Description: Naerose and Aranha are to meet and do battle, but hearts arn't always in it. Well Aranha's heart is certainly in it, even if the witch is more interested in getting an interview (she doesn't.) The start of this new tournament ends with . . . Winner:Aranha
It was night time at the docks and while there were packages moving in and out of the harbor the activity was greatly decreased. There would be no audience for this fight although there were various cameras ste up all over the place.
When Aranha arrived, he look down at the note telling him to be at this specific location at a specific time. If he had any doubts about it being the location for his preliminary fight, the fact that he could see from his study of the environment there were cameras placed all over the place confirmed it.
With a yawn and a stretch he looked around and waited. After all, he wasn't told who his opponent was but if he'd knew he probably would've had a variety of plans. After all they've fought each other so many times that they both knew each others strategies.
Yawwwwn. It was so totally contagious. Naerose was there, but not early, she actually arrived a little late and now that she was there, what happened? There was a yawn that totally caught on to the witch. That was the first thing that happens. Yeah, she's kind of sleepy looking.
"Hey Aranha," Saya Naerose and waves eagerly before making her way into the area. "So what is this whole fight thing about?" asks Naerose. She scratches her head, looking a little confused.
"Some sort of .. I dunno new thing? Tournement? Do you wanna give a ineteview?" She hardly looks like she has any idea what is going on here and who knows, it's Naerose. She could be confused. Really confused.
If she's asking questions then maybe this wasn't the opponent he was supposed to be fighting. "Naerose." A bit of ackowledgement, nothing as civil as a 'hi' or 'hello,' but nothing overtly hostile about his greeting either. "If you're doing interviews it might help to do some research on what it's about and who is fighting." He pauses and looks at her for a moment before stepping back and looking for any signs of Naerose striking or if his actual opponent is arriving.
He takes a deep breath as he cranks his arm around, "Strolheim tournament. As for the interview, I'm not giving one until my opponent arrives."
"Wait, I'm your opponent, Naerose Delphine, the red witch, totally at your service. Lets do this whole thing right? I think we should have a rap battle, the person not rapping does a beat box while the person wrapping wraps and then we take turns," Naerose says with a big grin and stratches over her back with her broom, using the tip of the long stick to really get at her back that needs some serious scratch.
"Hey, got some change?" She asks, lifting a brow so high it pokes out from under her shades.

Aranha wasn't sure that a rap battle was something people like Eiji and Krauser had in mind when this tournament was conceived. Of course he wasn't about to let it go with saying something about the terms she was going to set forth. It didn't really make him mad and if anything it was kinda of amusing but even still he says, "Oh... No you don't! I'm not here to perpetuate another stereotype for some red-clad witch's amusement!"
As for the pocket change no he doesn't bring any more money than he needs at a given time to fights. He's learned his lesson after Ayame. Plus he's determined to make sure that Naerose doesn't get a penny off of him. "As for the money, no."
He pauses to think about something. "And I'm not gonna give you food either." Yeah... It's probably good that he cut that off at the pass early on. Either way, Naerose has announced herself as his opponent and he's about to start the fight out by tilting into handstand and then whirling about like human tornado with a couple of kicks from the handstand,

Woah, Aranha was coming off strong and Naerose was not liking it. She was shocked, really, to see him coming at her so fast, so hard, so crazy. Luckily she knows how to deal with this sort of thing. A break dance battle.
"Oh Break dance battle!" exclaims Naerose as she uses her broom to try and deflect some of her incoming attacks.
"Here I come! Can you handle this?" Naerose asks and throws her legs around in an attempt to a dance move. But unfrotunately, Naerose doesn't have any rhythm.

The witch's rhythm is so off, and so spastic that he doesn't quite know how to deal with it and so when he tries to bend himself under the legs, he completely mistimes it and gets batted aside by both those wild and uncontrolled legs kicking around and that broom which he ends up having to peel himself off of.
A slightly confused look shows up on his face but he continues to keep constant movement as he flips up into the air and then comes down on top of the witch heel first. HARD.

Hard kicks were the kind of thing most people want to get away, from and Naerose is totally no exception, she's seeing it coming and she's not wanting any part of it, specifically Naerose wants to get the heck out of the way. Those kicks are really hard hitting, Naerose knows, she knows a lot about Aranha and his fighting style, she's been kicked by that a whole lot.
"Woah, not cool!" exclaims Naerose and then realizes, yeah, more abuse is going to come her way if she isn't careful.
"Woah, gimme some Space aranha.. Hey do you have a wallet in here?" She asks and tries to get her hand in Aranha's pocket and also to try flinging him.

When Naerose reaches into the capoeirista's pocket she'll find bad news and worse news. Bad news, his pocket does not contain a wallet. Worse news, she'll also find that when she goes to fling him that he has an elbow waiting for her to catch her in the chin before she can get much more out of it than a violent jerk.
Speaking of violent jerks Aranha then pulls Naerose up to him by her collar as he whips his head back before smashing his head in her face and then suddenly dropping down low grab her legs and pull them from under her. "You know, you did such a good job getting off my shit list too." His lips curl into a somewhat malicious smile.
"Ooouch!" exclaims Naerose while being whipped around by Aranha before hitting the ground as her legs out from under her.
"Off your list? Wait a minute, this is how you treat people off your list?" Naerose is totally shocked and then looks around and then back at Aranha.
"You're mean!"
The witch tries to extend a string off the end of her broom, moves it like a lasso and flings it at Aranha,
"But now this happens." She exclaims and tries to lasso Aranha on the neck before sending a chi shock thorugh it.
"Hey,ywhat do you care about your wallet if you don't carry money?"

Aranha doesn't respond to it verbally. After all, he's focused on the outcome rather than having fun. As the thread comes for his neck he decides to do something a little different. He drops down into a split and then plants both hands in front of him which in turn allows him to push off in a modified front handspring propelling him forwards.
The entire display looks flashy but there was an actual purpose behind it. The front handspring was probably less efficient than a dive roll would be but landing on his feet(instead of a crouch) allowed him to be in position for him to thrust a front kick right in the bread basket.

Woah! Aranha isn't talking, he's dancing still, he's doing the whole break dance fight. Okay, Naerose can play that game. First she huddles down and takes some deep breaths. Yeah, deep breathing, get yourself back on track. Then she narrows her eyes at Aranha and is like totally gonna give this one a try,
"Here goes nothing."
The witch flings out her hand and sends a flurry of little icy darts to pepper the area around and maybe on Naerose?
"Sagitta Minor!" she says while flinging her sleeve and spinning away to give her some distance.

The capoeirista seems to do an homage to Night Fox's laser field dance in Ocean's Twelve. He bobs, weaves, twists, spins, contorts himself, and flips as he moves through the flurry of ice darts and continues on a zig-zagging path towards the red spell-slinger.
Once he was right in front of the witch he comes in with a low sweeping kick which truth be told was just to generate momentum for to pull himself up into a handstand before snapping down a hard kick down upon the witch's head before tilting back into a standing position.
That cruel smile is still plastered on his face.

This time the kick lands, and lands well, Naerose practically stumbles in attempts to get away. The kick does a great job of helping her with the final bit of stumbling. Then Naerose is having to pick herself up as best she can. Her leg is a little wobbly from getting hit and nearly staggering, but the end result.. She just tries to outright kick Aranha right back.
"Ouch, you gotta be less mean." Naerose states again, planting her broom to keep herself on her feet still.

Aranha raises a forearm as he rocks away in a low crouching position as the kick comes in, allowing the for the capoeirista to reduce the impact of the kick and also use the impact to generate momentum for his spin.
As he spins, Aranha plants two hands on the ground while also keeping one foot on the ground as he throws his hip around to throw a powerful kick with his heel. No growls. No shouting. Aranha plans on expressing his emotions through his fighting.

As the kick winds toward Naerose, she can't seem to get out of the way just in time and fails as Aranha manages to land it nearly perfectly. Though this gives her some space as she tumbles back and ends up on her knees, barely manages to keep herself in one piece. She pushes up, shakily at first, then holds her hands out to either side and lets the power gather in her palms.
"En Criento En!" cries the witch and then clasps her hands together, flinging the energy attack at Aranha like a exploding beam of power, meant to swirl and well cause pain, on him, ideally.

The energy beam slams into the capoeirista at such an unusual angle that he's driven into a crane which then spins around causing a hook to pull him up by his shirt and whip him around until his he was thrown into the Pacific.
*SPLASH*
Aranha is under water for awhile before he pulls himself back up on the docks. He gives a hard stare as he moves towards Naerose. As he passes a crate along the way, he rips the lid of the crate off and then throws it at her like a frisbee.
He's still coming and it looks more like a horror movie psycho's walk towards her.

It occurs to Naerose she would like to bring up her hand and fling a blast of chi at Aranha, and .. well what can you say to something like that. She could at best, ony get .. No wait, that shiny thing on the ground, is that a quarter? Naerose gets hit head on by a crate lid, why? Because she is too busy watching the crate lid and the end result..? She gets hit HARD and ends up laid out flat. The witch is staring at the ceiling.
Aranha didn't even think he he threw the crate lid that hard, not that he was type to look a gift horse in the mouth. However he can tell that she still can fight and so he goes from that psycho killer walk and begins to pick up speed until he's running.
His efficient movement takes him past Naerose and to a stack of crates close by. He bounds back and forth until he's up on top of the stack of boxes and launches himself off of the box and drops down feet first on Naerose's stomach while she's staring at the stars.

The stars.. They are so pretty and so Naerose begins to count them. One. Two.. Three. Four. But like metal gear slowly but surely they start to go away. The witch gets up, just like one of the guards, rubs her head and then leans on her broom. She wants to hit Aranha with something and then she can think about what to do next. So the witch uses her broom and tries to jab Aranha while staggering a bit on her feet.

Aranha doesn't even try to move out of the way of the broom poke. In fact what Aranha had in mind was to grab the broom and then let loose with a pair of powerful kicks. And while he takes the shot as planned, the broom handle is drawn back for he can grab a hold of it.
Of course, just because part one of his plan failed, it doesn't quite invalidate part two of it. He steps forward before swinging a powerful roundhouse kick before bringing back the foot around to hook around Naerose's head to pull her face first to the ground.

His tone of voice takes a mocking feminine tone as if he he was mocking Naerose. "You're mean! You're mean!" His voice returns to its natural pitch though there significant amounts of venom. "Yeah, I'm a fucking mean son of a bitch, sometimes."
Then Aranha just stomps the back of the head. "You're a selfish, immature brat, always talking about 'Gimme food and gimme money.' You never take responsibility for your actions, and are incapable of accepting consequences for the things you do. Jesus... Even back when I was a thief I knew that if you got caught reaching into someone's pocket you expect someone to be mad at you. You think I should be fucking happy you reached down there?"
He takes a moment to stomp a couple more times. "This is also after you said you were good now and after Tessa spoke up for you? I knew you were incapable of changing. You don't give a flying fuck about anyone but yourself, you self-serving bitch. I'm glad you're no longer on the team."
He then moves his foot off the back of her head and turns his back on her. Of course there's internal turmoil that he's not going to cop to while.
Man Aranha really gave it to her. Naerose is like Woah. I mean there is being hit and then there is being Hit. They were both of significant notice here. She's so stunned byy it all she can hardly do more than say woah, a big woah. Still there is always hitting him back. Might as well try.
". . . " She has nothing at all to say to that, well nothing like that. Instead she says,

And then she flings out a blast of energy attempting to give Aranha some instant meanie karma.

When Aranha hears the words 'En Criento,' he knows to drop to the ground before that blast of energy can hit him. He does so incredibly fast, in a saddle split with enough room to see under his legs to see the witch with her arm outstretched from the effort of flinging the wave of energy.
He then rises up and turns to take a look over his shoulder with a look of contempt before he keeps walking away. But after the rant he can't help but whisper so soft that no one can hear it but him, "Oh my god, I'm turning into /her./"
