Update #1481 - bboards, check, attackinfo

Wanted to let folks know about a few minor changes. Yay insomnia! ---- BBOARD GLOBAL READ SETTING ---- It's come to our attention that people don't want to read every single +bboard post on every single one of their alts. Gasp! So I have added a toggle setting to make +bboard a bit less spammy for people. If you want to mark posts as "read" when you type '+bbcatchup' or read it on this character: @set me=_prefs/bbglobal?:yes If you do NOT want to mark posts as "read" when you type '+bbcatchup' or read it on this character: @set me=_prefs/bbglobal?:no At the moment, if you want this on all your characters, you will need to set it manually. ---- INTERRUPT CHECKS ---- Up until this morning, if you typed 'check 1' on an interrupt, you might see something like this: Name Type Pwr Spd % T Cst Effects Take-Out Meal CHI 4 84 90 P 12 PROJ PROXIMITY Back Off Man, I'm A Scientist PHY 5 74 64 13 PROX CRUSH Deflection PHY 5 74 80 C 13 COUNTER EM+ Well, now you'll see something like this: Name Type Pwr % Type Cst Effects Take-Out Meal CHI 4 90 Proj 12 PROJ PROXIMITY Back Off Man, I'm A Scientist PHY 5 64 13 PROX CRUSH Deflection PHY 5 80 Catch 13 COUNTER EM+ We figured that the speed column was redundant. After all, when you type 'check 1' you're mostly concerned with interrupt chances and not attack chances. So we dropped the Spd column, and made the T column wider. Why? Because "C" could mean either "Counter" or "Catch." And "S" could mean either "Stop" or "Slow". Now, it'll be easier to get the desired result. "Type" will be one of the following: Proj: PROJECTILE interrupt - Success will overwhelm their projectile Neg: PROJECTILE interrupt - Success will negate their projectile Slow: PROJECTILE interrupt - Success will reduce the damage you take Coun: COUNTER Catch: CATCH - Success will eliminate projectile but not hurt opponent Refl: REFLECT Stop: REFLECT - Success will eliminate damage but not hurt opponent ---- ATTACKINFO ---- Finally, sometimes you might need a little help remembering what your attacks do -- for those moments, type 'attackinfo' and you'll get a list of your attacks. But then there are the times you might want to have your attack types in the same listing. To get detailed attackinfo that shows your attack effects, you can type: @set me=attacks/_detailed:yes If you prefer it the old way type this to reset it: @set me=attacks/_detailed:
