Metro City Under Siege - Assassin Attempt on Jiro

Description: Jiro has been a huge thorn on Rolento's rear end, being the most unlikely person to lead the Resistance against Rolento, striking all of his supplies and everything. However, it's payback time as Rolento dispatches El Gado to take care of the Stray Dog. This is after Jiro manages to get all of the Resistance members who dwelled in the subway to move out.

Darkness. It is what makes the subway a good place for the Resistance to hold their base. Or rather it -was-. With the recent events coming along, the resistance are able to finally come out of hiding within the subway, and this leaves for the surroundings to be nearly empty.
Hours passed by since the resistance begun moving out. Jiro had been overseeing the leave. But because of the fact that the entire resistance have made it out safely, Jiro decided that it's time for him to leave.
Finally emerging from the total darkness to the more flickering lights of the sidetrack, the Stray Dog is busy walking along the path. Trenchcoat, black cargo pants, and a red scarf. The young man is without his leather straps for gloves, and he's working on traveling towards the surface, but he's not quite there yet.
"Thank god everyone's gone from here..." He grumbles.

However, unknown to the hapless Stray Dog, he has been observed for a rather long stretch of time. Rolento reached his limit. Pressing himself beyond the limit in three days of sustained combat is too much for even a superhuman man such as himself to endure. But the order was given. This is no longer going to be a simple conquer. The city is fractioned. Civilians themselves are starting to want Rolento to leave. Public support for an invasion is rising. What does El Gado have to do? It's simple. Remove the head from the beast, and it will die.
The mundane chief operatives are being left to Nassir, under El Gado's own orders. He has not forgotten about his personal recruit, even if he never shows any apparent interest in his Arabian comrade. That will be taken care of on another day. As it lies? Jiro himself is El Gado's goal.
And he will likely not expect the smooth, accented tones to reverberate forebodingly in response. "Thank Allah indeed... I am blessed to find you alone..." It would sound something like Nassir, only much deeper, with a rugged edge and more practice. Where it came from would be literally impossible to tell. Any glancing around would not pinpoint the assassin, although now that sense of being watched would creep over Jiro.

Hapless, they say. So the Stray Dog is the chosen one to be hunted down like a wild animal for the poachers. It is amusing how the Stray Dog has been a thorn to Rolento's side and even a leader figure. This is very amusing indeed. Not something that Jiro wants to make a habit of.
Mostly because of stuff like this occuring.
A voice is calling out for the Stray Dog, who seems to be blessed that he's here all alone. "Not Nassir. Similar, older." The young boy growls under his breath, clenching his fists together. He grits his teeth, drawing forth the purple chi to erupt along his hands as flames. With the violet flames erupting, the young man turns his head to look around the darkness.
"Bring it. Bitch."
Given he doesn't know where the figure is at, he'll just have to keep an eye out.

"Ah. You know Nassir Mahomet...?" There is at best a vague curiosity in this, but not with any true care. "I am the one who invited him to the Shank Squad. You may call me El Gado. The second in command. Personal assassin of Commander Schugerg." Including those within the ranks who have outlived their usefulness. The flitting flames actually cause a laugh to leave the man's lips. A dark, cold one that echoes in the subway tunnels.
Then nothing more. Quiet follows, for many heartbeats. Ten. Twenty.
And then out of nowhere, the sound of metal sizzling through the air. A rather obscenely wide barbed knife screams through the air, aiming to impact Jiro in the right shoulder with enough force to smack him into the wall behind.
And looking towards the direction, El Gado's shape can be seen. A thin individual, but significantly taller then Nassir. He wears the same uniform, tan with a red beret. It could little be told that such represents an Elite Colonels -- of which there are only two.
It looks like Jiro has managed to get a personal visit from the head of Special Forces. Hooray?

COMBATSYS: Rolento has joined the fight here.

"El Gado... Noted. I'll remember the name of the bitch that I'll punk then." The Stray Dog is quickly drawing his eyes over towards the sudden barbed knife twirling his way. The Stray Dog is prepared to shift towards the side...
...Until the knife jabs itself straight against the shoulder, piercing through the skin and having him clung to the wall. This draws for the eyes to widen as the Stray Dog releases a hiss and a scream. Leaning his face forward to the wall, the young man growls.
"You're... ****ing.... dead..." First off, he reaches for the knife and yanks it off. He's drawing the chi to cover his wound, burning it to dry off. That's the good thing about manipulating the flames. It helps clot the bleeding.
Nevertheless, the Stray Dog growls, swinging both arms down as he starts to sprint towards El Gado. With both hands forming into chi-katars, the young man lunges forward, sweeping his right arm and then his left arm at El Gado's chest. The violet chi-blades are aiming to give the man a nice cut.

COMBATSYS: Rolento endures Jiro's Odious Fang.

There is absolutely no attempt to evade the assault. El Gado actually spreads his arms wide, in a snap of motion seeming to manifest a pair of additional blades that are twirled a single time during the man's journey forwards. From such a reaction, it seems obvious that he could of done a proper defense, were the assassin inclined. Each strike rakes a jagged red line over El Gado's chest, but seem to only ripple over corded muscle instead of the more solid tear that Jiro might be anticipating. Given the sigh afterwards, almost in disappointment, the fact this opponent is anything but mundane will be realized. He is far from a mere minion.
Twirling about one of the knives, in an almost dance-like movement El Gado smoothly flows forward. One slash is aimed for the opposite shoulder, a second aimed for the side of the knee as he whirls around and suddenly places himself behind the younger boy. Boy; That is all he is. Over half El Gado's age. He mastered the art of murder long before Jiro ever came into this world.

COMBATSYS: Jiro counters Heavy Strike from Rolento with Backlash.

Although the Stray Dog is severely injured from the heavy stab wound, the plus side is that the young boy has a new knife. It's his now, bitch.
But either way, when the man absorbs the damage and gives a disappointing look, the Stray Dog immediately hisses angrily towards the taller man who seems to be ready to come at him with his own slashes.
When the first slash comes towards the Stray Dog, the youth immediately tucks his head over to the side to flow away from his first stab. Then, the second arm is grasped as the youth pivots his hips.
The arm is his as well, now.
This leaves Jiro to the point of swinging the older man around repeatedly with a Giant Swing. It goes on about three times, until the Stray Dog lifts the man over into the air hanging upside down.
...Then... Jiro thrusts his body down, slamming El Gado on his head, then he gives him a punt to the stomch before taking a few steps back.

This does indeed catch El Gado off-guard, and with a twirl he finds himself within the air. Deposited upon his head, it's with a less hearty thud then one might desire. The kick barely knocks him to his side, and there's no hesitation as the assassin gathers himself to his feet, slow and languid movements as if he is truly in no hurry whatsoever. Slapping his stomach, tattered uniform barely visible within the scarce light, there's finally a mild nod. "Better." He then sheathes both of his knives on either hip, before... unslotting one from his belt buckle, barely an inch-long wedge. "I will use this. I apologize, but I do not have a smaller blade..."

COMBATSYS: Rolento focuses on his next action.

When El Gado is getting back up to his feet, Jiro is actually waiting for the man to start coming at him with his own strike. Jiro is hoping that the man is coming to attack him. But whe he starts to pull out a wedge, the young teenager gives off a grunt, then he shrugs lightly.
"...Eh." He crouches low, looking like he's ready to charge.
He extends a hand out, motioning for the man to come after him.
Bring it.

The movement forward is blindingly fast. El Gado is there in a fraction of a moment, the hand with the wedge going flaccid. The motion is impossible to fortell... Even if one were able to react to the Arabian assassin's movements. Whirling around in a vicious backhand, he strikes out towards Jiro's face, attempting to rake the miniscule blade over the Stray Dog's eye. It's with pinpoint precision, and he's by no accounts pulling back the possibility of injuring said organ. Already he slithers to the side after this assault is done, truly seeming more like a serpant then anything else.

COMBATSYS: Jiro blocks Rolento's Weapon Jab.

Jiro told him to bring it, and the larger man is about to bring forth the stabbing towards the youth's direction. Only... at his eye. Given that Jiro likes to be able to see, he immediately turns his head away from the weapon trying to stab him, so he instead lifts a hand up to help him with avoiding the loss of the said eye. Unfortunately, this causes him a piece of flesh to be sliced against, only receiving a mere cut.
A growl is given, then he is sprinting straight towards El Gado. With both of his fists drawn downward to where he can concentrate the chi to form in his hands. They compose into an orb encasing the hands. Then, the Stray Dog lunges forward, drawing the fist out invertedly to strike against El Gado's stomach. The contact with the fist will result in an explosion to send him across the hall.

COMBATSYS: Rolento fails to interrupt Exploder Knuckle from Jiro with Medium Strike.

There was a snap forward as Jiro attempted to sink the weapon into the assassin. It's obvious that it would of been painful -- and it's seemingly only absolute luck that the attempt failed. Jiro's hand impacts his side, where it would not hurt in the slightest. If there wasn't a horrific explosion immediately following. El Gado is sent stumbling away, blade missing cleanly and hand slapping out to catch the wall. Teeth grit, but then slowly turns into a smile. A laugh follows, the assassin spinning rapidly and looking at Jiro with a morbid, sadistic manner that Rolento himself lacks. "Ahhhh..." His side is gingerly rubbed, neck cricking to either side. "Better."

This is where the Stray Dog lets the man fly far. As for the knife striking at the wall? Well, Jiro immediately walks towards the wall, then he takes the wedge and pockets that one. Jiro has a new weapon to use. He'll be giving it back to El Gado in a more painful manner. The young man grunts, then he snorts while crouching low.
"I suppose Rolento hates my guts so bad, hrm?" He shrugs, "Eh, you'll be joining the rest of Mad Gear and there people in the slammer, after I punk your ass." He crouches low yet again, ready for anything.

"It is amusing that you of all people best lead the rebellion. Outfitted the rebellion. They are the thorn; And you are merely one minor step in their removal." The wedge is twirled around a few times, before El Gado snaps forward once more. He comes down almost impossibly low, before striking up in an abrupt thrust. The wedge is aimed for the already injured shoulder, and if it impacts there will be a horrific twist done for good measure. The knife might be small, but the jagged edges are not comfortable when utilized in such a manner.

COMBATSYS: Jiro counters Weapon Jab from Rolento with Public Execution.

The Stray Dog is, quite frankly, indifferent towards El Gado's words. "Eh..." He grumbles, drawing his hands out into a fighting stance, and he looks ready to strike towards anything coming his way. He starts to move his body around, gaining some momentum in his own self as he is watching the motions of the Arabian as he is striking low.
When he attempts to lift upward towards the injured shoulder, the Stray Dog immediately releases an outward crescent kick with his left foot, then he comes forward with a right round house kick towards El Gado's face, then a left hook kick to the back of the head, then a right inward crescent kick. From there, the Stray Dog immediately performs a cartwheel kick upward to knock the assassin into the air. "PUBLIC!"
He lifts into the air, driving his right foot out, then he aims to draw the foot straight into El Gado's head, sending him towards the ground with a heavy thud. "EXECUTION!"
Afterwards, Jiro gives a thumbs down. "Bitch."

Each impact hits El Gado squarely. He is soundly stunned, and it is his present endurance that allows the full onslaught to be thusly done. The final one smacks him into the concrete, hard enough to crack it. The wedge bounces away, clattering to the ground. It is a few seconds before El Gado shifts, slowly pressing his hands against the ground and getting up. He's bleeding openly about the face now, apparently not amused much by the present hijinx. It's obvious now that the other's actions have not been simply shrugged off. And thusly, he simply leaps backwards. Reaching into his jacket, he pulls out a good six knives. These are fanned out, as if to show Jiro exactly what was about to happen.
And then, El Gado hurls them. One towards a shoulder. One towards another shoulder. One towards a knee. One towards another knee. And a final one towards each elbow. The knives are slender and exceptionally sharp, intended for such pinpoint displays. It's obvious he has decided to cut the middle man and simply finish his battle...

The Stray Dog takes several steps back from El Gado, snorting at his form as he is looking quite pissed off. "Not so cocky now, are you, asshole?" He sneers, then he growls as he sees the man pulling out six knives. His eyes widen as he is attempting to protect himself from the incoming blades from striking at his form. "Damnit... Too many of them...."
The defenses are all for zilch as the Stray Dog is instead given the strike towards the shoulder. This in turn causes the Stray Dog to hiss in pain. The other strikes the sealed shoulder, drawing blood to fly every where. His trenchcoat, needless to say, is looking quite screwed up. The blade homes in at the knee, along with its sister. Then, the last one is striking towards Jiro's elbow.
It hurts so damn much. He is hissing in pain as he's clutching onto himself. Trying to keep his composure, the Stray Dog glares at El Gado. "...Alright..." He doesn't bother removing the blades this time. He is going to smash the guy to the ground.
Jiro is charging straight towards El Gado, bringing his right fist back, then he is winding forward to slam it into the man's stomach.
It doesn't look like that he plans to stop there.

While having El Gado in his grasps, the Stray Dog is lunging forward towards the man, drawing his right arm over towards the man's stomach. It doesn't quite stop there, as Jiro is aiming to send the fist striking at the man's face. Then, Jiro aims for the stomach, then the face, then back to the stomach, only with a powerful elbow strike.
Not allowing El Gado to leave his grasps, the Stray Dog lifts the elbow up, grasping towards the throat of the man. "....Take this to Rolento, f***er. SEI!" He draws his left fist back, crouching low into a powerful horse stance. Then, Jiro growls, slamming the fist at El Gado's stomach, "DO!" He aims to send the taller man flying back really far.

This is a somewhat humiliating turn of events, but El Gado definitely underestimated Jiro. Rolento's reports said he would crumple like a piece of paper with a few blows. Actually that was accurate, given Jiro has only been hit twice, but it seems giving the other opportunity to utilize his raw strength was unwise. Sent flying backwards, the assassin still manages to yank out a slender blade and hurl it, crashing into the wall a moment later and sliding down. The aim is to hit Jiro right in the neck. Needless to say, it would end the fight at least on his end. "...Nnngh."

COMBATSYS: Rolento successfully hits Jiro with Thrown Object.

Unfortunately, the young boy is trying to rush into the incoming blow, hoping to capture it and send it towards his stomach. But unfortunately, the Stray Dog is given a powerful strike towards the neck by the slender blade. "Egghn....!" His eyes widen as he starts to gargle blood.
He crouches low, drawing his own knife, glaring at El Gado. This leaves for the Stray Dog to collapse to the ground, but not without unsheathing one of the kunais given to him by Duo Lon. ...Well, not given. Jiro jacked it. But either way, Jiro is aiming to have the kunai stabbed right into the man's eye.
And Jiro collapses, holding onto his neck.

COMBATSYS: Jiro can no longer fight.

The response is brutally simple. El Gado snaps up his hand, and catches the incoming kunai in a firm grasp. A single trail of crimson slithers down, before it's almost hurled aside. Almost. The Arabian suddenly looks at the weapon, turning it in the light shimmer of the lamp. "...And where did you get this?" Limping rather heavily towards the Stray Dog, the Arabian assassin glares ferociously, before stamping his right heel on the ground. A slender blade pops out the toe of his boot, before with a ripple of speed he attempts to kick Jiro within the face and send him crashing upon his back. He stumbles after the effort, palm again catching the wall, breath coming out heavily.

The Stray Dog growls while he is clutching onto his neck, "...I ....took it from bitches... like you..." He ughs, taking the knife out, but he's busy clutching onto his throat now using the flames to cloat the bleeding until he's kicked to the face. "UGH!" He's crashing onto his back, then he falls unconscious.

If this ended with Jiro being unconscious, it would only be another beating. No. This is a message. Rolento stated quite clearly that he is no longer going to have a clean war. His brutal tactics are... exactly like they sound. Jiro is dragged along the sewer, and further up to the street proper through a maintenance door, easily kicked open. Up to the street level. And then the Stray Dog is slammed, back first, into a concrete building. The six knives still remain imbedded, but it seems two more are going to be added. One hand is pressed to the concrete. One knife is driven through the wrist, as large as the initial one. And hard enough to splinter into the concrete. The other wrist is similarly done, end result being Jiro now dangling in an obscene manner from a store front. The final touch, of course, is simply slashing the shirt open, and carving two letters into the boy's chest. 'S. S.' Complete with punctuation. With a departing backhand to the temple that's hard enough to insure Jiro will probably not wake up anytime soon -- let alone get back into the fight -- he's left there to be found. And for now, it is only the start. These rebels are going to be dealt with... In a manner that will show the world exactly who they are dealing with.
