Hello, doodz! After a barn burner of a draft that concluded in a very timely manner, prospects and sponsors now have a couple of weeks off to prepare for the first round of the official NFG Season, taking place in Sunshine City! It's recommended that sponsors and prospects use this time to roleplay out establishing accommodations, training regimens, team-building exercises, and anything else you can think of! DOJO DETAILS ============ On an eminently related note, all NFG prospects have been released a bonus AP package! As the note will suggest, this is here to represent the support of your sponsor in your initial development, and it's recommended that you discuss with your sponsor OOCly (and better yet, scene ICly) to get an idea of how they might influence the expenditure of that AP! The ultimate say lies with the player of the character, of course, but this could be a fun way to tie the mechanical development of your character into your roleplay. This bonus AP is an advance on the total bonus AP pool of each prospect. As you might have guessed from the above, AP expenditure for NFG prospects in the Training Dojo is now UNLOCKED! Players are encouraged to spend their AP sometime before the beginning of the next round. AP caps should be able to be determined by using @ap/alt me, doubling the AP earned by that alt, and adding the 8 bonus AP now available. If you have any questions or confusion over what this number should be, check with me, Pringer X, who has been diligently tracking AP pools for all NFG OCs. EXTRACURRICULAR AP ================== There will be two initiatives that can qualify participants for extracurricular AP this season. The season will be divided into regional events, which will tie into the limitations of this extracurricular AP. The first applies only to NFG prospects. This AP can be earned once per region and will be rewarded for completing a solo writing project for your character in that region. This can include a wrestling-style promo, an interview, a cutscene, or a news event, if not something more creative. If it's about your character, is not a multi-person scene, and is of reasonable substance, it will qualify for 0.5 AP (and 0.5 matched bonus AP), in the same way that player interviews were eligible during the tournament. This is a chance to get a small reward for exploring your character in a way that these types of projects allow. Obviously, roleplay with others will remain the best way to get AP! If you don't find that this AP has been granted automatically within 2 days of posting, contact me (Pringer X) by @mail or on Discord. The second applies to all players. This AP can be earned up to four times over the course of the season and will be rewarded for completing a stage based in the current region of reasonable quality (this is subjective, but what matters most is effort). The first region is America, and stages are especially sought for Sunshine City, Metro City, and any hometowns of NFG fighters. Keep in mind that Fighting Vipers and Double Dragon are based in Sunshine City if you're looking for inspiration. Each stage is worth 0.25 AP and qualifying stages will likely be used in NFG matches! The next round will begin on Monday, June 12th.
