SNF 2008.10 - High Noon! M. Bison vs Nagare

Description: High Noon, in Texas--a match to the death(?!?) between swimmer extraordinaire Nagare and the current Warrior's Belt holder, Mike Bison! READ IT NOW (winner: M.Bison)

Today, in TEXAS. There's no good beginning to rise and no one can really tell what! Those varments are all over this here hills and now they're gonna get! Dag nabbit! Today is that here Title match!

And where better than an old coal train of yesteryears where ya didn't get sucked off by the bullet speed! Now that is something you all can look forward too I reckon! Dadgum we reckon it's gonna be a hoot!

Right on top of the main train, Nagare is getting ready. He's still only wearing his flipper slash speedo combo, in turn with his head band. It's the most impressive thing there is! And there he stands, right upon the cattle call in the center. That might be the VIP dining car! But you'll never know. You'll never know! But they might.

Looking around even before the train begins to catch speed, Nagare's bunkering himself down! Why, he's a swimmer, not a western star! But he's also been a rapper and a blinged out fighter, so anything can happen! And thing except fighting, since, well, that's more likely a given! So Nagare's gonna be hanging around these parts.

Word is there's an outlaw named M.Bison about here!

Oh yeah. It's Texas. Bison... wasn't born anywhere near here. But he likes Texas, the one place he can probably find a steak big enough to salve his hunger. When he is hungry for steak that is. The train starts to shudder--the engine getting underway, as the announcer's muffled voice sounds, explaining the fight to the few passengers on the train. Bison is in that car... and he's confused.

Where the -hell- is Nagare? Goddamn 'swimfighter'... Bison just shook his head when he saw the picture of his opponent. What a freak. "OI, where the hell is this nutjob?!?" growls Bison, accosting a nearby official. The official pales, gulps... then points up. Straight up.

Unsurprisingly, Bison looks cross. "Motherf**k," he mutters... then walks towards the far end of the train. Probably away from where Nagare is. Then he leaps up, leading with his head. Bison is going to bust out of the ceiling and up onto the roof, standing in front of a new, large hole in the car's roofing.

"Oi, bitch. Let's go. I don't like t' be kept waitin', especially by some skinny guy like you."

There's a powerful crash. And then another, a dent ripping up through the train before Bison rips out, landing atop the train and standing there. Well, Nagare couldn't say that the man wasn't a terribly vexing opponent. Even from just seeing him, Nagare can tell that he's a little different than many! He's got more muscles than muscles should exist!

Well, that's not going to stop Nagare. He took this because he thinks he can attempt to win one of these! Whyzsat? He's not sure! But if he does, then he'll give Taiyo High a real good name. A good name for all! Standing upon the car, Nagare begins to move only for the train to move as well. "Woah!" Nagare calls, catching himself as the train lurches forward, the inky black smoke from the front car beginning to leave a trail.

Standing up but wobbling, Nagare looks towards Bison. "Aright! Lets give it a try!" Nagare cries. Well, he sure can, and that's what Nagare does. He already begins to move as Bison complains about waiting. Well, Nagare won't let him wait very long then! Especially because the swimmer is moving right towards him, breaking down on the ground before kicking masteryfully, sliding towards Bison's feet, and battering his legs with water chi and flippers!

"Alright! Since you asked so nicely!"

Bison? Ask NICELY? Surely Nagare is jesting. He seems entirely pleased (read: really kind of pissed off) as Nagare lunges forward and slides. The splashing water chi and those kicking legs do, in fact, strike against Bison's legs, as Nagare intended. That much is sure. In fact, Bison appears to be -going down-, pitching forward hard... has Nagare struck a decisive hit, so early in the battle? Is it possible that he's felled the mighty Bison of the plains? Well... yes, and no.

The thing is, it's Bison. He's falling, it's true, but he's also punching as he falls--punching out with his right hand, sending it coming down in an overhand smash meant to cave the top of Nagare's head right in--and as he's falling, he's also catching his weight on his left hand, to avoid hitting the already-abused car roof too hard.

No nifty pop-up or roll away--Bison simply recovers himself as best as he can, to get back up to his full height, after his combination fall and punch.

COMBATSYS: Nagare blocks M.Bison's Dash Upper.

Nagare           0/-------/----===|==-----\-------\0          M.Bison

Nagare just watches as Bison begins to tumble. Is that his weakness?! Is M.Bison's shins his terrible secret, akin to an Archilles heel?! Short answer - no. No it is not. Nagare just watches the large man begin to fall, but a large fist begins to falls as well. So that's DEFINITELY not what Nagare was hoping for. Bison is too meaty for Nagare to get well!

And so the punch comes, Nagare throwing up both hands as he inches backwards from the assault, crashing into his figure like you wouldn't believe. It is, if anything, one of those moments where you look back and say 'Ow'. Plain and simple. His arms get battered on one assault. Nagare even stumbles backwards from the assault as M.Bison aims to recover. So Nagare flies! Flies? Flies! Nagare vaults upwards, at such speeds, kicking up before using gravity and the momentum of the train to drive himself right towards M.Bison's head!

Now, this is a terrible oddity. Usually one couldn't do this on a train, but Nagare can use his waterchi to 'swim' against gravity as it where.

And the laws of such gravity and velocity are fickle.

COMBATSYS: M.Bison interrupts Concrete Dive from Nagare with Turn Punch.

Nagare           1/-------/=======|====---\-------\0          M.Bison

Very strange technique, indeed. Very strange. Bison, however, is having none of it. There isn't a -lot- of room for Bison to manuever... but there's enough. He looks up, his brow furrowing deeply... and then he backsteps and turns.

Charging his lazor, so to speak--or, just waiting, for the right moment... his body turns a bit more, Nagare's dive striking only the big man's shoulder. And that moment of contact is like pulling a trigger, as suddenly, Bison explodes out of his twisted position, coming around to punch Nagare -right in the face-. The impact sounds like a shot, and while it isn't likely that Nagare is going to be put out by such an impact...

Well, it's still gotta hurt. Bison knows. He's been there, just not on the end of his own punch. Not that he has any sympathy for Nagare--the swimmer challenged him, after all.

Well then! That was very painful a reminder to Nagare that M.Bison is an unhappy man of muscle! Nagare comes right down, before the punch strikes Nagare in the face! Well, and when you're moving that fast, it tends to hurt! Velocity and gravity are suched fickle mysteries! Rebounding with a terribly bloody face, Nagare slaps the ground with an unhealthy splat, blinking at first and trying to regain some sort of thought.

But he gets up, still rather hurted, and looks right at M.Bison. Well, this could be pretty terrible. So, the swimmer things, what's a good thing to do in these situations!? And the obvious answer?!

Well, He moves back, grasping a hold of a large lump of coal before heaving it towards M.Bison in an aim to try and throw the large man out of the way! Well, somewhat. One can't really know what's going to happen! But it all helps after all!

COMBATSYS: M.Bison dodges Nagare's Large Thrown Object.

Nagare           1/-------/=======|====---\-------\0          M.Bison

Bison ducks--and moves forward at the same time. Classic boxing move, really. He surges forward, looking contemptuous. "Ain't gon' beat me tossin' pieces of coal, girlyman. What, you think you Santa Claus? I -know- I been bad." He's not shouting--but his voice does have a low, growling, menacing tone to it. As he comes up out of his crouch, Bison fakes a shoulder rush with his left shoulder, actually stomping down on the flooring, denting it.

And then he continues to feint, firing a pair of left jabs for Nagare's midsection. What they used to call body blows. But he's not really going for that either--what he's going for is to smack Nagare right in the head with his favorite fist, his right fist.

The one that has 'PAIN' tattooed across the knuckles, underneath the gloves. The one that is, right now, whistling around towards Nagare's temple in a classic hook punch, Bison using a twist of hip and upper body to bring the punch just a mite faster than usual.

COMBATSYS: Nagare interrupts Hook Punch from M.Bison with Breast Stroke Kick EX.

Nagare           1/----===/=======|======-\-------\0          M.Bison

You know, there are times when smart things don't always happen. Nagare watches as Bison ducks under and moves, thrusting forward through his lump of coal before saying something about Christmas and Santa Claus. Now, even as M.Bison is moving, Nagare is also moving. Away.

Which gives him a little time to see the faint, the left jabs pushing Nagare just towards the right side before the powerful head blow smacks right into Nagare's figure, knocking Nagare right over, throwing him backwards with the imprint of PAIN!

Of course this also means that Nagare begins to kick, trying to get out of the situation. But he doesn't. Instead, he just kicks into M.Bison's side. Over and over and over, his feet smacking into Bison and thrusthimg him backwards with strike after strike after strike, water chi enveloping him as he KICK KICK KICKS to get away.

And, well, it's a little more effective either ways!

Kick'd! Bison stumbles back from the kicking--not having landed a solid blow, but still doing some damage anyways... who can say who came out better in that exchange, if, indeed, anyone did at all? The water chi.. is -weird-. Bison momentarily wonders if he should feel like he's wet himself. He knows he hasn't, though... that lingering cold, wet, clammy feeling is just another thing to piss him off some.

What pisses him off more, though--Nagare. Or rather, how weakly Nagare's hit him. "Come ON!" he shouts, stamping his feet, snorting, acting oh-so-like the Bison for which he is fortuitously named. "You gotta have somethin' better than that! HIT ME!" roars the man--and he is shouting now, of course.

"F**kin' hit me or I might start to feel bad bein' beat on by a GIRL!!" Ah, so original and witty, Bison. Clearly this is why Vega keeps him around, right?

COMBATSYS: M.Bison gathers his will.

Nagare           1/----===/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Well now! Nagare really didn't expect M.Bison to be all there already as he goes! That's really surprising! Even as Bison stumbles back, it gives Nagare precious time he needs to do what he must! In other words, Nagare is busy being Nagare! Watch and learn! And he does it with ease. Standing tall and looking towards Bison even as he stumbles backwards.

"Wow, mister Bison. You hit pretty hard!" Which, to say the truth, is relatively true. And more like a known fact than anything else. Nagare scratches his head at first, awaiting to see what M.Bison does. But he doesn't do anything right now, just waiting for Nagare to assault with a COME ON. Well, Nagare can't really say no to that!

But he sorta does. He lays backwards, not waiting to assault at the moment as he catches his breath. He looks heavily taxed already, and with this, he'll look just a little better! Nagare rests even as the train is in full motion.

"Just, just give me a second!" Nagare announces, "I need to shake myself out a little." He sure does.

COMBATSYS: Nagare gains composure.

Nagare           1/------=/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Bison stares Nagare right in the face. "One." And then he's lunging forward. Seems like that is at least ninety percent of his movement in any fight--moving forward, aiming his body at his opponents. This time is no different--with Nagare attempting to take a breather, Bison is interested in only one thing--taking that breath away from Nagare.

He comes roaring forward, seeking perhaps to bury his shoulder into Nagare's chest--or perhaps to hurl him from the edge of one car to the other, as he follows up his lunging shoulder rush with a pistoning, hard straight punch. Really, the combination of punches is actually meant to keep Nagare on his toes--not meant to do major damage. But Nagare doesn't need to know that.

Bison does what he can to ensure that each punch looks as dangerous as it should.

COMBATSYS: Nagare dodges M.Bison's Medium Punch.

[           \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\  < >  //////////////////////        ]
Nagare           1/------=/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Well then. Nagare wasn't really expecting that! Even though he should have. Bison just lunges like an animal. It's impressive to watch him shoot forward, fire off towards the swimmer with a terrible punch and aim to crash into his lungs, shattering his chest and the like! But Nagare isn't going to be on the recieving end of that! No way no how! Why would he, after all. That punch has a lot behind it!

Leaping like only one could imagine, the Swimmer slowly floats over the punch and shoulder rush, up into the air and coming back down towards Bison. The punch looks bad, but Nagare could get over it! Somewhat. And now when he comes down, he doesn't even turn around. Instead, he simply aims to move beneath Bison and ensnare him by pushing against him, lift him up and slam him by his back!

Nagare, though, can only do so much. It's a little odd to throw this way, but in all, Nagare's style is quite odd!

COMBATSYS: M.Bison blocks Nagare's Quick Throw.

[          \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\  < >  /////////////////////         ]
Nagare           1/------=/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Ensnare Bison? Not as likely as one might think. The boxer actually moves forward when Nagare pushes forward... moving enough to get away before Nagare can lift. And then he's turning around, quickly. "Lil' cockroach, ain'tcha," Bison mutters, nastily, throwing what looks to be a simple left jab. Only, the jab is suddenly leaned into, like it were a straight punch--as if Bison had been faking being right-handed.

He isn't, of course, but learning how to adjust your stance is a handy thing to know, sometimes. The fist lances out, again seeking to impact against Nagare's face, and Bison's rage is behind it, perhaps making it more potent... but Nagare has been quite persistent so far, and that's making Bison madder.

COMBATSYS: Nagare blocks M.Bison's Light Punch.

[            \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\  < >  /////////////////////         ]
Nagare           1/-----==/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Woah! Even as M.Bison fires a punch right towards Nagare, the swimmer isn't going to be thrown away that easily. Even as Bison fires the punch, Nagare brings up his fists, his arms taking the blunt of the assault as he's driven back by the strike. It's painful, but that's expected. He's fighting Bison after all!

Nagare thrusts himself backwards, breathing heavily as Bison moves out towards the swimming wonder. But now it's Nagare's turn, and all he's doing he's going to throw himself right towards M.Bison in hopes to do a simple thing. Get him in a strike! And he'll try all right.

So Nagare moves, aiming to throw himself underneath M.Bison, and then lift up, hoping to throw the large monster of a man backwards and drive him right into the lumber car! "Maybe... but that's alright!"

COMBATSYS: M.Bison dodges Nagare's Strong Throw.

Nagare           1/-----==/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Bison is not really known for his ability to jump. His legs are strong, no doubt, but he is not a -jumper-. However, his footwork, while not the focus of his boxing skills, is often underestimated. See here, now, where he waits until the absolutely last moment before backhopping, keeping his legs out of Nagare's grasping hands. Doesn't matter what he was planning--Bison is having none of it.

And then, then he stops, plants his feet, and hop-lunges forward. As he is momentarily off the ground, he rears his right hand back, and then as he touches down he hammers his fist in a downward arc, seeking to drive Nagare right into the roofing. This is no testing punch--Bison is aiming to smash Nagare's face.

But at least Nagare is trying--can't fault the man for that, at least. Bison roars as he punches--a sound most find intimidating. But Nagare is made of sterner stuff, isn't he?

COMBATSYS: Nagare dodges M.Bison's Fierce Punch.

Nagare           1/-----==/=======|=======\==-----\1          M.Bison

Well now, that's a little surprise for Nagare! The swimmer finds out that M.Bison is made out of tough stuff... again! But Nagare, if anything, isn't going to try to elongate it uneededly. M.Bison continously shows how agile he is over and over again. And Nagare, well, Nagare is known for his ability to be one of the hardest little darn bugs to hit! And that's saying something! M.Bison fires another hop lunge punch into Nagare, and the swimmer well.

The swimmer is aloft, throwing himself into the air and striking the ground hard with a grunt before bringing his arms upon himself, aiming to pump himself full of water. That's right! Water and CPR. CPR and water. Over and over and over again. One after another after another in an attempt to give himself a small advantage! OF course, this also means mean mistah Bison can take advantage.

WILL HE?!

You bet your ass he'll try. This guy is getting to be more trouble than he's worth--but Bison isn't the type to give up. Nagare doesn't attack Bison... so Bison comes to him. And his anger is making him attack all the harder. When he finally -does- land another hit, it'll probably be a fairly epic one, the way he's letting his anger pump his strength up.

"YOU GODDAMN PANSY!!" he shouts, roars really, as he charges forward, aiming once again to slam into Nagare with a shoulder... but then stepping forward, from there, swinging his right hand up and around in a hellacious uppercut. It is probably, tactically, an inadvisable manuever...

But whoever said Bison thought tactically?

Nagare continues to thrust his chest full of healing water chi and push air into himself! It's a labor of love. Love love love! And now, as Nagare does such, there's only one problem. M.Bison is still there. And he's still pushing the envelope on Nagare. And Nagare? He's accepting the envelope. Actually, he does. And he opens is. Even as the healing water chi does its work, Nagare thrusts himself forward.

Right into M.Bison's charge, thrown in an attempt to get as close as possible. And he does, striking forward even as M.Bison's punch uppercuts him into the air, but Nagare comes down in a terrible fashion!

"Hey! I resent that! I'm just using my time wisely!" And he is. Because as he comes down towards M.Bison's figure, he kicks, a giant wave of water chi washing out as he aims to simple drown M.Bison in kicks and water chi, water chi and kicks! To each his own of horrible powerful fish attacks!

Nagare almost forget how much it hurts, but there's a powerful red scar on his chest. Woah!

"You don't _HAVE_ any time!!" roars Bison, angrily, even as he feels his uppercut connect solidly. But not quite as solidly as he wants--popping Nagare up into the air in a manner he can only suspect is controlled until it's confirmed, by the kicking and splashing. Bison takes it, full in the chest, but he is, as is typical for the man, -already- surging forward...

Seeking to plant his fist into the man's face. It isn't his turning punch, but an attack that is as famous, even more so--an attack that he used to knock out many an amateur boxer right from the bell. This time, though, he feints a right punch, then comes in with the left, roaring a guttural "UUURRAAAAAAAAAAH!!" as he goes.

Is he holding back? Maybe he is... but he's confident, utterly confident, in the ability of his fists to make right what wrongs have happened here today. (Wrongs in his eyes, of course.)

COMBATSYS: M.Bison successfully hits Nagare with Dash Straight.

Nagare is nailed! Nagare is nailed hard! His own strike just fuels the flames of M.Bison's own assault. And Nagare, being a fighter, cannot simply allow that! Too much of course. Even as M.bison throws himself into his own assault. But that matter not! Nagare has a chance and a place to be! And that's at the end of M.Bison's punch! Even as it may be so, Nagare isn't going to go down that easily! Or... is he?!

The punch rocks throw Nagare's figure, sending him back and throwing himself in an effort that can only mean no good! The Swimmer is thrown back three different train cars before he gets up, eyes M.Bison, and weakly smiles. "Nice... shot!" Nagare announces in retort. And It was a nice shot! Nagare is thrown backwards brutally! Well, there's always a chance he could not be ready for such a thing!

But Nagare moves, even as he's weak and breathing heavily, the swimming wonder of Taiyo moves towards M.Bison with a single mind to strike M.Bison, throwing himself with a swimming strike of proportions as he takes to the air, aiming to simple run into M.Bison and batter him with his figure! Swim swim swim!

Bison's smirking. The camera will show a closeup of his face for about two seconds, before little kids start to cry, and thus the Viewers At Home(tm) get to see Bison's eyes change. They go from reasonable, somewhat shrewd, and mean... to just mean. This guy just -won't- go down, no matter what... and Bison's already irritated by the swimmin'. BOY JUST DON'T MAKE NO SENSE.

What can Bison do to restore order to his world?!? There's only one thing. The one truth that Bison keeps in his heart--the truth of Gigaton Blow. Just as Nagare is swimming forward, Bison turns away--and then, muscles tense, tightening, creaking.. and then Bison -explodes- forward.

It looks much like his Turn Punch--but that punch didn't have the air tearing around Bison's fist. If the previous impact sounded like a shot, this sounds like a cannon going off, at point-blank range, Bison throwing his punch right into Nagare, slamming into the swimmer... and continuing on, Bison ending up at the edge of the train car, just barely able to hold himself and keep from falling right the hell off.

"Bitch, get off mah train."

Well, Nagare is beaten! Well, it's something you really can't stop. Nagare is thrown right off the train as the strike comes, the punch bowling Nagare over in a terrible strike, thrusting him out and blasting him about. That's a terrible strike directly towards his chest. It feels like the strike just blasts right into his chest. Oof!

But Nagare isn't completely finished yet! Even if he is. He spins magically! Majestically powerfully as he goes, spinning and spinning and spinning in an attempt to be tossed right off the train, but his flppers and water chi go all over! It's crazy!

Nagare is launched, landing in the desert where the crew goes to pick him up. Oh no! Swimmer down, swimmer down!

Bison is gettin' -damned- tired of dealin' with this fool. Nagare's kicking and punching and tossin' that chi around... and Bison just rampages, punching almost wildly, trying to get at the man with the watery chi that burns like hygiene. Alas, he cannot reach him--for Bison has already punched him off the train.

Finally, Bison's rage subsides and he sits down on the traincar, denting it again. "Oi," he shouts, down into the car where he started, "This thing gotta shower? I need a damn shower. That water... whatever... crap he was tossin' around was funky." And that, at least, closes out another belt defense... Bison shakes his head.

"A swimmin' fighter. Ain't nevah heard o' that before. Wonder if Bison'd want 'im." What is next for Nagare? Brainwashing? UNDERWATER OPERATIONS?!? (the hospital?)
