Description: The god of NESTS, seeing over his attempt to stem resistance amongst Southtown takes the war to a particular place usually seen as neutral. Igniz marches on the Southtown Hospital before being waylaid by both HeavyD and Yuno. The two rise up against the god of NESTS but themselves quickly overpowered. Igniz, now with control of the hospital, has an unlimited supply of DNA and capital for his plans. Nothing good can come of this.
The Southtown Hospital was filling up so quickly with the wounded and dying. The innoncent and not so innocent were carted in daily. Even hourly. No one in this place slept well, knowing fully well that sooner or later that the hospital would be full. There would be more than they could possibly handle. The day was fast approaching.
That day would come later, if at all. The front gates there came a rumble, a monsterous bellow from a thing unknown to the planet. Screams eminated as gunfire began to report the loud guns of the NESTS Cartel lighting up the outside of the hospital.
From the white, pearly gates that is the entrance to the Hospital, Igniz appeared, the automated doors being ripped assunder by the jetblack suit of armor that the god of NESTS had upon him.
"Hmm hmmm hmmm. What a lovely establishment. Unfortunately, I am afraid everyone here must be eliminated to make space for my own wounded." Igniz exclaims, "There is not saving here from the fate that I have found reasonable for those that resist. This 'Hospital' must be cleansed by holy fire."
The wounded and the weary do not rest well here. With things as they are, there are just too many things to worry about, including the possibility of this safe haven being attacked. Even for one who's been on the front lines, like the man known as Heavy D!, it's a worry as he gets himself patched from several encounters, including a run in with Adon and the attack at the Taiyo front gates.
He was one of the better off as far as injury thankfully. Doubly thankful too, when the rumble and the panic can be heard from the intercoms and the halls. "The hell..." he mutters to himself, wincing as the bandages around his torso for the wound trailing alongside his spine flex. Putting on his jacket, he makes his way over toward the stairs...judging from things, the panic's coming from the ground floor....and if he can do anything about it, bandaged up as he is, he may as well.
It's not a good time to be in Southtown. It really isn't.
Poor Yuno has done everything he can to keep his head down. But, eventually, that came crashing to a stop when he faced off against the furious Chang, and though his injuries weren't bad, he was knocked unconscious, and the poor chinese monk had been shipped off to the hospital to recover. With nowhere else to go, he's done everything that he can to try and help. This hasn't been much, admittedly, but he can fix and carry and talk and distract as well as anyone. Unfortunately, there comes a time when the war comes straight home, and this... is one of those times.
So it is that when Igniz arrives and makes his declaration, Yuno is one of the first ones to go outside, facing the older, impressive fighter... the boy has no illusions. He knew that if Igniz really wanted to, he could wipe him off the face of the earth, and likely not even break a sweat doing it. But, Yuno is trying very hard not to think about that. The young boy swallows hard, holding his three section staff in one hand, he tries to keep his legs from shaking too much as he finds himself looking right at the lord of NESTS.
"S-Sir, please, there... there is no need for you to do this. The people here just want to work, and, there is still some room... please, there's no reason for you to kill them... leave them alone so that they can recover in peace, your men will be cared for too... if you just give them time to let these people leave first."
Igniz doesn't start rampaging yet, even as many begin to run from him. His presence is hardly one to be ignored. Unhinged and unpredictable, the Overlord of NESTS does not rule for no reason. His motions and plans are unpredictable, yet each with their own flair. Their own iniability to sit still. Anything may drive the would be gods interest. Even things that may not appeal to no one else. Just like a child ruling over his army men, Igniz rules over his army.
Yuno appears on the scene first, approaching the god of NESTS with words that do not start in 'Run away', 'ahhhh' and 'eek'. This immidiately brings Igniz's attention towards Yuno, his eyes falling down upon the younger boy.
"Ahhhhh. Who are you? A child of so little years tells a god, one who has lived many years longer, what to do? Does your infantile wisdom outclass my aged precise vision?" Igniz asks, shaking his head. "No. No it will never. In this world, actions have consequences. To stand against a god... it is to invite his wrath upon you! Untimely death is to be expected..." Igniz announces with a smile.
"Do you choose it?" Igniz announces, his eyes intent, beating down upon Yuno.
....did he just hear right? Someone calling himself a 'god', and essentially trying to cast judgment personally on someone in the hospital? Either a hospital worker or someone injured? The hell? D! thought the world had gone crazy in Southtown, but didn't quite expect it to be that bad here. Unfortunately, from the sounds of it, trying to sneak people out seems out of the question, and as near as the stairwell door is to the voices, neither is trying to sneak in for an advantageous position.
So what does D! do? He simply walks out, standing at full height as he glares in the direction of the man who would call himself 'god'. "...who the hell are you?" is all he says. Eyes speak defiance, enough that it doesn't have to be said: if something happens here, he's going to stand and defend.
Yuno is obviously scared. The young boy steels himself, however, and swallows hard. He almost sounds like he is repeating from memory as he replies- "We must defend this path, so that others may walk it!" And that statement does seem to help him gather some of his spirit. When D! emerges from the hospital, the boy looks genuinely grateful... he wasn't going to have to face this God- or this Devil- alone! He didn't know if Igniz really was the real deal or not. Standing in the mans presence, he couldn't help but fear that he wasn't exaggerating his status.
So he swallows, and raises his staff between himself and the larger, more experienced warrior. "I... do not want to die, but, I can't let you kill these people. If I slow you even for a few seconds... maybe some more will get away. No God that I would accept would kill someone just for being unable to run away."
... of course, there's still that awful feeling, in his gut. That real hope that, despite the fact he was the one doing most of the talking and trying to reason with him... D! might protect him, because he felt about as threatening as a mouse feels to a lion.

Igniz is not alone here. Surrounded by many dead and dying, going many stories high. Here, on the first level, he is surrounded by two men of varying age. One that had happened to appear, moving down the steps before glaring towards the direction of the god. Igniz swivels to face him, looking strangely back at him. "A god." Igniz exclaims with a smile, before turning back towards Yuno.
The very colors in Igniz's face seems almost pragmatic. He does not frown, nor does he looks away from Yuno. The boy who raises his stay so young against a god will only come back and haunt the god of NESTS in the future. He must be dealt with severly.
"Then you accept your damnation instead of repenting." Igniz exclaims. "Very well then. I will waste no more breath on you. I only wish you clairvoyance in the future if you survive this encounter." The god of NESTS moves, a leg striking out quickly. Almost blinding towards Yuno in an attempt to collidre with Yuno's chest and send him tumbling backwards.
Right...a god. That's the answer that only makes D!'s face stonier. "God dosn't walk with man. If you're talking here, no matter what you're packing, you're no god," D! insists defiantly. Even without his hands wrapped, and some wounds still healing, he can't back down here, especially when he seems to be just targeting a kid with the spirit to talk back.
When the kick flies out, D! jams in, trying to go in with a low dash toward Igniz. Hoping to catch him just before that leg is fully drawn back, he reaches out, trying to snatch onto a shoulder and ram his fist into the 'God's' stomach with repeated blows before yanking down on the hopefully clasped shoulder to fully bring the 'God' down.

When Igniz comes in, Yuno does his best to resist. It's really all he can manage. He wasn't used to fighting against people of this caliber, and the most well practiced response he knows is to try and bring that staff around to turn the attack aside... but he's just too slow. The young chinese boy's eyes go quite wide when the kick slams bodily into his gut, and he is sent hurtling backwards, to land with a painful sounding -THUMP- on the ground.
He doesn't let himself stay down for long, though. As much as he wants to. And he really does want to. He has to keep to his word now that he has given it! Slowly, the boy forces himself to stand up again, doubled over already, one hand rests against his chest whilst the other holds his staff firm.
"... As expected of a true demon."

Igniz's strike collides fully with Yuno, sending the boy back, crumpling about strike. Igniz recoils almost immidiately using the propulsion to better bolster his own defenses. Even as Heavy D! violently throws himself forward, dashing in to catch him leg before attempting to bring the god and him down with repeated body strikes.
Instead, Heavy D is treated to multiple forcefields, four of them which push him backwards from where he stands, driving him away even as the assault pushes on. The damage trickles down about Igniz's own body. It pains but a little. That is all that allows.
Yuno and D! both speak about Igniz's true roots. As a demon. A a man that walks the earth rather than a god. Igniz does not stand for such insolence. "Words of mortals that need to be taught. Very well then." Igniz exclaims as he grasps his cape, vaulting forward with inhuman grace as the teeth on the cape shine, infused with a powerful lace of chi. It aims to catch Heavy D! and lift him up. There, it will immidiately cut him like a fish.

Yuno was still staggering from the kick, but, as he watches D! charge forwards, he knows he can't let his ally fight this evil force by himself. As quickly as he can, Yuno throws himself forwards. He is nothing compared to the blinding speed that Igniz had demonstrated, but he isn't going to let him walk away without facing him down as much as he can!
Suddenly, he leaps, and it isn't the weapon which leads the way, but instead his own foot. He was going to need to rely on the element of surprise if he was going to get anywhere with this, after all, and so rather than go for the obvious attack, his heel aims to connect with the jaw of the much larger man, before he darts to the side as fast as he can manage.
Well, that's not good. D!'s punches don't meet flesh, but instead energy, enough of it that he's pushed back on his heels from the force of the repulsion. "Nhh..."
When the cape is thrown forward, he tries to jerk back and get out of Igniz's range, but he's a step too close as the cape teeth snatch him, sending him to the ceiling and then cutting straight down his body, blood spattering as he falls back to the tile. "NHghhh.....
Teeth gritting from the pain of that sharp, wholly effective attack, the boxer narrows his eyes. "Try and keep back if you can, kid..." he warns Yuno, knowing that he probably won't be able to take many more hits....D! himself was nearly gutted after all. Fists clench tight...and he rolls in again, trying to drive a quick, sharp fist toward Igniz's face instead alongside Yuno's kick.

Both Yuno and HeavyD approach at once. Yuno charges from above while Heavy D pushes himself out with a fist. Both strikes combined may do something, however Yuno is too slow. Being dealt a bad hand, from some sort of divine intervention or otherwise, Igniz moves about his assault leaving nothing but the air for poor Yuno.
Heavy D's luck fears him better. The punch is driven forward towards Igniz's face, striking him clear on enough to drive the man back. Igniz chuckles even after, his smile about his features rather heavy. His features begin to swell and heal from the strike. Its an oddity that no one can really explain. Igniz does not react violenty. He reacts differently.
Heavy D finds himself with a very bad position at hand. He stands on the precipe of a god before him, Igniz raising a hand with a white, brilliant chi with no flaw what so ever. He holds it in his hands, leveling it towards Heavy D.
Hurling it towards the ground, it acellerates magnifically. Soon, it would crash into D. And whatever it hits would burn like the sun.

Yuno grits his teeth as he goes sailing overhead. A bit upset that he hadn't managed to do anything more impressive than kick the air, but, he isn't going to let that get him down. He needs to do his best, if he is going to have a chance of slowing this terrifying man down enough to help the people escape. In mid air, there is a sudden /CRACK/ as Yuno's staff is suddenly snapped together into one firm whole.
He hits the ground, and already he is turning. The boys aim is only really to try and distract Igniz long enough for D! to get an opening, "Don't worry about me!" He cries, "We're going to need to work together if we're going to slow him even for a moment!"
And it is with that in mind that he jabs out with the end of the staff, aiming to jab Igniz in the back of the head.
That distraction might help, if the blast that Igniz sends out didn't look like it nearly obliterated D!. The boxer's hardly any slouch against chi-infused attacks. He's fought quite a few who had immense power like that and stood toe to toe with them fairly well. But even this....this was just awful.
He didn't even have much time to be worried about the way Igniz's face seemed to immediately heal from his punch, before the Divine Arrow spears into him and explode like a burning star. Jacket blown off, and the rest of his body looking like he just stepped out of a house fire, the boxer gasps raggedly for are. "The....hell..." he groans, gritting his teeth. He can't help this happen...not with lives riding like this. Not with so much....
It takes all he has left in the tank to summon up the strength in his fist to do anything....every little ounce of energy poured into his right arm. His form is awful too even as he plants a foot, twists his body, and lurches painfully to send out his shot, a cannon blast of his own chi soaked into one big right hand punch toward Igniz.

Igniz looks on towards the others. Both Heavy D and Yuno once more come under the gaze of Igniz. The god of NESTS twists his head to look towards Yuno. Yuno comes, the staff distracting Igniz enough that the blow lands clearly once, barely doing any papable damage to the god of NESTS. His armor holds tight.
Heavy D comes shortly after. The speed that Heavy D moves at is enough to send the god of NESTS reeling backwards, even with the forcefield up. It slams into him, colliding powerfully. The god of NESTS does not strike back immediately. He awaits, turning towards Yuno instead with a grin. "Well well well." Igniz exclaims, do not worry about you?" Igniz asks, his form broken but not devastated. There was much more to go to defeat the god named Igniz.
Tendrils reach forward, attempting to grasp onto Yuno and pull the boy up. The capes grasp, once there, would pull the boy into the air. If caught, Igniz moves once, a single powerful punch delivered towards the chest of chest of Yuno.
"Do you not understand? I am a god." Igniz exclaims, "Your resistance only prelongs the inevitable."

Yuno leaps backwards, moving with surprising agility, he rolls quickly to the side, evading the capes grasp, the boy responds hotly, "Yes. I can look after myself!" He declares, quietly happy for the palpable blow that D! had struck against the overlord of NESTS. His own attack hadn't been meant as anything more than a distraction... but it had worked! And now he is focused, exhaling slowly as he brings his staff around, pointing it at the much more experienced fighter.
"Even if you are a God." He replies, straightening up a little, though his voice quivers a bit, "You aren't a very good one, if you need to kill the innocent to be able to look after your own people! I won't let you hurt them, you've already taken so much from this town!"

The Magnum hit clean....that's something D! could be thankful for, the chinese boy's opening not wasted by the boxer.
Unfortunately, Igniz still seems to be standing well, and D! isn't exactly in much of a good state, after getting hit dead on by two of Igniz's vicious attacks, and firing back with the biggest bomb in his own arsenal. At this rate, D! is in a pretty pained state. Lurching against the wall, he looks on, seeing Yuno settle in and try and gain a good eye on the so-called 'god'....and not much else, forced to hang back and get some energy back after having his reserves wasted by his own Magnum.

Weakness. It's the sense that Igniz can see. He can see everything clearly. Complex sensors detect a soothing breath. A moment in time that isn't wasted by talk and other nonsense. Igniz finds himself attracted towards Heavy D more than any woman would ever be in his lifetime. Yuno is taken in, but ignored mostly. This sense is one a demon, not a god.
"Innocent?" Igniz asks as his eyes focus intently upon HeavyD, "You. Him. Everyone above has fought to only destroy my kingdom that I create. You speak of destruction of innocence. I have only created life. Brought men great powers." Igniz says, "What have you ever done in your life to ammount to speak that way to divine heritage?"
His eyes never leave HeavyD. Yuno watches intently upon Igniz's footsteps. His movements. He will watch the god destroy another man the way he has smited so many others.
"Watch, boy, what could become of you if you continue stand against me. What happens to anyone that continue to stand against me." The god of NESTS makes no immidiate movements before his figure seems posessed. He rushes across the ground, almost floating as he hurries on towards HeavyD's personage. His hand is outstretched, attempting to grasp the man and propel him directly into the wall behind.

Igniz rips across the earth. The lights above are dwarfed by the glowing hand that Igniz comes towards Heavy D with. The linoleium floor reflects it all, seemingly more bright than the intense sunlight outside. This is ground zero for Igniz's strongest attack. The brutal neck grasp is just the beginning as Igniz slams HeavyD into the very wall, leaving an imprint that is astoundingly well made to fit D's body.
The worth for D may look darker as Igniz withdraws all limiters upon the suit. No longer is there the white, shining Igniz. Instead it is replaced by the demon inside the god. A dark, heavy presence holding about. The presence of chi manufactured, not gained.
"You stood against me?" Igniz exclaims, withdrawing his chain sword, as he cuts forward, the sword extending as it cuts into HeavyD's figure, a single cut aimed up and across his body. The clothes that he wears are ever present, even moving as he continues the strike.
Igniz's arms fold, the sword disappearing. The cape itself comes alive. The heavy cloth turning maliable in an instant as it cuts forward. An ocean of spikes comes down upon Heavy D. More and more striking over and over, stabbing into cloth and skin alike with very little resistance. It only gets worse.
"You doubt my very words, standing against me." Igniz exclaims four of his chi amplifiers rising as they stand at Igniz's beck and call. Four powerul balls of light appear at Igniz's beck and call errupting forward. Pilliars of white emaculate light racing out to devastate and destroy Heavy D with a clap of his hands.
Igniz continues fluently, raising his right hand towards the sky. A prayer is heard, a womans voice. A holy sound in a unholy predicament. A monsterous ball of chi thrums with power as its leveled, held in the air for all to see.
"... I DO NOT NEED YOU IN MY PERFECT WORLD!"
The ball is brought down upon HeavyD's figure, expanding to engulf him as would a black hole. The white light is volitile, seething as the power fluctuates heavily inside. The power brought down is so great that the entire building begins to shake. It seethes twice before finally finishing. Igniz stands back with a smile.
He motions twice at HeavyD. Either hand with his palm facing the man, fingers beckoning the man forward.
It is less of a taunt, more of a god seeking to humilate those that stand against him.
"Do you see now?" Igniz speaks, his words aimed at Yuno.
Yuno watches, and, as the brutal assault is leveled against his ally, he desperately wants to interrupt. He wants to force himself forwards to strike at this monster, this horror made flesh, but, he can't. He is rooted to the spot in fear, and there is nothing he can do. The bright burning of chi, the prayer, it brings tears to his eyes, honest tears of fear and helplessness. How could he even begin to respond to something like that? He could not. Never before has he -ever- felt so completely overwhelmed, so outclassed by the enemy, and so weak.
His staff feels heavy in his hands, and he knows what he has to do. He hates himself for it, but, he didn't have any other options. He couldn't defend these people, not from that kind of ... -power-. It was just too much to even contemplate. The boy falls to his knees, and bows his head, breaking the staff over his knee as he goes down. The weapon is returned to its more defensive position, curled up in his hands as he swallows hard. He couldn't defend this path... he needed to walk away, if he was going to ever do any good again.
"Please... I... I see. Please, have mercy, I, will not stand against you, but, let me leave, let me take that man with me, he, he isn't a threat to you any more, and he tried to save me... let me go, let us go, we'll not, we'll.... we'll stay out of your way."
He's babbling, really, begging for his life and the life of the brave man who had tried so hard to help him protect these people, but, what can be -done- in the face of such overwhelming force? Yuno certainly couldn't imagine it... but at the same time, he didn't want to run away and leave D! to his fate.
Privately, he's just glad that he didn't wet himself.

And the world goes black for D!. The full on assault catches him in his restful daze, his arms not even able to pull up before he's slammed into, driven to the wall...and simply cut up with sword, cape, and then the horrid spheres of energy simply obliterating him.
There's little to be said about the result. When the building finishes shaking....D! is barely there. Broken, looking less a man than a hump of burnt flesh, it's unlikely he's getting up to defy the 'god' before him, today or even a week from now, even if he manages to cling to life long enough to recover.

Igniz stands for a few moments over the body of HeavyD to make sure he doesn't get up. He turns about slowly, almost ghostly in appearence. After all that, Igniz still has a smile upon his face. It has yet to change through all the brutal acts that were leveled against him, and vise versa.
Yuno's plee goes out. Its a rather hasty one that has been rushed following the horrible scene that had taken place. Has he finally been believed? Has his godhood been recognized? Igniz is sure of it.
"You have openly went against my wishes. You have defied me and now ask me to take pity upon you... do you know how miserable you sound?" The god of NESTS asks of the man, "To whimper before my divine presence and ask that I let two heretics leave to once more fight against me. I would be a fool to openly accept."
A ball of power swells in his hands once more. The same divine chi that he had leveled upon the man now finds itself towards Yuno. The god of NESTS watches Yuno's moves closely. Igniz has decided. It was only fair.
"Take him and leave." Igniz exclaims. "I do not want him rotting in my new building. I have work to do." The Overlords hand swings shut, the ball of chi disappearing in his grasp. The wisps of energy fall off and around.
"I give no word to the men outside. I should think you will hurry."

Yuno doesn't really know what he is going to do if Igniz turns on him. Part of him desperately wants to run, as fast as he possibly can. Another part is determined not to leave D! behind, and yet another part is screaming at him how wrong it is that he is giving up so easily, that he should abandon so many people to death just so that he and D! can live to fight another day...
He doesn't respond to the insult, he just swallows, and the young chinese boy stares in horror as the ball of chi swells in Igniz's hand. He is tense, afraid, too afraid, really, to do anything but stare, like a deer caught in the headlights.
When the pronouncement is made, however, Yuno doesn't waste a moment. He doesn't say a word as he jumps from his position, to grab D!, and haul the much larger man over his shoulder. Yuno isn't that strong, but, motivated by fear and necessity, he isn't going to slow down.
As fast as his little legs can carry him, Yuno runs out of the building, hauling D! off to Chinatown... he knew Chinatown, and was sure he could find someone to help him rouse the boxer back to health if he worked hard.
Heavy D! has no real say in the matter, out cold as he is. Limp, and definitely heavier than the average man, it's a miracle as is that Yuno manages to carry him out of the hospital like this. At least the boxer is out of it enough not to be aware of his total failure today...

Igniz stands amongst his men, victorious. Behind him, many people lay fallen in the assault. Still, the god of NESTS has not taken no damage. He must mend to his own wounds.
He turns away from Yuno and Heavy D as they make their uncanny escape. The hospital is his. The wounded, above, are in the god of NESTS hands. What could possibly come from this could not be very good.
Igniz smiles as he turns, the god of NESTS as happy as a child on their birthday.
"I wonder who is here." Igniz exclaims, "It is time to find out."
