DRIVEN / NOVA - The DRIVEN Effect and NOVA (Sig Imbued) no longer stack. Thematically, these two mechanics were representing the same concept. We typically don't let the same 'thematic element' stack from multiple mechanics. For example, EVADE/ALERTNESS don't stack, RESTORE/RECOVERY don't stack, and SMASH/POWER don't stack, because those mechanics all represent the same general idea in terms of character theme/power. Since DRIVEN/NOVA both represent the 'Damaging yourself to augment your output' thematic concept, we have made it so that they no longer stack. The way this will work mechanically is that if you use NOVA (no matter the magnitude), the DRIVEN flag will be ignored for that turn. VIGOR - Innervate is now a FREE action. We've found Innervate hard to weave into the flow of a fight when you actually want to use it. We're lifting the action restriction on that and evaluating the balance of the mechanic with that flexibility in play. In addition, when using the command, you now indicate how much super you want to get and it will tell you the approximate reserve cost, rather than spending reserve to guess the super you will get. The reserve cost it shows you will tend to be about 1% over what it actually costs due to rounding in the display, but it will never be more than what it shows you. CHARISMA - The threshold for unlocking your DM with B Charisma adjusted to 65. - D rank and C rank have swapped. It's been observed that on some builds, about the only way to spend 70 super before getting KO'd in shorter matches is by using your MAX, which makes all of your supers unappealing to use. The point of this late-match unlock isn't to force you to use your MAX, so we're lowing the threshold a little and evaluating it from there. With the D/C rank swap, the impact of the bonus super gain for dealing damage is just numerically stronger than the super discount mechanic. So to reflect their actual impact, we're swapping their places in the rank progression. So now: D CHARISMA = -[1] Super discount on all attacks C CHARISMA = +[20]% super gained for damage dealt RESTORE - REGENERATE (sig RESTORE) will no longer allow healing above 100% health. This is strictly a balance adjustment for REGENERATE. You will still start a match with 5% extra health, you will just not ever be able to gain any health until you drop below 100% health. REGENERATE is plenty strong as it is without edge case scenarios where characters shoot up past 110% health due a round 1 JD, or due to not being attacked for a round or two in a group fight. Enjoy.
