Match of the Millennium

Description: In a Capcom Wrestling Association Special Main Event! Witness Neo-League champion, Abigail stepping into the ring with the monstrous Iron Tager! These terrifying titans will meet for the match of the millennium. And it will take more than a standard ring to contain these two juggernauts -- the perfect reason for the reinforced floor of the CWA Arena to host this battle of the behemoths!

[ABIGAIL]
"Iron wha? Tagah who?"

Abigail is confused as usual when it comes to matters unrelated to his business..but he does understand matters of crushing other people like empty cans and when he gets the understanding that this is an SNF invitation, that people want to see the Neo League Champion in action..and that this is an ego stroking opportunity..he wises up quickly enough.

And so when he arrives to the CWA Arena it's to the roaring soundtrack of Death Metal while he stands in the back of a monster truck being driven by Axl. Both of his ars raise upwards into a titanic chain bursting flex that sends his muscles into a freakish display of brute size as he purses his lips and emits a loud, "VROOOM VROOOOOOOOM!" to the delight of all Abigail fans everywhere. An instant later and he's leapt from the back of the truck to land with an impact that triggers local seisometers and he begins striding towards the ring. "Alright, chumps! Let's see what tihs Iron Tager is all about. I got books to balance!"

[IRON TAGER]
EARLIER

"The Neo League champion, is it?" Iron Tager, a monster of a man with red skin and fangs resembling nothing if not a Japanese oni, grips the frame of his glasses gingerly with a massive metallic gauntlet and pressed them up on the bridge of his nose. He glanced down on at a tablet--wrapped in a reinforced case--and tapped it with a massive, fist-sized metallic finger.

"A most impressive track record. Tremendous power and potential... Sector Seven could benefit from more data."

NOW

Tager's entrance is just as cataclysmic as Abigail's. Each step echoes through the arena with a thunderous boom as giant metallic boots rattle the reinforced springs of the arena. Tager's stride is confident, refined even despite his monstrous appearance. He manages a fangy smile at Abigail.

"You must be Abigail. Your reputation certainly precedes you, but I hope we can have a good, clean match."

[ABIGAIL]
Whoa. Is this guy as big as him? Is he bigger? Naaaaaaaw. No way.

Regardless, Iron Tager cuts a monstrous physique and figure made all the more impressive by the technology involved and the fanged smile and Abigail blinks and then grins.

"Heeey..nice! You must have some serious horsepower!" He claps his massive hands together as he steps into ring, looming over the top rope and thundering forward. His flesh and strength alone quaking the arena with the same force as Tager's approach.

"Let's do this! Vrooooom! Let's see if your horsepower and engine match up to mine!"

Monstrous physique or not, Tager carries himself with a intellectual refinement. He pushes his glasses up with a massive metallic finger, the polished dark steel of the gauntlet shimmering slightly with the faint signs of polish.

You've got a good eye," Tager says with a smirk. He spreads his arms, raising them slightly in a wide-stance. "But this power's better measured in volts!"

Yellow electricity crackles along Tager's body as he lowers into a crouch. From it he surges forward, surging with electricity as he charges in for a tackle.

Whether by leverage or the sheer brutal fact that Abigail is so strong he can crush cars into cubes by clapping his hands on either side of them....Tager impacts - the other behemoth creaks, the arena shakes...and Abigail is unmoved and holds his ground. Instead he gives the refined behemoth a slasher-grin in contrast to Tager's own character and bellows out,

"Good voltage will help run great onboard systems but.." He balls up a boulder of a fist, knuckles cracking and sinew straining. the sound like tree trunks and boulders splintering.

"Without the horsepower..it's all show nad no go!"

With that he whirls his massive arm around like a bludeoning weapon, bringing the limb and fist over towards Tager with a physical shockwave accompanying the strike as Abigail leans into it.

Pointed teeth grit as Tager clashes with Abigail. His mouth curls with consternation. Perhaps Tager wasn't expecting quite that much resistance.

But when the fist comes back toward him, Tager moves with the ease of a veteran. A heavy metallic forearm meets Abigail's blow with thunder-like rumble.

"Don't worry," the Red Devil says. "There's more substance than flash here."

Electricity surges again, building around Tager before he shoulder charges toward Abigail, Tager's massive feet pushing the ring of the floor down with a creak.

COMBATSYS: Abigail barely endures Iron Tager's Voltic Tackle.

The monster-mechanic utters something incoherent, likely due to the electricity surging through his body and this time he is indeed launched from his feet and shoved backwards a distance by the strength of the assault. A moment later and his feet touch back down and his massive legs flex, bracing him against the rocking arena floor as he again becomes the immovable object to try and arrest the movement of the tackle by the immense Red Devil. The two titans lock briefly, struggling like the kaiju this match has been advertised to represent and then Abigail surges forward once again, twisting his body into a spinning rotation that sends a monstrous back fist at Tager intended to launch him upwards and this is followed by a titanic upper cut as Abigail's spin continues and carries his momentum forward.

Iron Tager's muscles tighten and flex, the machinery of his cybernetics whirring up as the two giants clash in the center of the ring. His heavy boot rocks the ring as he steps forward to resist Abigail.

But the spin around catches Tager, impacting the Red Devil with enough force to launch him off his feet. Tager almost seems to linger in the air for a moment before Abigail's uppercut impacts his chin with a thundering boom that launches the beast of a man up into the air before he slams back down onto the floor of the ring with a rumbling crash that seems to make the whole arena shake.

Rising back to his feet takes a moment, Tager plants a hand, climbs to his feet. "Such unbelievable power..." the man rumbles under his breath. "Far beyond anything I'd calculated...no wonder you faired so well in World Warrior." Tager reaches up and adjusts his glasses then slams his fists together with a discharge of current.

"I'll have to pull out all the stops and release the limiters." Electricity surges, magnetic fields surging and threatening to pull Abigail toward Tager with a thrum of electromagnetism. If he pulls him in, Tager's grip is like a vice, aiming to take hold of the mountain of a mechanic, hoist him overhead, and leap into the air and slam Abigail across his back.

"What the--" is followed by an "Yeaarrrgh!" and then an impact that triggers earthquake detection systems throughout the county and upends all viewers as the shockwave rolls out violently from the center stage. Abigail grimaces, upside down and briefly helpless in Tager's grasp...before suddenly rolling forward, dislodging himself from the grip and out of the newly formed crater. A massive hand lunges forward, reaching for Tagers belt.

"Looks like you do have some horsepower! It's a Dead Heat!" he declares cheerfully, still grinning despite the force of that awful attack. His inexplicable superhuman strength surges as with a single arm he seeks to launch Tager upwards into the air as casually as he tosses a piece of paper, "Time to crush you like a can!! ABIGAIL SMASH!!!"

Success would see the behemoths arm swinging around to try and slam into Tager on his downward descent and send him hurtling for the rafters.

Muscles taut, Iron Tager holds Abigail over his head in a tremendous feat of strength that ends with the center of the ring practically imploding on impact and sending them through it to the floor. The Red Devil's mechanical grasp whines to try and hold Abigail as he bucks out into the roll and grabs the scientist (?) by the belt.

"W-what?" Tager gasps as his feet leave the ground and then he's bodily tossed into the air. His muscles tighten and he tries to brace himself, but without leverage the action is near futile.

The smashing palm impacts Tager like a battleship cannon. He cuts through the air with the sound of rushing wind before smashing into the a low rafter that warps around his body with a creak of metal. Spittle and a bit of red spray from his mouth on the impact before Tager drops from that terrible height, falling like a stone to create another crater and a cloud of dust. The crowd, shaken by the earthquake like impacts are on the edge of their seats--even as security starts moving people out of the potential danger zone to higher ground.

But Tager slowly rises from the dust with a clearing of his throat. His glasses sit slightly aschew, the frames bent but not destroy due to the marvels of Kokonoe's engineering prowess. He tries to adjust them with a frown.

"You've exceeded all my expectations," Tager says, "No wonder you were able to keep up with the Mad Dog..." Cybernetics hum as broad pieces of steel like blades fan out around his arms. Steam pours out and clear the dust as he vents heat, then electricity surges again as Tager begins gathering power.

"But let's push this to the absolute limit! One-hundred twenty percent!"

The monstrous mechanic isn't looking unscathed himself. He's bruised and battered but still moving, unbowed, like some sort of nightmarish mountain with legs as he trundles through the expading dust cloud and debris field in approach to Tager. It also seems Tager has done his homework on Abigail even though the name doesn't yield any immediate results in the mechanics mind.

"Mad Dog wha? Does this guy wanna be Mad Gear or somethin'?"

He wracks his brain but fails to make any particular connection. Tagers actions are enough to pull him back to the here and now though and he grins as his body starts to turn beet red. Suddenly he seems to iterally inflate in size. Muscle piling ontop of itself in an expanding ballooning of monster size. "So you want to push it to the Redline?? Let's go then! Try and keep up! Vrooom!!"

Lightning dances across the body of Iron Tager as he cycles up to full power. Sparks leap through the clouds of lingering steam, bouncing between dust particles like a volcanic storm.

"Maybe he introduced as Azrael," Tager says, "but he's a monster of a man who competed in the World Warrior tournament. But I digress!"

Tager slams his fist together with a metallic clang. With sudden motion the Red Devil surges forward, aiming to clamp his hand around Abigail's swollen shoulder. If he gets hold, he swings him around in a great rotation, building momentum to launch the giant into the air.

And then Tager would pursue him with a tremendous leap, launching afterward to try and intercept, palm Abigail down, and then drive him back to the earth in a cratering one-handed slam.

Abigail impacts like a meteor. There's no time to even react to the name given for The Mad Dog. Oh yeah, he's got things to say and ask but right now he's at the center of an earthquake that threatens to bring the very foundations of the CWA into ruin. Cracks spread in all directions as the ground yields to the two titans and Abigail grits his teeth and then flashes his eyes open in rage.

Dislodging himself, he rolls backwards and then sweeps a tree sized arm around and down to add to the earthquake, increasing its intensity to attempt to stagger The Red Devil. Both of his hands then lash forward to reach for Tager and if successful, lift him skywards once more. "You can't get away!" he bellows with that slasher grin returning.

Both of his massive arms would then raise and his fists would roll thunderously in a series of increasingly powerful and destructive rolling punches as if Tager was little more then a gigantic punching bag being raised higher and higher by each successive blow. "ORA, ORA, ORA, ORA, ORA!!!!"

The finishing strike is another swat of his massive palm - intent on and capble of treating a figure even as large as Tager like a ball against a massive baseball bat and to send him sailing away.

Abigail's furious slams are enough to even throw The Red Devil off balance, each hit tremoring the already unsteady ground. "Still some fight left, then--what the?!"

Tager tries to intercept. He surges with power and moves to grab Abigail first. To take hold of him and reverse the throw. He is not fast enough.

The first blow is almost enough to double the giant over, knocking the wind out of him and setting up for the flurry of blows that follow. Impact after impact echoes through the arena amidst the rumbling of the unstable foundation, each hit producing a meaty thump as muscle meets muscle. Tager lifts from the ground in the storm of hits before Abigail finally launches him into a nearby girder, which bends and and knocks a section of roof down upon him. There isn't any immediate movement.

"Kokonoe," Tager rumbles through beneath the rubble. "I'm sorry. I think I need extraction ... I hope that was enough data."

[ABIGAIL]
"That was a dead heat!" exclaims the battered but cheerful Abigail as he stands up straight and then gives Tager a two fingered gun salute. "Stop by Abigail's Scrap Metal when you're on your feet again! I want to get a look at that engine of yours to see how I can get more horsepower!"
