Match of the Millennium

Description: Lilith and Lucky Chloe faced each other in Fightfest 2025 back in the spring but this time they're teaming up against the mighty Kongou! This truly terrifying encounter will take place in New Jersey's Lincoln Tunnel with traffic tearing past the trio in two of the three tunnels! Thankfully for the sake of the competitors and the crowd, the central tunnel is being kept traffic free for the fight.

[LUCKY CHLOE]
Despite being born in nearby Metro City, the artist known as Lucky Chloe left her hometown at the tender age of two years old, meaning that she never got to visit New Jersey back before she and her parents made the move to Southtown in Japan. She has since played a couple of times in the state, at the Prudential Center in Newark, and even been driven through the Lincoln Tunnel, but she has never before got out of a car there.

"Are we sure this is safe?" Asks the pop idol's long-suffering manager, as the blonde teen taps away on her cell phone.

"Perfectly." The Saturday Night Fight staffer responds. "This is actually a fairly popular place to stage matches."

"Seriously?" Wonders the manager, her perfectly arched eyebrows shooting skywards. "Oh well, whatever. She's insured well. Let's get this thing over with."

Chloe looks up from her many messages and plasters on her performance smile. "Is it showtime?"

"Well not quite. We need to wait for both your teammate and your opponent to show up yet." The staffer says, excusing himself to go in search of them.

[LILITH]
Amidst the sound of car engines and their whirring past--the center Lincoln Tunnel is conspicuously vehicle free--this is because of the impromptu SNF ring that has been setup in a cordoned off area of the tunnel itself. Yes there's a ring set up in there and a crew present, though probably not much onlookers, which is fortunate, given who is in attendance tonight. The insurance payouts had to be insane, given they're letting darkstalkers and dark-adjacent people fight in here, considering the damage they can cause. Wait--is Kongou even a darkstalker--? Perhaps that's where the whole "adjacent" discriptor comes from... hrm.

Either way, Lilith Aensland is here, looking just happy to be there as always--showing up in the white blouse, miniskirt and ankle boots civvie outfit that's just one of many she likes to roll around in when she's not got her 'succubus on' which as everyone knows is based on her sister's look with that. It's a family thing, apparently--like traditional livery, or something.

"Hiiii~ you all ready for some TRIPLE TROUBLE--" she waved around to what folks had come in the opposite end of the tunnel on foot to spectate, her outfit slowly melting and reconfiguring as the unmistakeable bat-tights and merry widow leotard getup, back and headwings popping out from their prospective places.

She's perched on one of the posts of the ring, still with her back straight and lifting an arm to wave to folks even still.

[KONGOU]
At the far end of the combat area - the air suddenly shimmers and distorts. It's like watching a mirage rise up from the concrete of the tunnel or seeing the haze of humidity settle over the area. Indeed the very air pressure does seem to shift. A sudden disturbance often associated with the approach of a storm or the dipping inevitablility of a descending funnel cloud.

THen *BOOOM* and *BOOOM* and *TOOOM*!!! The tunnel shakes and the very air begins cracking. Light bleeding through as if a camera lense was shattering. A mirror being broken. ....and then finally - it shatters. The air folding away to reveal what looks to be a monstrous torso. Gigantic shelf like pectorals pushing forward through the distorted space and casting shadow over the ground before the rest of him begins to emerge. The tear in space continues widening more and more and more until all of it collapses all together with a sound of shattering glass. Pure blidning light frames the behemoth that emerges in full. Kongou the Strongest Titan - stepping forward from 'Elsewhere'. The Backyard? The Boundary? It's hard to say because almost instantly the rift seals up behind him and the behemoth continues a bare footed tread forawrd towards what passes for a ring.

He then stops, looking around to see the gathered spectators and then the cars blazing buy on either side of the match zone. THen he tilts his head up to look to the roof of the tunenl and then finally back down again.

"....Well! This doesn't look safe!"

[LUCKY CHLOE]
Lucky Chloe is dressed in her trademark costume of a short ruffled black halter dress with a pink bodice and matching pink fluffy bolero jacket over the top. She's all set up for both dancing and combat with her cushioned sneakers, knee pads and a cat-eared headset, through which she can stream her own songs. A speaker worn on her waistband makes sure that everyone else will have the questionable pleasure of hearing them too!

"I'm always ready for trouble." The seemingly sweet as sugar starlet sing-songs, twirling a blonde ponytail around a fake furry cat paw.

She looks up to where her teammate is perched and offers a wave with the same paw. "We're on the same side this time then. You put me through my paces last time at Fighfest. I was lucky to scrape a draw, if you pardon the pun!"

She starts to giggle girlishly and then looks around the tunnel. "So, where's the big guy then?"

No sooner has she spoken, than Chloe sees him, and indeed feels him!

Of course Chloe is aware of Kongou. She hung around on the edges of the New Fighting Generation competition for some of season one and he's a well-known figure on the fighting circuit. She's never actually experienced him before though.

The cat-girl scurries over to the side of the tunnel and rests against its wall, hoping that this will offer her some steadiness and support

From this somewhat safer spot she sees Kongou fully reveal himself and she can't help but gasp. She throws a frightened look in Lilith's direction, her aquamarine eyes full of fear. She begins to blink as the blinding light fills the space and lifts an arm up to cover her face.

As the colossal creature declares the venue to not look safe, she peeks out at him in disbelief. "Funny! That's exactly what I was thinking."

[LILITH]
"Uhhh, I mean it /was/! I dunno about /now/..." Lilith grinned a little bit, putting a finger to her chin after the whole damn tunnel was shaken by Kongou's entrance, which nearly nocked her off the post of the ring that she'd been cutely parched on, and had to struggle comically to right herself. "But anyway~ Kongou's here!"

Lilith hops down and nods her head to Lucky Chloe. "Yeeeah... I tried really hard that last match, but you were a tough customer," Lilith folded her arms, then looked over at Kongou. "Oh yeah, /that's/ the guy we're gonna be fighting, aheh," Lilith grins and winces a bit, jerking a thumb back toward Kongou, as if to say 'sorry!' to Chloe as she knows they have their work cut out for them with Kongou. This is gonna be rough~

Once the blinding light is over, Lilith blinks the strange shapes floating in front of her vision away and gets to the center of the ring, cracking little knuckles and getting her bluster up. "Hokay, lets get this party started!" Clearly she doesn't realize how this is gonna go.

"Shame on them They did this on purpose! In order to keep us from collapsing this whole place...Imma hafta....not use a considerable portion of my strength or techniques! I can't very well knock you into the sky if there's a ceiling in the way and traffic above us! Not unless I want to collapse driving cars down here. Tsk. So ...they want me to fight with my hand behind my back..."

The heavy approach of Kongou is an earthquake unto itself. *TOOMS* resounding as he draws near, moving with a swaggering lumbering gait. He slaps his left pectoral, producing a loud *BOOM* as the muscle quakes and contracts and then settles in a rolling tidal wave of sinew. "Alright! Very well! Let's make it intersting then! ONe arm behind my back indeed!"

He lifts a leg up and steps over the barriacdes into the designated ring area and then grins at both Lilith and Lucky Chloe. "H'lo. Try and make it interesting, alright? I've not had much luck in my recent matches. A princess of Outworld handed me a handy defeat! I need to reset my reputation or I'll never hear the end of it. Do your best!"

He raises both of his arms overhead, despite his previous comment about fighting with one hand. and then turns - pivoting at his waist with both arms spread wide as he shows his monstrous body off to the crowd and then brings his arms down infront of him in a tremendous flex that arcs his back up high into the air like rising mountain ranges and bulks his arms out like Buicks under his flesh. Truly Lilith could probably fit wholesale into a single limb and vanish somewhere into its depths. IT's - quite the contrast!

But Kongou knows better then to underestimate then due to how small they are.

"Whenever you are ready!" he declares, lifting an arm to point at both of the two ladies.

Lucky goes to stand by Lilith. Maybe if they get closer together they can seem more intimidating! Maybe?

Even if they're likely outmatched in height, weight, power, experience and goodness knows how many other categories, the two female fighters both have something in abundance - enthusiasm!

"I'm ready to party." Chloe claims and presses play on the music. First up it's a dance remix of 'Pretty Kitty', her first single to top the streaming charts!

The blonde starts to bounce on the spot, waving her costume cat paws in time with the beat. "One arm, two arms, whatever you want!" Lucky states with confidence. The sound of her own tune is actually helping her to put on her performing persona.

As Kongou enters the ring, Chloe cartwheels towards him, causing the crowd to clap and whistle. Or perhaps that's Kongou's impressive physique. "I'm ready!" the Lucky lass announces and then launches herself towards Kongou, twisting around and spinning forwards rapidly. She's seeking to deliver a quick-fire series of horizontal chops with her paws to whichever parts of him she can reach!

Somewhere, someone has a bottle of water, most likely--and in it the liquid jumps each time Kongou takes a step, ala that scene in the first Jurassic Park movie.

"Oh it's okay, you don't need to tie one hand behind your back, maybe one arm for each of us though!" Lilith waves that off, good naturedly. "Princess of outworld, huh?" clearly what Lilith imagines in her head at that moment is anything but Sheeva, since she seems intrigued and not at all horrified by having to face them down.

True to Lilith's idea, she angles in on the other side of Kongou than Chloe is assaulting, her main wings transforming as she does a little half-turn and those wings turn themselves into sledgehammers--whirling right towards his other arm and side!

As promised, Kongou does indeed bring arm down and place it behind his back. He gives both fighters a big bold grin, waiting expectantly with his eyes flickering back and forth between them. He seems casual and yet behind his eyes there is a certain intensity.
%He is indeed taking them seriously even if his bravado and showmanship is on full display.

This becomes evident as he suddenly twists on his feet, shifting positions and bringing his other arm up against Lucky Chloe's attack. Her paws meet the hyper dense muscle-fibers cording his pillar sized limb, battering against it until a muscle-twitch sends a push back of force to press her backwards and away from his towering frame.
%"Oh hoh? Bold...well then--I'll... *Woomph!*'

Lilith's attack follows up. The sledgehammers clonking against his arm and the side of his head. The behemoth staggers, blinking as if seeing stars, and his attention reflexively snaps towards Lilith.

That same arm comes around, fist clenching and knuckles cracking. The air pressure seems to shift as the behemoths limbs move....and then he swings, sending a gigantic fist filling up the little demons field of vision.

At the last second he suddenly halts the swing but the pressure wave continues. An explosive wall off orce that goes rushing across the ring at the winged girl - shaking both air, ring and the highways around them all.

When the wings appear, Lucky beams a bright smile at Lilith, though whether her ally can see it with Kongou between them is unclear.

It seems that all three of these competitors are in good spirits and the crowd are in fine form too. Their hoots and hollers echo around the tunnel and are almost loud enough to drown out the traffic in the other two tunnels either side.

The agile and athletic Chloe is impressed by the speed of Kongou's reaction to her assault. As her paws push against his powerful physique, she finds herself feline less than successful!

"There's a nod of acknowledgement to the massive male and then Lucky's eyes are on Lilith as she hits him in his head. "Yes, Lilith!" The dance diva encourages, but Kongou is soon coming after her in seek of his revenge!

Chloe isn't close enough to attempt to stop what follows but she can try and distract Kongou before he does any more damage to Lilith. She steps forwards, snap kicking in the direction of his stomach with her left leg and then leaps upwards to deliver an overhand chop to his head with her right paw!

[LILITH]
The big purple fist filling up Lilith's vision is unfortunately the last thing she sees before the stars--starstruck vision one might say--as she's thrown backwards and bounces off the edge of the ring, somehow making it back to her feet. But she doesn't look quite... steady after it.

"Ooh yeah, mmm--we got hit by a truck--" she finally shakes the stars out, and realizes, no, that wasn't a semi-truck that just hit her, Kongou was still bearing down on them!

"Oh snap, well at least I didn't wake up in another timezone again!" she formed one of her back wings into a large fist herself, sending it toward Kongo's side and right shoulder as hard as she could. Notice she was going for heavy, bashing sorts of strikes against the titan--not the quick jabs or blades she might normally use on someone.

"Well done!"

Kongou's deep booming voice is surprisingly...encouraging?! That's odd...

The big grin on his face is goofy, expressive...maybe even charming.

The rolling sea of sinew that is his body, pectorals tightening, producing shockwaves fro their sliding movements.. That's probably not so charming.

His fist clenches, arm drawing back and tension building once again as his eyes seem to light up from some inner aetherial source.

"You're makin' this interesting!" he declares. "I approve!"

HIs body twists slightly, leaning forward into his prepared assault and in the process one boulder sized shoulder comes whipping into view, catching the paw strike against it with a heavy meaty thud that reverbates through the area.

His attention shifts from Lilith to her .. just as the massive fist from the wings of the little demoness comes hurtling in to go slamming right into the back of his head.

It wobbles and shakes. Kongou keeps on grinning.

His fist then comes around, hurtling forward and then down towards the surface of the fighting zone - with Lucky Chloe about to be potentially caught between ground and fist! Impact will possibly drive her right through the mat into the earth below!

Organizers wince. The first bit of worry on having Kongou fighting in an underground tunnel with nearby traffic. The place might not be earthquake proof...

"Strangely enough, I think a truck just passed through the tunnel to the right of us." Chloe muses, happy to have avoided being hit by it or their formiddable opponent.

"Someone punched you into a different timezone?" Chloe questions, her aquamarine eyes growing wider. "Or was it a kick?"

Speaking of kicks, the dancer is limbering up her lithe legs by bouncing up and down on her cushioned sneakers. Perhaps she's trying to throw Kongou off his game, or maybe she's just used to moving around a lot!

Is Chloe charmed by Kongou? Perhaps not, but he is a lot more pleasant than she'd been expecting. Which is kinda the opposite experience to what people often have with her. She's behaving so far today though. For now at least.

She likes the fact Kongou is calling she and Lilith interesting. From a seasoned scrapper like this one, it's a review she respects.

Lilith lands a blow, earning her a punching paw of approval in the air. Then right after, it's time for Kongou to do some punching of his own!

Not so lucky Chloe is struck and somehow manages to avoid passing through the tunnel. She does hit the ground hard though, causing her to let out a whimper. As she rests there in a bid to recover, she feels things start to shift and shake around her.

She starts to get up, slowly. As she rises, she yells out "One! Two!" Then launches herself into a pair of dancing low kicks, aiming for Kongou's shins. From here she spins around, striking out at him with a quick jab of her left paw and then lashing out with her right paw in a straight punch.

In a final flourish, she follows through with a spinning backfist smash with her left paw!

[LILITH]
"Ooof--you can do it Chloe! We got 'em on the ropes!" From the way Lilith looks, they do /not/ in fact have Kongou even near to any kind of ropes--but Lilith is quick to encourage her partner in this at any rate. Herself is even more bashed up looking than Chloe is, who just took a fist from Kongou and came away relatively unscathed in comparison to Lilith, who looked like they got hit and woke up in another postcode. Lilith realizes she needs to make some waves here, even if she has been consistently landing strikes against the titan.

"Hey!" she springs herself at Kongou next, attempting to catch him unaware with a backhand strike from one of those big red arms of hers--that is, her back wings forming themselves into arms and attempting to stun him with a backhand across the face before trying to grab onto him and take hold.

Should Lilith manage to grab hold of Kongou she'll proceed to turn and streeeeetch those wings of hers like a big elastic band, trying to 'slingshot' throw him. Her usual technique here is to grab her opponent and form her other wing into a bow, and then nock their victim like an arrow and shoot them away from her--but Kongou is just too big, this requires a more creative solution--a big blue slingshot or catapult!

Of course Lilith is comically small in comparison, so it looks like an ant trying to overhead throw a golfball away from itself!

It's almost ridiculous.

Scratch that. It -is- ridiculous, the disparity in size in this fight. The SNF organizers no doubt knew this. That's why they put the whole thing together no doubt. Kongou's power and reputation is well known as well. Defied and openly attacked a Librarium satelite office. Was unbowed against the recently released Suzaku in Junko's body. Faced Athena with one arm holding a dumpster the size of a bus, fillled with her merchandise.

So that Lilith and Lucky Chloe are facing him speaks to confidence in their ability to put on a show.

But there is such a thing as being out matched and also plain and simple luck. Mostly bad it seems.

Lucky Chloe's hit strikes true, for example, but a sudden pressure - almost like gravity wharbles through Kongou's form. His physique seems like it gains in mass, density, immensity. Her blow lands true and reverbates across his monstrous body.. and he barely blinks. Instead the force shock pushes back against her - shoving her form into the air where she can no doubt perform an acrobatic landing of appropriate epic proportions.

Kongou leans forward, dorpping down to one knee in a thunderous pavement cracking manuever. He lbrings his arm from behind his back and lifts his other, using it to brace it while glenching his fist and bringing together his thumb and pointer finger. Pressure surges, building up so much so as he presses his fingers together that the air temperature rises and builds from the rising pressure and fiction. He takes aim at Lucky Chloe and then----

Pivots abruptly to swig his arm around at the incoming Lilith. The finger flick erupts and the air buckles and then explodes. A shockwave blasts out towards her - slamming into her and continuing on and across the full length of the tunnel. Car alarms sound, glass shatters. The ground rips apart.

Kongou blinks, still crouched. "Mm.... Oops!"

[LUCKY CHLOE]
Lucky looks less certain than Lilith about the state of play in this match but as someone who believes in positive mental attitude, she gives the other girl a thumbs up to acknowledge her encouragement.

To return the favour, Chloe cheers Lilith on as she makes an attempt to slingshot throw Kongou. Talk about ambitious! "Woo, Lilith!" She yells, throwing in some dance moves for good measure. As 'Pretty Kitty' comes to a close, it's time for 'Kiss of Life' which evokes memories of a video shoot on Daybreak Beach in Sunshine City.

Back to the present though and poor Lilith is being smacked around like a ragdoll. Chloe cringes inside, knowing that if her ally goes down then she's gonna have to deal with this big hitter all by herself. The way things are going right now, it'll be a challenge to even connect with him.

Perhaps all of this will be a moot point though if the tunnel gets destroyed. Surely they'd have to call the fight off in that case? Combat seems to be continuing at least for now and the referee shows no sign of bringing a halt to the bout, so Chloe will keep on going!

Backflipping herself out of the way of some flying glass, the blonde drops down on to her paws and begins to breakdance, spinning on her back and then kicking out with her legs three times and shouting "Lucky!" loudly.

From here she transitions smoothly into a handstand and follows through with a double vertical spin kick, aiming for Kongou's chin and upper torso with both sneakers.

Whatever the outcome, she will finish upside down and facing away on her hands, bending her knees and holding the pose before flipping back to her feet.

As the popstar performs this maneuver, something strange starts to happen, the ground around her begins to shift and shake. Could it be the after effects of Kongou's assault or is there other forces at work? Whatever's going on, it seems to take the teen by surprise too and she stands on the spot staring at what's left of the tunnel floor.

[LILITH]
The hit from Kongou is quite like an explosion for Lilith--an explosion of light and sound and funny shapes over the vision as her eyes try to recalibrate and make sense of what just happened--much like the rest of her. The succubit is thrown by the finger-flick out of the ring and into oncoming traffic by the explosion--winding up slamming into the grill of an 18-wheeler. She's actually /embedded/ in the aluminum of the grill and has to slowly dislodge herself from it, with sickly crunching that is not at all what a human is capable of surviving.

"Ohhh... hey," her purple pixie-cut hairdo and red crumpled headwings slowly rise up from over the hood of the cab of the truck, terrifying the driver inside who is already wondering if he hit something--who then screams and slams on his breaks.

"Woooaaaahhh!" Lilith winds up suddenly thrown back, with just her ankle caught in the now crushed tangle of the grill--her arms and wings flailing as she tries not to get pulled down and under the wheels--finally dislodging herself and thudding against the road--ping-ponging between the road and tunnel wall till she comes flying back incidentally into the ring itself, landing in a heap on her chest. Extra ouch there, perhaps.

"Uhhhnnnn..." she pulls herself up and there is a series of sickening crunches as she pulls some arms and legs back into their sockets, working her head around with some pops from her joints.

Before she can do anything, she need sto re-orient herself, and try to steel herself for a decent manuever here...

Playing by these rules, he is indeed actively hamstringing himself here. Granted, the organizers didn't -say- he had to hold back but, truly, this is a monster who can crumple cars into balls of foil in his hands. Who was hit by a bus when crossing the streets in Metro City. The bus lost. Kongou kept walking.

His strength is something beyond the bounds of logic, even for the visual spectacle of his size. Thus throwing all he has in an underground tunnel? Why he's not some barbarian berserker.

He is, however, occasionally careless and irresponsible.

"Oi." he rumbles, "Thought I held that back.." It's an errant thought that no doubt doesn't do much to salve Lilith's condition as she goes flying backwards across the battle zone.

But at least she's out of the pressure zone which leaves...

WHAM!!

Lucky's sneakers go slamming violently into Kongous' chin. His head jerks backwards, rocketing violently to the side from the impact. His body tilts - but doesn't fall or stagger. Instead he simply blinks a few times as the shockwave from the blow goes rippling up through his braided brown hair.

The Aetheric Gigas simply grins, chin still tilted upwards as if reflecting on the blow. It did something, certainly, but he seems to be doing a good job of the no-sell.

The ground shaking again, however.... -that- is interesting. "Did you do that?" he questions, lowering his head back down and training his lightly glowing eyes on her as she lands.

"Interesting..." he muses ...and then lunges forward, stretching a huge hand out for one of her legs.

Should he wrap those meaty digits around that limb, he'd pull her towards him while his other hand coils back his pointer and middle finger. A loud *THWUMP* would resonate as he flicks both of those enormous digits at her torso once, twice and then a third time like incoming battering rams. A ram that ends with him releasing her roughly to send her thundreously towards the fighting ground floor!

Lucky Chloe screams right along with the driver as she sees Lilith hit the 18-wheeler. How is she even getting up from that? The dance diva may look like a darkstalker with her catgirl accessories but she's all human. It's probably a good thing that it wasn't the pussycat popstar who had that collision.

The teen rushes over to try and help her teammate break free but before she can reach her, Lilith has already landed at her feet. "Hiiiiii!" She giggles. "I bet that hurt!"

The crunching sounds have Chloe cringing but she doesn't have time to contemplate them for too long, since Kongou is coming her way!

She managed to connect with the colossal creature's chi but the truth is, she can't take credit for all of the impact. "I...I don't think I did." She admits when he questions her. Although it did definitely seem to be as a result of her attack, so who knows?

The hand comes in and clasps on to her lean limb. She feels herself getting pulled towards him but manages to bring both her knees up to stop his fingers from prodding at her chest. The fact the joints have pink cushioned pads on also helps her to handle him.

Fending him off allows her to break free and she uses the space to launch a move her fans call 'Scoot.' Lashing out with a dancing low kick to Kongou's shins, she counts "One, two," and then plants a hand on the ground, using it to support her spinning as she follows up with a kick to his midsection.

Lilith has managed to steady herself enough after that cutscene-level hit she took earlier, realizing that Chloe is able to gird herself against one of Kongou's attacks--this perhaps gives Lilith herself a bit of an opening...

One of Lilith's hands snap up and then goes down into... her leotard? From it, she withdraws a black silk tophat with a red band. Uh oh.

"Hey~" Lilith grins, despite all the trauma they've taken this match, they still have the ability to grin with wild abandon like that. She's glowing with prismatic energy, not unlike some other darkstalkers might with chi--but Lilith's energy is very different on an intrinsic level. She rears back and throws the tophat right toward Kongou with all her might...! Some kind of strange projectile? Is it going to slam into the titan with immeasurable fury...? Or is it...

Magic?

There is a puff of smoke as the hat makes impact with Kongou, and Lilith does a backflip in place, obsured by the smoke. As it clears, she's... wearing a playboy bunny outfit?

"READY~?" Lilith is indeed wearing a red leotard, fishnet tights, bunny ears, and cherry red heels. She's gesturing to where Kongou was--which is not obscured by red curtains?! Oh yeah, Darkstalker magic shenanigans are at play here--and as they open up, Kongou is revealed to be standing on a little round stage.

What follows here could be a stunning display of Kongou's now oiled up muscles doing a bunch of bodybuilder, Mr. Universe style posing--however they want to 'perform', either way, it ends with...

"Oh boy, you did great!" Lilith holds up a sign as if it's a scorecard at the olympics, showing what looks like a... yellow lightning bolt on it?

And yes, that is exactly what courses up through Kongou as the mighty titan is viciously electrocuted--the stage disappearing and Lilith returning to normal--hopefully in time for any lawyers to get wind of that getup!

"Whoo!"

They sure know how to throw a party, these two. As Lucky Chloe guards herselef and twists away, Kongou pivots sightly, putting his full attention on her now as Lilith readies her assault in the background. The dancer comes at him again and this time Konoug's palm meets her attack, allowing the impact to slam into his massive flesh and ripple its way through him. The giant again remaining unmoved though not dispassionate as his eyes light up with some approval at her continued press in what's clearly odds stacked against her.

"Mmm!" he rumbles. The simple sound a seismic approval.

But then.. well....things get weird.

Kongou is no stranger to showing off his immense physique. It's part of his charisma, his antics, his bravado, his persono. While he's not exactly the physique one would presume for an aesthetic driven bodybuilder contest - it's still the sort of display he'd get into. But -usually- it's of his own free will - and so when it ends and he finds himself in the middle of a vast highway shaking most-muscular pose .. he blinks in confusion and finds his senses restored.

Then lightning strikes. THe boiling energy ripples its way through him, dispelling any remaining Darkstalker illusory magic in the process but leaving the behemoth a smouldering glowing walll of mass. His body weathers the blow like soem sort of fortress but he staggers forward, nearly dropping to one knee form a sudden wave of fatigue that washes over him.

But fatigue or no, the Gigas acts. His massive hand moves about, forming into a gigantic fist once more. A shockwave builds up around it that starts tremors that rumbe up to the streets above and shake the highways next to the match.

WHOOOM!!!

The fist goes hurtling around towards Lucky Chloe, still too near to him. If it impacts - there will be a brief delay as if the kinetic force itself was holding its breath...

And then Kongou's fingers extend. His whole hand opening up in a thunderous driving shove that carries the rest of the force of his blow to send her hurtling away from him and towards Lilith should the assault land clean.

A kitty and a bunny? If these shots get online then the internet might break. Then there's the impressive sight of Kongou flexing and posing!

"I see I'm not the only performer around here." the popstar giggles. "Things are getting really electric!"

Chloe doesn't see Kongou coming initially. She's too busy enjoying the show! By the time she realises the fist is about to hit her it's too late.

Her expression is one of shock. She seems almost frozen in time at first but then she's flying through the air at full force, heading straight for her fight partner!

The bubblegum blonde lands at Lilith's feet, letting out a groan as she pats down her body to see which parts are hurt. Pretty much all of them given how much she's aching!

The disciplined dancer is determined to go on though, and since she's already down here...

"Here we go!" Rings out the familiar cry, causing the Chloe fans in the crowd to cheer and clap. In time to their beat, she begins to breakdance, kicking out at Kongou with her outstretched legs repeatedly.

If she can connect, she will bring both feet together and kick him up into the air. She'll then follow him, leaping upwards with a victorious shout of "Oh yeah!" whilst thrusting her paw up to punch out at the giant's descending body.

Should all this go to plan, she will strike a pose with one of her paws up to her ear.

What did that kind of move/spell even DO, one might be wondering--well, it did have the effect of draining energy--though not that one would notice much of a difference with Kongou, and he was going to get it back eventually. It didn't /just/ electrocute, or engulf them in flame, or freeze them--whatever the sign landed on. Nevertheless Lilith had to keep her spirits and her energy up, marshalling stuff she didn't even know she had as her entire body is streaked with sweat and blood, which is especially apparent after she poofs back into her normal costume, which is definitely ripped and torn in a few places. Seeing Chloe take another hit--she knows she has to do something.

Her wings springing out behind her, now as actual wings and not arms or blades or the like--she catapults herself toward Kongou--only in mid-flight do the wings then turn into spear heads which seek to stab and strike at the gigas's body as she flings herself at him in a daring diving sort of manuever!

Perhaps it was a mistake putting them side by side like that.

Either way, Kongou staggers. His vast form comes lurching forward, dropping to a knee and pressing a gigantic rist against the surface of the battle zone. He blinks a few times, trying to shunt off the haze that has come over him and to deal with the delayed effects of the thumping impacts that are rushing through his monumental form.

Thus - when the pair of attacks come rushing with violent, nearly fully choreographed force... he's actually ill prepared...

So much so that when Chloe lands her hit the impossible seems to happen. He is launched. Sent up towards the high ceiling of the underground arena and then as her attack slams vioelntly into him - back down again towards teh ground itself.

As she strikes her pose, Lilith comes soaring in and races past him. Her bladed wings cutting against his gigantic form and ripping violently past him with a tearing of his aether and a scoring of damage across his broad torso and tremendous flesh.

Both hits ar tremendous. Both hits seem capable of felling anyoen or anything they come into contact with... But Kongou's eyes merely fly open from their squinted expression and another big grin comes across his features.

HE hasn't even hit the ground, such is his reflexes as he lashes out a huge limb to try and grasp hold of Lillith before she gets away from him. The rest of his body impacts with a rolling thunderous quake.

"Awright, awright.." he rumbles casually before suddenly yanking her back towards him and then leaping again.

His vast body arcs over Chloe's posing body like a passing lurching and leaping Killer Whale crossing overhead... and then he twists and attempts to bring Lilith back down with his huge body in a massive earthquake inducing suplex that would then end with his body rolling ontop of her with a final press of hsi crushing weight.

Hit or miss, the manuever sends cars lurching and the entire tunnel quaking with dust falling from the celing and cracks racing through the streets on all travel lanes...

"Yeah, there we go--we got 'em right where we want 'em, Chloe!" Lilith says this, but her tone is wavering and faltering, she doesn't sound like she's doing too good--she sounds concussed, actually, still, and that's /with/ her inhuman physiology and body makeup. The world is still sort of shifting and sliding before her, making it look like there's two different Kongous at times. Imagine something like that--the gravitational laws of physics would not sustain under it~

As Kongou attempts to grab her with those massive mitts and arms of hers--he'd find he grapples only air, at first.

"Oh hey, looking for somethin', big guy?" the 3" red stiletto heeled boots of Lilith are actually standing /on/ those big mighty mitts of his for just a moment, her agility having allowed her to jump up onto his arms rather than get grabbed. She backflips off and as she rights herself those red wings of hers flare out again--this time one on the right shining with a deadly power as she attempts to bring it up and across his front as he might still be trying to come down on her in that suplex!

"Shining Blade!"

Chloe approves of careful choreography. She demands nothing but perfection from her dancing crew. She and Lilith had no rehearsals to drill their performance but sometimes things just work out.

Cupping her hand to her ear, Chloe turns up the volume on her music track, causing Sugar <3 Service to sound out all around the tunnel. It's the song that has a video which she and Lilith took inspiration from for their costumes during the Fightfest Festival back in the Southtown springtime.

Lucky grins back at Kongou and then watches as he rises above her with Lilith in his sights. Chaos unfolds as cars crash and the cement of the structure starts to crack.

Somehow though, Lilith manages to avoid the big guy's grasp. Not only this but she comes right back at him. Deciding to take advantage of him being distracted, Chloe comes up behind Kongou and brings both of her paws together, planning to bash them down on whichever part of him she can reach!

Concrete sprays as Kongou's feet impact the pavement and the behemoth slides backwards under the pressure of the attacks being laid upon him. The shining blade arcs into him as his fists grasp naught but air, throwing the momentum of his pile driver and suplex attempt and the brute staggers, eyes blinking in surprise as his body reels from the assault and gets even more battered. The haze that has settled on him continues to distort his senses and drag his immensity downward with the weight of fatigue but bit by bit he's recovering. If it'll be enough to deal with both attackers, however, is another question...

He huffs slightly, chest swelling and eyes glowing as he recovers his sense of balance and locks his eyes onto Lilith once more.

His legs flex, another crater pushing into the ground now from the pressure of his immense power. It seems that he's given up on that whole 'one arm behind his back' nonsense.

A grin spreads across his features, eyes now shining with a haze that glows both crimson and purple as his physique swells and bulks up into rising mountains of sinew. He leans forward - like a football player preparing for a dash... and then

*KTHOOOM*

The area shakes again - another shockwave rocketing outward as the lack of wisdom in placing the match in this location is once again evident. He goes surging in, lowering his shoulder to intend for a monumental crash into Lilith liek an uncoming semi truck...

And instead slams violently into Lucky Chloe who unluckily got in the way as her attack comes in. Kongou's impact kicks off another shockwave as he thunders to a stop and the full force of his blow is redirected into the pop-star. The ground around them both peels back like the layer of an orange and Lucky Chloe is sent hurtling away.

"Bwuah!?" rumbles Kongou, "Ah, oops!"

[LILITH]
"Oh no!" Lilith calls out after she sees the titanic hit that Chloe just takes then--after striking Kongou with her wing and coming back down a short distance away. Chloe had fought like a damn trooper--and now it was apparently all up to her.

"Well... big guy, looks like it's just you..." she panted hard, "...And me," she shook her head, probably sounding like there's something rattling around in there--which for how ditzy Lilith could be nowadays in general, there might even be more so rattling around in there than usual!

Coming up from one of Kongou's flanks as she attempts to latch onto one of his tree trunk-sized legs, her wings flinging back as both formed themselves into scythe blades--trying to strike inward and slice into him!

"Give us a hug~"

The giant's grin unsettles Chloe. For someone who looks saccharine sweet on the surface, she is actually a very mentally tough young woman. You don't get to her position at such a young age without showing some steel. But this look, she knows now that Kongou means business.

The blonde braces herself. Very briefly she thinks she might get away with it, when he seems to be moving towards Lilith instead. But no, she isn't so lucky and as Kongou crashes into her, she knows that she's not going to be standing for much longer.

She staggers, she shakes and then she strikes! On her way down, she seeks to deliver a lightning fast roundhouse punch, sending Kongou into the air and then continuing with a spinning motion that will see her follow him there!

Lucky then lashes out with a rising snap kick with her right leg before spinning around again into a flying roundhouse kick and then finishes off with a backhand smack with her paw.

Whether her impressive combo is successful isn't something she will know till afterwards. The energy she puts in to it exhausts the last of her resources and she hits the ground of the tunnel hard. Her eyelashes flutter closed and her musical soundtrack comes to an abrupt stop.

"You've done well but I think this battle is over!"

That may be famous last words but Kongou does seem to be up and still grinning, full toothed, as he straightens up to turn to receive their attacks.

Granted he -is- looking... 'less'? It's hard to say. He has bruises and seems battered' but there's a sense of a lessening of him spiritually, as if his vast bulk and the energies that make him so have been stressed and strained and are approaching their limits. If things twist or turn they -might- yet win the day...

But unfortunately - though Lilith's blades once more bite into his immense form, he spins and turns his hand forward, palm facing out, and with it catches and absorbs Lucky Chloe's final attack. A thunderous *BOOM* echoes out in all directions as she slams into him, with his body being an immovable fortress wall that holds its ground and then turns away as her body recoils backwards from the impact.

He then swings that same hand around, moving for Lilith to try and slam it into her own torso with explosive force and then push her upwards violently towards the ceiling above them.

His height means that such a task well within his grasp even with the height of the tunnel ceiling being what it is. The force of his impact will slam violently into the cement however, sending a shockwave lurching up through the structure to the streets themselves, far above, and leave a handprint. Normally the attempt woudl have possibly sent her hurtling -through- it, or high into the skies but Kongou -yet- restrains himself.

Barely...

Lilith's wing-blades cut through Kongou--one of them sliding through her lips before returning to it's normal wing shape--yes, there was a reason they were called succubi--she did just take a taste of his blood. And the face she made was one of utter ecstasy--though just for a moment.

"Whew--" Lilith turns, now back to normal from that little dark 'moment' just as Kongou comes down with a shuddering impact on the concrete. The force is enough to likely blow out some tires of parked vehicles nearby and shatter some windows, with Lilith thrown to the ground. She winds up bringing herself back to her knees--pulling herself up with a shuddering, quaking motion to her body--as if she was unrelenting in her persistence to stand again, but the muscles were not willing--and she had to fight to make them obey her.

Eventually, she wins.

"Alright... lets finish this one with a bang~" Lilith surges with energy again--her feet lifting off the floor as she flutters her wings and heads right toward Kongou--and if she makes contact, lashing out with a flurry of punches, kicks and slashes from her wings!

A bang indeed. More like a *BOOOM*

The Boom resulting from a sudden impact as the behemoth is suddenly there, in her way, and in a way that supercedes the timing of her attacks. It really shouldn't be possible for him to move this fast -- and yet...

"Grand finale!" booms Kongou as his massive chest fills up Lilith's field of vision. His body roots itself and he allows his mammoth body to become the literal definition of the immovable object. His hulking physique bracing and then afterwards pushing forward slightly as his chest expands outwards and his arms lift slightly. Yet another, and hopefully final shockwave ripples out from them as the impact occurs and Kongou holds steady .. and then forces the demoness backwards from the counter force that occurs post impact.

The ground behind him buckles and shreds upwards but at least, much to the relief of the fight organizers no doubt, the match is over...

[LILITH]
The unstoppable succubit meets the immovable object--in this case, it's a giant fist flying for her, again--even if Lilith's wings might flare out to slash at the arm that comes her way, there is still no stopping this incredible force coming her way.

"Tem..."

Lilith can feel the atmosphere boiling around her as Kongou's fist draws near, with the speed of a comet, there's only one other thing she can try to do now--but it means basically detonating herself, which is exactly what she does...

--"tation!" Lilith's entire body surges with shining green energy--her clothes first dissolving magical girl style into a cloud of bats--and then the rest of her body... disintegrates. The soul bats fluttering around her of course still head straight for Kongou, as they do.

"Oh hoh!"

Kongou thought that the last assault would be all she wrote - but it would seem Lilith still has some spice in her

Maybe too much spice? She seems to be...disappearing all together. Well that isn't right or normal.

The giant purses his lips but holds his ground, seemingly regaining solidity and presence. Pressure that had been stripped from him before returning. Returning so much that his massive chest swells, his nostrils flare and then he opens his mouth and exhales a vast blast of aetheric infused air that blasts forth into the incoming eruption of energy.

And disrupts it.

What remains explodes into his form but batters across his colossal physique like water against a fortress wall. Whatever flash of inspiration hit him...probably saved him and kept this from being a knock out for all involved but when all is said and done - as the last of the mystic energy passes...

The behemoth stands victorious. If -barely-.

"Well done!" he exclaims again, "Now -that- was fun! At least for me..." His eyes hood as he looks over the broken and battered fighting area and upon seeing the tunnel still intact and not collapsing the giant rumbles, "You see! As promised, I held back!"

He then grins and starts to step out of the fighting area. What's this? Is he moving with a bit of a slow limp and hobble? It would seem so! The ladies did indeed do a number on him but in the end only one remains standing.

Lilith does actually reform... after a bit, anyway, and looking sufficiently comatose--and thankfully not naked, like she had just been before the whole... disintegration thing. Yeah, succubi's bodies are a bit malleable like that, their bodies are part of the ether to a certain extent. Either way, Lilith is alive, somehow--lying on the floor of the ring, looking worse for wear, eyes likely swirlies or the like, because it's Lilith.

Good fight, good night~ whoever and whatever you are, out there~
