Match of the Millennium

Description: While the majority of the students at Taiyo High managed to escape the worst of the attacks, several of them were injured quite badly. Fortunately, the school's infirmary is well stocked and so far no one has died but the supplies are limited and with no way to tell how long this siege will last they have to be used sparingly. Not everyone cares about the well-being of others in this time of crisis, however. Seeing an opportunity to make a quick buck, a young thug attempts to break into the school during the night in order to steal all their medicine, hoping to sell it back - at a ridiculous premium, of course!

Taiyo High was fortified in the midst of the Southtown attack by Darkstalkers and now gangsters!

Fortunately nobody has died, but with supplies limited, there was no way to tell how long this siege will last. Medical supplies especially had to be rationed. Imagine the outcry when a nurse comes running out of the infirmary at Taiyo High, with a bloody nose. A criminal had broken in to steal their medicine! She cries 'Help Help Help!'

[YURI]
Yuri was badly beaten and bruised during the last incident at the school, but the thing that stung worse than her injuries was the damage to her ego. As a result of this, Yuri's angrier than ever, and is taking the time to spar whe she can with minor Darkstalkers as well as helping out at Taiyo High.

Yuri's just coming back now from patrolling the area when she hears the nurse calling out for help. "I'm coming!" Yuri says as she takes off quickly, running in an attempt to stop the criminal from getting away!

[DANIEL]
The nurse points at the direction of the infirmary.

Inside is a punk with long ears, green glowing eyes, and a bandanna face mask. He holds a chain in his hands. He had broken into a medicine cabinet and was busy dumping the bottles into a bag. When Yuri comes in, he turns around and looks. "Blergh!" He sputters. Dropping the bag, he grips his chain tight. "Oh man, the big man won't like squirts like you getting involved!" He babbles. He begins to swing the chain around.

It looks like a fight!

"How dare you call me a squirt?!" Yuri's eyes narrow with rage and her fists clnech, her lips parting a little to show gritted teeth beneath her lips. "I'll have you know that losers like you have no right to be stealing our medicine... or calling me names like that!"

Her eyes close for a moment, but then they open with an evil grin this time. "Because I am Yuri Sakazaki, mistress of the Kyokugen style of Karate, the most awesome style in the world that's great for kicking the butts of punks like you!"

With that, Yuri gets into her fighting stance, but not before winking and making a 'bring it on' gesture.

The thug's accent seemed strange.

Like he wasn't a local. And yet, when Yuri makes her introductions, the man nods. "Kyokugen! You must be Ryo's half pint of a sister! I bet we could kidnap you real good!" The thug nods along at the thought, as he charges Yuri, swinging his chain over his head, before lashing it at her!

"I'll teach you to call me a half-pint!" Yuri yells as she prepares to go in after the punk, but then he comes at her first, demonstrating that he wants her to join his chain gang. Unfortunately, Yuri's not big on gangs and things like that, so she declines by knocking that incoming chain away from her with her arm. Unfortunately, being bare armed has its downsides, and the chain still leaves a mark on her arm. "Yow! That wasn't very nice!"

Taking a moment to rub at the injured spot, Yuri glares so hard at the punk that if she could, she'd burn a hole through him. Of course, a small girl like her probably looks more cute than menacing, but Yuri's got more to show (and tell.)

"Big things come in small packages, don't you know?" Yuri says as she suddenly begins spinnng through the air with an aerial spin kick. It's lacking in the flair and style of the traditional Hurricane Kick used by Ansatsuken fighters, but Yuri's still spinning pretty fast, meaning that punk better look out!

"Yeah, but you're kinda chubby, so I guess you're not small either!"

The words come out wryly, as the swings are deflected. When Yuri comes in, eyes blazing, the guy just rolls his eyes. The spinning kicks does suprise him, and he stumbles back, hitting into the medicine cabinet. "Hey! I bet you can do that Hadoken thing too, right?" How did this thug know so much about Kyokugen? Drawing his chain back in, he tries to kick Yuri in the gut, to get her off him.

"Don't you DARE call me chubby!" Yuri snaps. "I work out every day, and with all these gross monsters coming out, I'm--"

Yuri's cut off as she gets kicked in the stomach. She was attempting to shield herself with her chi, but it didn't come out in time, and as a result she finds herself staggering backwards holding her stomach. She nearly drops to one knee as she catches her breath before standing up again, albeit still holding her stomach briefly. "The Hadoken is totally lame!" She gasps out.

[DANIEL]
"Yeah, more like, work out a bucket of ice cream!"

The thug sneers as Yuri doubles over, rattling his chain as he begins a windup. "Whatever. Kyokugen is the lamest. I bet you don't even have any fireballs you can throw out in the air." Why was he casting such -shade-? In any case, the man starts picking up speed, rushing at Yuri and giving her a headbutt into the chest!

"You want to insult Kyokugen Karate?" Yuri scowls even deeper than before. "I'm not surprised, you're just a lame punk who can kiss my butt!" She would give her signature taunt, but it seems the punk is intent on ramming his head into her chest! (How dare he!)

"Stay away from there, you pervert!" Yuri yells as she brings her arms up parallel in front of her to block that incoming headbutt. He's got a lot of power as he causes Yuri to skid back on her heels a little, and there's another mark on her arms. But when those arms come down, Yuri's breathing faster than before.

"You wanna see fireballs, huh?" Yuri asks angrily. "I was gonna show you a simple one, but that would be too lame. So prepare to see what a Kyokugen practitioner can do!" With that, Yuri brings both hands back and summons a bit of her chi into her hands, and then throws forth a HUGE fireball! She could do more than that, but this is just a sample!

The guy stares at the big fire.

Bracing himself, the thug shouts in surprise as the blast of fire slams into the emptied cabinet, just barely missing him by inches. "Okay, okay, you got the fire ball. And look, kid, no offense, but you're not my type. Like, you keep your weight in the wrong places, you know?" He slaps his own chest, before hurling out a chain-wrapped punch at Yuri's head

"Damn, I missed," Yuri mutters to herself before looking at the punk again. "I wouldn't even want to date a half-wit like you!" Yuri sticks out her tongue, before twisting to avoid being hit in the head with that punch. It still hits her, but just gets the side of her face. Nonetheless, it leaves Yuri feeling a bit more angry than before as she feels a cut on her face.

"You cut my cheek! You loser!" Yuri rushes in fast, attempting to deliver her own custom variation of the Dragon Punch while showing what happens when you REALLY make Yuri mad!

The thug was tucking and weaving, as he draw back his fist.

"Well I wouldn't want to date a girl like you. Besides. Weren't you naked at that Golden Hippo thing." Oh man, wasn't that thing not supposed to have aired? As Yuri bursts in with her uppercut, the thug dodges, nimbly slipping aside. Rushing in, he attempts to grab Yuri with his chain, and throw her into a hospital bed.

"Who would want to date you?"

Deciding that it's not worth paying attention to this punk's lame insults, Yuri instead focuses on coming back from missing with her attack. Unfortunately, before she can to that, she gets caught in his chain, and is finding herself thrown into a hospital bed. Ironic that she's being thrown there, isn't it?

But not before Yuri sticks out a foot and kicks at the side of the punk's head as she does down. "Ugh! Dammit!" She yells as she crashes into the bed, which is pretty much fine compared to poor Yuri.

Oof!

The thug didn't expect Yuri to get so aggressive like that. When she kicks him in the head, he falls backwards. Groaning, he lurches forward with his chain, and then charges at Yuri, attempting to knock her down with a big jumping dropkick!

"Nice try," Yuri says as she rolls out of the way. "Trying to emulate professional wrestlers? I'll have you know that's all fake!" She stands up, then rubs at her stomach, still feeling a bit tender from earlier. "Just like your respect for women!" She hmmphs.

"So I'm gonna have to teach you some manners!" With that, Yuri attempts to run at the punk and grab him. If successful, she'll deliver a series of faceslaps before uppercutting him away!

Oh no!

The thug did learn that one in Slamfest 2020. After his jump kick lands him on the ground, he is picked up by Yuri, and is slapped. And you would think he wouldn't like it. But he does. By the time the uppercut comes, he is in heavenly bliss. Landing down, he staggers back up. "Okay, maybe there is something good about you!" Winding the chain back, he snaps it at Yuri, trying to lash her with it!

"Not bad? I'm the best of the best!" Yuri yells as she deflects the chain lash away with her arms. She cries out in pain as she does so, but that just keeps her going even more, gritting her teeth in spite of her injuries. "I know for a fact that even if I lose, at least I proved my point that Kyokugen is truly tough!"

Yuri leaps into the air, but doesn't try to punch or kick her opponent. Instead, she attempts to throw a small fireball at the punk. "Catch!"

"Well yes, but-"

He was going to interject more, but now the thug had to deal with more energy blasts. He was getting zoned badly, even as he tried to block it. Smashing his chain against the fireball breaks it apart, though he was wincing hard. Snarling, the thug lunges in, sweeping his chain around to try and catch Yuri. Should he catch her with the chain? He would slam her into the wall with it!

The fireball was broken, and Yuri is coming down quickly into the path of a chain...

Which wraps around her rather tightly.

But Yuri's not keen on being in the chain gang. As soon as she has a chance, Yuri suddenly launches out of the tight position she's in, and does another example of her take on the Dragon Punch, but this time she adds a second one while the punk is still in the air!

Then she drops to the ground, catching her breath and trying not to pass out. "I can't... give up now... Taiyo needs me..."

[DANIEL]
Oh, the thug was getting badly battered now.

When the driving spirit of Yuri absolutely blasts him back with the uppercut, he slams back into the wall, releasing the chain. That was a problem. Panicking, he staggers at Yuri, trying to grab her, and throw her away to get his chain. "Taiyo? Shoot I should be at Gedo High! Lord Dohma- I mean the big man will be so mad. Big girl. Kira."

Apparently the punk is dumb AND illiterate. But that doesn't matter to Yuri right now.

She's being thrown across the school area. In an act of desperation, she attempts to throw a small fireball at the punk while she's being thrown across the area.

Once she hits the ground, though, there'd better be nurses on hand, because she's going to be out like a light.

Another fireball!

The thug grabs his chain just in time, and punches out the fireball with it. Hissing at the pain, he waits for Yuri to make her big come back... but instead she just lies there. The thug lowers his guard. "Wait, shit, I wasn't supposed to have beaten her up so good." The thug looks at the medical supplies. "Well... I guess I will have to steal these anyways then!" He picked up the bag, and makes his run for it.

Hopefully, at least, she got her lead.
