Description: It's time for a grudge match between Rainbow Mika and the Giant of Gedo, Gan! In the PFW's plexiglass arena there's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and nothing to do but fight until there's only one left standing!
"YO MR. PEACH! How's the girlfriend!?"
"Gan, you up to go later? Wait, better as YOUR GIRLFRIEND FIRST!"
"Ah, Gan-sempai... I think you and Mrs. Peach are a wonderful couple~."
It really was becoming a thing that happened over and over again. He just wanted to get out, get some food, have a pretty rough fight and do his best! Still sometimes they just have it out for you! Gan, however good natured to his opponents, doesn't share that nature in his actions, movements and especially not the unrelenting pain! For one of them, at least! Gan takes it about as well as he gives it! Usually.
"You! Big guy!" "Whaddaya want?" Gan exclaimed through a rice-ball, before turning, "Want a second chance at that peach you fought in that church?" The entire thing was swallowed immediately - and Gan was on board! "Gyahahah! YOU BET!" He proclaimed, a fist slamming into his chest - and the barrel on it.
Which is what brings him to the PFW GRUDGE DOME. The massive plexiglas arena that houses them both in sunny malibu! The sun beats down upon Gan as he clanks across the arena, the thick plexi managing to keep him standing up, which is quite weird! He usually doesn't stand on the stuff.
"Now, where is she!?" The crowd that gathered is certainly happy to see the rematch - they have more cameras and everything! "I'm not gonna be happy until I get another chance! Gyahaha!" He flexes a bit, twisting his head this way and that!
When it comes to fights, especially as part of the Neo-League, Rainbow Mika has never been especially focused on whether or not she came out on top. Obviously a win is better than a loss, but the most important aspect of any fight is whether or not the crowd is excited. The fans in the crowd are the reason why the fight exists, so you achieve victory by giving them a fight to remember!
This has always been a major advantage professional wrestling has over the other forms of fighting, the focus on the fans. It's not about hiding away in dojos and only fighting when you want to prove yourself or something like that, wrestlers get out in front of the crowd sometimes once or twice a week! Obviously this puts some strain on the excitement of watching people fight, because rather than once a year facing off, you might see the same people in the ring all through the year.
The answer? Drama! Wrestlers put on their ring personas, play to the crowd. Personalities are exaggerated and rivalries are invented and then turned up to the extreme. A fight between two people that are perfectly friendly? It turns out that one thinks the other cheated and now it's a grudge match! The connection builds the thrills up to maximum!
So, despite the fact that her fight against the Gan had been perfectly friendly from her point of view, there are no hard feelings when she gets contacted by PFW about setting it up as a revenge match. Just another opportunity to the crowd on a good story.
And it seems to have worked. The crowd surrounding the glass cage is going wild as the Gedo Giant works it up. Breaking through the deafening roar of the crowd comes a few notes that have been becoming iconic in the fighting world: Rainbow Mika's entrance music. The buxom star comes blazing down the ramp, stopping just where the ramp meets the ring and holding a microphone up to her mouth. "I guess the last time we fought you didn't get enough, but this time, in front of the incredible people of Sunshine City," she pauses for a moment as the cheap pop cheers swell, "you're going to get a chance to feel the full force of RAINBOWMANIA!"
And just like that the Mikamaniacs in the crowd let out a deafening cheer. This is certainly a lot more interesting than being surrounded by nuns.
"This time we might not be in a church, but I'll still bring you to your knees," Mika announces before blowing her opponent a quick kiss. The mic is surrepticiously handed off to a crouching stage hand as she makes her way into the plexiglass box to face down the mountainous challenger.
It's not about the crowd when it's all about yourself! Not so much winning or losing, but just fighting! Who cares about the whole crowd thing anyways! If you like what you do, or at least, fighting! Who cares who's watching! Although there is going to be the truth that the Gedo students ARE watching after all!
Which kind of sucks, actually.
Still, with Rainbow Mika showing her face - coming down the ramp - Gan twists his head when the booming voice comes out, Rainbow Mika proclaims that he's going to feel the full force of RAINBOWMAINA! "I didn't come here for that kind of stuff!" Gan proclaims. "I'M NO MR. PEACH!" He proclaims, clearly! It's not that he hates Rainbow Mika - and it's not him playing anything up, really - it's just that Gan is interested in a fight, and a chance, maybe, to have them stop with the names!
As the kiss is blown, Gan attempts to swat it out of the sky with a heavy swing - intent on keeping it as far away from him as possible!
"Whatever you come at me with, I'm not going to back down all the same! I'm not going to be falling to my knees anytime soon!" Gan proclaims, slamming a heavy foot forwards, sandal cracking against the plexiglass in a display of strength!
As Rainbow Mika climbs into the clear cage, a stagehand comes up to close the door, leaving both competitors trapped in their arena. There is no escape, no reinforcements, no opportunity to sneak in weaponry. All attempts at deception and trickery are as easy to see through as the battlefield!
Once the two are face in their arena, the absurd size difference between them becomes impossible to ignore. While Gan may not tower to quite the extent of some of the more famous grapplers in the world, he still has a good foot of height on Mika and weighs close to twice as much as her.
And yet there's no sign of fear on the Japanese' blonde's face, just excitement. It's time to fight!
And then the bell rings.

Which, of course, Gan isn't bothered by!
Why would he? He's not the most clever fighter - he's pretty straightforwards!
As such, a battle where the two opponents are stuck in an arena? Of course he'd be up for that!
"Gyahaha!" Gan proclaims, with as little extra input as possible, as Gan faces down the smaller Rainbow Mika - which didn't seem to hurt her before! Still, has Gan managed to figure out a bit more in that time!? That would, of course, mean Gan would have had to think on things.
It's very unlikely.
Where before Rainbow Mika bravely charged forth, now Gan doesn't even wait around! He begins his charge, as brutal as ever, heavy sandal lifting from the ground and crashing forth on the plexiglass before the other comes down as well!
Each step after the other brings him closer and closer to Rainbow Mika as he strides across the see-through battle-field, a heavy arm swung backwards as it looks like Gan is about to plow right into Rainbow Mika, shoulder first!
Before the massive arm shoots forwards, palm first, intending to smash straight into her midsection!

Wrestlers are big.
Okay, that's not universally accurate, there are a great many high fliers that are relatively small and nimble. There are plenty of female wrestlers that trend toward smaller sizes, also. The major point is that when Rainbow Mika dreams about being the best female wrestler, she doesn't just mean that in terms of fighting other female wrestlers. No, the only reason why she doesn't set sights on being the best wrestler ever is because that would mean she somehow accomplished the impossible and became stronger than the mighty Zangief.
What does this mean? It means Rainbow Mika has trained hard to be able to fight people many times her size. People larger than even Gan. It means that despite the fact that there's a hand nearly the size of her head flying at her right now, she isn't just going to just fold over. The hand is met with a cross block. Unfortunately, there's some intense backsliding, but that might be due to the fact that plexiglass isn't exactly known for being high friction, and the sound of rubber soles sliding on plexiglass is an awkward, extended squeak.
Maybe in the future the PFW should invest in a more regulation floor to go with clear walls.
Coming right off from the block, Rainbow Mika just grins, planting a few quick slaps to her backside as she turns around in place and then suddenly leaps up in reverse. Bent over at the midsection, her ass becomes a missile as she hits the peak of her arc and then starts to combine launch and fall power together in an effort to lay Gan out.

Big or little, Gan isn't a wrestler!
Though he certainly can pass for a sumo!
It helps that he mostly is one, as well!
With Gan's size no longer a factor in this match, Gan is forced to rely on his sheer physical strength and phsique! It has actually been the case for many a fight, where Gan's physical strength was relied over his stature! Yet it's still not something that Gan is willing to let bother him - actually, he never seems to mind that! He just likes to throw down. Something he is definitely getting to do /at this very moment/.
The massive hand meets the cross block, Rainbow Mika being slid away from the plexiglass, rubber soles sliding awkwardsly backwards! Still, she comes right back at him, Rainbow Mika planting her slaps on her - no way! Gan grits his teeth as she leaps up in reverse bending over, ass first towards Gan! She comes down towards him, and Gan - Gan charges forwards!? And then that giant rear comes straight towards Gan, crashing into him - and yet Gan lets it, as if it was some kind of terrible action, before Gan manages to heave Mika off of him, tossing her slightly back - finally, after all of his pushing forwards - where a massive foot rises upwards, slamming the plexi-glass and into Rainbow Mika if she isn't quick!
At which points, an shockwave of chi would erupt outwards!
"Gyahah! "

Okay, having somebody prepare to smack you back just as you're bouncing off of them can be a bit of a problem. There's not a whole lot of tactical options when you find yourself out in mid-air. What can you do?
In Rainbow Mika's case, she opts for something a bit painful. If she has no option of avoiding the hit, she'll take advantage of the fact that there are walls all around. Walls might lock you in place, but they also provide new surfaces to work with; like ropes that cover the entire sides of the ring all the way up to the ceiling!
She goes flying back with the hit, wincing somewhat as she's crushed into the wall by Gan's big boot (well... big foot, he's not really wearing any boots), a big wave of chi... just another thing to send her bouncing (not like that).
As Gan backs off, Mika suddenly kicks off the wall she'd just been pinned to. Providing very little room to move out of the way, her reckless rise up aims to slam both her thighs on either side of the giant Gedo student's head while the surprising force aims to knock him on his back. From this famous hold, she plants both hands on the floor and with incredible strength clenches down on Gan's head and whips him up over her in a handstand before crushing the top of his skull into the ground.

Rainbow Mika is sent flying!
However, Mika is kicking off against a wall!
That's a bit fast!
Gan's slammed into, thighs on either side of his head once again clamping down as he attempts to peel off Rainbow Mika! It doesn't quite work, leaving him slamming straight into the ground, Gan finding himself whipped up into the air before crashing down onto his skull once more - causing him to stay down for a brief moment!
It's really quite rough!
However, it's not as if Gan is staying down for very long! With a heavy grunt, Gan stands straight upwards again, cracking his knuckles slightly as he stares towards Rainbow Mika, taking a step forwards. "Not bad!" He proclaims, however friendly it may be, taking a brief moment to size her up once more. For a brief moment, at least! He swings an arm, another leg slamming against the ground besides him, putting him in position!
COMBATSYS: Gan focuses on his next action.

After a good hit like that, it's always important to play to the crowd (unless it's the part of the match where you're trying to land a pin, but this is just getting started). Build up the heat, unless you're planning to just keep hitting your opponent with everything you've got. You can let the match slow, but you never let the match die down.
So as Gan is bringing himself back up to his feet, the bombshell wrestler has already popped back up and started flexing her right arm for the crowd to show off. Her eyes are pulling across the crowd, singling out fans armed with either signs cheering her on or dressed in Rainbowmania attire. Once they've been identified, it's second nature for the wrestler to play to those parts of the crowd when she gets a moment.
And then Gan's back up to his feet, and he's not really starting the fight back up. A ready position, either to stir up the sumo fans in the crowd or to prepare himself... "You shouldn't be surprised, the last time we faced each other down, I was the one who was standing at the end of it." A quick taunt, just enough to rile up a little bit.

Never let the match die down?
Gan doesn't even know what that means!
No one is going to die, after all!
Still, Rainbow Mika is of course up and ready to go! With eyes pulling across the crowd, singling out fans for Mika, Gan is more focused on the bomb-shell, but not her bombshells! With Rainbow Mika taking the time to focus more or less on herself and her own actions, Gan is left to his own machinations! Which in this case is the never ending forwards motion towards Rainbow Mika! Striding forth towards Mika, Gan slams his heavy sandals against the plexiglass, making careful progress to her as she gets her cheers off, playing to the crowd!
"Gyahaha! Yeah, good point!" He agrees, remembering it quite well. Has he forgoten?! Still, a taunt shouldn't be agreed with, should it?!
With a slight jog, Gan closes the distance, aiming to grasp Rainbow Mika's legs before lifting her up and whipping her against the ground!

And the fight starts picking up again. As Gan lunges for her, Rainbow Mika doesn't even start to move. Out in the crowd a young girl in a Rainbowmania shirt shourts out "Look out Mikaaaaa!" just a bit too late. The crowd favorite (perhaps because she is actually intent on pleasing the crowd instead of just getting a big fight) hits the ground hard.
Oh no! The young Rainbowmaniac looks worried as the hit nearly knocks the wind out of the ring idol!
On the bounce, Mika actually bounces. Using the full force, she ends up twisting back to her feet as Gan lets go of her and attempts to use her smaller size and greater speed to her advantage as she rushes around behind the giant and wraps both arms around his waist.
"OOOORRRRYAAAAAAA!" comes Rainbow Mika's shout as she hauls back and uses all of the surprising strength in her body to reintroduce Gan's skull to the floor. As she pops back up, she blows a kiss to the (hopefully) now cheering maniac!

The fight has anything but picked up!
Gan was just being nice in attempting to have her meet the ground!
It was only a friendly meeting, she hadn't been there for long, after all!
Still, Mika bounces, once more like a bumble, bringing her up and nearly knocking Rainbow Mika out of the ring! Still, with her bounce, Mika manages to use her size and speed to rush behind Gan and wrap her arms around his waist!
Gan attempts to pull himself out of it, wtretching his massive body - but he simply can't! The shout from Rainbow Mika is certainly loud, Gan thinks, as he slams his skull once more to the ground.
The kiss is once more blown, but to someone NOT Gan. He'll later use that footage to simply claim - she's not his 'Ms. Peach shut up' in a pretty simple fashion. The next addition would probably be Gan slamming the guy/girl into the ground. Equal opportunity.
Still, with Gan rising, he doesn't stay down for altogether too long, slamming a foot into the ground before Rainbow Mika before swinging towards her, heavy wide swing after heavy wide swing, chi glowing on his hands as he swings, attmepting to crash through whatever 'guard' she might have and bring the Rainbow Mania to an end!

Rising Gan?!
Well, obviously you can't expect your opponent to stay down forever, not even with the sort of head trauma that Mika is capable of dishing out... and especially not against an opponent that's built like the Gedo Giant. If she manages to pull out another win, she's probably going to have to break through the plexiglass with her opponent's body.
That would be a hell of a highlight for the crowd...
Hardly the time to be thinking about finishers, though. Not when she's facing down some sumo slaps. It's a rough assault, and one that she weathers with some difficulty. Her arms move to intercept each of the concecutive blows on her forearms, gritting her teeth through all of the pain.
And then it's over.
For a moment she looks worn down, battered, tired... but it's gone in an instant. "It's going to take a lot more than that to put a stop to Rainbowmania!" Mika bellows out loud enough that even trapped in a plexiglass cage, every member of the audience, all the way up to the nosebleed section, can hear her clearly. "LET'S SEE JUST WHAT YOU CAN DO WHEN RAINBOWMANIA TAKES CONTROL!"
With a surge of motion, she flies forward, clenching at Gan's collar and hauling him down to head height as she begins to unleash a furious barrage of headbutts. Every blow is accompanied by a cheer from the crowd, each wind-up filled with slowly rising "oooooh's" to build up to the punctuation. By the time it's over, she's hopefully left him seeing stars (or peaches) swirling around his head.
With the giant right where she wants him, she slips her arm around his neck and goes charging forward, dragging him head first straight at the wall. She leaps up, catches her boots without a beat skipped, and runs up the wall, holding onto Gan until the last moment where she finishes the flip just after his face should be smeared against the plexiglass and then drops both boots onto the back of his head.

Falling Gan.
As Rainbow Mika poses, Gan can barely think straight.
It doesn't matter though - because Gan doesn't need to think.
The inevitable is that Gan will be put through the plexiglass. If history has anything to say about it, Gan will most certainly be the body that crashes first - he's simply not as skilled as Rainbow Mika. He has no drive, no interest, beyond the fight itself. Perhaps it is a strength to some, but Gan is one that has no interest in getting better. He's used his strength for himself. What purpose, save protecting Akira, should he ever really use it for?
Stil, Rainbow Mika manages to weather the storm, each blow being caught and simply brushed aside, even if she looks worn. Gan knows exactly how durable she is. It simply is impossible that she's as worn as she looks. He's not that dumb.
Still, Rainbow Mika talks. She yells. There's a lot of both. He doesn't really pay attention to either, laughing - and in the end, the crowd is the one that laughs last. She connects, Rainbow Mika getting her cheers - nobody would cheer for Gan. He's a nobody, a giant that happened to manage to fight Rainbow Mika - to manage to fight her foot to foot. Like all giants, he is bound to fall. Headbutt after headbutt crash into Gan, the kid unable to stabilize. It's completely dizzying, Gan unable to focus after each and every strike.
Yet then there is more. Arms around his neck are wrapped before Gan is dragged into a wall, being caught before she flips him onto his face, smearing it against the plexiglass. It's a mess. He's a mess, Gan slammed hard into both, both boots slamming into the back of his head to finalize it.
There's a lot of blood. A janitor will be tasked for it.
Somehow, Gan steps to his feet. It is not a fast movement. Hands push him upwards, barely getting his large form off the ground. Then a knee or two meaty muscles fighting to get the man once more up. It comes slow, carefully, unrelentingly slow. The kind that could kill a crowd, if they weren't already cheering for Rainbow Mika anyways.
Once he gets a foot under him, Gan rises - and when he rises, he lashes out. Once more, like before, heavy hands swing with the energy behind that that glowed before oh so brightly, now is but a bare whisper. Even as he swings with all he is worth, he can barely see from the dizzying effects of the assault.
Each and every swing hurts him, though it is likely they may hurt just as badly.

That... that hit quite a bit harder than intended.
Certainly she's seen blood in the ring. In fact, quite of bit of it had been her own. You don't get through all of the fights that someone like Rainbow Mika has been in through (not just in her career, but also her intense training to even get started) without bleeding some. What she ended up doing to Gan was way more than expected, and for a moment she's ready to call in the ring doctor to check him out.
Of course, that moment goes flying right past when the giant gets back up to his feet, and there's only a flash of instinct as he starts to power into his attack where she has a moment to ready herself. She tenses up, hoping to be able to take that hit and then move things into a quick pinfall or something so that he can get checked out.
Nope, instead she's hit by what feels like a brick wall. Each hit is bad, and the last one sends her flying into the plexiglass wall so hard that cracks begin to spread out in every direction.
Some of the crowd goes silent in a moment of shock, but this is a PFW match, and PFW has been selling itself on real fighting. They host matches that edged close to fights to the death, and they've managed to cultivate an audience. There are always fight fans out there that cheer a come back, a big moment, no matter how much it looks like it hurts. Gan and Mika sure as hell put together a big moment.
As for the fans in the audience who are worried... Rainbow Mika pushes forward off the wall, stumbling a bit but managing to hold to her feet. She's actually got a hell of a smile on her face. "You've got guts, I'll give you that. Rainbowmania doesn't give up without a fight, but you won't take it lying down either. Let's see who'se got what it takes!"
A quick speech, that's all that the crowd needs to come back from that shock. Rainbow Mika doesn't always win, sometimes she comes out of her fights in rough shape, but she'll put on a hell of a show!
Without hesitation she's back in the fight, charging across the open field, she leaps into a flying drop kick aimed for Gan's midsection, fully intent on knocking the wind out of the giant (even through his protective barrel). Bouncing back off, there's no hesitation as she tries to catch him around the neck, plant a hand on his midsection, and then hauls him up vertical on her shoulder. An absurd balancing act, with their difference in scale, that's follow up with Mika dropping backward to slam Gan's back into the ground. After the workout his head's received, she decides to avoid giving him any further concusions.

As hard as it hit, Gan isn't very fast.
He can only dish it out.
Sometimes, he can take it too.
This isn't that case. Not at all. Bleeding as horrible as Gan is, he can only sense it's coming - especially when you may have suffered extensive cranial damage. As he tries to see the result, Gan stares into what may as well be a heavy downpour. Eyes glaze over for a moment as he thinks about rice balls - how delicious they are - but he fights his attention back.
A bit too late. "Gyayahaha." It's without any internal strength. "You want don't know hurt how!" He answers Rainbow Mika, with all of the seriousness and language he can comprehend and remember at the moment.
All on prime-time television. He'll never live it down.
Provided of course, he manages to survive - even in such a contained environment, there are mistakes. A quick speech manages to bounce her fans back. Gan does not have fans - though he has a few friends at school. That's enough. They know he's a simple, strong witted dope - but he's got the strength. That's enough to keep a lot of them on his good side. They don't generally try to bother him.
History does repeat itself again - once more, the bouncing buxom lady charges forth, hauling Gan onto her shoulders before she drops him backwards, bleeding as he does, into the ground. It doesn't matter that Mika attempts to prevent his head from anymore strikes as the back crashes through the plexiglass, the giant crashing down head first against the concrete as he attempts to reverse the situation.
Yet, just like putting Gan into a class room, it is a hopeless endeavor. His strength is not able to match her speed, Rainbow Mika crashing Gan through the ground once, once more besting the giant, just like her fans want.
Gan doesn't seem to mind, however, mind completely blank as he's knocked out - enough strikes to the head will do that, especially with the damage he had already sustained.
The end result is Rainbow Mika's defeat of the giant - the much 'hyped match' ending with a near identical result as the first.
Gan may have hesitation next time - if he could even remember what happened. It might be a toss-up.
A rough finish. Certainly a big one, but nowhere near the most graceful. Whoever decided that plexiglass was an acceptable floor material for a fight between professional fighters was an idiot. The walls at least didn't have to put up with all of the constant hits or supporting weight, just the occasional slam.
As for Mika, there's a moment after Gan hits the ground where she just looks on, concerned. Maybe tossing around someone as large as that on an unstable platform was a bad idea. Finishing the fight out so that he'd have a chance to see the fight medics also seemed like a really good idea at the time, less so now.
Although, on the plus side, now that he's out of the cage it's easy enough for the fight medics to rush over to start checking on the downed Gedo student. As soon as Mika sees that he's being taken care of, she starts to relax. Nothing else she can do right now.
This is the awkward part of the fight, where someone takes a rough beating and victory has been achieved. The fight is quickly declared in Rainbow Mika's favor, and someone has the good sense to pass her a mic. Time to work the crowd.
"No matter how tough the fight, no matter how strong my opponents, Rainbowmania will keep going! If it weren't for the support of all of you Rainbowmaniacs out there, I might not have had what it takes to stand up to an incredible opponent like Gan, but with the sound of you cheering me on I will keep fighting until I've got nothing left in me!"
Cheers flood forth from the crowd again. A charismatic personality pulling away all the shock from a match that rough. Gan might not be walking out of here unaided, but at least the cameras will be mostly focused on her for the time being.
