Description: On Wikipedia, the events of this match will be cited as a reason to officially change Kain's name to "Unobtainium Heinlein." (Winner: Kain)
Wrestling, really? It is not exactly Kain R. Heinlein's area of interest. Possibly someone is making fun of Kain for his return to SNF after being absent for quite some time. But Kain doesn't intend to back down from a little challenge like this. He stands in the ring of SlamMasters arena, arms crossed as he waits. He has not, however, gone so far as to change his outfit. His suit looks rather out of place in this situation, but that hardly bothers him.
Somebody actually suggested a mask for him. Said mask is currently sitting in a pile of ashes back in the dressing room. There's a mix of cheers and jeers from the audience, especially since the crowd here is particularly interested in wrestling. Kain looks out into the audience with a steady gaze, not seeming to react to any of the calls.
Wrestling, really? It is something of a surprise to Tizoc, that his sport ought to be featured so. But he's the only 'true' wrestler in the match... that is to say, he's the only one who makes a living of it. That doesn't matter, though. One earlier look at Marco and he can tell that the wrestler's spirit burns within his bones. And he's a fellow Mexican as well! There sure seem to be a lot of them around, a heartening thing for The Griffon Mask.
Unlike Kain, Tizoc is announced in the ring. First, the lights dim--and then the crazily-flashing colored lights.... and then the music and video--images of Tizoc performing his signature attacks, the Justice Hurricane, the Gri-Hug, and the like... set to a heavy metal riff of El Condor Pasa. And the announcer. "Hailing from Mexico! The feared, loved, and respected, the Hurricane of Justice, Tizoc! THE GRIFFON MAAAAAAAAAAAASK!!!!!!!!"
It is to that that Tizoc walks out, strutting in a stately manner, a crimson cape wrapped about his shoulders, flowing down his back, matching the features of his bird mask, its steely-eyed gaze fixed upon Kain R. Heinlein as he ascends to the ring... and leaps the turnbuckle to enter, spinning, tossing the cape out into the audience, pointing the index finger of his right hand up in a victorious, heroic pose. "YES! I, Tizoc, The Griffon Mask, hereby challenge you!!"
They stole the sign. They stole the SIGN. This cannot stand.
Marco 'Kushnood Butt' Rodriguez had been enjoying some quiet time away from the fighting circuits, teaching the day-to-day students of the Kyokugen Dojo while Takuma-sensei did... whatever he does and while Ryo and Robert wander around having homoerotic adventures pretending to be the guys from Miami Vice or something. But then Takuma suddenly took an interest in day to day affairs and took on a new student, then the new student pissed off some Korean psycho, and now they have stolen the sign. They have stolen the SIGN.
This insult to Kyokugen cannot stand, and so Marco tightened his gi belt, fluffed out his amazingly manly pompadour, and signed the hell up for SNF to school some people in what 'extreme limits karate' REALLY MEANS.
He is the last to enter the ring, walking out of the locker room entrance and basically LEAPING! into the ring like the [eff!]ing Hulk, slamming onto the mat and, fists clenched, drawing back his elbows and giving a mighty battle roar, and because it's Marco, that roar is "KYO-KU-GENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-RYUUUUUUUUUUUUU! YES!"
He then turns to his right to greet his teammate, and catches sight of big, muscular, shirtless, bird-headed Tizoc. "You must be delicious!" he says, and the entire arena -- THE ENTIRE ARENA -- goes silent. Marco, for his part, adopts a brief expression of ._.
You can SEE the Bloomberg scroll on the back of his eyes. 'did i just say that damn! i did cover cover cover cover'
"I mean, my partner! Nice to meet you!"
Yes! Go Marco!
Then he turns to espy Kain, giving him a looking over, and looks perfectly shocked. There's also the problem that he basically signs his death warrant with the statement that follows. His voice full of genuine concern, he holds out a hand. "Ma'am! You appear to have wandered into the ring by accident! Let me escort you back to your seat while our opponent makes his way here!"
Kain smiles grimly at Tizoc's challenge, and then Marco's... misunderstanding. He glances off to the side of the ring, staring at the people there until someone hurries to ring the bell. Then Kain begins silently striding toward Marco and Tizoc. So, wrestling. He's supposed to rely mostly on wrestling techniques, yes? Hopefully picking someone up and then slamming them into the mat is enough to qualify.
Heinlein reaches out toward Marco with one hand as he approaches. It's hard to tell exactly what he's planning at first, but then his hand moves more rapidly, shooting for the Kyokugen trainer's neck in an attempt to lift him off the ground. Accompanied by black fire springing from Kain's hand to engulf Marco's head. "You'll have to excuse me. I'm a bit of a beginner at this." And then he hurls Marco into the mat.

"D--Delicious?!? I am the Griffon Mask! Not a poultry!" But he doesn't seem -insulted-, just correcting Marco's mistake. And in any case, there's just no time to waste, as Kain gets the festivities going with sheer force of presence... and a healthy dose of some really evil-looking black flame.
Tizoc doesn't protest that he'll 'save' his partner, because that's not possible, and anyways, as a fighter, Marco must be trusted to save himself. But instead, Tizoc backs away, with a leap--running away?!? No... not running away. Tizoc is preparing. He gets that distance... then he leaps into the air, flipping end over end in a tight tumble. His aim?
That would be to land on Kain's shoulders, trapping the blonde's head between massive knees, and then backflipping, whipping Kain around to slam him into the mat as Tizoc poses. Of course, Tizoc has heard of Kain H. Heinlein, a man of unsurpassed danger and skill and power. It is truly crazy, one might say suicidal, to throw one's self into the jaws of the lion this way. But it's the only way Tizoc knows... or cares to try.

It's Kain's first time. Be gentle? Marco seems confused by this, even as Kain is moving toward him. "Excuse m--"
OH GOD FIRE.
It's a totally undignified, about-to-scramble-out-of-the-way sort of maneuver, but once Marco processes that Kain is trying to roast/chokehold him into oblivion, he really just attempts to turn and get the hell out of the way. Thankfully Kain's hand ends up around his neck, saving him from the further embarassment of saying what he's thinking aloud, which is 'NO ROASTING IS FOR CHICKEN MAN NOT FOR MARCO.' Rather more unfortunately than that, however, is that it's Kain [eff!]ing Heinlein and even without the chokeslam, which has its own set of complications, that black fire tears across Marco's body like an invading army, the heat and pain making his head spin once he gets up.
But oh, he does get up. That stung, but it ain't no wrecking ball.
Pointing, he rounds on Kain. Now that it's clear he's not a blonde cosplay girl, all bets are off. "PREPARE TO FACE THE MIGHT OF KYOKUGEN! YAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
He then charges forward, a total bull in a china shop, attempting to sweep Kain's legs out from under him before shouting "CHEST!" and dropping down, slamming a fist into Heinlein's torso from above should the sweep work. An O Soto Gari... one of Takuma's favorite moves and a martial arts staple.

Again, Kain isn't used to wrestling. And people doing stuff like catching his head between their knees and flipping him around. So Tizoc's plan actually works pretty well. Kain gets whipped off the ground, then slammed back down into the mat, giving Tizoc some time to pose for the audience. But Kain is getting back to his feet pretty quickly...
Of course, there's still Marco. However, Kain manages to get to a steady standing position before Marco can lash out with his sweep, and when Marco's leg hits Kain, Kain shifts his balance to push his weight into the kick, and Marco's leg is just stopped dead. It looks bad for Marco, but Kain owes Tizoc one now. He can't go and let himself be shown up! Heinlein stalks toward Tizoc and lashes out with a palm strike toward the wrestler's chest, his hand flashing with blue light at the point of impact. Hey, it's sort of like a move from sumo. Which is a kind of wrestling!

"HRAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Tizoc has about as much agility as a rock. Sure, he can put on bursts of speed when he needs to, but generally speaking, it's harder to miss him than to miss, say, Murphy Brown, or maybe Dora the Explorer. Kain's palm strike lands true, but it's really the blue light special that gets him. The Griffon Mask crumples, gasping, his entire body screaming in pain. He even drops to a knee.
But then he rises again, summoning up that heroic courage, and he -grabs- for Kain, those big, meaty hands seeking purchase on the man's shoulders. It's something of a longshot, but if he -does- manages to grab the man, then Tizoc will show a move that makes him feared amongst other pro wrestlers, a finisher as flashy and powerful as they come--pushing off with powerful legs, aiming to slam Kain into the ceiling of the arena--and then fall with him into a tornado piledriver, to slam him into the mat like a hundred pounds of beef slamming onto the butcher's table at the local greengrocer's.
The famous voice is roughened with pain as he boldly announces his intentions with a shouted, "BIIIIG!--" The rest, the 'FALL!', will only come if he drops Kain onto the mat, of course.
Hmm. In the wrestling business they call that a 'no-sell,' what Kain did to Marco right there. At least Tizoc is making better proOH MY GOD CHICKEN ON FIRE. That punch really seems to hit the Griffon Mask particularly hard, and Marco does give a brother a sympathy wince. But the man gets back up, and that is something Marco can respect. In fact, he nods his approval, stating boldly, "Your strange headdress might wake my hunger for poultry, but your tenacity is to be respected, my friend!" And this is Marco, who knows how to Project From The Diaphragm. People in Paramus, NJ are wondering if he's right outside their living room window.
However, there is a battle to be fought! The Griffon Mask decides to really lay it all on the table right at the get go, and Marco doesn't want to get in the middle of that... but when the wrestler and the blond fire-using man (it burns!) separate, Marco is RIGHT THERE, waiting. With a shout of "ZANRETSU KEN!" he does his best to just lay into Kain before he can get away, the Brasilian's extended fist a literal blur as Marco does his best, slow, power-focused interpretation of a classic Kyokugen maneuver.

With Tizoc reaching for his shoulders, Kain ducks down low and steps back, keeping himself out of reach of the wrestler's grasp. Kain may be tougher than he looks, but that doesn't mean he wants to get manhandled by someone who knows what they're doing. Getting slammed around is still far from pleasant.
And as Kain starts to stand back up straight, he has to deal with Marco's fist. The Kyokugen fighter's hand is a blur as he launches attacks at Kain, but through a combination of speed and predicting where Marco is going to punch, Kain manages to weave through the assault and get past Marco. At which point he reaches for the back of the other man's head to hurl him down to the mat, with a small explosion of fire to help accelerate his descent.
The crowd is disappointed! Tizoc grabs nothing but air, his efforts expended uselessly. But his courage lives on--as does his intent to get his paws on Kain. Being a slow SOB, he can't reach Kain before Kain reaches Marco, but he'll get there eventually, seeking to wrap Kain up in a powerful Gri-Hug--for Tizoc does not hold with -bears-, unlike a certain Russian colleague of his.
The Gri-Hug is a simple manuever, an attempt to squeeze the life out of Kain, possibly cracking ribs on lesser mortals, followed by a release into the path of a thrusting heel kick. Simple, elegant, and as Mary found out a touch earlier during a Neo League fight, quite potent in its own right.
"Don't give up, amigo! He may be powerful but the power of -spirit- will see us through!!!" Or Kain will blow a hole in Tizoc and thus see through him.

Two things happen:
1.) Kain's fire-coated hand slams into the back of Marco's head.
2.) Marco absolutely, positively does not hit the mat.
There's a moment where the audience drinks in what just happened... and then Marco slowly turns around to face Kain, smiling... well, it's too pleasant a smile to be 'feral' or 'predatory' but it is very much 'friend you shouldn't have done that' rather than 'can I have your autograph.' He hears Tizoc speak about spirit, sees the Griffon mask move to attack his opponent, and at point blank range -- with a deafening shout -- Marco attempts to grab Kain by the lapels. "HA. I SHALL SHOW YOU THE GREAT SPIRIT OF..."
And if he can get the grip? Once onto the mat, without letting go. "KYO!" A second time. "KYU!" And then, finally, Marco just spins and attempts to shotput Kain right into the audience if need be. "GENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!"

If Kain stands still long enough for Tizoc to grab him, things could end up not being pretty. But Kain has no intention of doing that. Once again Kain slips away from Tizoc's grasp, despite having been somewhat surprised by Marco's stubborn refusal to have his face smashed into the mat. He remains fairly close to Marco, though, which ends up giving the Kyokugen practitioner a chance to grab him by the lapels.
Kain blinks as Marco starts pulling him forward by the coat. Then there's a blur of motion... and somehow, Marco finds himself slamming Kain's coat into the mat. Kain is standing a short distance away, with the tight black shirt he wears under the coat now fully exposed. He glances around, looking at the audience, then touches his forehead with the fingers of his right hand and sighs. Well, it really doesn't do to be seen as /too/ ominous. He's not really a people person, but being likable is good for fooling people. So... perhaps he'll play along. He laughs softly, then drops his arm. "Oh, very well. I suppose I should give the people what they're looking for, and get into the spirit of things."
That said, Kain suddenly runs at Tizoc, attempting to wrap an arm around his throat, before kicking out both legs in front of him to send them both dropping to the mat, while at the same time Kain drives his elbow down into Tizoc's chest. With a blast of blue chi, of course. This is probably very surprising to almost everyone here. But, of course, if you don't think that wrestling is a real fighting style worthy of study, you've never met Zangief. And if nothing else, Kain likes to be prepared for what his enemies may have up their sleeves.

Tizoc is grabbed, and hurled down, and Kain's elbow impacts with that blast of blu chi. It all happens, to be sure. But Tizoc... that last impact... with luck, Tizoc will not let Kain's arm go that easily. No, he'll seek to grab onto that arm, and -keep- hold as he gets to his feet, and use it to haul Kain up. And he'll keep that grip on Kain, and use it to hurl Kain into the ropes. It's a classci wrestling move, and one intended to bring Kain rebounding into Tizoc's grasp, to bring him into the grip of...
Justice. Or the Justice Hurricane, where Tizoc would grab Heinlein and launch he and his target up into a spinning, twirling piledriver right into the net. Tizoc's arsenal isn't very -large-, but it's pretty flashy.
He really ought to get in there and help Tizoc. He really should. Teamwork is the Kyokugen way. But frankly, Marco is feeling... well. He wouldn't go head to head with Takuma-sensei without a plan, right? And not just because Takuma is an unpredictable, sadistic taskmaster who demands the impossible from his students and punishes them for not breaking the laws of physics. It's because Takuma is really [eff!]ing strong. You don't just head right at the strong without a plan, dangit. He's got to make this work. He's got to think it through. He's got to...
To hell with it.
"HA! You are slippery, but you cannot evade the strikes of Kyokugen forever!" Marco bellows. "Now, my partner! I will make the most of your heroic sacrifice!" Did... Marco just imply that Tizoc is about to Hurricane himself to death? Possibly. But Marco is beyond words now, simply charging Kain and, ducking low, suddenly rises in a spiralling uppercut, leaping skyward, fist surrounded by a swirl of bright gold chi. "BRRRRRRRRRRREAK!"

And so, Kain finally falls into Tizoc's grasp. He's flung into the ropes and bounces back, letting Tizoc leap into the air with him, then bring him spinning back down to slam into the mat. After the impact Kain briefly falls flat, but he quickly leaps back to his feet. A good thing, since he needs to spin around and bring up an arm to block Marco's rising uppercut. The glowing fist is deflected off Kain's arm as Marco's leap fails to launch Heinlein. And that gives Kain an idea.
Kain twists his arm around, snapping out his hand for Marco's leg. Black flame spreads quickly from the point of contact, while at the same time Kain attempts to whip Marco around and slam him down into the mat.
Success, but Tizoc isn't getting all overly excited about it. There's a long road to victory and a small leap to defeat. The Man in the Griffon Mask has only a moment to think about what he's doing, lest Kain simply ravage Marco like a rhino and then come after him--working in concert with the Kyokugen is going to prove difficult, however, if only because there is no time to coordinate an assault properly. Kain's simply too powerful for the two men to take their time--they have to hit as hard and as fast as possible.
Unfortunately, it's difficult to combine the two, so Tizoc opts for the route he's taken already--hitting Kain as hard as possible, if not as -fast- as possible. But he doesn't grab for him this time--no, he drops to his hands and left leg, and he thrusts his right boot out, looking to kick Kain's feet out from under him with a mighty blow, to keep the man off-balance, or at least him moving around, to relieve some of the pressure off Marco.

Oh yeah? With the leg grabbing? Well then, goes Marco's logic, let's just see about that. Once he notices Kain making a move, the Brasilian suddenly lunges his torso forward, looking to grab Kain as the man in white (well, white pants now) goes low to get Marco's own leg. What actually happens is that, comically, Marco leans forward and grabs thin air, sort of staring blankly at where Kain used to be for a few seconds, arms circled in proto-bearhug, before Heinlein's throw basically flips him off his feet, across the ring, and onto his back.
Where he stays. Marco's tough, but you can only do so much. Right now he's simply staring at the ceiling and imagining a line of Tizoc-chans advertising a new fried chicken chain. It's glorious.

Having released Marco into the floor, Kain turns around to see Tizoc lashing out toward his legs. Kain quickly hops to the side, but then suddenly stoops down toward Tizoc. If he's going to be playing along, he might as well go all the way. Heinlein tries to grab Tizoc's extended leg with one hand, then get another hand on his torso, ideally hooking it under his arm for stability.
And if he should achieve that, Kain lifts Tizoc right up over his head. Now, there's no way someone with Kain's build should normally be able to do this. Chi is a marvelous thing. He holds Tizoc there for a moment, but not too long... he might manage to struggle free. And then Kain swings him forward and down, throwing him to the mat. Something Tizoc has surely experienced often enough. But probably not accompanied by the explosion of black flame upon impact.

It's certainly true that the experience is new for him, the black flames. But he still knows how to take a fall; as he impacts, he rolls, distributing the kinetic energy with relatively less harm, which does nothing to abate the burning of that black-chi flame. And still the man rises, seemingly indefatigable.
"Truly, you are a man of immense power, Kain R. Heinlein. Tizoc is honored to have been able to witness such power. It is inspiring!" But he does not know if it is -just-. He cannot feel that from Kain, as he could from others. And then, suddenly, Tizoc bursts forward, displaying some of that ability to speed up, roaring ac hallenge!
But not just roaring, smashing his fists at Kain as well, swinging a series of powerful, if widely telegraphed, hook punches, alternating right and left, six times totle, aiming to hammer Kain repeatedly and then, after the last left hook, attempting to clothesline the man right into the mat.
It's true. Kain's pretty strong. But to Marco's eyes, as he rises from the ground like the living dead, there is something different about the strength that Kain displays and the strength that, say, Takuma-sensei uses to beat his employee-servant senseless on a regular basis. They are both very powerful, but there is something cold about Kain's strength, despite the flame, in Marco's eyes. You might take a Shouran Kyaku to the face and wonder if you'll need dentures at 24, but you never wonder if Takuma might get it wrong and, you know, KILL YOU.
Still, he has to agree with Tizoc. For a man who looks like David Bowie recast as a business-suit wearing aerobics instructor with demonic flame powers, Kain has got the goods.
"Yes!" Marco says in agreement, before pulling his hands back and slowly pushing them forward. Golden chi flows off him in smokey waves as he summons all of his strength. "Kain Heinlein! Soon I will show you Kyokugen's true might... and continue training so that our next meeting will go differently! YOUSH!"

The first few punches from Tizoc are deflected by sweeping motions of Kain's arms. Then he suddenly shifts the positions of his hands, and with one meaty thud after another, both of Tizoc's fists slam into the palms of Kain's hands. Kain smiles at the wrestler, looking over to one side to include Marco as well. He's been paying some attention to the crowd, and since he really started playing along the number of boos coming from the big wrestling fans has gone down considerably. So, since he's got some good PR going, it'd be a shame not to keep it up. "You've both shown me some interesting moves. I'll definitely have to keep some of this in mind."
At which point Kain uses his proximity to Tizoc to unleash an explosion of black flame, meant to blast the wrestler into the ropes, so that he'll be bounced right back into Kain's arm, extended at neck height.

Tizoc rebounds from the ropes into a classic, perfect arm lariat, going ass over teakettle and landing on his back. There are gasps from the crowd, the few Tizoc partisans, who had hoped to see their man make a far better showing than he has. Then again, few of them really understand the power of Kain R. Heinlein. Tizoc has some measure of understanding now.
He rises to his knees, panting, then to his feet, his entire body shivering with new and remembered pain. His voice is hoarse. "I salute... your power, Heinlein. But I suspect that black power... is everything it seems...!" He staggers, but does not fall--
--and then he's reaching for Kain again. It's foolish... but he must try. It's in his DNA. It's what he was taught, how he was taught--attempting to take Kain by the shoulders, to find that strength still left within the battered body, and once again attempt to drive Kain into the ceiling, and then spiralling down into the mat. Right. So he has crazy black fire and, let's face it, excellent hair. Logically speaking, what Marco is about to do is not a strategically sound maneuver; after all, if Kain has such facility with chi energy that it's bouncing all over the place when he so much as sneezes, then what is Marco's chi -- fueled entirely by GUTS! and PASSION! -- going to do? It'd be like attacking a trained fencer with a two-handed sledgehammer and hoping for the best.
Well, sometimes a sledgehammer is what you need.
"FEEL THE FIERY MIGHT OF KYOKUGEN!" the Brasilian bellows, bringing his hands together at his side. The golden light that was trailing off of him stops, but suddenly it swells in a glorious haze of bright gold. Yes... of all the things he could do, it's that attack. And what Marco lacks in precision, control, and IQ, he more than makes up for with a generous does of Heart (go planet!). "HAOH..." And then he brings his hands forward, spreading them wide and making a sort of < shape, sending a massive burst of golden chi toward Kain at speed, with all of his heart and soul behind it. For whatever else he might think of Tizoc and Marco, Kain can at least respect determination. It's a rather important part of having the strength to survive. If you give up when the going gets tough, sooner or later you're just going to get ground down. That doesn't mean he's going to go easy on them, though, aside from the concession to fighting by the rules.
Once more Kain leaps away when Tizoc tries to grab him, and you can feel the wince from the crowd, as groans and some cheers erupt. These are Tizoc's people, really. Marco gets bonus points for being on Tizoc's side, and Kain has managed to claw out some cred by playing along, but it's the wrestling that most of this audience is about.
Which isn't to say they don't enjoy a good pyrotechnic display. The giant wave of golden chi from Marco causes an appropriate intake of breath from the audience as it races toward Kain. And then there's the impact, and a shockwave that's felt all the way to the back of the audience. Golden energy washes over Kain, but tendrils of black fire burst from it, causing the Haoh Sho Ko Ken to blast apart into flickering sparks of light that fade away. And a moment later the black flames fade out of view, revealing Kain with his upraised forearm. "I see you have a firm grasp of the Kyokugen style. Your training is admirable." Any implications about an unsavory nature to his power will be ignored.
Kain could respond with an energy blast of his own, but it seems he still sees fit to keep to the wrestling theme. The blonde quickly runs across the mat toward Marco, leaping toward him with both feet extended toward him for a flying dropkick. A blue aura surrounds his feet, trailing behind him for a short distance before fading away.
The crowd is totally silent now. Tizoc's been fended off at every turn. He's had no success. Were he a middle manager he'd be fired, drinking in some yakitori bar and crying. But he is not. He is The Griffon Mask. And he doesn't cave to -anybody-. Even if he gets his skull caved in. Tizoc turns, swaying, but his heart won't let his body give up!
So he manuevers around--refusing to attack Kain from behind, on his own principles--which takes some time, allowing Kain his attack on Marco. When he finally reaches the point where he feels comfortable attacking, he does so--with a simple attack, a horizontal chop for Kain's jawline. He accompanies the simple chop with that old wrestling trick of stomping the mat--in 'pro wrestling', it's used to poorly simulate the sound of a hit. Here it's just used to try and get Tizoc amped up, admittedly difficult at best, right now.

Tizoc 0/-------/-------|=======\===----\1 Kain
Right. So he just dissipated the Haohshokouken. One of Kyokugen's mightiest moves. Though really, for a FRACTION of a moment, Marco processes that Kain just complimented him on his form, meaning that 1.) he knows of and therefore approves of Kyokugen and 2.) he made an impression! Oh, happy days. It's gravy and Mexican chicken wings tonight.
(He means Tizoc)
So when Kain attempts one of the more infamous wrestling-style moves, Marco just has to try and respond in kind. "Thank you! But Kyokugen is more than just techniques. My training regimen... has made me fit and strong! Just like my partner here. Perhaps you should try Kyokugen, Mr. Griffon Mask!" He smiles. There may be a little *ting!* off his teeth. You can tell somewhere at home, Takuma is either putting his head in both hands, or hurling the remote through the TV in fury. Maybe both. Regardless, Kain is coming at him, glowing blue, feet first. What is Marco's response?
He headbutts Kain's feet.
In an IDEAL universe, he impacts the kick with such precision and force that it totally deflects Kain's attempt at a drop kick, sending the blond to the mat and proving just how inhumanly tough Marco is. In an ideal world, however, Marco also rides a unicorn to work, and his master doesn't withhold food if he gets things wrong.
Because he lives in an un-ideal world, we find Marco thoroughly unconscious on the mat after everything's said and done. But let's be fair: there are worse things that can go on your tombstone than "I tried to headbutt Kain Heinlein's feet and all I got was this lousy brain damage."
COMBATSYS: Kain interrupts Strong Punch from Tizoc with Strong Punch.
~ Cruel hit! ~

Tizoc 1/-------/=======|=======\=====--\1 Kain
It takes Kain a moment to get back to his feet after the impact with Marco, and he quickly turns to face Tizoc when he notices the wrestler circling him. He watches carefully, trying to predict what Tizoc has got up his (figurative only) sleeve this time. When The Griffon Mask lashes out, Kain has just a moment to process what he's doing, and decide how to react. And he decides to respond in kind, with a chop of his own.
Kain's arm swings in one direction, while Tizoc's swings in the other. Tizoc attacked first, but Kain is a bit faster, resulting in both hands connecting with the opponent's head at around the same time. Kain, however, has the advantage in power, not least because of the chi enhancing the impact, causing quite a bit of disruption to Tizoc's attempt. It's still enough to knock Kain's head to one side, though.
That's it; he's done. Tizoc simply topples, like a chopped-down tree, landing on his back, spreadeagled, in the arena, the bell ringing to signify the victory of one Kain R. Heinlein. The crowd is still silent--but there's some clapping, the sound of respect for the mighty warrior. Tizoc wouldn't have it any other way.
COMBATSYS: Tizoc takes no action.
