Match of the Millennium

Description: SNF between a superhero and a monster. Who will win? The acid spitting lamia known as Sophia or the blindingly bright superhero Koto?

[KOTO]
Well, this was certainly a bit of a weird one. Superhero versus a "monster" was not something that Koto expected when he signed up for the SNF.

But, well, it's SNF. And last year he nearly had to do it in a clown suit! Thank goodness for transformation gimmicks.

Walking down to the overpass area, Koto brings up a hand as the belt of his costume materializes in a prismatic glow in the night. Then it starts to glow as he calls out, "Henshin!" The student disappears into the literal prismatic light only to be revealed as Mega Dragon Fighter J-Dragon.
And he's now looking around for said 'monster' on the cameras at least.

Well, at least it's dark out and it's easier for Sophia to conceal herself from others. She's not big on crowds after all. She was told that she would be fighting a wrestler. This should be somewhat of an interesting match up since she's somewhat of a grappler herself. The glow stands out in the night as she approaches. "Interesting, how did you transform like that? Is it a psionic illusion or magic?" She can transform herself as well, but she doesn't want to burn off that much energy before a fight, so she stays in her lamia form.

Koto looks at the lamia, then shrugs, "To be honest, I don't know myself. I've heard all kinds of things. I would say you're about to find out as that same energy's being tossed at you."

He moves to settle himself into not a wrestler's stance, but an actual martial artist style fighter's stance.

[SOPHIA]
"You don't know the source of your own power?" Sophia adjusts her glasses a bit as she says that. "I don't know everything about my own abilities myself, but I've done research on them at least? You don't seem too bothered by my appearance then again I guess that comes with being a fighter." It sounds like their fighting styles are somewhat similar as takes a defensive stance getting ready to strike.

The superhero looking guy shrugs, "Well, you can tell me if you can figure it out after you wake up." Koto spins as a literal tail like blast of prismatic energy swings out from his extended leg, attempting to literally throw her into the air and a second kick follows with much the same as he calls out, "Dragon Swings Tail!" The spinning hero looks like he'll land safely from that, too! It's just the wave of prismatic energies she has to worry about, really!

"You're not curious at all?" Sophia looks a bit puzzled before the prismatic energy is aimed at her. She gasps a bit and tries to block the attack. Being a creature of darkness this doesn't work too well given it's a form of light. She's knocked back a bit but doesn't go too far. She opens her mouth widely, releasing energy of her own. In this case it's acid.

Seeing the apparent acid spit, Koto moves to try to do something about it. Being hit by it probably wouldn't be pleasant is his thinking. He brings a hand back and forward as he calls out, "DRAGON EMPER--" And that's as far as he gets before acid lands on his costume and looks to be burning him a bit. Or at least the suit is starting to lightly smoke and give off the fumes of the acid. Not a good thing on his end, perhaps.

[SOPHIA]
Once she recovers from the light she rushes in at him while the acid melts his outfit. She attempts to coil around him to prevent him from releasing the energy as well. She's not sure how successful she'll be given his wrestling background.

Blocking the coiling tail is harder than it looks, even then there's still some that does coil around him as he pushes on it and steps out of the way to try to keep from being entrapped by the serpent part of her. Instead of staying still, however, he goes for trying to grab hold of the tail fully with his arms, spin, and attempt to throw her away from him at that!

He successfully grabs her by the tail and swings her around before tossing Sophia some distance away. The impact she makes with the asphalt is rather painful and she cringes in pain. Needing a moment to recover, her hands begin to glow a sickly green color and the overpass in front of her begins to vibrate. Suddenly several giant snakes made of energy burst from underneath striking at Koto.

The snakes strike, Koto looking perhaps to see what she will do and he doesn't really try to block, but endures them as his suit smokes a bit more from the acid. Instead, he seems to be getting ready as his hands move to an L shaped position at first, then slide upwards to a more plus shape, "Sorry, lady... but this might hurt a bit more than being thrown around!"

Then there's a bright, prismatic glow coming from his hands before it launches forward like a freight train in a beam of bright, prismatic death, "AUROOOORAAA BUUUURST!" That's definitely something to not get hit by, right?

Sophia is stationary as the blast is aimed at her. It simple isn't for her to avoid all of it while standing on the narrow overpass. At this point it would be best to make sure she doesn't go flying over the edge. It's even worse than she thought it would it be as she's pushed back nearly going over the railing. It seems like he's not the only one who can drain energy and she's left dangling. She struggles a bit but manages to pull herself back at up.

Maybe she was better off grappling him after all and she rushes in once again. She attempts to wrap her tail around him once again, but this time she intends toss him.

Koto, enduring the throw as he ends up going away from Sophia, bounces back pretty quickly it seems even if he looks to be getting slower, and that smoking looks to be getting a bit worse. The worrying part is that there's now one large, big symbol of prismatic energy appearing under him as he moves, if a bit shakily, back to his feet. Then he's running forward as the symbol seems to go into one of his legs. Once close enough, though, the reason is quite obvious as he lashes out with a pretty vicious looking roundhouse kick aimed at her, "THUUUNDER KIIICK!" The kick gives off a crashing sound much like thunder from it's sheer passing, too, which has to be a bit odd but well.... it's there.

[SOPHIA]
At this point Sophia is start to get wary from all the fighting, Koto hits quite hard after all. She notices that he's running straight at her and decides to take the attack. While he launches the kick though, she holds up two paper fans covered in acid using them defend herself. The blow makes contact with her chest and causes her to slump over, but she swings one of the fans at him as she goes down.

The acid covered fans hit, and Koto looks to be about to go down it seems, only to stand up even as the acid eats away at his skin. Hopping back a few steps, his shifts his stance to a wider one before looking to try to concentrate it seems. Acid's not good for him, after all, and whatever he's doing... he starts to glow with that prismatic light.

Both his arms come up while they are glowing, then come down as a torrent of flames swishes out at her, "Dragon Flame Swipe!" Then he falls down to one knee from the acid, coughing a bit.

[SOPHIA]
Sophia struggles to pull herself back upwards but she finds her fans being suddenly ignited on on fire as she's swiped at. She tosses them aside but it's too late, the flame's already spread to one of her arms. She tries to smutter it, using her free arm to release one more blast of energy. A smaller energy snake than the than the hydras earlier is tossed at Koto and tries to drain him in order to provide life force for his mistress.

COMBATSYS: Sophia can no longer fight.

The good news is, the snake does it's work! The bad news is it manages to bite Koto while he's fairly unprepared and he ends up unconscious from it. At least face down the acid will fall off the suit, right?

[SOPHIA]
Sophia doesn't get much of a chance to benefit from it either as she passes out from the fighting shortly afterwards. It should keep the lamia alive until she comes to at least though. This is going to look a bit awkward though as they've manage to knock each other out.
