Description: Hokutomaru celebrates the spirit of Ninja warfare! It's hard to imagine Elias as a villain - but Hokutomaru has his sights set on him! Despite all this, Elias is promising both food and autographs -well, from Hokutomaru to kids! Hokutomaru follows the call of war, but are his sights set right!?
Metro is truely a vast city. Where there is a large commotion going on at a casino more near downtown in the slums it is relatively quiet. It is a bad neighborhood overall, but the crime rate has been taking a plummet since the Sunshine City homeless shelter was set up by one Elias Patrick. Criminals learn quick that despite the age of the priest and his given profession that he does not handle demads well at all. Especially when it comes to people under his care coming to harm.
Yes he is stern and strick, but he is a generous man that has helped people as best he can given his position in life. Right now he is getting over one of those speedbumps that was caused when he found two supposed helpers recruiting people for some sort of organization. Those two were handled rather quickly and Haggar has since been informed. It has made Elias keep an even closer eye on the activities going on around the shelter these days.
Right now he and a few assorted people are gathered around a television listening about the late breaking news of someone going berzerk in the casino and the cops having trouble getting the man under control. The priest himself is considering about lending a hand, but given he has no real assistants it is hard for him to leave someone in charge at the moment. Instead he stares at the screen and ponders what he should do as the people gathered around talk about what is happening.
It couldn't be! Could it? It is! It was! It's... Mai turning off the tv!?
The boy ninja, who was kicking back, had seen the call to arms! NEVER SURRENDER! As clear as day! With his secret ninja powers, he stowed away into a plane and came out half frozen - but it's okay. He managed to pick up an item on the way. A very special item, filled with ninja power!
It's currently sitting happily on his head.
But as Hokutomaru makes it to the city, there is some serious stuff going on! Where does he even start!? And Hokutomaru... starts with the first building he sees! It's brilliant, and the building seems unassuming. Homeless shelter! A shelter for /pure evil/.
Bursting in, Hokutomaru swings his stick around, the cape/scarf flowing behind him.
"AHA!" A pause, Hokutomaru looks around, scratching his head. "I was su-AHA!" His eyes squint, his gaze focused upon ... PURE EVIL. That priest! "Whatever he has planned, you're not going to stop it so easily! I know you'd like to though!" Vague, because even Hokutomaru doesn't know what's up. But he /does/ know. He just doesn't.
The stick is twirled and pointed, the miniature ninja grinning wide. "So come on, get out of here so no one else gtes hurt while I beat you up to stop you!" He's oddly forwards about it, too.
As if watching the tense situation on the television wasn't enough there is soon the sound of the front door being burst through by a rather small boy. The commotion is enough to startle some of the youths as well as the women at first. Then the former get a good look at Hokutomaru and there are words whispered like 'He's a ninja!' or 'I want to be like that when I am older!'. The older men are more confused by it all and muttering about damn kids and their lack of respect more than anything.
And Elias? Well there is no shift in emotion as far as his facial features go. The large priest turns about to regard the youth while keeping his hnds clasped behind his back. He does not believe this to be someone that belongs to the strange gentleman that tried to sabotage this place. Could he perhaps be a soul misguided by the same man?
He steps forward and makes no movements that would seem hostile and even remains a short distance away. "How can I help you, my child?" he asks in a rather even and firm tone. The people don't seem scared of him, but damn there is just something unnerving about Elias when you meet him at first and do not know this is just how he normally is. "We are having dinner in an hour if you care to join us? We are having our Christmas party tonight."
As the priest walks forwards, Hokutomaru stares - he doesn't stand down or anything! He's not even fighting back! Did... did he already give up!? Hokutomaru grins. "Well if you give up, I could, but you'll still have to be beaten up because you're going to get in the way!" The boy happily grins, rubbing his head.
"You might even try to poison me with your food or something!" He admits, tilting his head a bit, the stick still held up.
Sliding out three different bladed projectiles, Hokutomaru holds them up. But it's not right! He didn't respond to how he can be helped! Or wait, he did, didn't he?
"You can come outside, too, so they don't see what's going to happen! I'd feel kind of bad letting you stay near these people and hurting them!" Of course, he means the PRIEST hurting them! Because that man ... is just bad! He can feel it! He is, after all, a brilliant ninja! Never wrong!
There are several people sort of gathering around and whispering among one another. There really isn't usually this much of a ruckus happening these days. All it took was one or two groups of thugs trying to play tough for Elias to establish a reputation of someone that they do not want to mess with. It is quite impressive to be able to do that given where he even decided to set up the shelter. It certainly made no sense to set up this kind of place in a more fancy area, though.
'Now wait a moment. Father Patrick isn't try-' One of the older men tries to finish his sentence by the priest unclasps his hands and holds one out to rest on the man's chest. "I do not believe he would listen. He probably would think I brainwashed you." He probably isn't too far off from the truth. He sometimes can get a decent read on people, but someone like Hokutomaru isn't always the easiest. He is someone that thrives on being spontaneous from the looks of it given the way he bursted into the place and threatened to attack the priest of all people.
"Step back." He tells everyone and some of the kids seem to be in awe. Father Patrick is going to battle a ninja!? It is like one of their favorite shows coming to life! "If you wish to assault me I may entertain your game, but please stay afterwards for some food." he offers while casually shifting his stance to where his feet are slightly further apart than normal, though he hasn't raised his hands as if ready to attack just yet.

The small boy glances at the man, waiting to see exactly what he'll do - and in the end. Hokutomaru stands tall, nodding as Elias claims such a thing. He grins, nodding once more to make certain of it. He's sure of it! Brainwashed! Of course! He didn't even think of it before hand! Now? He is /certain/.
As Elias tells all to step back, Hokutomaru doesn't move a muscle - and he's going to assault a ninja! It's true! But Elias, casually, offers food afterwards. The boy perks up, eyes wide.
"You'll give me food for beating you!? Wow!" The kid's grin only grows larger as he hefts his stick into the air, swinging it slowly around once. "This is the greatest ninja war!" He exclaims, loudly, "And I, Hokutomaru, am going to be the very best! You'll have to be careful!" He admits, tipping his little helm he picked up.
The stick is tapped to the ground, Hokutomaru standing straight up, instead of a somewhat forwards lean, "Okay! Here I go then!"
He doesn't seem to move for a couple seconds more... up until he explodes into a cloud of smoke. Shortly after, the ninja boy poofs into existance behind Elias, stick swung heavily towards his back in a sweeping blow. He warned him, after all!

There is no real response on if he would be beaten or not. It seems rather rude for Elias to assume such a thing. Then again it is hard to tell if he is joking or telling a lie in this case. The glasses hide any emotion in his eyes and his face never really cortorts to show any emotion either. Instead he just stands and waits to see what the young man has to offer. If anything, the ninja has great speed. Even someone with a keen eye like Elias has a hard time keeping track of where the monkeyboy is moving.
He doesn't even seem to be in the process of turning around when Hokotumaru slams into the back of the priest at full strength. Muscles tense and there isn't even a grunt that comes from Elias as he takes the blow. Instead he just simply turns around and offers a nod. "Interesting. I was starting to worry you were part of the riff-raff causing trouble at the casino, but I suppose I was wrong."
The priest then clenches both hands in a fist as he steps forward. Instead of a simple straight punch with either hand he falls forward to rest on a knee and he then thrusts both fists forward to aim for the youth's midsection with quite a powerful blow.

The strikes slams into the back of the priest, - muscles of the man tensing. It's like hitting a /rock/. Hokutomaru blinks, staring at it for a moment, held from the power of his strike, as Elias turns around, offering him a nod for the strike. A /nod/! Out of everything!
"W-wow!" Tap tap. Hokutomaru lands on the ground, two taps as he lands foot by foot infront of Elias. "You sure know how to take those strikes and shrug them off!" Hokutomaru so admits, actually quite happy that the man can! "And no way, I'm not one of those ... you are! The lead ninja totally meant something... that uh .... I can't tell you!" Not that he could, anyways.
But as he's taken off guard, Hokutomaru isn't ready for the blow - both hands in a fist. The simple straight punch is blocked by an arm - and then the double fist thrust, by the stick. The power behind it .. well Hokutomaru still hits the wall. Thud. Shaking himself off as he staggers to his feet, he looks down. Tink. The .. crown!
"Hahah, you've got a good punch too!" The grin is wide - as he reaches down, picking up the crown, placing it back on his head, around his black hair. "But I've got something myself! So don't you worry!"

A lead ninja? So this boy was mislead it seems, but but not by the man he initially assumed it was. Instead it seems like it might be someone involved with perhaps what is going on downtown at the moment with the casino. Then again from the reports that man doesn't soud like a ninja at all. "I am a priest, child. I must handle any sort of suffering as best I can." he replies when Hokutomaru seems to be impressed with how he took that blow.
He does have to wonder what the significance of the crown might be. Does the ninja fancy himself a mighty king of some sort? It is good to see youth that have vivid imaginations such as this one. It might get them in trouble, but in the end it helps strengthen them once and if they become adults. "I hope you are having fun. Don't mind me if I am shaking off some rust." he tells the much younger fighter.
He maintains a steady pace and isn't even running to close what distance there is between him and Hokutomaru. He is also keeping things somewhat simple for now at least. He steps forward again and this time comes a straight right hand aimed to slam right into the forehead of the newly crowned monkyboy.

As the man comes towards him, Hokutomaru feels he's perfectly fine. He's where he needs to be - /and/ he's got his trusty new crown to help him as well! Stamping forwards, a straight right hand comes from the man - but Hokutomaru ducks, grabbing the crown as he goes under. He grins as he crouches, one hand on the stick, the other holding it against his head.
"Nice try! ... On both! Priests aren't found near these places, they're found in other places!" The boy simply explains, clearly having quite a bit of experience. "Whatever a priest is... that's a high ranking anti-ninja isn't it!" He totally found you out, Elias.
"But it is pretty fun! I'll become the best, like I said. That takes some work!"
Done with his words, Hokutomaru shoots towards the man, the stick pressing against the man like a missile as he charges it towards the midsection of the man, before spinning it around like some sort of wooden fan, the boy almost like a drill of wood and chi as he shoots upwards!
"You're not going to fool me!"

Such an odd child to not know what a priest even is. Maybe he is from some sheltered life that only taught him the way of his fighting? It would be a rare occurance that doesn't really happen these days as far as he knows. Alot of the adults seem to be as flabbergasted by Hokutomaru's actions and what he is saying. The younger crowd is instead more interested by the cool kid and all his neat stuff. Some look rather jealous of the crown in fact. They never get cool stuff like that.
And while the priest's attacks had seemed straight forward from the start it would look like he might just be able to fool the ninja. It starts when he brings his fist upwards as if ready to deliver an uppercut, though it is easily off the mark from even being close from hitting Hokutomaru. Instead it is more a ruse for the gathering of energy that forms under the ninja when he lands that first strike against Elias. Fire erupts from the ground and people let out some sounds of awe as Hokutomaru is thrown upwards and away by the blast and though the flame is hot like normal fire, it does not seem to catch anything ablaze that it touched before it dies down. "I wish you luck in that, little one."
It wasn't exactly what Hokutomaru planned - it certainly wasn't even close to it! Shooting out towards Elias was supposed to be his amazing, unstoppable, ninja strike! A crushing blow that left nowhere to run! And yet, the man ran /right/ in! Well, an eruption of /energy/ shoots right towards him. Hokutomaru is thrown away, upwards, and launched backwards from the man - the fire is /hot hot hot/!
"Whaaaaaa-ghhhhHH!"
Hokutomaru goes spiralling back, slamming into the building - even leaving a little outline, however slightly there. "Hehe.... You're not too bad yourself. So you can do some pretty cool stuff, huh?" The grinning ninja spins the stick around, however wounded, as he pushed off, shaking himself to get himself back into the fight.
"But you're not going to just get the better of me like that!"
Despite the situation, and despite the obvious disadvantage, Hokutomaru swings wide, slamming the stick to the ground before he flips forwards, a foot heading straight for the man's midsection, the monkey ninja falling towards the man!

"I have picked up a few tricks." Elias replies while giving a nod. Even if it is hard to tell, people that know the priest well enough can tell he is actually amused. He may not be going all out right now, but he seems interested in testing the limits of this ninja. "So tell me. I am sure it won't happen, but will you sit and explain what happened to make you come here if I somehow manage to defeat you?" He figures it is an innocent enough question to ask at least.
Of course he might also not be giving Hokutomaru much time ot think on it. He may not have the speed of the ninja, but he seems to be reading his movements well enough that he manages to take a step back and move out of the way of the incoming foot. The priest attempts to grasp the back of the ninja's top at the same time to idly pick up and toss him back towards the wall if he can manage to get a good enough grip on the rather slippery ninja. "Consider it you humoring an old man such as myself."

"Tell you? Huh?" The ninja tilts his head, landing a bit too early as Elias steps out of the way. "Oh, sure! You see there was that message, and the leaf ninja made it clear SOMETHING was happening, and this is the first place I looked!" He states it as a matter of fact. "And you look like someone that's plain evil!"
Or so it seems. Right before Elias tries to grab Hokutomaru's top - at which point the ninja is grabbed - and then POOF! Into a cloud he goes, re-appearing before him! At which point an eruption of wind and fire about the boy, albeit very small, accompanies Hokutomaru straight into Elias' chest, right between the shawl!
"After all your fighting style has fire in it!" He claims, bounding off, landing before the man again. "That makes it certain!" His head bobs twice as he flips backwards for good measure.
That fist of Elias feels like has a firm grasp and almost instantly he is grappling nothing now. It is a good enough distraction that it allows Hokutomaru to get a drop on Elias and slam into the larger fighter's midsection and send him staggering back a few steps. "A leaf ninja....I see." He doesn't quite know what to make of that explanation, but he is for sure settled on knowing this boy is no way related to the man that was trying to sabotage his shelter. "You must be careful with assumptions, though."
He stands back for a moment to regard the ninja and tries to think of a way to perhaps come to an understanding. He has dealt with hyperactive children before, but none that were actually trained to fight like this one. "Be more careful next time when you decide to do something like this." He tells Hokutomaru as he steps forward and he brings up a large foot and thrusts his leg forward, aiming to slam into his midsection quite firmly. "Next time you might truely find someone that is evil and things may not go so well."

It's no surprise that it makes little sense! Hokutomaru isn't exactly a genius - but his heart is, mostly, in the right place. If only his brain could follow, somehow. The ninja watches as the man staggers back, still waiting!
"Ehhhh? But there's no way I can be wrong! I've come out here and I found you!" Be careful next time - !? "And you're even threatening me!" But then he stops. Processing slowly... sloooooowly.
Until the man thrusts his heavy foot towards him, the impact sure to send the littlest ninja /flying/. His thinking stops! His instincts kick in! And then he barely rolls out of the way.
"I'm sure you're just trying to mess with my head!" The ninja claims, kneeing infront of Elias. "Because if you weren't and you are telling the truth... nope! I won't be fooled!" He states, grinning. "But if you /are/ right, anyways, I can't pass up a good fight!" And then, he kicks off!
A dash towards the man's leg, attempting to shoot past the one leg that isn't up and yank it out from under him with the stick, pulling as he goes along!

The ninja is quick, but Elias seems to have his wits about him enough to get his other foot planted down in time to keep from losing his balance fully. Instead the tug brings the priest down to a knee momentarily before he can fully regain his balance and straighten up. "Well if you love a good fight I suppose I will humor you a bit longer." he tells the ninja as he leans forward enough to lightly brush the dirt from his pantleg and once again straightens back up. "Let us not linger too long. The turkey for dinner will get overdone.
He then reconsiders and realizes he was getting through to the kid it would seem before he did attack again. Instead he clasps his hands behind his back and remains where he is. "In fact if you wish to attack go ahead. If there was a way for me to prove that I am not the villian you think I am I would do so, but at the moment I am at a bit of a loss. What can I do to show you proof, child?" he asks and he keeps his gaze focused on Hokutomaru right now. He seems to be keeping his word about not striking for the moment at least, but he doesn't seem to be throwing in the towel either.

The man takes the blow, only tugged down as Hokutomaru circles around! He comes to a stop looking towards the man, eyes focused on him incase he tries anything sneaky - and yet, what does the man do!? He ...stands there and doesn't do anything! He, certainly, is a tricky one. "I know exactly what you're doing!" The boy exclaims, grin still wide.
"And I'm not going to fall for it - but I will have some of that food later!" Hunger is something that he can completely agree on, even if it's certainly not on his current list of things to care about! It's hunger, and you have to feed it! He has a few apples on him, anyways, incase of emergencies.
"I already said it... I won't listen, so you're going down." The man, as smart as he seems, really doesn't get it. He simply states the fact he's going down! As if it was second nature. "So prepare to uh... go down!" And to make this claim a reality, Hokutomaru kicks off the ground, leaping towards Elias to grapple him - and then roll with him, before throwing him from the rolling monkey ball!
If only he could get through to this evil man ... he doesn't have a choice! He totally know you're evil Elias! Hokutomaru is not one to be fooled!

There is only a slight nod from Elias even as some of the people gathered around tell him that it doesn't seem like the kid is going to listen at all. "I see. I guess it cannot be helped, then." he replies and even so he keeps his ground. He lets the ninja come to him to go for that grasp. Then there is an actual quick movement from the priest himself. His hands quickly unclasp and before the ninja may even realize it there is a meaty fist coming downwards to plow right on top of his noggin at full force. "I was hoping there was a better way to do this, but I suppose not."
Maybe knocking the ninja down a peg will finally get him to listen. Elias can only hope. He was rather interested to see what news was unfolding about the casino squabble afterall. Any idea of going to help has been stalled quite a bit. 'Father Elias! Don't knock him out! We want his autograph afterwards!' 'And I want to find out where he got that crown!' a few of the younger people watching shout out. "There, there. I am sure you can have time to talk to him once we are both done exchanging pleasantries." he tells them both.
Dash - and - get beaten over the head!? Hokutomaru's dash seems to go poorly, Elias grasping him before plowing straight into Hokutomaru's face with a rather laaaarge fist! Hokutomaru's sent reeling back, staggering more than a little as he struggles to stay on his feet. He manages, but just barely! And if Elias was hoping that Hokutomaru would be more pliable when kneaded ....
"Hah, you got more fight in you than I thought! But I'm just getting started!" Or so the ninja kid claims. Despite the obvious wound he took - despite the slower motions! He's still /totally okay/! At least he thinks so, in his head. But that got struck recently.
The boy ninja once again takes off towards Elias, taking a certain.. bet. He runs towards Elias and then....
Stops!
!? POOF. Hokutomaru vanishes ... and then... POOF! Hokutomaru manages to leap towards Elias' face, scratching and clawing as he lands on it! "Gotcha! Hahaha!" Scratching, he'd kick off, trying to knock the man down after wards!

Only rarely does that honestly do any good. More often than not Elias has come to find the only thing a good knock to the head often does is make a person see double and perhaps attack the copy that isn't real. In this case he isn't quite sure it did much of anything since the ninja is acting much like how he has been this entire fight. There is actually a soft chortle from the priest which is about the closest anyone can usually get from a chuckle out of him. It certainly seems he is amused.
That remains to be seen how amused he is once the ninja is jumping at his face in an attempt to claw all about it. Somehow those glasses remain on despite the attack, but it seems the ninja fails to get Elias off his feet once again. Instead he is met with the priest stepping forward as he pushes the ninja off of him before taking a swing with one large fist aimed soley to slam into the ninja's chest full force.

The strike is powerful, and Hokutomaru is prepared - or at least, as prepared as he was going to be! Clawing for the man - he manages to take it all without much trouble! It's ... not like Hokutomaru is used to seeing such things. Anything but! "Hah----huh?" Is this guy made out of rocks or steel!?
That's be cool, actually, now that he thinks about it! An iron villain, that he must warn the leaf ninja about... if he doesn't beat him himself, that is! This is about the time that Elias pushes him off, a massive swing following the pull towards his chest. Ahhhhhh nuts! Hokutomaru poofs - but the man slams his hand into the cloud!
Hokutomaru shoots out of it like a rocket, stick pressed against his body as he rebounds, heavily, against the wall. "Pretty fast too!" He's seen better day!
But he refuses to give in, picking out three shurikens. "I won't fail him though! I know I can do it!" And what follows - three of them thrown towards the man, one. By. One!

He certainly isn't pliable at all. That body is solid and while he might not be as large as the likes of Haggar he certainly seems to have similar resilence. "Not fast. I am just thinking ahead." he states as people start to scatter when the ninja produces the shuriken. They know the ninja isn't aiming for them, but they still rather play it safe and not be hit by some stray flying star. The priest's brow knits slightly when those items are produced as well and he shifts his stance while seeming to time between each throw.
And that is when he bobs and weaves almost like a boxer as he manages to lean at just the right moments to avoid being struck by any of those stars. "Do be careful. I would not be happy if you hit someone else with those. There are innocents in here." The tone has shifted into a more stern one, there. He doesnt' seem to be happy at all about that latest attack. He also stays back for the moment and let the ninja think about what he did and how it is wrong. Instead he seems intent on formulating a plan of attack to finally take down Hokutomaru before the turkey gets burned.

Elias manages to bob and weave between the blades - so that are just plain out of it! He won't be able to rely on those anymore, that's for sure! So he'll have to try another way of doing things! "Hey, hey! I know exactly how to use them!" The boy exclaims, his word against the priests. "I'm sure there are innocents!" That have been BRAINWASHED!
How cruel of that man!
But the man doesn't move, intending to take down Hokutomaru - but Hokutomaru is getting desperate! The boy breathing heavily, his body worn - and Elias just seems to get better! What's up with that? "I guess I'll have to take you down in one go!" The boy declares, pressing his hands together.
And maybe he can make Elias the turkey, TOO!
POOFing once more, the cloud of smoke spreads out, instead of staying in one place... and just then!
Hokutomaru ends up right beside Elias, grasping a scroll, spinning upwards! Two snakes of fire follow him around, whirlwinding upwards. It's like how Mai, and the ninjas, taught him! The look on his face, dead serious! Like the burn he might be getting from the ninja magic!
FWOOOSH!

Hopefully Hokutomaru isn't planning on getting those shurikens back anytime soon. It seems like some of the people watching scrambled over to pick up the items. Possibly to make sure the kids don't pick something that dangerous up or perhaps as something they can sell for meager amounts of cash. Of course if asked to give them back later Elias will probably make them do so. He isn't for stealing even if the person being stolen from is rather confused.
Then there is a moment where Elias loses track of the ninja once again. His head twists back and forth to try to catch sight, but he is a bit slow in this case as he soon feels the heat of fire that engulfs him and causes some of the homeless people gathered to look worried as even a woman screams from the sight of the priest going up in flames. Those flame soon die down, but there stands Elias with his vestments looking scorched from the attack and well as his skin looking reddened by the fire that engulfed him. "Everyone please stay back. It appears our guest is going a bit too far."
The ninja has at least kept the attacks focused on Elias, but he can't afford to let one go wild and perhaps hurt one of the onlookers. That is why he quickly dashes forward, a hand outstretched as it bursts into a flame like he summoned earlier. His intent is to slam the open palm hard against Hokutomaru then lift him upwards by his top. That fire once again doesn't burn, but boy is it making the ninja feel drowsy if he gets touched by it. Like he is in bad need of a nap or alot of caffiene.

That grip is maintained for a few long moments, but the effects still seem to linger even as the ninja is tossed aside harmlessly away from everyone else. All there is now is that very strong urge to take a nice long nap. "I am sorry to have to do this to you child, but you need to calm yourself now." the priest tells him. He hopes it to be enough in the long run. Even now Elias is starting to feel a bit of fatigue from all of this fighting too.
The ninja boy lands, spiralling about - the flames vanishing afterwards. "Hah! Got him!" The boy claims, grinning. He crosses his arms - just as Elias stands there. He just stands, burning. Then speaks. Hokutomaru has ample time to turn around, but it's not /enough/. The boy twists around, confused! He stood up to it!?
But there's nothing else to do but /jump for it/. With the strike from Elias, Hokutomaru shoots back - but the open palm smacks against him. The strike is /hard/. "GhhhhCK!" He gets out in protest. The fire, however, burns away happily. Like the boy was kindling - and Hokutomaru didn't manage to clear it in time. He's held in place. It continues to linger.
Burning up, it's like sleeping due to the cold. Bad. "You ... didn't get me yet...." He protests, pulling the stick back upwards, weakly, raising it. He uses it, then, to raise himself. Barely able to stand. "It's not ... going to keep me down!" He coughs.
"Kuuu... Haa... DAAAAAAAAN!"
With all his strength, the stick is swung upwards, a slow, telltale strike! But it's all he's got. Already, the flames begin to get to him.

It is a powerful and effective technique. One is gratefule to learn since it allows him to down an opponent without serious injury which is perfect in a case like this. It does seem like the ninja has more fight in him than Elias had expected, though. The fact Hokutomaru manages to get the energy to even amount and sort of offense might throw quite a few people off guard. It seems in this case Elias is not one of those people. Instead he just steps away and keeps his distrace from the ninja.
"I am done fighting you, child. We must prepare our dinner and I am not sure you will be awake for much longer." he comments and lets his hands clasp behind his back again. "Prepare some blankets for him." he tells some of those gathered near and they scurry off to do so while the priest keeps himself ready in case Hokutomaru has plans to continue trying to attack even as his body is probably pleading for him to relax at this point. "I will be sure to save some dinner for you when you awaken."

"Gh... I ... I'm not done.. fighting you!" Hokutomaru claims in response, the stick thrown forwards failing to strike the man who ... steps away. Hands clasp behind Elias as he walks away. Hokutomaru's vision is fading - but there's something he still has. "I ... won't.. just give...."
The boy staggers forwards - and in a fit of very bad choices with a non-clear mind, brings out more ... shuriken. More of them, actually. Quite a lot more of them. "You're not going .. to just walk .. away! I'm going to pin you to the wall! Then when I awaken you'll...!" Words are getting harder to form, sentences harder to string to be coherent.
But through training, shuriken still fly true. Small ones are thrown easily, almost flicked - and then finally, after something like twelve trying to pin him to a wall - a shuriken /the size of Hokutomaru/ is spun around like a hammer throw - Hokutomaru collapsed onto his front from the spin, almost comically.
The little crown tinks as it falls from his head, oddly rolling towards Elias' feet, even if he has to move.
It seems it has chosen one less monkey-ish! One able to best the clear future ninja king!

Hokutomaru drops Monkey Crown.
Once again things are thrown and the usual scowl just seems to somehow grow larger. People scatter again, but thankfully despite being tired it looks like Hokutomaru's aim is still pretty good despite the groggy feeling that is coming over him. The first few he manages to avoid, but then afew manage to hit him and pin his vestments to the wall he was standing near. That leaves him with little to be able to do other than to try to stop that large one that is thrown right at him. He raises up a hand and a flame starts to build in front of it, but in the end the Priest may have spent too much energy as well.
That shuriken slams into his hand and blows into the priest's chest which elicits a pained grunt from the larger fighter.
He at least managed to stop it from sinking in far from the looks of it as he manages to dislodge the item and let it fall to the ground as people rush to him to pick out the other stars that are pinning his vestments to the wall as others bring bandages. Other people are heading for the downed ninja and letting him come to rest on the ground on some soft blankets. "Yes, I will be fine." he assures those checking on him.
He then picks up the crown resting at his feet and he looks at it before moving over to set it on a table for now. He must tend to the wounds of both he and Hokutomaru.
Once the ninja awakens he will find himself in a bed at a decent hotel not far from the shelter. Next to the bed will be some food from the Christmas dinner that was talked about as well as a note left by Elias inviting the ninja back once he has recovered to get his crown back and to have a chat instead of fight this time arond.
