow's chest with every intention of imprinting the kanji that reads:

EXTREME
KYOKUGEN
MIGHT.

Straight into Kurow's chest.

COMBATSYS: Kurow dodges Marco's Random Weapon.

Extreme Kyokugen Might does not always have Extreme Kyokugen Accuracy. Kirishima likewise leaps up, putting his feet right on the tip of the sign, and /launches off/, landing just behind Marco. Risky, yes -- but successful, indeed. "You must be another one of those Kyokugen fighters," Kurow says, with a bit of a smirk. "So, I suppose I may as well skip the pretenses -- which /particular/ situation brought you here?" At least he's direct and to the point.

Turning toward Rodriguez, Kurow slides forward and tries to sink the claws on his right hand directly into his chest; if he catches him with that, he'll twist and strike out with the other set, knocking Marco to the ground and giving a few nasty claw wounds for his trouble. It's a nice, simple, calculated technique, though Kurow isn't fully sure how effective it'll be -- Marco definitely looks like the type that can take a few (dozen) punches.

COMBATSYS: Marco fails to interrupt Double Slash from Kurow with Jab Punch.

Marco grunts as the dodgy little monkey dances and prances around the sign rather with that sissy fancy footwork like those guys from home liked to do. That girly junk Capoeira.

"Yes! Fiend, you'll pay for what you did to Akira. Now take it like a man!" Marco bellows as Kurow dances around behind him, the Kyokugen Fighter turns to meet Kurow's attack with his own fist attempting to punch Kurow out of his forward momentum until...

Marco is knocked backward as claws cut into his chest and throw him to the ground. Damn it! Marco growls as he begins to push himself up knowing he won't get up in time.

Kirishima withdraws briefly once he gets Marco flat on the ground, smirking a little at his opponent. "So disappointed when a student is led to a conclusion that isn't yours, aren't you." Never mind the duplicity in how she was led to it. Never mind the experiments with Psycho Power, never mind the theft of choice from her.

It's something he's noticed is true of every martial artist -- they're so protective of those of the same school. It's just a tool -- yet people give so much control over their emotions to people who happen to use the same one. "Give me something that isn't impossibly telegraphed to try and 'take,'" Kirishima chides, lifting a leg up and then slamming it down toward the fallen Marco's head quickly, "and maybe I'll try!"

COMBATSYS: Kurow successfully hits Marco with Light Kick.

As Marco pushes himself up Kurow's boot comes down and crashes down striking him in the back of the head. Throwing him back to the ground once again, but Marco twists and uses the momentum to roll himself backward onto his feet.

"Hmph. So your one of those homosexuals," Marco says as he stands, bleeding, clenching his fists and taking a wide, low fighting stance. "Like to make yourself sound smart, do ballet, be a pain in the ass and...think you're all that!"

Marco counter-sasses, launching himself into a rising knee aiming to knock the pansy sassafrass into the air and then BOOT his peacock ass back down to the ground.

COMBATSYS: Marco successfully hits Kurow with Hien Shippu Kyaku.
Glancing Blow

Kurow has no idea how the hell Marco got from point A to point B on that one. But then, he reminds himself, he's never understood the kinds of people who are willing to take punch after punch in the name of... taking more punches. So stunned is he, in fact, that he can't even quite bring himself to move at first -- he's caught by the knee in the gut before he gets the good sense to roll back, carrying himself out of the way of the brunt of the attack.

He sees the shining moment of opportunity, though, when he sees Marco's leg come down. Kirishima tries to catch that leg as it comes down, giving it a solid wrench and toss to the ground if he's successful, adding, "I think you're mistaken." ... at the very least, there are a few girls out there who would most certainly /hope/ the burly fighter is mistaken.

COMBATSYS: Marco endures Kurow's Quick Throw.

Marco gets to point A to point B the exact same way he is willing to take punches in the name of taking more punches...KYOKUGEN MIGHT!

Marco's modified Hien Shippu Kyaku catches Kurow in the gut and as he throws down the finisher kick he 'Huh?'s as Kurow catches his foot, and due to some contrivance of gravity and fate Marco hovers midair as Kurow speaks as he weedles his girly hands all across his calf and then the inside of his thigh.

"Says the girly-man who's feeling me up," before he is SLAMMED into the ground...

Or is he?

Marco's elbows and back crash into the ground fully tensed as the Kyokugenryu instructor fully tenses and maintains his focus. He gets to his feet and glares at Kurow.

"And now, you're here to taste your judgement." Marco fists clench even tighter before he launches forward. If Kurow wants Telegraphed? Well, Marco is going to give him telegraphed movements as MIGHTY SPEEDS that is simply a living monument to KYOKUGEN MIGHT as he launches into a vicious flurry of punches and kicks that finally ends in a. "KOHOU!"

Oh yeah, Ryuuko Ranbu, baby!

COMBATSYS: Kurow parries Marco's Ryuuko Ranbu!

Marco            0/-------/------=|====---\-------\0            Kurow

The instructor comes in toward Kurow -- if he wants to see how Kurow deals with strikes, so be it. It's just as he thought before -- let him come, let him crash like waves on the shore.

At first, his instinct is to just take it, try to mitigate the blows by throwing up his arms and letting it wash over him. However, split second instincts tell him that the first punch is something he can handle. Extending his claws with the power of his chi, he looks that punch square-on... and swats it away with the blunt side of the glove.

Marco keeps coming. He will not be denied -- and yet, somehow, Kurow denies him. He denies him over and over. Every punch and kick that comes in gets caught or deflected, as Kurow works up to a blinding, inhuman speed. As the series of strikes starts to come to a close, Kurow starts to punctuate each deflection with a word. "I --" wumph, as a punch is caught, "defy --" wumph, as a kick gets deflected just out of the way, "your --" wumph, as a punch gets slapped to one side with Kirishima's forearm, "JUDGMENT!" Here Kurow rears back from the Kohou, narrowly avoiding the nasty uppercut.

And as Marco lands... well, the leader of the Darkside Student Congress is ready. "The only thing that matters in this world is strength... and you are found sorely lacking," he declares, as he rams a shoulder into Marco's legs with a low shoulder tackle, ideally bowling him over his back... and as he keeps on running full-bore, Marco may end up dragged along behind him by a series of whirling chi claw-marks that trail the youth.

COMBATSYS: Marco fails to counter Kirishima Kyoujuu Reppa EX from Kurow with Joudan Harai.

Marco            0/-------/=======|=------\-------\0            Kurow

Marco may never really be able to explain what happened just now. When he thought about this, he did everything absolutely right. He kept his focus he made the right moves but somehow this display of proper KYOKUGEN MIGHT just wasn't enough and fairy pants here defeated him.

Marco lands from his Ryuuko Ranbuu with a sheer look of disbelief upon his brow. How could this be? That was Master Ryo's ultimate technique!

Then as the dark ninja comes toward him, Marco bellows and drops his shoulder and charges forward with the intention to UPPERCUT Kurow out of his pansy ballet manicure attack but...EVEN THIS FAILED as he is tackled to the ground as chi claws rack his body.

Marco stares wide eyed into the sky...barely even breathing as he contemplates what just happened here.

Looking down at the fallen Kyokugenryu fighter, spent and beaten after what has seemed to be such a short fight, Kurow lets out a small, chuckle-like "Hmph." He doesn't give him much of an opportunity to do anything about his untenable situation, though -- Kirishima is not a man that lets up, especially when he's doing something like guard duty.

"Take a message back to Sakazaki," he says, unclear just which Sakazaki he means (Yuri?!) by this, but any would probably do in a pinch. "Tell him that if he wants to have students to train, he should, perhaps, teach them not to run off to face death so readily." He does want this message taken back, though -- which means that he does Marco the 'favor' of accelerating his escape. How does he do this, one might ask? Why, the same way bartenders accelerate the departure of patrons who cannot pay -- with a hard toss back away!

... and without a sign, to boot.

COMBATSYS: Kurow successfully hits Marco with Medium Throw.

Marco hears this message, Kurow should suppose, but it seems that even Marco Rodriguez can get messed up in a fight. It's not that he's unwilling to fight back, he just can't!

Marco is tossed away like so much rubbish. Without his sign to boot!

You griefer!

That, Kurow thinks, is that -- and as such, he simply picks up the Kyokugen dojo sign that Marco cherishes so much, does an about-face, and... walks right into the prison camp again, smirking all the while. He does so enjoy getting trophies out of fights -- especially ones as... brutal as the one with Rodriguez.

He is most assuredly a griefer.

COMBATSYS: Marco takes no action.
