Metro City Under Siege - The Metro Bridge Offensive

Description: Sakura and Shingo make a daring assault on Geese Howard in an attempt to reclaim part of besieged Metro City. And for a while, the two youngsters almost had a chance!

Geese enjoyed a very nice rest at a Presidential Suite in one of Metro's finest hotels, and now he's ready to make good on his deal with Rolento. Metro Bridge has for the time being become Geese Bridge, with only a small contigent of Rolento's troops and vehicles set up here. They're arranged as a roadblock on the end of the bridge leading to the downtown area, a few miles away from the ongoing siege at city hall. The first line of defense from this direction, one might say.

On the middle of the bridge, would be the 'Command Vehicle' for this front. A black limo, license plate GEESE, sits parked in one of the lanes. Its driver and passenger are, simply put, relaxing. The air conditioner's on to take the edge off the summer afternoon heat, and they're treating themselves to a nice bottle of wine. It's more friendly and accomodating than Geese usually is towards his drivers, but today he's in a great mood. He's having fun with this little military escapade. If anything comes up, he's sure he'll notice it through the windshield or one of the soldiers will let him know.

At the end of the bridge away from city hall, there's...essentially nothing. Two troops with rifles as a very basic checkpoint. It's probably not what Rolento wanted, but Geese did not care. This was his show, and in his mind, these troops are mere decorations -- useless decoys. Anyone coming up from that direction should be able to casually deal with what's there. It's what lies beyond that's worth noting.

Cocky much? Sakura never really thought herself as a military operative, but there's plenty of ways to get things done in a city ruled by martial law. Such as... acquisition of enemy weapons systems. This was done a few city blocks back - just walked up to one of the roving patrols and delivered a Tae Kwon Boot To The Head as incentive to abandon the bike. The strategy seemed to be effective, and the temporarily blonde Sakura Kasugano got a kickass helmet, gloves, and flak vest out of the deal in the process. Mounting the bike, with Shingo riding shotgun, the defiant duo took off for parts unknown...
Well, if 'parts unknown' happened to be City Hall. And the bridge immediately before it. Two guards? Oh heck, no trouble for an motorcycle with a big bullet-resistant windshield, right? Sakura ducks low as she approaches at heinous speeds. She'd never been behind the wheel of one before, but hey, she's driven Kei's Vespa around -- she learns quick! Jerking her head towards the guard on the left as a signal to her passenger, Lt.Kasugano -- see the stripes? -- aims for that guard. But her right hand leaves the handlebars, palm outstretched towards the guard on her right. "Haaaaa...." A brilliant burst of blue flame appears from her hand, shooting out towards the guard like a minature rocket. It's only a small deal, but it ought to be enough to *ping* the guard right in the facemask, sending him flying over backwards, should it hit! And by this point, she should be close enough to the left guard for Shingo to take care of him.
Of course... if that wasn't enough to get the attention of Geese Howard, what =is?=

There are two perfectly good reasons as to why Shingo is the one riding 'shotgun' as it were on the motorcycle while his girlfriend is doing all the driving. Those reasons have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he is able to cop a feel from behind on the schoolgirl. No. In actuality the main reason is because it was her idea and he wasn't about to go debating it with her. That and for the second reason. He has no clue in the slightest on how to correctly ride a motorcycle by himself. Much less with a passenger. It only made sense for the short girl to do it.

Similar how it makes really no sense for him to wear a disguise. Those Kusanagi-type gloves he always wears tend to be a dead giveaway that it is indeed Shingo there. That and as he noted in the past, he also has the annoying tendency to shout out the name of his best technique whenever performing it. Nonetheless, for the same reason why Sakura dyed her hair as her disguise yet is still going around throwing out hadoukens (albeit she is doing it DBZ style with one hand), Shingo is wearing a bandana tied snugly around his head with a pair of dark sunglasses on and a bulletproof vest over a white tee. Or something to that effect. Taking that as his cue, Shingo dives off the bike best he can without screwing up the balance of it too much with a jump kick to the face of the guard. More than likely crushing and breaking either his face or the face guard of his helmet. Or both.

Pow! Smack! The soldiers had opened fire, but Sakura's belief was right; a basic ballistic screen on the front of the motorcycle was enough to deal with just a few shots, which is all they have time to get off. Sakura's blast nails one soldier, and...guess who was TOTALLY not expecting Shingo to jump off the bike and into him? The second soldier. That's two down, though one of them manages a dazed report on his radio...and that gets passed on to Geese. Right in the middle of a good drink, too! He opens up the passenger side door, and is dressed to fight this evening, sticking to his hakama and gi-shirt.

And there they come now. "Heh heh. At least they're doing something interesting," Geese quips to himself. Shingo's dismounted, but he'd like to get Sakura down too. With an underhand pitching motion and a yell of "Reppuken!", he sends a blue crescent-wave of chi down the road, towards her hijacked motorcycle... and then just strolls down the road towards them, regardless of the outcome. "Seems his intelligence was right. You've been expected." Smirk.

Reppu-- oh, HEY! Who let Geese Howard park there? Sakura spots the license plate just before she catches sight of the man exiting the car -- and it's a good thing, too, since she then has enough time to do something about that Reppuken streaking towards her motorcycle. "Aw, crap!" she exclaims, as she realizes she has no idea how to cut her bike out of the way of something moving -that- fast. So she just crouches on the seat as she waits for impact.
Even a bike speeding at 40-50 mph isn't going to withstand a Reppuken head-on, though -- and as soon as the vehicle hits it, it's knocked backwards sharply. Sakura's ready for this, though, and leaps off of the soon-to-be-totalled bike, flying straight ahead with full momentum! "WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!" And just what does she plan to do with all that momentum? Why... use it to catapult herself right past Geese, bouncing past on the hood of the limo if she's given a chance! What kinda fool takes on Geese Howard head-on, anyway? Not Sakura, that's for sure! But just in case, she turns around to face Geese with a bright, enthusiastic grin. That gigantic slingshot effect sure gave her the biggest rush! "Hi! Long time no see, Mr. Howard!" Who -was- that helmeted schoolgirl?
Oh snap, is she leaving Shingo behind? Well, maybe she has those other soldiers and drivers to deal with first -- pow! Bang! More boots to the head, schoolgirl style!

COMBATSYS: Sakura gathers her will.

Oh yeah. Shingo's doing just dandy by himself taking care of any soldiers that would rather continue firing at the girl on the bike rather than worry about the kid that dismounted and is pummeling away at their faces and breaking their toys into itty bitty little pieces with well placed kicks and fists. He could do this all day. Probably would too if 'Reppuken' didn't suddenly get shouted out followed by the sound of a motorcycle impacting against something at speeds faster than any human can run before impacting againt the ground with a loud explosion. Fortunately taking out anyone stupid enough not to move quick enough. Shingo wasn't one of those stupid enough.

For a split-second he's worried about his partner-in-justice. Only to see her reasonably safe ontop of the car. Well, as safe as one can get facing down Geese Howard by themselves. Many thoughts race though the boy's head. The most prominent being 'What the heck is Mister Howard doing here?! And helping out these guys?!'. The answers can come later. First he's got to help out Sakura. But what can he do? Oh! How about use one of these guard-type military personal that is unconscious in his grip? Oops. Did Shingo forget to let go of the guy's shirt after bashing his face in? Oh well. He kicks a fallen helmet with much force straight at Geese's head, "Heads up!"

Much force indeed. Geese looks to be nearly sandwiched here, with Sakura trying to go on ahead and Shingo kicking things at him. Geese's back is turned as the helmet comes in, but he's aware of it. He does nothing about it, just letting it strike him in the back of the head. It's making him a little angry; an anger he projects into his attack towards Sakura. "Double Reppuken!" Arms swinging upward, he creates a large chi-crescent, then makes it even bigger, and then it zips down the highway towards Sakura. Collateral damage is really not his concern; if he busts up a tank or humvee in the event Sakura evades this, watch him not give a damn. "Driver! Get this thing turned around!" If Sakura keeps going, he might have to pursue...and that's best done with a limo, instead of one's feet. The limo begins to move and turn around to get ready to do just that.

No such luck on that evasion -- Sakura doesn't even -try- to get out of the way here. Heck, Geese is probably the only one here who could recognize the signature fireball move, or the chaotic kicking and punching she falls back onto when Ryu's training takes a backseat. But luckily -- the second Double Reppuken to strike is enough of a wakeup call for the schoolgirl, who drops to one knee and rams her shoulder into it. "Gnnh!" she shouts as the wave crashes into her guard -- the armor helps, but not as much as one would hope. Reppukens hurt, after all!
The schoogirl's quick to spring back to her feet, though, grinning broadly through the reflective helmet -- as if anyone can see her -- as she turns back towards Geese. She points her finger at him -- and then crushes her hand! Oh, is that a sign of things to come? We'll soon find out!
It should be pretty obvious to place the signature attack at this point, if not before -- for Sakura brings both hands close to her side, a swirling orb of energy growing in size. She shouts, "Come on, let's MOVE!" to her compadre on the other side, before loosing the meter-wide projectile at Geese with a shout. "HADOOOOUKEN!"

He couldn't have said it better himself. A quick nod is given to the helmeted Sakura and Shingo finally makes use of the limp body in his hand. He grabs a hold of the man's shirt with his other hand and then suddenly with all the strength he has hefts the armored guard as best as he can manage at Geese's back again. The corrupt businessman was so kind to stand there and take the helmet, so maybe he'll be so generous as to allow himself to get struck by the unconscious soldier. And in Shingo's little world, hey, it could happen.

That took some effort on his part. So give him like a second to catch up. Though, the way he's eyeing one of the jeeps...he might just have another idea in store.

"Akira Kazama?" Geese guesses as the helmeted biker makes a threat. He's proven wrong a second later, he knows that cry of 'Hadouken!', and simply throws up his arms, ready to weather it harmlessly. Not even bracing for impact; he's expecting it to do nothing against his guard. But then Shingo's throwing...people at him. What the hell? He sees that in the corner of his eye, and it's just weird enough to throw him off-guard; he turns halfway to get a better look, momentarily forgetting the Hadouken. It's a moment that's enough for it to strike him in the side and drive him back a few steps. But now that he knows who's who, his focus changes.

"You two shouldn't have come here, but I'll have fun with you all the same." Geese charges at Shingo, trying to grab low at his ankles and lift him up by the feet, then bring him up and smash him onto the road. Brutal, plain, and utterly lacking in style.

"Shouldn't have come here? People's lives are on the line! Besides, what are you doing here, Mr.Howard?" It ought to be pretty obvious -now- who's facing him -- not many fighters give a punch quite like the Hadouken, after all. So she really has no problem talking freely. "Working for a creep like Rolento just doesn't seem like your style!"
In the meantime, Sakura's creeping close, waiting for an opening. But right now, with Shingo so close, she doesn't want to risk anything, and as such, keeps her eyes focused on the big man himself.

COMBATSYS: Sakura focuses on her next action.

Aw crap. He should've moved faster. So much faster that he would've started moving before Sakura said anything. That would've been in his better interest. But noooo. He waited too long. Now he has one of the most dangerous fighters in the world bearing down him. Now. Geese is a large man. It's difficult -not- to see him coming. It's like saying you didn't see that car that was idling right in front of your eyes before it backed out and hit you. Yet. That's essentially what happened to Shingo. See the plan was as Geese came at his ankles, Shingo would bring his elbow down on the man's back, and then a knee to his jaw as he stumbled out of the way. It was working fine until the elbow part. The strike missing any soft tissue areas and instead contacting with hard muscle. Like the proverbial goggles, it does nothing. Nothing except set Shingo up for the hardest slam into the ground he has ever felt in his life. The wind literally evacuating from his lungs due to the force at which he is smashed onto the road. He would cry out in pain. But that would require actually being able to breathe. A deep long gasp is heard as he struggles to fill up with air once more.

"Ha!" Geese laughs off Shingo's attempt to elbow him. It hit, but it did not hurt, and he easily got his grab-and-slam in. With Shingo stunned, he has a second to look off at Sakura and laugh again. "Work for? No, no. This is an alliance, and I have my own benefits to gain from it. Perhaps I can find a use for you two once I win." He's positive victory will be his, and then he's looking down at Shingo once more. "Double," Arm-swing, a 'blade' of chi forms this time, "Reppuken!" Other arm swings, a second blade comes out. Not a ranged attack, just an up-close pair of chi slices.

"Tch... sure! Don't see what the point of marital law is!" That's right, she said 'marital', not 'martial,' not really caring to figure it out at the moment. "But whatever floats your boat!" she cries, bringing her hands once more to her side. Nodding slowly at Geese as hundreds of tiny motes of light swarm into the space between her palms, Sakura focuses tightly upon her opponent. Her only goal at this point is taking down Geese -- the rest of the military surrounding the bridge should be no match for the two young fighters if they win! Especially not if they have a pimpin' command limo at their beck and call. But...
... oh yeah. That big ball of hurt. "HADOOOOUKEN!" shouts Sakura, the helmet adding extra reverb as her hands thrust forward, sending her payload barreling out towards the natural blonde.

Thank you Sakura! Geese turning away from Shingo to have that brief exchance with the schoolgirl was all the boy needed to get back into the fight. Not fully, mind. But at least he's able to feel the fresh and wonderful oxygen filling his lungs easily. As Geese turns back to face him, he already has his arms up to shield the most of the energy attack. His arms absorbing most of the impact and stinging fiercely. Shingo grunts and rolls over to the side to get out of the darned prone position he's placed in. Remaining on the ground is...well suicidal.

On his feet he can tell that Geese is not going to give him the opportunity he needs to get to that jeep and make off with it. Really. No point in saying without a fight since they're already in one. Breathing hard Shingo eyes the only obstacle in their path and steadies his nerves. Mister Howard is a better than him. There's no doubt in that. But they came to Metro City to accomplish something and they're going to do it! "Come on Shingo. Stay cool," he mutters to himself. "You can do this. You can... Burn him, SHINGOOOOOOOO!" With no other warning other than his battle cry, he lunges at Geese with a wide hook punch straight for the face. When it hits it is followed up by a flurry of punches against the man before it is finished with a rising shoulder tackle aimed to bowl him over by crashing into his jaw.

Being caught on two sides is a taxing situation even for a master like Geese. "You're an idiot," he growls to Sakura. "Need to quit trying to act like you know things, Almost Philosophical, because..." He doesn't expect this Hadouken to just bounce off, but his arms come up to shield him from it...right as Shingo's coming in with a series of swinging punches. Attention torn two ways, Geese brings one arm to bear against the Hadouken, and fails to slow it down appreciably. To his credit though he stays well postured, and his other hand catches Shingo's punch in his palm. "Too easy..." His other hand thrusts onto Shingo's chest, a blue blast similar to Sakura's one while she was on the motorcycle...it shoots out and knocks Shingo away. "It's not too late to run away, kid." Even if the hits he's taken are starting to add up, he's confident, outright smug.

Grrr. Sakura 'Almost Philosophical' Kasugano bears no small display of anger as Geese takes her boyfriend's strongest attack head-on -- managing to not only emerge unscathed, but to turn it around on him as well. And then blast him, too.... eesh. The insults didn't help much either. But the fact that her Hadoukens are apparently having some kind of impact is enough to keep her focused on the fight -- which is why she just cups her hands by her side once more. Planting her feet shoulder-width apart, her hands snap once more to her sides, crackling with electricity. she shakes her head to Geese. "Run away? You're =in= the way..." Technically, she -could- just run to city hall. But considering his 'mission' is to secure the bridge, and her mission is to clear it... well, Kasugano's just gonna have to try her best here. "Shinkuu...." She whispers this under her breath, though it's plain to see her baggy sweatpants fluttering from the vortex between her palms, and the energy rushing in. It's another fireball -- but this one should be substantially brighter, faster, and stronger than the last. "HADOOOOOOOUKEN!"

While running away does sound like a good plan given his current state, it's not really a viable option for Shingo. Not because he's not able to run away, but because he won't allow himself to. Yeah right he's going to leave Sakura by herself willingly to fight Geese. It's just not happening. There'll be plenty of time to run after either he or Geese gets knocked out. Getting his punches caught so easily certainly doesn't help the justice side of things for the teenaged couple. Neither does the following blast of energy. "Ung!" Shingo crashes hard and with a loud satisfying thud against the door of a jeep after rolling backwards across the ground. Specifically, his head. Leaving a nice dent in the side of the vehicle.

Shingo is up and ready to rumble. Barely. Well. He supposes he should thank Geese. He did want to get to a jeep. And here he is. Climbing into one as another hadouken heads Geese's way. It should be no surprise that he's able to get it started. After all, the keys were left in the ignition to facilitate the troops. Revving the engine, Shingo floors the jeep and bears it around with intent to run Geese over! Or so it would seem. He would prefer it of Geese didn't dive out of the way. 'Kay? Thanks.

Geese seems to be completely 'off' today in regards to Hadoukens, not once has his defense worked. His mind is busy blaming Shingo for this. Mostly because there is an incoming car. The Shinkuu Hadouken gets there first, as Geese is thinking about how to deal with the jeep and driver. He's just about to leap when the Hadouken is upon him, and a last-second effort to knock it away with his forearms fails, causing him to genuinely stagger this time. He recovers however, and jumps...into the jeep!

"Get. Out!" Palms go together, chi-ray shoots out, and Geese does just that. He makes Shingo get the hell out of the jeep, and then leaps back out to avoid any possible collisions from loss of control.

CARJACKED. That's just COLD. But at least she's able to continue hitting Geese with Hadoukens and such. Thing is... she's positive her luck's gotta run out sooner or later.
Ah, let's cross that bridge over when we come to it! And besides, there's a bridge Sakura would like to cross -now- without getting run over. As it is... well, if Geese's gonna appropriate a vehicle, Sakura decides... hey, why not? She hops onto the hood of the idling limo, then onto its roof. If he's gonna run someone over, it's gonna have to be his own black limozeen! Crouching on the rooftop, she squints her eyes back at Geese, hands cocked to one side. "NO FREE RIDES!" she shouts, before whipping her hands forward.
The flames of the meter-wide projectile that Sakura sends hurtling towards Geese aren't blue, though, but rather a deep, crimson red. Since Shingo's probably hallucinating by now, he won't have to be jealous that Sakura's shot flame! "HADOOOOUKEN!"

He wouldn't be jealous. Remember? Shingo's not the jealous type. Plus. Why would he be jealous of something that's not even real? He wants real flames to shoot. None of that imitiation stuff that comes from chi manipulation. So if he wasn't so dazed from all the damage he's taken he would tell Sakura more power to her. Especially since his power is particularly lacking today for some reason. That fight with Malin must've thrown him off his usual groove or something. Being flung from the moving vehicle. Painful and surprising. Mostly painful. Ow. Shingo rolls along the ground some more. Hooray for battered and bruise.

Springing up from the rolling faster than he has gotten up before, Shingo gives his last bit of energy into charging at Geese. "This is it!" The boy is dead set on hitting Geese at least -once- this match. The helmet doesn't count. He wanted to get hit by that. Maybe, just maybe. If he believes enough in himself he can overcome all the odds and give Sakura that much more of a fighting chance against Mr. Howard. So here goes nothing. Go for broke! Geese gets out of the jeep quickly, and is surprised to see Shingo still able to move. The shoulder-ram strikes him right in the chest, knocking him over from sheer 'HOW?' value. While he's getting up, Geese swings a kick at Shingo to knock him over once and for all, then he sees another of those damn Hadoukens, and swings his arms. "Double Reppuk..." Not quite, the Hadouken's already on him and knocks him back down...

For a few seconds he just lies there. And then... "Worthless trash..." Geese gets to his knees, one fist clenched and shaking over at Sakura. "You're going to die here for that." He gets up, stalking towards her and the limo, yelling "GET OUT!" -- The driver does just that, running towards the barricades and soldiers at the other end for safety.

... Ooof, Sakura winces a bit as Shingo gets kicked to the ground. But her last Hadouken seemed to do the trick just the same. Seeing Geese knocked down... well, that brings a light smile to her face. Taking a moment to undo her helmet, she thinks her job here is done -- just patch up Shingo and go, right? ... Or maybe not! Geese gets up right as soon as Sakura's lovely blonde tresses are revealed to the light. And her... rimless glasses. Is this really Sakura Kasugano?
Well, who else could it be slinging out Hadoukens like nobody's business. It sure -seems- like her, anyway. Especially the way the spunky schoolgirl quips back, "Worthless?"
Though it's quite obvious she's not going to press the attack -right- away. The fact that Geese got back up -- well, in the SNF game, that's BAD NEWS. So Sakura just caaaaaautiously hops down from the limo, backing towards the tanks, and only occasionally looking over her shoulder to make sure no one's firing anything at her. "C'mon, Mr. Howard, I'm one of your biggest draws now! Cant'cha take a joke?" Flippancy in the face of madness? Well, rest assured that Sakura's got -some- kind of plan, since her hands are glowing a bright blue, even still...

COMBATSYS: Sakura gathers her will.

All is right again in the world. Know why? Because Shingo wasn't entirely useless in terms of dealing damage against Geese Howard. Pushing his body as far as it can go to drive home his shoulder was all that he was aiming for. Sakura's hadouken coming in for added fun is just the icing on the cake. Looks like this fight is theirs. So what if he just got kicked over to stumble and stagger to first land on his backside and then slumping over onto his back. Worn out and spent. All he needs is like five minutes and he'll be good to go. In the meantime he rolls over onto his side to at least crawl and drag himself out of the way seeing that Geese isn't quite down yet. Shingo getting about a metre to a metre and a half away before unable to move any more. He lays there taking deep breaths in order to speed up his recovery for when they need to get moving again, "Come on, Sakura. You can do it..." Not loud enough for anyone to hear. But it's the thought that counts.

Geese is seriously not fooled by the disguise. He's sharp enough to see past it, and there's only so much to done for the voice. He continues to march after Sakura once she's off the limo. "You're going to be an entirely different kind of draw when I'm finished with you!" He leaps across a fair chunk of the bridge towards Sakura, hands crossed above his head. "Raging..." He lands, palms smashing into the street, "Storm!" That's when a huge chi-cage bursts around him, curved pillars rising to hopefully smash Sakura skyward. None of the soldiers are firing, they'd just as soon not accidentally hit Geese and find he thinks they're good targets all of a sudden, even in his current state.

COMBATSYS: Geese successfully hits Sakura with Raging Storm.

Nudging her glasses up along the bridge of her nose, Sakura stares back at Geese. She knew she wasn't fooling anyone the instant she started her artillery practice, and the way he keeps shouting at her... yeah. "C'mon, shouldn't you be thanking me already? It was all -boring- and stuff sittin' in your car, kickin' back... don'tcha want some =action= in your life?
Oh yeah. He also said 'Raging Storm.' Luckily for Sakura, she had been preparing for just such an occurrence -- and as futile as it is, she actually throws her hands forward, crying, "HAAAAAAAAAAA....." Initially it doesn't seem to do anything but make her hands glow blue... but in a small, muted sort of way, it seems she's able to slow the tendrils of chi, preventing them from hi---
Oh, who are we kidding here? Geese versus Sakura? She may have slowed the inevitable, but the Raging Storm attack still plunges on, lancing right through her guard and knocking her up into the sky.
Flailing head over heels for two quick turns, Sakura's still grinning -- slightly -- as she rights herself. Landing in a crouch, she springs back, dashing straight towards Geese. "I'm not done yet, Mr. Howard!" Bringing her right hand back, she then thrusts her palm forward, launching a smallish, basketball-sized globe of chi hurtling towards Geese, kicking up a shrill whine from its sheer -speed-.

COMBATSYS: Geese dodges Sakura's Small Hadouken.

Sheer speed that Geese negates by rising, then simply sidestepping. He makes it look easy, but the reality was that it was a very narrow evasion. "I've got that trick figured out. Perhaps you'd like to enjoy an entirely different kind of action in your life, for what's going to be left of it?" He then 'slides' along the ground, elbow held forth. "Jaeiken!" An elbow aimed at the chest, a punch at the head, and finally a palm-joining to thrust them at Sakura's gut. A series of harsh, powerful blows indeed.

COMBATSYS: Sakura interrupts Jaeiken from Geese with Small Hadouken.

Hmm. An entirely -different- kind of action? Smirking back at Geese, Kasugano shakes her head. "Not sure I like the sound of that!" Wow, she sure got -smug- all of a sudden. Maybe it's because her left hand's the one glowing now. Maybe it's because she's still grinning, even as Geese slams his elbow at her chest -- only for that to be dulled by her forearm. Maybe it's because the punch swung to her head clocks her head -- painful, yes, but by this point Sakura doesn't need to -see- through her rapidly-blurring vision to -do- anything. She just launches out with her left hand, using the opening given to ram her palm into Geese's side, a garbled scream of "HADOooOOuken!" escaping her lips. When Geese follows through with that double-palm strike, she's already leaping backwards to safety. "Still not sure I like that..." she chuckles back.

"You shouldn't like it, it won't be fun..." Elbow. "For you, at least." Punch. "I..." Hadouken. That shuts Geese up nicely. He goes down to his knees once again, but also rises once more. Last legs? Probably. But he's still got some moves left in him, and is rushing after Sakura to grab her by the arm, then turn around while lifting her up by that limb, and tossing her down to the street.

COMBATSYS: Sakura blocks Geese's Medium Throw.

And isn't shutting up cocky old men what this is fight is all about, anyway? Though... it's more to shut =Rolento= up, specifically. The thing is, though -- when Geese grabs her by her arm, the schoolgirl's already thinking about the best way to minimize the damage from that blow. Accordingly, when Geese lets her go, she's twisted around in mid-air to the point that she doesn't land with a thump -- but rather with a rustle of kevlar as she tumbles to safety. "Heh heh... almost had me!" she chirps -- but at this point, she really doesn't feel like wasting much time. She dashes towards Geese, cupping her hands by her side in a familiar pose...
And then promptly snaps her foot over her head, to bring it crashing down at his guard, her foot bathed in blue as she brings it crashing down onto him. "HRIIIII-HAAA!"

COMBATSYS: Geese dodges Sakura's Flower Kick EX.

"I still will have you," Geese promises in a harsh voice, bringing a forearm up to guard against Sakura's kick. This isn't an effort to shield himself from the blow, instead it's a deflecting block, one meant to knock the attack away. And right after that, he brings his fist back....then does nothing with it, instead making a short hop forward, pivoting his hip a little as he kicks at Sakura's chest.

COMBATSYS: Geese successfully hits Sakura with Strong Kick.

Ow! Geese's foot lands true, just as he'd planned it -- but Sakura's already -much- too close to pull off that miracle dodge she was hoping on. But she has ooooone more attack to send off at Geese, before she goes flying backward into the reinforced armor of the tank behind her -- another basketball-sized blossom of energy she likes to call: "HADOOOOUKEN!"

COMBATSYS: Sakura can no longer fight.

Right there. Geese was expecting Yet Another Hadouken. Sakura is just too predictable at times, and his foot goes to gouging out part of the road to give him a rock-chunk. He catches it before it can fall, and fastballs it at the Hadouken...and it punches right through, going on to peg Sakura in the ribs. "I told you I've figured that trick out, girl." He's tired, but he would very much like to rub this victory in. So, he stalks over to Sakura, one hand reaching down to pick her up by the throat...and then he's marching off towards Shingo, who's some distance down the bridge...

WHAM. That rock slams into the schoolgirl's ribs, adding injury to insult as she slumps forward, before finally falling to the ground. Not that she remains there long before being hefted up by the throat. "Hrrrrk..." protests Sakura, half-shut eyes struggling to focus on Geese's as she quivers with fear. She'd been running on pure adrenaline ever since Shingo went down, after all... and right now? It's starting to backfire. But, as her throat is constricted, she doesn't have the breath to snap out any witty commentary. That was probably Geese's intention, anyway.

Shingo is there. On the ground. Easy target for picking up.

"It's too bad. You two certainly have been good draws on Saturday Night Fight," Geese almost, almost sounds sorry about this, as he kneels down to pick Shingo up by his throat in the other hand. "It would've been nice if you just stayed out of this and continued to be moneymakers for me. I suppose one of you still could be..." He's looking at Sakura, "But you're just too annoying. Letting you live, even in the way I think would be best...is too good for you. Think about your big mouth in heaven!" His Sakura-holding hand draws back, then...toss! Sakura's going over the railing of the bridge, off to the waters below.

"And you can feel good about failing her when she needed you the most. Drown with her, bozo!" The Shingo-holding hand draws back and then similarly throws him off the bridge, and Geese...just starts laughing. The adrenaline's going to fade and leave him feeling rather exhausted very soon, but for now, he's laughing. He's probably underestimating their hardiness in presuming this'll be the end of them...but let Geese have his fun for now.

COMBATSYS: Geese has ended the fight here.
