FIGHTFEST 2025: Match Card (Rivals)
The International Fighting Festival is now underway, and PFW is proud to present this selection of combat exhibitions both live and on stream!
-== NFG RIVALS PREVIEW EXHIBITION ==-
STAGE: Southtown - International Fighting Festival (RIVALS version)
Our upcoming Rivals season will feature students from each of Southtown's major high schools competing over the course of several months to prove which school stands tallest amongst its peers in the martial arena! For now, the schools have been invited to put forward participating pupils to provide a taste of what's to come for our audience! A special arena - the RIVALS BATTLEZONE - has been set up to ensure that the safety and fun of the students is a priority, and will also be available for kids to play in between exhibitions!
TAIYO EXHIBITION: Nako vs Faye
To show that they're more than just the mass-market median amongst Southtown's academic institutions, Taiyo High plans to highlight its diversity by pitting Nako the nue against Faye, the Canadian! These two won't be facing each other in the official competition, so this is a chance for these schoolmates to size each other up and sharpen their skills for the matches ahead!
SEIJYUUN-GORIN EXHIBITION: Sana vs Tsukiko
Seijyuun prides itself on educating its students in the traditional feminine values of Japanese culture, while Gorin prides itself on putting forward the best athletes of the next generation. Will the grace of one of Gorin's great gymnasts in Tsukiko be able to match the style of one of Seijyuun's select fighters in Sana?
PACIFIC-TAIYO EXHIBITION: Signi vs Keiko
As one of the competitors hailing from the greatest distance, Signi exemplifies Pacific High's international credentials - and being from Denmark, she seems like the perfect fighter to face the ice-cold kickboxing of Keiko! Robot arms might seem like an unfair advantage, but Keiko has some cool abilities of her own!
JUSTICE-GEDO EXHIBITION: Inei vs Ayaki
In case things didn't seem serious enough, we've got Kuroki Inei of Justice High facing off against Amano Ayaki of Gedo! A former student of Justice himself, Ayaki was transferred to Gedo due to interpersonal problems - so he might have a real chip on his shoulder when it comes to this match! Meanwhile, the pressure will be on for Inei prove the pride of Justice's super-elite students is well-placed against one of their previous pupils with what we're told are some spooky special powers!

FIGHTFEST 2025: Match Card (Main Stage)
-== MAIN STAGE MATCHES ==-
STAGE: Southtown - International Fighting Festival (unless otherwise specified)
Throughout the event, various exhibition matches will be held on the main stage in Southtown Mall, with several familiar faces returning to the scene! Here's a lineup of the highlight matches anticipated. There might be more to look out for, including spontaneous spectacles, so be sure to check out the festival grounds in person!
Momoko vs Sarah - "Let's Get This Party Started!"
What better way to kick off the party for Fightfest 2025 than with the NFG's own DJ Supernova hitting the mat? She'll be facing off against another capoeira prodigy - Gorin's own Momoko - to show who's got the best moves both on the dancefloor and in the ring!
Velvet Blue vs Kenzo - "Electric Circus"
It's been a little while since we've seen Velvet Blue in a professional exhibition match. What better way to step back into the spotlight than at a festival? He'll be returning to the stage to face the New Fighting Generation's ninja, Kenzo! With two lightning-fast fighters dueling it out on the main stage, this is one that's sure to shock and delight audiences in equal measure!
Riki vs Braun - "Battle of the Beasts"
In a match specially sponsored by the Midnight Channel, the NFG's King of Beasts returns to the ring to face off against one of those rare fighters who loom even larger than he - the oni known as Riki! Apparently, the Midnight Channel will be offering a contract to whoever wins this battle of sheer ferocity versus sheer might.
Lilith vs Lucky Chloe - "A Match Maid in Hell"
As a promotional stunt put on by her label, pop idol Lucky Chloe has agreed (contractually) to put on a performance in the same maid outfit that she wears in the video for her single, 'Sugar <3 Service'! Strangely, no one told her opponent that she had to dress up as a maid, but Lilith will be doing so anyway! We're sure that this will be a good, clean fight!
Lyraelle vs Shermie - "Fashion Smash: The Return"
The original Fashion Smash match was one of the defining performances for Lyraelle back in her days debuting as the Demon Queen. Now, the Princess of Pink is returning to the ring to face off against fellow fashionista Shermie and settle the age-old question: Which is better, twintails or the high pony? This one's expected to be a friendly affair between two fighters who've hinted at plans to work with Southtown's students in the upcoming Rivals season!
Amane vs Big Bear* - "Dancing With Bears"
In a special guest appearance, one of the world's most deft dancers will be entering the ring with one of the most notorious heavyweights in the hopes of teaching him a lesson in style and grace! Meanwhile, Big Bear is competing for that most classic of reasons - a paycheck! Will either fighter prove to be too much for the other?
Kongou vs Sheeva* - "When We Say International..."
Stage: Howard Arena
This year's FightFest is proving to not only be an international event, but an interdimensional one! From the Backyard comes the Strongest Titan with a challenge to any with the might to face him. Answering the call will be another giant whose strength is out of this world! This main event match will be happening in a venue befitting the stature of its contestants: the Howard Arena!
* OOC Note: Big Bear will be temped by Kongou's player, while Sheeva will be temped by Sana's player!)
