Match of the Millennium

Greetings, doodz! Thanks to everyone who has participated in our Odyssey event and a special thanks to Parasoul's player who came up with the theme. We're taking a break from your regularly scheduled matches to let you guys instead focus on hooking up in mentor-apprentice pairs. This can be done in one of four ways: 1.) RP a scene forming the partnership, such as this one between Roxana and Coco. http://motm.kicks-ass.net/log/idx/0012372.shtml 2.) Agree the partnership OOCly and ICly and say it happened off-camera. 3.) Agree the partnership OOCly but have it ICly arranged for them by the contest organisers against their preferences. 4.) Leave it up to chance who you end up with. Anyone who wants to take part in these teams needs to sign up using +signup NFGTEAMS. This is open now and will close end of day Sunday, May 5th. Once you have agreed a partnership, you can make a note in your plotnotes listing the partner and how the partnership has come about. Both participants should set this note to confirm that the players are happy with the selection. Anyone who has signed up but hasn't set a partner by the time the signup closes will be assigned a partner by me. Players cannot partner with their own alts. Each Season 2 character will be awarded 8 bonus AP to represent the benefits of partnership with their Season 1 mentor. Characters from both seasons have the chance to earn an additional 0.5 AP + 0.5 Bonus AP by submitting a cutscene for this round, which, as usual, can be a solo scene, an interview, or any other insight into your character's story. This event will be open to all NFG participants, including newcomers or those who haven't already made a return! Just be sure to +signup or get your application in by the signup deadline! For IC purposes, The Mermaid Cruise Ship will be travelling from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean during this time period, heading towards the next adventure for the NFGers, which will see these teams competing directly against each other! Further details of the upcoming event will be announced on Wednesday May 8th.
