Match of the Millennium

Description: As a promotional stunt put on by her label, pop idol Lucky Chloe has agreed (contractually) to put on a performance in the same maid outfit that she wears in the video for her single, 'Sugar <3 Service'! Strangely, no one told her opponent that she had to dress up as a maid, but Lilith will be doing so anyway! We're sure that this will be a good, clean fight!

[LUCKY CHLOE]
Lucky Chloe does not have happy memories of the International Fighting Festival. The last time it was running in 2023, she'd secured a stall to sign autographs and merchandise for her fans, as well as taking selfies with the lucky few willing and able to pay the extra fee for the privilege. Then along came Lyraelle Lightheart, lording it over her and acting like the spoilt bitch that she is. She'd had the audacity to try and insist that it was her stall. The two drama queens had faced off, leaving the feline themed idol with her tail between her legs.

With no current music commitments and her boyfriend Brian Storm back in Sunshine City visiting his family, Chloe had agreed to give the festival another go. Besides, the organisers had suggested that she and her opponent Lilith could theme their costumes for the fight around the video for Lucky Chloe's last single, Sugar <3 Service. It had been released last September and the streaming hits were starting to fall off, so perhaps the brawl could give it a boost and send it soaring back up the charts.

Lucky has arrived bright and early for her match. She can't abide being late. In her mind it is the ultimate form of disrespect and shows poor discipline and diligence. Whilst she's been waiting she's been checking out the various attractions of the festival - martial arts exhibitions, food themed around different stars of the fighting world and an array of clothing accessories, including her own signature cat headphones. Not that there's any sign of them today.

Her costume for this match consists of a black flared mini dress with a frilly white apron over the top. The apron has black bows at the hips and four baby pink buttons in the centre of its bodice. White collar, cuffs and shoulder ruffles add extra flourishes to the outfit and a pretty pink bow hangs from the collar. On the crown of her long blonde hair is a white frilled headband with a baby pink bow on either side. One thing that hasn't changed from her usual ensemble are the pair of pink and white high top sneakers, with black strap fastenings on her feet. High heels may look cuter but it's important that Chloe is able to dance!

As Sugar <3 Service starts to play, Lucky Chloe leaps up the steps that lead to the stage. She begins to do the routine to the video, performing it perfectly. The only thing missing are her backing dancers.

Lilith Aensland had realized, even with her rather young and innocent demeanor nowadays--that humans tended react far less negatively if she didn't do obviously supernatural or superhuman things in front of them so casually. Thus, she bounds into the arena already wearing the costume she was told was necessary for this match. Well, it's not the /same/ costume, exactly, it's very similar to Chloe's except blue where her's was pink--Lilith colors, you understand, her choice of such is an important distinction from her sister's--and not just y'know, rising up out of the floor in front of her opponent as succubi were wont to do. She has however, formred her version of it out of her soul bats, which is another thing succubi were known for doing--but that was when folk's backs were turned, and thus it might have just caused some... temporary confusion as to how she changed so quickly.

"Hiii!" Lilith gave a little wave once she was closer to Chloe in the arena. Her thigh-highs were also black, but she had a pair of low-heeled red shin-length boots on. Yes, Chloe was smarter and more practical, but Lilith wanted to be cute, damnit~

"Oh wow, we're already doing a video, hold on!" Lilith attempts to imitate the moves of a backup dancer somewhat convincingly, falling in alongside Chloe, her purple pixie cut of hair bouncing along. She seemed pretty amused with this whole thing, then again it had been pretty slow at the host club where she worked nowadays--so this was a nice change of pace.

Lucky Chloe watches as Lilith bounds over to the stage. She kinda reminds the pop idle of an excited puppy. "Hiii! "The blonde girl mimics. "You got the memo then? The costume suits you."

When Lilith takes her place on the stage, Chloe looks over her shoulder, giving an approving nod at her opponent. "Not bad at all. Your hair is cute too. I might give you a call if I need someone new for my crew."

The pussycat inspired popstar starts to do some simple stretches on the stage. "You know, it's been quite a while since I've seen any action in the ring." She admits. "Hopefully I remember my steps!

She begins to giggle girlishly. "So what do you say? Are you ready to dance with me?" She takes a step closer to the succubus looking her directly in the eyes.

"Oh this? oh I wear stuff like this /all the time/," Lilith waves it off a little, still grinning and apparently quite amused by this whole thing. She's still like a kid in some ways, new and strange things fascinate her, at least for a little while--compared to how jaded some of the older succubi can get. You do /not/ want to have them go over their life stories!

"Oh right," Lilith put a thumb to her lips and blew on it--the two sets of red wings appearing out of her back and the sides of her head with a comical popping noise!

"Don't worry, I've had lessons~" Lilith grinned and the larger wings popping out of the back of the maid dress quickly formed themselves into large hand shapes, moving over to try to 'clap' Chloe between them!

It would appear the gauntlet had been cast. Or well, the weird metamorphic succubus wing appendange.

"Oh me too. I wear costumes like this all the time for my performances and such. Not so much when I'm just hanging out though. If I want to go incognito, it's not the best idea. Sweatpants, a wig and a cap over that usually helps!" Lucky confides in Lilith.

As the wings pop up, Chloe seems genuinely surprised. "Huh, would you look at that?" She muses. She's so busy being dazzled by this new development that she tries to protect herself just a beat too late.

For the first time in her life, Lucky Chloe is displeased with being given a round of applause. As the clapping hands connect with her fit frame, she finds herself caught between them and clobbered pretty hard.

"Ow!" She yells. "You fight kinda dirty for such a cute looking thing. Lets make things happy again!"

Twisting her body around, Chloe spins forward rapidly, aiming to deliver a quick-fire series of horizontal chops at Lilith's midsection.

"I thought you were ready!" Lilith is legitimately surprised at this--as well as wincing even at how Chloe seemed to have been found a bit flatfooted by her sudden attack. That looked like it wasn't pleasant even to her.

"Jeez I'll give you more warning next time!" Lilith then retracts her arms and hops back, the 'arms' likely in the process of reforming into wings when Chloe pounces! She is able to clumsily absorb some of the strikes but one knifehand chop makes it to her side, giving her quite the sting of pain.

"Oof!--" she pushes her booted feet off the ground, her wings reforming and the maid-dressed succubus raises her hand--directing what looked like a green glowing soul bat ringed with green and pink diamonds toward her opponent!

The bat fluttered it's wings mightily! ...only to go forward at a bit of a depressing speed. Don't worry, it'll get there, eventually--before it winks out, hopefully!

"I was ready. Kinda." Chloe pouts. There's a smile playing on her pretty pink lips though. "No need for any warnings. I take full responsibility for any errors I make. Winners accept their mistakes and learn from them."

Chloe's chop fest doesn't have quite the desired impact but at least she caused Lilith to feel something. What's this though? "Weird!" Lucky calls out loudly. Seeing the strange object slowly making it's way towards her, the dancer has time to spring back on to her hands, resting them on the ground as she pushes her feet upwards to fend it off. Alas not quite fully, as the green glowing creation catches her on her ankle bone. "How do you do that?" She wonders, pushing back to a standing position.

Stepping forwards, the popstar pushes out her left leg, seeking to snap kick Lilith in the stomach. If this provides enough pain and distraction, she'll follow up with an overhand chop to the purple-haired woman's head.

"Yeah, that's the problem with those guys, they don't fly so fast... aheh," Lilith sheepishly grins and shrugs there, but those red booted eet of hers are already moving as she tilts herelf to sidestep and blade away from the kick to her midsection, which meets air.

"Huh? I'm a succubus!" Lilith says this as if this explains everything, when Chloe asks her a question. She couldn't avoid doing supernatural stuff in a fight, was the problem... Naturally there'd be questions. She just hoped her boss didn't find out--or any of the clients at the host club!

As she was so close though, she'd attempt to grab Chloe with those big arms turned into wings, bear-hugging her while spinning her around.

"Don't worry I'm not allergic to cats!"

"You should force them to train harder so they can fly faster." The sugary singer suggests. "I drill my backing dancers till they're step perfect."

Lilith comfortably deals with Chloe's sneaker coming her way, leaving the popstar feeling frustrated. "You're good at this." She compliments, though her expression is looking on the serious side.

"I think someone I fought used to be a succubus of sorts." Lucky muses. "Lyraelle Lightheart. I'm not sure if you know her. She had wings too but they'd vanished before our match. It's all slightly strange."

When Lilith reaches out to get a grip of the blonde girl, she attempts to leap out of reach. Before she can get to a safe distance however, Lucky Chloe finds herself wrapped up in the wings and spinning around in circles. "Ugggh!" She shrieks. "It might be better for me if you did have an allergy!"

Considering her next move, Chloe rocks onto her back foot, and then claps her hands together before rearing back. She then steps towards Lilith and starts to twirl again, this time on her own terms, as she attempts to double-axe-handle smash the succubus into the air!

"I guess I do spoil them," Lilith smiles a little but shrugs a bit. Chloe is definitely right there, but while Morrigan's were her victims over the years that are pretty much just happy to be there, most of the ones Lilith has now are ones she's picked up a bit more... opportunistically. Like that gang member that time she met Frost, or the one time a guy keeled over from a massive heart attack in the host club. They probably weren't as happy as Morrigan's, since most of hers were infatuated with her, but they sorta can't complain too much either. Being a succubus was... complicated.

After spinning Chloe around and letting her go, she miscalculates how long it would take Chloe to get her balance back, instead leaving her open for that two-fisted smash that sends her flying into the air, a bit of blood flying from her nose!

"Ack!" Lilith actualy is knocked up into the air, skirt fluttering, as does her wings as she attempts to try herself, eyes wide and watery from the sting of the blow and landing as one of her wing arms swing out to try and clap back at Chloe!

Is that a satisfied smirk on the singer's face when she draws blood from Lilith? Perhaps. The pussycat popstar definitely has a cruel streak, especially if she senses prey. She's also smart though and it would be foolish to write off Lilith just because Lucky has landed a hit. She's sure there's plenty more to come from the succubus.

When the wing tries to clap her, Chloe reacts more quickly this time. It does manage to catch her slightly, but it doesn't quite have the force it could have had.

Shouting out "One, two!", Lucky Chloe does a dancing low kick to the shins and then lifts her left leg over her head before trying to drop it down on the crown of Lilith's head!

"You really liked that, didn't ya~" Lilith grins a little bit, as the succubus can perhaps sense Chloe's satisfaction at the drawing of FIRST BLOOD there, so to speak. Or maybe it's just an educated guess.

Lilith's wing hand meanwhile bounces off of Lucky Chloe's defensive manuever, the young succubus blinking a little as she's impressed the other maid outfit-clad fighter is so tough. Lilith herself is sort of the poster child for 'looks can be deceiving' however, of course.

There is an eye sparkle from Lilith as Chloe may find her leg actually pre-emptively gripped by that wing hand that Lilith had out, though, and the grip is solid enough to keep the popstar in place and block her attack. "How about I bring a backup dancer, too?~" Lilith then SURGED with a prismatic aura of energy, her form seeming to split with one mirror image of Maid Lilith appearing directly behind Chloe as the two of them broke out into a flurry of strikes and kicks--a few wing blades thrown in there for good measure.

As the Lilith clone shows up to add to the ass kicking, Chloe complains. "I'm starting to think this festival is cursed. I always seem to take a beating here. Well, both times it's been on anyway."

Gathering herself, the Lucky lass looks carefully at Lilith, seeming to be studying every inch of her. The truth is she's mostly just biding time. She's in a pretty bad way and another wobble could send the singer sprawling to the mat.

Despite her many faults, something that Lucky Chloe isn't is a quitter. No matter how much the odds seem stacked against her in this brutal battle, she is going to carry on regardless.

The sound of "Here we go!" is yelled, causing the Chloe fans in the crowd to go wild. They know exactly what's coming next! Turning around and dropping down on her hands, the bouncy blonde starts to rapidly breakdance, kicking out at Lilith repeatedly with her outstretched legs before trying to kick her into the air with both feet.

If this pays off and Lilith comes down to land, Lucky Chloe will leap into the air with a victorious shout of "Oh yeah!!" while thrusting her right fist triumphantly upward - just in time to smash it into Lilith's descending body. If she has cause to celebrate, Chloe will bring her hand up to her ear, as if listening to the cheers from the crowd. It's not quite as cute without her usual cat paws!

Lilith ends the flurry of blows and almost has a 'oh shit, what did I do' look on her face when she's realized the destruction she's caused here, figuratively. The Lilith clone behind Lucky Chloe winks out as the energy surge is over, the young succubus looking over at the popstar with a 'are you okay?' look on her face. She doesn't know her own strength--which is dangerous when you're a supernatural predator.

The succubus can feel the other fighter's own energy surging though, and she's still got that 'Oh shitshitshit' look on her face as she dances as if playing hotfoot, avoiding the various leg sweeps and strikes from Chloe's literal breakdancing--finally getting knocked off her feet and hard enough to wind up swinging herself upside down, inverted--with Lucky Chloe bearing down on her, fist raised.

By this point, Lilith is yelling loudly in fear as to what's about to happen to her. She'd be coming down to land very dangerously on her head, not to mention the incoming blow from LC, which is going to PUMMEL her and splatter her over the stage. But then, as the blow is about to connect...

Lilith turns into bats, reforming momentarily right-side up, and standing on her head. She quickly looked down at herself, checking for any injuries--none found.

"Sweet Jesus was I worried--she wiped her brow, frowning a bit as she brought one of her wing hands up again and tried to bring it down on Chloe, balled into a fist.

Lucky Chloe isn't really mad. Certainly not with Lilith anyway. The only person she blames for her poor performance is herself.

Even when her legendary attack fails to land, Lucky sucks it up, keeping a smile on her face for her fans.

Turning into bats is a masterstroke, something way beyond the scope of the pussycat performer. Her fighting technique mostly comes from hard training and dance skills. Supernatural effects are way beyond her skillset.

"That was incredible." Chloe admits, having an urge to applaud the move. There's no time for that though because Lilith is back on the attack again, this time using her weapon wing as a ferocious fist.

With a rapid reaction, Chloe brings her hands up to protect her upper body, causing them to crash into the fist! It would have been a lot worse if it'd struck her clean but in her current state it causes her to wince nonetheless.

Lucky is sensing that she's on her last legs now, so she needs to make her next manoeuvre count. She rushes towards Lilith with lightning-speed, attempting to knock her into the air with a roundhouse punch. She then starts to spin, following the demoness upwards and aiming a rising snap kick in her direction.

She's not finished yet though. Starting to spin again, Chloe throws out her leg in a flying roundhouse kick before adding a backhanded smack for good measure!

"Yeah... the Aenslands are known for that," Lilith smiles a little, feeling the adrenaline begin to drain from her system. If she /has/ a system, the way we know systems, anyway. She is a succubus--there was some concern of what parts of her were even truly physical. Like the wings, or the boots--they could change shape, so what the heck, right?

Lilith then blinks as she's caught flat-footed--being knocked into the air by that roundhouse swing--the paintrain has come for Lilith--and she's riding it! Choo choo~

"Augh--eek--oof! Ack!" Lilith is met by the snap kick to her mid-section, nearly folding over it entirely as Chloe spins again and roundhouse kicks her sending her spinning--then finished with that last smack to leave her dizzy.

"Oooh... anyone get the number of that catbus?" she shakes her head, getting the cobwebs out of it before brushing a line of blood that had run from her nose. Next, she reaches up with her actual arms this time, trying to take Lucky Chloe by the shoulders of that maid outfit, and tries to pull her close. Now, this will be probably snapshotted and go down in the annals of fanservice for the both of them, but the real gag here is how Lilith is bringing her wings down in on Chloe's back as she's trying to press her in this embrace to strike her--cut, stab, pierce, crush, whatever it might be.

Chloe feels somewhat relieved that she's finally managed to cause Lilith some further pain and punishment. The sounds of her crying out, whilst not comforting, lets Lucky know she's not totally out of the match yet.

"The catbus was lucky number seven." The popstar says playfully, placing her hand on her hip. As she does, an unseen speaker is activated and her song Sugar <3 Service starts to play.

The dance diva shifts into performance mode, showing off her fancy footwork. When the arms come in to grab her shoulders, she doesn't even miss a step, slipping out of Lilith's grasp before she can get a good grip on her.

Waving her hands in the air, Chloe begins to gather energy, sparkling with purple chi as she starts to spin rapidly, lifting her off the ground. From here she will drop down, aiming to smash her foot into Lilith's head!

"Aieee!" Lilith blinks as she's realized she has /not/ caught Lucky Chloe, and is definitely looking up at her now as she comes down--stomping her right on the head as she lands! Oof--Lilith buckles and actually folds downward, her rear end and back hitting the floor of the arena, a bit like a lawn chair. Groggily rising to her feet, she's surprised as anyone at the comeback here.

"Oof... Well, only thing left to do now--" she cricks her neck, steadies her shoulders, and VOOM--all the soul bats making up that maid outfit, her boots and wings suddenly EXPLODE outward from her body around her and Chloe--trying to catch the pop star in it as they whirl around her like a twister--before reforming on her body and Lilith just... gently falls? Yeah, that blow to the head really put her out of it, she falls back onto the mat, defeated.

"Lucky Chloe!" The feline idol shouts out her own name as she lands the kick to Lilith's head.

The perky pop performer is more than proud that she's managed to pull this back. It had seemed like she was going to suffer an embarrassing beat down but this is now not looking too bad at all, whatever the result turns out to be.

Lilith falls to the floor of the festival stage, but she doesn't stay down for long. It seems she's got more to throw at Chloe, and it's very dramatic!

The exploding bats cause the blonde to cry out. As they start to surround her, she attempts to jump clear of them but instead starts to be spun wildly around till she crashes to the mat, right down beside her opponent.

"Owwww!" Groans Chloe as her music track abruptly comes to a halt when the speaker is smacked by the impact. "I think I might be done." She looks across at Lilith and sees she seems to be in a similar state.

"The result is a draw!" The referee announces, signalling to the crowd.

"That was a fun fight, Lilith. Thanks for putting me through my paces." The pussycat popstar says. "Now I don't know about you, but I could do with a soda."
