Match of the Millennium

Description: Hello boils and ghouls! Looks like it's time to go all the way to Ancient Egypt, to the Tomb Of Imhotep. Overseeing the seance within the burial chamber of Imhotep himself is the mystic Rose. The psychic is tasked to reach out to the ancient but cursed High Priest of antiquity. And she might be able to... if the two Darkstalkers Kelly and Lilith weren't duking it out all around her! The two nasty little ghouls have to spar it out between them, but they better watch out. Rose has full authority to dole out whatever lessons she needs to as they make amuck of her seance!

[LILITH]
Down in the tomb--a team has been sent down to make sure the place is rigged with lights, and there is a nice large wide open space in the main chamber. It looks rather like a wrestling or fighting arena, or maybe something more gladitorial. There are sconces fitted with torches--those Lilith lit herself with a snap of her finger, to allow the workmen more light to actually rig the REAL lights--the poor guys handling SNF did work hard, after all--they deserved a cold beer and she'd probably be visiting one or more of them later should she feel a might peckish. But for now...

"Welcome boys and ghoulettes--come on down and lets have a party!" Lilith strides out onto what looks like a large stone dias that dominates the center of the chamber, it looks like a large stone aztec calender. She is wearing her normal succubus getup, nothing especially different about her today. Or rather this evening. She stands at the very center with her hands on her slender hips, grinning like she runs the crypt!

"I know getting here has been a real pain in the neck--but don't worry, all my marks so far have been perfect~" she winks and poses with her arms folded behind her head, grinning.

[KELLY]
Not long after Lilith and the crew are set up, another figure makes her way down. On first glance, she looks like a zombie! spots of her skin are grey and dull, others look rotten and open, exposing what looks like bone of some kind, nothing but ragged flesh to add some red coloring to the bleached yellow-white. One of her cheeks appears to be missing, showing only teeth and jaw and skull beneath!

At least, until you look more closely.

Whoever did Kellys makeup for this fight, they did a knockout job. Once you look closer at her, the missing cheek can be seen to just be painted details, and judging by the movements of her limbs, it becomes evident that the exposed bones are just prosthetic makeup!

Her glowy-whitish blue eyes staaaaaaare blankly at Lilith for a moment, before the spark of mischief can be seen in them, coupled with a big grin "I seek braaaaaaaains!".

[ROSE]
ROSE is present.

ROSE is being given a suitcase full of money for this, probably.

ROSE is wearing an almost traditional Egyptian noblewoman's dress for the occasion. The suitcase full of money is because there are additional copper decorations on the chest to render it legal for home viewing by children. Legal-ish.

She turns from her posture in the background, headdress suppressing her usual purple shock of hair. "You dare to disturb the rites?" Rose says, slooowly raising one arm and pointing a purple-tipped finger towards Kelly and the jolly young succubus.

"If you shall not leave this place... then you shall suffer a CURSE... swift and sure and ruthless!" Rose thunders.

[LILITH]
"Woah, where did they dig this one up!?" Lilith blinks in surprise at Kelly's appearance and approach, looking taken back by the zombie makeup... she hopes?--before regaining her composure.

"Aw what happened to you? You look like my sister after a long weekend, whew boy, don't let her sit in the sun! Pee-yew!" she comically holds her nose, realizing it's prosthetics--then turns to face Rose.

"Walk like an Egyptian, baby! Not gonna lie though, I do kinda prefer her regular outfits," she winks for the camera before adjusting her long shoulder-length purple velvet gloves.

"Now then, with the... pleasantries DISPATCHED, how about we get to work dispatching eachother?~" Lilith's red, green-lined wings extend from her side and briefly morph into long swords, while she raises her arms up high, as if she's raising the roof--the blades clanging together like she's anxious to use them!

CHNG. CLANG.

"Only curse here is that manicure, sweety" she winks at Rose.

With a snicker, Kelly sticks her tongue out at Lilith "Hey! Can't spell 'Kelly' without De Kay!". She seems faaaaaar too pleased with herself over her own joke..... She then slips into a stance, legs apart, one hand back and partially clenched, the other out and open with palm up.

Kellys hands and feet begin to glow with a faint white light as she peers sideways at Rose "manicure.... or the mummy morning breath!".

Lilith is able to make a pre-emptive slice with her wing blades towards the zombified Kelly before she can react--realizing she is not paying attention anyway! Things were easier that way!

"Eeep!" is Kellys sudden response as Liliths wing-blade comes slicing her way! She gets her arm up and catches the wing at the top where it blends into the connection to the succubus, where it's nice and dull, just long enough to bat the wing away with the other hand. The shock of the impact rattles her arm a bit, but no big deal overall. "Nice try, mini-minx! Almost got me!". Thrusting her hand out again as she steps in, Kelly creates a pulse of psionic energy in her palm. She stops her strike juuuust short of Liliths face, as the pulse bursts into a flash of bright white light to hopefully cause blindness as Kelly follows up with better attacks!

Rose's brow furrows as she attempts to figure out if Lilith insulted her for real-real or for play-play. Some things take a moment even for psychics. "Do not address the camera in the presence of another world!" Rose then shouts, raising up her arms.

She chants sonorously. The semi-reconstructed ancient Egyptian will, for the egyptologists in the audience (all sixteen of them), be the reading of a shopping list. But it SOUNDS impressive!

With a sudden flash - what did Kelly's flash glint off of?

"Hey, leggo of my wing--I'm not made of chicken, living dead girl!" Lilith protests as Kelly takes ahold of the situation, so to speak--pausing as the psi-energy is charged up right in front of her face--then she has to quickly try to bring her arms up before she's blown back. She is still recovering from this when Rose's knife flies through the air and embeds in her side. She looks down at it, before suddenly FREAKING OUT and grabbing at the handle and yanking it free--spurting blood everywhere. The Succubit has turned into a blood sprinkler as she dances and convulses about, rising up on her bladed wings to come down with her boot--turned into a scythe onto Kelly--her eyes trying to track where the knife came from.

If Kelly didn't look like a legit zombie before, now being covered in red courtesy of Lilith spurting blood everywhere definately makes the look even more authentic! "ACK! EEWW!" is her response as she tries to cover herself with her hands, and not be drenched further!

Unfortunately, this means she doesn't see the scythe-blade attack until the last minute, and despite trying to sidestep out of the way, the blade manages to catch her shoulder, leaving a decent and bleeding cut along the side of her shoulder and upper arm!

Wincing from the pain, Kelly gives a slightly feral grin, a hint of anger in her eyes that lasts only a moment. She throws a series of strong punches and kicks at Lilith as she pushes herself into the succubuses guard, ending with an attempted arm grab and shoulder throw!

[ROSE]
"Yes, bleed... bleed for the thirst of Horus and Set!" Rose intones. She pauses for a moment to dab some of Lilith's blood off her cleavage, her expression suggesting that she may be concerned that she's joined the Hepatitis Club.

"Oh don't worry about the blood--it'll just turn you into a soul-sucking succubus, just like me!" Lilith smirks, probably lying there. Probably. She does however spin herself into a rising, flying turn--spinning right towards Kelly with her wings suddenly going horizontal and now very sharp--like a damn bladed top! But will it be gantz or nisht!?

Seeing the spinning succubus, Kelly backs up. Using the flats of her palms, she bats away the kicks that come close enough, bruising her skin but otherwise unharmed as a result.

Watching the spinning attack carefully, Kelly leaps up and over the perimeter of the attacks damaging area, and comes down in an airial axe-kick with her heel aimed towards Liliths head!

"You are thirteen years old," Rose tells Lilith, mildly.

She crouches slightly then, and

leaps!

forwards, past Kelly, over Kelly in fact, to go and stand upon that nearby altar, arms folded scenically. This is partly so she can glower, partly so her heeled toe could hit at Kelly's side, but mostly so she can hiss at the crew to give her a wet-nap for the blood stains.

[LILITH]
"Oh crap--how did you dodge it--" Lilith is too amazed by what just happened at first, then drops out of her spin and lands on her heeled boots with a click against the dusty tomb floor. It was still very much dusty there, despite the work people that had been through--and her boots met grit and detritus.

"Lets see how you like this!" Lilith tumbles toward Kelly with a forward somersaulting kick, her wings turning into blades spikes as she brings them down on the zombie made-up girl!

It's a tough situation..... Kelly can't take her eyes off Lilith due to the succubuses speed and resiliance, and Rose is also bearing down on her to make her life difficult.... Attempting to focus, Kelly tries her best to simply ignore the pain and push through Roses kick, deciding the succubus is the greater threat at the time.... It instead strikes a nerve in Kellys lower back, and sends shooting pain through the girls body!

This pain proves to be a boon in disguise, as Kellys mind is shaken by the intense pain, and when she opens her eyes from the intense wince it provokes, they are glowing with bright white light. Psionic power spikes through her arms, and she thrusts them forwards, 'catching' Lilith in midair before the attack his, suspending her there telekeneticly.

With a cry of rage, Kelly uses this power to spin Lilith in the air faster and faster. After a moment, when she feels the succubus is spinning fast enough for her taste, Kelly launches her across the room at high speed with a burst of telekenetic force!

Afterwards, the light dims again, and her look of rage subsides as she pushes back whatever thoughts brought it on.....

[LILITH]
"Ahhhhhh!" Lilith is smashed against the far side of the tomb wall, nearly plastered there. She is able at some point to prise herself free of it and drifts back down to the dusty tomb floor, falling and drifting as if she's made of paper--back and forth, or rather like a leaf.

Lilith is pretty messed up--but she still has something up her sleeve--or rather, hat!

"Coem here girls--take your medicine!" Lilith pulls a glowing black silk tophat out of behind her--out of the id--and tosses it directly at Kelly! There is some concern at first whether she meant to throw it at Kelly or Rose--since she's so woozy--but it's definitely going in Kel's direction, regardless of intent!

Having to take a moment to catch her breath after the use of power as well as the surge of uncharacteristic rage, Kelly blinks as she sees Lilith throw..... a hat?

A.... hat..... (Somehow..... i REALLY Don't want to know.....).

Her arms come up, hands glowing as she channels psionic energy once more..... and she waits. The hat sails closer, and Kelly has to think back. Back to her lessons with her brother.... all her training in the village..... (patience.... don't panic!). She has to time it juuuust perfectly to pull this off, and the urge to act too soon races through her mind.

The hat gets to be within mere inches, almost touching her, when she clenches her eyes shut and focuses hard! Psionic energy pulses between her hands, generating a field that sends the hat back towards it's mistress! Kelly cautiously opens one eye cautiously, followed by the other when she sees that it worked!

The smile on her face speaks volumes.

[LILITH]
How could this happen?? Might have been the last thing Lilith thought--just as her magically charged projectile is reflected BACK at her, and bonks her right over the head. She is almost rendered unconscious--wavering there back and forth as what looks like a set of red curtains with gold trim descend around her.

"What the--Wait, no! No no no no!"

The young succubi's protests are muffled by the curtains--and the hat that wafts down and fastens snugly to the contours of her head.

There is a pause, but when the curtains are drawn back--things began to happen. A large round stage-like platform has risen up from beneath it with the words 'SHOWTIME' in rounded cartoony block lettering, glowing all manners of neon light, very Las Vegas.

Lilith is standing atop this stage, the hat is nowhere to be seen--however it's... not really Lilith. Or is it? She's clad in a black leather underbust leotard--though with accompanying black spandex bra--black leather pauldrons with silvery spikes, heavy silver chain necklesses hung around her neck. Her hair is darker and her skintone has taken on a more pleasant ebony mocha shade. Garters or suspender straps hitch black stockings to the leotard itself, leading down to black leather stiletto boots. And she has two long staves or sticks... both rimmed with fire?

She begins to dance--a fire dance, elegantly turning, deftly swinging the sticks blazing with fire around her. Kelly's attack psionically reflected attack seemed to have obeyed it's new master and so she's taken on Kelly's own trademarks here--the black leather and fire!

The dance is quite impressive, and Lilith has an uncharacteristically pleasant smile on her features--she seems to be enjoying herself, at that. Her movements contain none of the bombastic or tomboyish traits she normally displays--this is pure flair, grace. She arches her back sexily as she comes to the end of it, the sticks raised above her...

And the sticks immediately flare up--engulfing her in flames! It's like a five a clock inferno--and the whole set of curtains and stage disappear in a fiery explosion--leaving Lilith lying prone in the cinders that remain.

"Uhhhnnn...."

"Are you having a nap?" says Rose, from her altartop perch.

A bottle of water is thrown at Lilith.

Rose herself is busily digesting what the hell has just happened, as it was a combination of spectacular in a sense of workmanlike control of energy and thought, and terrifying, in that - well - it did all of that with the outfit, just now. In some ways it was beyond anything she ever saw -That Man- do.

And she's only a child! Rose thinks, staring at Lilith with some horror. And yet, her eyes turn to Kelly: And yet, THAT one was able to send it back...

Kelly is..... suprised to say the least.

She just kinda stands there and watches, impressed with the skill with which Lilith whirls the flames around, real skill or part of the magic or not.

Once it's finished she gives a brief applause as she approaches. When Rose throws the water bottle, she follows up behind it, attempting to punch Lilith in the face just behind the bottle, using it as a sort of covering distraction potentially!

The water bottle actually clonks into Lilith's head, though she does pick it up and sip from the bottle, looking rather charred by the eruption of flames! When Kelly closes the distance however, Lilith flips herself up--and then rises into the air--her outfit... explodes into bats. But not the rest of her--instead, the bats swarm about Kelly and try to tear her asunder, more or less--before they reform back into Lilith as her outfit. She's decent the entire time somehow--though some trick of the light? Who knows!

Rose folds her arms imperiously again, remaining on her high perch.

"Do you think that such tricks will escape the wrath of the dead? Your sins and flippancy belie the weight of ma'at upon your soul." She said ma'at completely correctly; it's a gift.

Her attention turns towards Kelly afterwards. Watching. Waiting. Judging, perhaps?

[KELLY]
Kellys arms come up tight like a boxer around her torso as she leaps back just out of range of the attack, trying to fend off the multitude of bats! Several strike her guard, doing minimal damage, but none get in for a clean hit!

Once out of the bounds of the bats range, she gathers psionic energy to her body, glowing brightly for a moment, before releasing it, sending a wave of psionic energy in all directions for a few feet! Rose is out of range, but Lilith is definately not! It may also clear out the bats, which is the secondary intention!

As the bats reform, Lilith is left standing tere, blinking just as the nova of energy hits her--which leaves her burned and the rest of her clothing smoking and tattered, even more than it already was! Just as she begins to go down--she arches her body foward and takes off like a bullet toward Kelly--trying to impact against her, to which she'll split into two copies of herself for SICK combo attack action--that is until... she slumps right over, passed out. Being a succubus is hard! You have no idea when tose hats will turn on you, either!

COMBATSYS: Lilith can no longer fight.

Kelly is taken off-guard by Liliths sudden attack, and slips up when she tries to dodge too suddenly, leaving her wide open!

The strikes hit home, and her body seems to almost convulse as the double-strikes from both sides rock her this way and that..... when it finally ends, and Lilith slumps over, Kelly is still standing..... shuddering. She slowly slides to her hands and knees, trembling from the damage done.....

COMBATSYS: Kelly takes no action.

After a moment, she slowly and painfully pulls herself to her feet. She still has a slight shake, but her eyes are open and alert as she looks over at Lilith. Seeing her down for the count, Kelly then looks over to Rose "Pretty sure i'm at my limit, if i'm supposed to take you out too". She looks over at the camera crew "Call it here? or was it over once she or I went down?"

[ROSE]
"Your fate was ordained when you came to this tomb," Rose tells Kelly, sonorously.

Then she glances at the camera crew with an artful tilt of the head. She gives Kelly a low-key 'okay' with one hand.

"So be it ruled! You have prevailed and the rage of the Underworld is ended, seethed and sated for now. Bring forth the honored dead, so that the lights and brains may be properly interred..."

Cut!

Rose slumps as the filming ends, and she says to Lilith, "Do you need a hand up? We aren't actually going to take out your brains." To Kelly, she says, "Did you know that? They took your brain out with hooks. Strangely enough, they thought you could do well without it."

[KELLY]
Kelly nods as she looks down to help Lilith from the other side if needed "Oh, yea. i know! They stuck a hot poker up into your nose, and twisted it around before pulling it out, if i recall right!". Meanwhile a medic comes over to give her and Lilith a once-over for injuries.

[LILITH]
"Mmphh, mmmphhh..." Lilith is on a stretcher with a sheet over her, an oxygen cup over her mouth, muffling her comments which are likely being annoyed at Kelly and Rose--looking like a fried green tomato--minus the green part. At least she has managed to keep her corporeal form after being defeated and drained of energy, though--she has been getting better! The ratings for the evening are spectacular, as it turns out--with the montage of Lilith fire-dancing apparently captured from multiple different angles being repeated more than a few times.

Ratings spike and 5x10 glossies are sold by mail order over the weekend.
