Dojo Drop Commands
The dojo now provides more flexibility in updating character builds.
Update #1617 - Dojo Drop Commands
The Training Dojo has been upgraded. You can now drop Ability Ranks, Traits, DMs, and Attacks using the Dojo.
Doing so will generate a pool of Temp AP for that Dojo Session that you can then spend in other areas of your build. If your Dojo Changes get approved, any left over Temp AP will be refunded to that character as Bonus AP ( AP you can only spend on that character ).
There are some restrictions to keep in mind when taking advantage of this new feature:
- If you drop an Attack, you must spend the Temp AP on a new Attack. You
cannot drop Attacks to spend Temp AP on other areas of your build. When you
go to finalize, the Dojo will require that you have at least the same number
of attacks as when you started the session.
- If you drop aspects of your build to generate Temp AP, spend the Temp AP,
then roll back the drops, you will generate negative Temp AP. You will be
unable to finalize the changes as long as you have a Negative Temp AP
balance.
- The Dojo is now stricter on making changes once you finalize. It used to let
you continue to make adjustments even after submitting the build for review.
That is no longer the case. Now once you hit dojo/justify, you can make no
further changes until the session is approved, denied, or you cancel it.
This addition required an extensive update to the Training Dojo code. If you encounter anything that doesn't feel intuitive, or doesn't give you the results you expect, please toss me a @mail so that I can look into it.
Enjoy. If you know what's good for you.
