Match of the Millennium

Description: After his encounter at the airport, Franco realizes that this gang war has gone far enough. Taking to the streets, Franco quickly establishes a presence for himself as Syndicate gangsters are sent limping back to their lieutenants, ranting about a mustachioed muscle man kickboxing the crap out of them. But as Franco descends on Gedo Street, following a strange concentration of violence between Syndicate goons and students, Franco stumbles upon an ambush. Not from gangsters this time, but from a horde of monsters, along with their Syndicate handler!

[FRANCO]
It took one little incident to finally get Franco Bash into action. He had been wanting to help clean up the town but had mostly kept to himself. But the incident at the airport awakened a giant kickingboxing vigilant that has taken to the streets. Needless to say he has a reputation slowly building and he is not exactly a popular guy with anyone looking to enjoy a life of crime.

"Get back here!" bellows the big American as he is dashing down the street after another would be baddie that seemed to be much more swift. Franco may have stamnina in spades, but he isn't the speediest of invididuals.

There are some twists and turns and eventually it is Gedo Street where he eases out of that run and frowns. It looks like this time his target will get away. "Can't win them all I suppose." If anything it may make his target think twice about causing more trouble. "Time to get a calzone to bring him and share with Junior after a long day!"

[LOTUS]
The streets are strangely empty. The perp that escaped Francos grasp is nowhere to be seen or even heard. A cold wind blows through the street, and the doors are shut (and locked) as if in preperation for something......

Behind him, a single cough can be heard..... turning around, there is a man about 25 feet away. He is wearing a white suit in near-perfect condition. His hair is immaculate, and his face wears an amused, egotistical smirk. With a slow motion, he pulls out a lighter and a cigarette as he stares Franco down "So YOU'RE the one who's been giving our employees a run for their money. Interfering with buisiness that doesn't concern you is a dangerous thing.... a lot of 'accidents' can happen to someone so bold......". He puts the cigatte in his lips, not yet lighting it "Might be a smart idea for you to give it a rest...... if you know what's good for ya......

[FRANCO]
Hmm, it did get really quiet. Then again he supposes it is late so school is out and to be honest Franco hasn't been on Gedo Street to know often some of the students can be quite the troublemakers. In fact it is downright odd there is no one around but Franco.

He doesn't remain alone for long as a voice speaks up and Franco turns about to look at the rather well dressed man. His gloved hands rest on his hips as he listens and if anything he looks amused instead of intimidated. "Oh ho? Was that man a friend of yours?" He asks and he raises one hand up to wave it about in a dismissive manner.

"My friend it would be foolish of me to just ignore things. The streets are much too dangerous. Good men, women and children getting caught up in senseless violence. The cops do what they can, but they are few in a town filled with such...such CORRUPTION!" He flexes and lets out a bellowing laugh. "And you cannot intimidate me! Pick a more peaceful path in life or face the might of Franco Bash!"

The man, whomever he is, just gains a look even MORE egocentric, and reaches up to flick his lighter to light his smoke as Franco says his piece. He takes a drag on it, breathing out a puff of smoke before locking eyes with Franco again "Well then 'my friend'...." his tone is clearly mocking as he says it ".... it was nice knowin ya!". With that he snaps his fingers..... and all hell breaks loose......

Dark figures appear all around Franco, some on the rooftops, others from the allys, one from a manhole just beside him!

The strange robed creature hops quickly towards him, and in just two such moves, attempts to get it's dead-blue hands around his neck, to drain the energy from his body while it chokes the life from him as well! It's dead eyes stare with lifeless intensity into his as it does so!

That was unexpected! Franco wasn't really thinking there might be more figures about and suddenly he finds himself surrounded. Not only that most of them look inhuman. Something much different than he has dealt with so far when cleaning up the streets. It had mostly been thugs with various things such as clubs, guns and what not.

"Hmm!" Despite the sudden numbers advantage Franco seems to be keeping his cool. The problem is him trying to keep track of all of the movements of the assailants that have shown up.

The one pops from the manhole cover and leaps at him, but Franco steps aside and he brings a gloved hand about to actually knock the hands away. He quickly follows up with a quick two punch combo to the gut of the would be attacker before looking to just pick him up and throw him right back down the manhole. "Oh ho! You brought friends! Will it be enough!?"

The gut-punches slam home, rocking the creatures body, stunning it long enough for Franco to grab and throw it back! While it doesn't quite fall DOWN the manhole, theres an audible CRACK as its arms catch itself on either side of the street, the impact visibly damaging its withered arms.....

The rest, meanwhile, make a beeline for the veteran fighter! The hungrily grab at him, their jagged, dirty fingernails raking at his skin as they seek to bite chunks out of him if they get the opportunity!

Franco seems pleased with dealing with the creature, but he has several more to worry about. Several that are charging him and looking at him as if he is a giant, orange clad snack! They start to crowd around him and begin scratching, clawing and biting.

Most normal men would easily succumb to such a horde, but Franco is turning and moving here and there to for the most part keep the beasts at bay though both skin and clothing are getting clawed about. There is little he can do other than try to disperse them.

The ones in front of him are the first to deal with his attempts to clear away some and make it a bit easier for him to combat who would be left standing. His blue glove ignites with firey energy as he comes forward with a big punch looking to just knock away a few of them before he spins about and brings the other firey fist in a downward punch to try and ground a few more. "Is that all you got!?"

In an entirely unnatural manuever, as Francos firey fist comes their way, the hopping creatures bend backwards, the blow fizzing through the air over them. A normal human would have broken their spine going back so far.

With a quick snap back, they resume the attack, unphased and hungering for flesh and life energy!

One affixes it's gaze with his, a twirling red glow seeming to emit from them...... the creature seeks to pacify his mind, make Franco open his defense and be stupified for a moment as one of it's mates comes in with a crushing blow to the gut from the side......

More surprises, but it isn't seeming to do things to deter Franco. Hesitation is only going to cost him and he does his best to defend himself when the attack looks to resume.

It is hard to tell if the red eyes stupify the big kickboxer, but they serve their purpose in at least distracting him and making him more focus on the the one that might be ready to fire lasers from his eyes or something. "Oof!" They hit him and hit him hard, but Franco is a rather sturdy man and he doesn't go down.

If anything the one that distracted him seems to gain the ire of Franco. "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!" he surges forward and more just barrels through the others and looks to slam his fist right into the face of the one with the red eyes. "STOP THAT!"

With a quick swing of its arm, the creature knocks Francos punch aside, the strike neatly bisecting some of the hair on the side of it's head as it passes but doing little real harm to it. However, as he is now close in, it throws a series of slashes and punches at him! Meanwhile, one of the others attempts to drain him from behind, and still another attempts to finally throw him into a wall of a nearby building and corner him!

He keeps throwing punches because if anything it keeps the monsters on their toes, but the numbers game might just be working. His fists can't seem to hit clean after showing the first of the beast's who is boss and he is getting swarmed. They push him back and eventually he slams hard into the wall.

THe air is knocked out of him and the bricks crack and break from the force of the impact when the big man slams into it. He shakes his head to try to clear the cobwebs and he at least doesn't have enemies behind him for a few moments. The other problem is there are three other sides that still have the swaming creatures around him.

He swings his arms about as he gives a big hook punch. Perhaps not the best of ideas because he is dashing forward looking to use the sweeping blows that are igniting with firey energy to open up a path in front of him, but he is also giving up his rear guard allowing him to be surrounded again

Grazing Hit

As Franco swings, the rest once more perform inhuman acts of dexterity to evade his strikes!

All except one, however. The one he had thrown back into the manhole has finally pulled itself up, and LEAPS at him in an attack just as the others make a move to dodge! As a result, it is unable to fully do so itself, and it's hit squarely in the side of the head with an audible CRACK!

It's head lolling at an unnatural angle, it flies off to the side due to the force of the impact, and lies still......

The others take this as an advantage, however. With Franco potentially distracted, one rushes in, attempting to grab him and slam him against the wall, holding him there as the others attack from the sides, while it itself drains him!

He got some space and that is all he needs. The attacks are wearing him down and his breathing growing heavier. Despite that he still seems focused and not going into a panic despite himself being in still greatly outnumbered and having trouble with his new foe he has not faced off with before.

Others manage to avoid his dash, but the poor sot that just got smashed earlier takes another big hit. Still he has left his back and sides exposed and it looks like in the end his move was perhaps a bad idea.

That is until there is a sudden movement. The big man leaping up and delivering a giant spin kick that knocks part of the horde away and he then raises a leg up high. "Don't think this is over!" He roars and he comes down to slam that big foot hard in the ground. The concrete spidewebs from impact and a huge release of energy just explodes outwards. The movements knocking everyone away at least for a moment and leaving Franco somehow unscathed from that last assault. He takes a deep breath and flexes as the straps of his coveralls snap and leave his upper body bare showing off the bruises and cuts he has endured so far. "Feel the might of FRANCO BASH!"

[LOTUS]
The three in front of Franco are cleanly struck by the blast of energy from his epic stomp, and one is incinerated rather nicely. Enough so that it can only scream on the ground in agony.

This leaves two left, which seem to now be very wary of the big man.....

Still, this doesn't dissuage them from attacking once more! Moving in from two sides, one attempts to grab his legs, and as he goes down if it succeeds, the other aims to grab his arms! That done, they both will drain him of energy, while pulling him in two directions before one finally wins the tug of war, resulting in Franco being flung to one side or the other with a brick wall of a building either way.....

It was a tough thing to deal with. Franco used a lot of of his own energy to deliver such a strike. The amount of foes around him are less, but those that weren't taken out get a good chance at taking Franco and trying to use him as a wishbone as he gets his arms and legs grabbed at.

Eventually one lets go and he is swung about. He slams hard into a wall and puts a nice hole in it when he goes through. Debris flies about and the building shudders, but thankfully doesn't collapse. Well thankfully for Franco. The monsters would have probably preferred the big man to be buried.

Things go quiet for a moment. The creatures may have finally taken down the big guy, but before there is a moment to celebrate they soon find Franco surging out of the hole he made and he leaps upwards as he brings a big foot forward to slam right into the face of one of the remaining assailants.

The creatures have stopped for a moment, seeming more to survey if he is dead or not. There is no look of celebration in their dead eyes, merely that same dead stare of barely-held hunger.....

The kick comes suddenly, and as one tries to evade, it is instead struck by the impact of the other as the kick lands home, sending both to the ground! As it flies away, it opens it's mouth as if to scream, but no sound comes out! Instead, only a strange mist, which makes a beeline towards Franco, sucking the life out of anything it touches.....

Suprisingly, moments later, the one that was BEHIND the one struck manages to get back up, looking a bit wobbily but otherwise still able to fight as it begins to hop towards Franco.....

A mighty and forceful kick from someone that has taken so much punishment. He lands and staggers some trying to keep his footing and he is soon dealing with some strange mist that is coming at him. He is kind of working on instinct and he punches the mist. It disperses it, but he still can feel the burn as it touches skin and he bites back a grunt.

He still stands and he looks to focus on the one creature left. "YOU!" He points a gloved hand at him and he motions with his other at all the carnage. It is down to one on one and he isn't sure if this creature is intelligent, but he is about to find out. "Look what all your friends could do and I still stand. What can YOU do to me?"

He then flexes again and....oh god....is he expanding? He sems to be expanding as he flexes a few more times. "If so come at me, little one! Come show me what you can do or repent and become a HERO!"

The being stares at Franco a moment, the words not seeming to get through to it. It seems more unsure if it should attack or not...... finally, whatever conflict in it's head gives way, and it does so, leaping forwards and launching into a powerful kick, it's foot glowing white as it drains the life of those struck by it.....

He gave the creature a chance and it even seems to hesitate as if it could be reasoned with. Or at least for a few moments he thought he may have found an ally! Sure he was weird and probably couldn't talk. He also kind of smelled of socks, but he was willing to share his calzone with the creature and introduce him ot Junior! That is the kind of man Franco is.

Instead there is disappointment. The creature instead chooses to attack and he stands his ground and that foot slams into his torso and Franco's eyes go wide. "HNNNNNNNGGGGG!"

It hurts, but it doesn't do enough to down the big man. Instead that poor creature is soon a victim of a double axe-handle blow to the top of his head. That was bad enough, but then Franco rears back and he starts to deliver an uppercut as the action creates a giant tornado as he just sends the poor creature flying high up into the air. One might even think a 'ping!' could be heard in the distance. "ANYONE ELSE!?" He mostly looks to see if the well dressed man is still around.

[LOTUS]
Suprisingly, the other three creatures are nowhere to be seen. It's as if they were never even there. When they were removed, or left of their own accord, Franco doesn't know. Then, the one he launched into orbit is also clearly not present. This leaves only one loose end.....

The thug in the white suit, who has been watching all this time, no longer looks so smug. In fact, he looks outright frightened. His cigarette falls from his lips as he breaks into a panicked run after seeing the hopping vampires be defeated so swiftly!

[FRANCO]
Franco would love to give chase. He can't give chase because as much as he hates to admit it he is worn down and the adrenaline is wearing off. Still he stands tall and he thrusts a fist in the air. A new type of foe, but one that he dispensed once more in the name of justice.

The problem is Franco isn't too sure who those creatures and that well dressed thug worked for. Yet another group of the underworld he has probably made an enemy of. A tough man he is, but can he keep going? When is his luck going to run out and he does end up in a trap that has too many odds for him to overcome?

He needs to keep focused. He needs to keep fighting on! He needs.....food. "The calzone!" he declares as he remembers what his plan was. He tugs and finds a pair of coveralls ruined, but he moves forward in all his topless glory. Hopefully the little Italian place he frequents won't ask too many questions.
