It's a short video clip from a longer interview on the semi-popular FightTube podcast called Down Right Fierce. Zarine is wearing her fancy dress with a thorny looking headband holding her hair back. She seems as relaxed as it's possible for her to be in such a situation. The headphones seem to make her a little uncomfortable. The host seems a little wary, but is doing his best to be engaged and polite. "So, The first IchiCast of the season put both you and Laurel on blast for your brutality. I gotta say, it was like a slasher flick, but it was a riveting fight. This most recent one praised you for restraint. What are your thoughts about it?" The vampire shifts in her seat, her expression going thoughtful, if a bit flat. "I ... understand her concerns. To a point. I have no desire to end the life of any of my competition. That said, I wish to win. I will not hold back in order to make humans feel better about my presence. Neither should Miss Laurel. We are what we are. We cannot change it. If someone refuses to fight me due to prejudice or fear, that is their problem, not mine." She straightens, looking at the camera intensely. "That said, I have no intentions to enact permanant injury upon anyone. I am here to compete, not build a body count." The interview continues, covering her favorite blood type, what she does for fun in her free time, and how she's acclimating to the modern age.
