Match of the Millennium

Description: Ayala and Sarah face off in the historic site of Chichen Itza for a spot in the NFG Season 2 Championship tournament!

"Wooo--here we go, Ayala back in NFG!" the cavewoman grinned, flexing her muscles and making a bit of a spectacle for the crowd and cameras, that long curly blonde hair thrown back. She was in her gray fur bikini+skirt with the long tail scarf outfit again. She could wear other clothes, sure--but she liked to fight in this. And it was good representation perhaps. Also it helped commit to the bit and cement her tribal thing, at least folks /thought/ it was a gimmick, anyway. It really wasn't--she was actually a cavewoman, but she didn't see the need or care to explain that.

The rippling muscles, abs and bountiful bust instead explained she wanted folks to know, especially when properly oiled or sweating and it hit the light just right. She was proud of her body, damnit~

[SARAH]
The NFG isn't quite over just yet, for better or for worse.

Sarah had sustained some serious injuries during what had happened near the end of everything. Fortunately, the NFG has some of the best medical staff and technology in the world, meaning Sarah just needed a little rest before she was back to her old self. You'd never think she was in the fight of her life based on how she looks now.

Unlike Ayala, who's showing her muscles and flexing for the cameras, Sarah makes a running entry, dashing into the area and then doing a diving somersault onto the ground, rolling a few times before coming to a kneeling position and giving a thumbs up. From there, the blonde-haired tomboy stands up and dusts herself off a little, although it seems more like a comedic gesture than anything.

After that, Sarah takes off her cap and holds it in front of her. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is DJ Supernova here, and I can tell you it's good to be back!" She twirls her cap on her finger. "I've got to see I didn't expect to be fighting again so soon, but here I am. And remember, win or lose, it doesn't matter, because every fight is a new learning experience! It's all about doing your best!" With that, she puts her cap back on her head and smiles. She then does a brief twirl on one foot (which has to hurt given that she's doing it in her bare feet, but she doesn't seem to mind.)

After that, Sarah looks towards Ayala and smirks with a look of intrigue on her face. "She looks like quite the interesting opponent. I wonder what her fighting style is like?" With that, Sarah adjusts the visor of her cap a little before doing some light warming up and stretching.

And so, in Chitchen Itza, DEFINITELY NOT Zack island anymore, the two are finally able to meet face to face.

Ayala has not run into Sarah before, heck, she's not run into a lot of the newer NFG people--and she had only just met Braun not that long ago. She quits the flexing and showing off as she comes running and jumping in--walking around to size her up.

"It not boy, yeah?" Ayala looks over Sarah with some interested concern, before shrugging. "Ayala like strong people, man or woman, so," she grins, this sentiment has been heard from her in the past during interviews, and likely spurred no lack of gossip and insinuation in tabloids.

"Ayala only concerned if Supernova can fight," she grinned wider, cracking knuckles and nodding to her opponent in affirmation, let the best man win and all that--or the best lady in this case. "Ayala no care about who win or lose either--we fight and have fun--" she moves into position across from Sarah and bends her knees, fists balled but looking like a cat about to spring up and bound at the girl. if Sarah had thought Ayala's fighting style was 'beastly' then she'd be right!

Ayala does indeed spring herself up and begins running in a half-run, half-scarper towards Supernova there--her palms making contact with the dry ground as she pushes herself up and lands right next to the girl, before whipping herself up and around--that tail scarf following as she projects chi energy outward from her body, like a little mini shockwave!

So it's Chichen Itza, not Zack Island.

Still, it's a nice place to fight. Maybe after the fight Sarah will get some tacos?

For now let's focus on the fight at hand.

"Of course I'm not a boy!" Sarah says with a giggle. "I'm a girl! And I can be quite strong too."

As Ayala continues to size up Sarah, the blonde-haired disk jockey grins as well. "Oh, I can definitely fight. I've fought many oppponents and I'm always looking to improve my skills." She remains in the ginga, watching Ayala for her first move.

Ayala's first attack is quite unique to say the least. She wasn't expecting this unique fighter to use her scarf to attack Sarah, but here it is. Instinctively, Sarah's arms come up to block the incoming attack. "Whoa! That's a neat trick!" Sarah says as she deflects the incoming scarf attack. "I have to say, whoever taught you that was quite skilled!"

Once she recovers from the impact, Sarah returns to the ginga and continues to move from side to side, watching Ayala carefully. "You are quite the unique fighter, and I love it! The more unique fighting styles I can experience, the better off!" With that, Sarah spins once but doesn't attack. Then she spins again and attempts a sweeping kick with her right leg.

"Hey, Ayala not sure sometimes--this world strange to her still!" Ayala shoots back, before her shockwave goes off--standing there leaving herself fairly open for what Sarah comes back with--blinking at her spinning. "Ayala make up her style--self-taught!" she brings her arms up to block--the kick from Sarah's right leg hitting her elbows with a little grimace of pain from the cavewoman. She had some legs on her, for sure.

Problem was, so did Ayala.

Ayala tips backward and goes into a handstand, of all things--her legs spreading and lashing out to try and grab Sarah in a kind of scissor throw sort of manuever--attempting to send her tumbling over her!

The cameras of course are pretty intent on capturing this.

"Quite a strange world indeed!" Sarah comments with a smile as she returns to the ginga, eager to see what Ayala will try next. She's got quite the unique skillset and she's eager to see what Ayala will do next.

Perhaps a bit _too_ eager.

When Sarah sees Ayala go into a handstand, Sarah tries to move to the side, but she has no idea that Ayala is going to grab her with her legs. Unfortunately, that's what happens, and poor Sarah goes tumbling!

It hurts quite a bit, leaving Sarah slightly stunned for a moment as she tries to process what just happened. "Nnngh... mum... are the goldfish going to school today?" She babbles as she comes back to the world of the living. "Oooh..."

Once Sarah returns to her stance, she nods a little. "Quite an impressive technique. Let me show you one of my own!" With that, Sarah seems to throw forth a projectile of chi that resembles a large butterfly. Only this butterfly isn't friendly!

There is a roar from the crowd and Ayala lets herself partially fall forward after throwing Sarah so that she's able to roll fluidly onto her back and butt and then jump back up to her feet in a fluid motion. She sees DJ Supernova there go tumbling, turning down to give an almost R.Mika-esque slap to her flank with a saucy grin on her face.

And then... ooh, butterfly.

The cavewoman blinks and looks at it like someone with OCD might gaze upon bubblewrap--all those crackly air pockets to snap! She only realizes it's a chi projectile when it gets closer to her--and she does not get her guard up in time. Ow.

"Aiee!" she shrieks a little, almost too loudly for her own liking--winding up staggering back and seeing some butterflies of her own, after that.

Shaking it off, Ayala growls a little and her lips draw back in a snarl, launching herself at Sarah once again--this time with her hands hooked into claws and gnashing her teeth as she proceeds to try and maul the girl like a wild animal!

The good news is that Sarah landed her attack.

The bad news is that it seems to have sent Ayala into a frenzy!

Sarah's a bit cautious here, but her caution isn't quite enough. Before she can react, Ayala has gotten a hold of her and is mauling her. "Aieee! Get off!" It's rather painful being bitten, but Sarah manages to get Ayala off of her.

"Wow, that wasn't something I'd expect," She comments as she looks at the spot where she was bitten, noticing some blood coming out. "That's not good." Gritting her teeth through the pain after wiping some of the blood away, Sarah approaches Ayala again.

"It seems you're quite the unpredictable one, and I have to say that's quite an interesting thing." Sarah then drops down onto one hand, spinning around with her leg outstretched like a human tornado. How does she do that on her bare hand?

Sarah perhaps did not expect to wake up today and have a blonde cavewoman nomph onto her in such a way, but that is quite what happens as the tribal woman latches on, looking none too happy about it.

Ayala winds up with a thread of Sarah's shirt stuck in her teeth, which she has to spit out with a shake of her head, the sun briefly eclipsed by the temple standing behind them in the distance.

"Not expect? it kind of Ayala's thing," she shrugged, adding, "Ayala think Supernova curious too~" she brings her arm up just in time to stop the outstretched leg, grimacing hard before stepping back, trying to get her bearings. A bead of sweat rolled down her forehead, mixing with the dust and blood from earlier--she was getting winded just a bit.

However, instead of launching into something more complex or thought out, Ayala just attempts to give the girl a good haymaker with her right arm as she gets back to her feet.

The shirt doesn't look too appetizing, so Sarah isn't surprised that AYala is spitting out the thread. Then again, unless you're a moth, why would you want to eat a t-shirt?

Sarah watches as her trademark attack doesn't quite hit as well as it could have. She shrugs a little before getting back into the ginga.

"I am a bit curious about things, yes," Sarah comments as she takes on a defensive stance while anticipating another incoming attack. "You are quite the unique fighter."

A simple haymaker punch? Talk about going back to simple things. How about a simple block to go with it? Well, it's not quite simple because Sarah staggers back after absorbing the blow through her forearms.

Stumbling back a bit too far, perhaps...

Or it could be because she's attempting to give herself a good run-up as she does a forwards dive onto the ground. Rolling along the ground, Sarah attempts to pop up and strike Ayala with an uppercut.

Ayala cringes as her haymaker bounces off the girl's shoulder, having hit her unrelenting bone and not anything soft. Kinda hurt.

"Need to get rougher with Ayala--you could have hit me there!" Ayala tilts her head when the girl simply stands there, but then she blinks her eyes wide when Sarah begins to run at her after the attempt was made. Ayala runs as well--charging right for DJ Supernova and leaping--leaping right as Sarah comes out of the roll and springs up--her leg extended to kick the girl right as she came up--impacting with the girl as the two of them twist and tumble to the ground after.

Ayala does take a rough tumble afterwards, to be sure, the momentum of Sarah not totally absorbed and she picks herself up bruised after.

[SARAH]
WHAM! Sarah gets hit just as she comes up. And off she goes, rolling again...

Only this time she's tumbling without any control. She's been hit mighty hard. When she finally recovers, Sarah's looking a bit winded. "Ungh... fish and chips... not for me..." A pause, and Sarah slaps herself a couple of times.

"Wow, it seems I've truly underestimated you. But don't think this is over!" With that, Sarah returns to the ginga and advances carefully, then she suddenly attempts to strike Ayala with a cartwheel that's intended to stun her. From there, if she successfully hits, she'll deliver a modified version of her spinning kick from earlier, then deliver an uppercut infused with chi!

"Ayala hurt almost as bad from that--" she shakily brought herself back up, having landed with a bit of a crack. She dodges to the left and right first, not sure what Sarah is going to do with the cartwheel--only to realize too late and the woman does not come out of the cartwheel to strike her, which she had been expecting. Instead Ayala is barreled right into, leaving her wavering as the spinning kick lands across her midsection and then she's thrown back by the upper cut--sending flailing back and landing on her back, ass over teakettle.

"Ow," Ayala moans from the ground of the temple, sitting up ala the Undertaker and checking to make sure her jaw isn't broken before flipping herself back up.

"Supernova hit hard, but so can Ayala~" the cavewoman jerked her elbow back and stepped toward the tomboy, throwing her right arm and fist at Sarah again and again, in a flurry!

Somehow, Sarah managed to land her signature attack.

Unsurprisingly, Ayala manages to land her attack against Sarah. She's punched again... and again... and again...

And then the punches stop. Despite being badly injured, Sarah's still going. "Ooh... that was a new one on me." Sarah says as she grits her teeth through the pain from those punches.

In an attempt to try to regain some footing, Sarah attempts to grapple Ayala and deliver a Capoiera-style takedown.

"Ayala make you dizzy?" she inclines her head toward the girl, blinking a little, as if amazed she was having that kind of impact on Sarah... well, several, in this case.

She's still wide-eyed when Sarah grabs her and spins her into a hard bodyslam like that--or well, she's not sure what it's called in Capoiera, exactly... she just knows she winds up on the ground with the wind knocked out of her. She rolls away.

"Oof, Ayala hurt after that," she picks herself up, beginning to glow with what looked like lime green chi. Green-eyed monster, a bit? Maybe. But this just happens to be a lot of her chi looks--maybe it reflects her spirit.

"Ayala take you to the dance floor--" she stands again and attempts to place her hands on Sarah's shoulders, pulling her along with her. This isn't some zany sort of magic show, quite the opposite, it's much more physical--and chi-powered. Ayala is spinning again, this time trying to take Sarah with her, all the while the both of them are bathed in that green light, as if spotlighting them in a disco.

"Can Supernova dance? Now is time!" she cries excitedly.

Can Sarah dance? Usually, yes she can.

But in this case, she cannot?

Or rather, she's not the one leading. She's getting pulled around by Ayala, and there's no way around it. Unfortunately, this is one dance that Sarah doesn't like at all. She's worn out by it and is about to pass out. It's almost like a dance to the death... except she's not about to die just yet.

In fact, Sarah plans to end things with a swarm of butterflies like the one she showed before... although doing so drains the last of her strength, causing her to collapse onto the ground.

Ayala is laughing wildly as she pulls Sarah along with the 'dance', the two of them bathed in the green light and their hair flailing along with them, finally letting Sarah go, possibly still spinning from the chi-fuelled spin.

And them the swarm bears down on her.

"Ahhh!" Ayala's long blonde curly hair, now wild after all that spinning, making her look all the more a madwoman as the butterflies bear down on her--bringing her arms up as they batter against her and push her back, and back...

The cavewoman looking just about to fall over after the storm subsides, and she is still left standing.

"Ooohh... Ayala not sure she likes butterflies so much now..." she blinks and realizes her opponent is down, however, vaguely, shaking her head. "Supernova! Oof... good fight," she has to collapse back onto her butt, still woozy.
