Description: A fight originally scheduled to be a 2vs2 turns into 1vs2 when Maki decides to no show. The result is Gabriel and Rylee taking on Diana in a rather bloody and epic fight that ends with the newcomer getting a win over the rather fiest Canadian and the rather strange Gabriel. (Winner: Diana)
Oh, sweet Monaco, what beauty you are blessed with~! What could we ask of you but to exist... and be tax free.
Monaco, the Prince's Palace, has been chosen for this Saturday Night Fight, and it seems all but one could make it.. but that's alright! It doesn't stop the drama, nor will it stop the show. With a re-written plan, the fighters will be thrust out once again to beat each others heads in! It will be like many other .. but the crowd that has gathered about, cars here and there on the outside.. it seems somewhat normal.
But that's completely false, because they're fighting .. at the Palace! Anything is a weapon, and anything goes. Mostly.
Sitting on the edges include the Prince himself, as well as some other high dignitaries that had taken the time to come down to watch this fight, as well as check on their foreign bank accounts on this perfect paradise!
And of course, holding a megaphone, the Prince of Monaco rises, the area shussing.. as he speaks. "THIS SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHT SHALL BE GOOD .. for I , the Prince of Monaco, and hosting!" He cries out, turning around. "I have placed around the area .. nothing. But my estate shall be the weapon. The trees, the cars, and the posts about. Everything shall be fair game, as long as it pleases me .. however, if I am displeased..... I do not expect such a thing."
He is SERIOUS.
"YOU MAY BEGIN WHEN READY." And listening to that, the Amazon walks from where she was resting on the hood of a car, the blue outfit seemingly perfect for the weather, at least, as she lacks any really covering aspect over her arms or legs.. or stomach, as well. There's alot of bare skin, and walking forwards, she glances around for the others.
Hmm!
Monaco is probably one of the many places Rylee ever expected to visit in her lifetime. She is not rich by far and this place is full of aristocrats all over the place. This makes Rylee stand out even more so than normal when it is usually just her height that would make her easy to pick out of the crowd. While all the spectators are very well to do and dressed in lavish clothing the wrestler is in a pair of jean shorts and a white tanktop as she wraps up her hands.
Not only that it seems the fight has been changed up some as well given the fact that Rylee's partner for the fight was a no show. No info was given to the redhead aside the fact that she is now teaming with one of her would be opponents. After taping up her hands the wrestler gets to her feet and steps forward to the area designated for the fight and she raises an arm while she turns about to look over the crowd before she looks over towards Diana with a raised brow. "Well this is new. Not used to fighting a woman my size." she says and smirks while cracking her knuckles. "Lets make this a fun fight, eh?"
How would the prince of Monaco care for women combatants? Were women given positions of prestige in this country? This was a question that wouldn't likely find itself on the camera's of Saturday Night Fight, because lets face it, this was about ratings, fan service and fighting. Where did Kai Gabriel land in this? She was one who hadn't been in the spotlight for some time, she was relatively unknown but those that did know her typically didn't like her. Far to.. weird.
The Crusader of light is, in contrast to the amazon, dressed conservatively. Politely poised, she ways for the prince to finish speaking, giving him a deep and respectful bow, and then one to Diana, though considerably less deep and respectful. The hard green eyes in Gabriel's head show the disapproval toward her opponent that her expression otherwise hides behind polite calm. She looks ready , but in a very considerably laid back sort of way. Strict posture, but no tension, she had the kind of calm right now it might take a lifetime to build, but would she be able to maintain it..?

It doesn't take long for the rest of the warriors to arrive, at least.. as Rylee is dressed in .. jeans and a tanktop. That's rather odd, she notes. But it's far from bothering to her. Let her dress as she wishes. Meanwhile, turning to face the crusader of light.. dressed in a vest and such. Very .. different members working together, she notes.
She takes in each of them in respect, gazing at each momentarily, taking in .. something. She can already pinpoint then .. the one with denim shorts will come right at her .. and Gabriel might hang back.
It influences her first choice. But turning to the voice, Diana looks to Rylee, the crowd beginning to cheer for blood. Smirking as Rylee speaks about such a thing, she nods, seeming to agree before turning to see the Crusader .. bow. She waves it off, and then steps a bit backwards. "I guess we shall begin then." And whipping her arm out, she's suddenly in a stance, facing both of the two with her rapier held up, a butterfly guard about the handle... one leg forwards, facing them, and the sword out in front.
And then she leaps into the tree.
The branch bends, before sending her skywards a bit.. but it's certainly not hard to tell where she's coming, or how she's going to land, as the butterfly of NESTS lands just behind Gabriel from the arc.. and perhaps, with a mark in Gabriel as well, the rapier moving with the momentum.. towards her frame.
%Given the wrestlers style jeans and a tank top is often the best thing to work with for the high flying moves that she often uses. Dressing in something like what Diana has on would be out of the question unless Rylee wanted a broken leg or the like. Not only that she could give two tugs about what people think about how she dresses. All that matters is getting the fans into the fight and impressing the Price of Monaco.
A brow does raise again when Diana pulls out the rapier and that look of confusion turns into a bit of a grimace. Lovely, good thing she isn't wearing anything fancy given what her opponent is using. She is going to be very careful this fight since she rather not get cut. Once Diana moves into action, the wrestler decides to get moving as well. A few long strides closes the distance between her and Diana as she leaps upwards and takes to the air as she swings a leg upwards to connect with the back of the other amazon's head. "Kyaaah!"

The crusader of light brings her arms up and lets the impact absorb into her forearms, bracing her foot, she digs in and skids back a little. When all is said and done she lowers her arm and has it seems just one question for her opponent.
. . . silence. Well that was cliche, but despite the lack of drama in the first attack, the self proclaimed crusader retains a stoic blank expression and strict stance still devoid of tension.
A hand lifts into the air and she attempts to snatch it around the wrist of Diana before she can get too far away. A grunt and a turn which would result in a throw, putting her weight behind it, if Diana is slow enough.

Upon landing, she can feel the impact already.. it wasn't a direct shot. That somewhat bothers her .. but it really shouldn't, should it? The strike causes the rapier to bounce a bit, back and forth from the force. But Gabriel suddenly turns, trying to snatch her wrist, which she needs, before trying to be tossed away.
Her left arm is snatched, clenching.. pulling herself away while her arm is wrenched. And then Rylee comes in. She can't turn around in time, she realizes, and the call is right there. Right on top of her.
Her right arm raises, the blade put downwards into the oncoming strike of Rylee, and the wrestler's leg impacts the blade, causing it to bend. It also stops the strike, which Diana is rather happy about.
Dashing away from Gabriel, Diana uses the force of the bending blade to cut under Rylee before she falls.. bringing the blade under her heavily in a full, and wide sweep.. before leaping backwards, coming to rest on two of the poles in the battlefield, a foot on each as she extends the rapier towards them.
"A nice start.. could be better."
That foot connects hard .....against a sword. At first Rylee thought she connected, but there was too much give and the wrestler finally notices that Diana is more than quick enough to deflect her strike and in the end it is Rylee who is coming away from this one when that rather painful slash comes across her. The redhead lets out a rather loud yell when she lands and rolls about for a few moments to try and shake off the pain and get the adrenaline pumping.
She does eventually get to her feet, but she is favoring her side that was struck while she narrows her eyes. So they want to get rough do they? Rylee is going to more than happily oblige then when she shakes off the pain enough to hobble a bit towards Diana while aiming a knee right towards the fencer in the gut.
And Diana is off, away from Gabriel toward Rylee whom is perhaps into some trouble now. The self proclaimed crusader takes a moment and simply broods, her expression darkening with every step the amazon takes. Whatever clouds her mind is once again left to silent comment as Gabriel doesn't move, lowering her stance and possibly even her guard by the smallest margins to just watch Diana's movements, her face perhaps a little grim as she does so.
There wasn't anything she could do for her teammate, or maybe there was, just nothing she was going to do for her teammate, besides, initially she was supposed to team up with the amazon. Once again, there isn't any comment, only actions seem to speak of the thoughts going through her head while green gems in her head peer over the fighting area in in silent brooding.
The crowd meanwhile have what they want, there is action, excitement and adventure, just in a different place. The other combatants garner a great response while the self proclaimed crusader slowly becomes forgotten, for now.

As Rylee gets to her feet, Diana surveys the battlefield. Rylee is coming forth, and there is Gabriel, who is staying back and .. oh that's bothering. She can notice she's totally focused on her every move, on her every action. On her every motion. Bothersome, it seems.
But Rylee gives her the boost she needs to take advantage of the situation. The Amazon waits, and as Rylee aims a knee towards the fencer's gut, Diana again brings the blade forwards as she leaps over.. heading towards Gabriel. But it's not a normal way, no.
The rapier impacts with the knee.. and Rylee's strike is strong enough to cause her to be launched over, safely, and flipping towards Gabriel.. before a slightly curved dagger is sent spiralling at Gabriel, the Amazon landing on a car with a slight 'crunch' of the force she was moving at. Nothing was broken. It was just a hard landing .. there is a dent.
That dagger, however, is rather weighted, and thrown with such force.. oh, well.
Gabriel will notice.
Once again the strike lands, but not how Rylee would want it to. If she was fighting the sword she would be doing rather well. Unfortunantly the target is the owner of that sword and Rylee has yet to be able to even touch the other amazon. Not only that it seems Gabriel has decided not to help her team mate and has disappeared. Diana seems to catch sight of Gabriel before the wrestler does, but then again Rylee is more focused on just trying to catch the fencer.
She lets out a light 'tch' and shakes her head. She needs to get back into this fight and actually put the hurt on Diana. That is why she trundles forward once again while lowering her shoulder to plant it into the small of Diana's back while arms seek to wrap around the other woman's waist before hefting her upwards and then the wrestler arches her back while using the momentum to perform a release german suplex that would toss the fencer away and drop her on her head.

A dagger? Gabriel was totally not expecting to get hit by that, but low and behold, she gets hit by it, straight on and finds herself staggered a few steps. The expression on her face, one of mild surprise clearly shown on her face along with.. blood? A little. She is wearing silk too. The look on her face is one of mild strain, but despite being hit full on with a knife, having a lot of distance to cover, Gabriel decides to go the distance, charging up toward Diana and ending with a backflip, trying to catch the amazon's neck with her thighs. Boys dig it.
"Confess-!" exclaims Gabriel as she tries to grab Diana, tries to flip her around and tries to drive her into the ground.
The anger meanwhile seems to have bled away rather quickly and once again Gabriel maintains a stoic calm.

As Gabriel's guard is put up.. the dagger does as it is expected. It drills through the defense, especially with the flick she put on her wrist with it. And that's quite lucky. Especially when Gabriel suddenly charges towards her .. much like she had done before.
But the grab is prevented with her arm coming up, battling with her again over control of her own body. "Hey .. let go... I've got nothing to confess, I'm just helping make the world a better place!" She tosses Gabriel away finally after the struggle on the car.
And then would you look at that. Rylee is already coming back, and she can't see her until it's too late. "Wha-" And then the shoulder slams into her, her body wrapped about .. before she's hefted upwards, and launches the fencer away, dropping her on her head. Collapse, she does.. hitting a bit harder than she plans, but it's not too bad. She shakes herself off, and holds the blade out .. before dashing at Rylee again. "Well.. you did earn this." She matter-of-factly states.. as she suddenly blurs.
And appears in the air, infront of Rylee. The blade swings rather hard, and slowly.. but it's not the blade Rylee should worry about. It's the chi that erupts from the ground behind her, in arcs, sliding towards Rylee like a wave. The silvery blue chi attempts to drive her straight into the slow but heavy swipe.. before the fencer once more leaps away.
It's a bit early though, isn't it?

The fight is certainly taking its toll on the wrestler rather quickly. Rylee is already breathing rather heavily as she gets back to her feet once she tosses Diana away. She is grinning quite a bit though as she finally gets up fully while looking at the other fighter. "Give me all you got...." the wrestler says while raising her and she motions to the other amazon to bring it on with her hands.
Even as Diana dashes in Rylee makes no attempt to get out of the way. She is prepared to take the brunt of the blow from the strike when she raises her arms. Her mistake is thinking it was just a simple sword strike. Instead it is a rather large swath of chi that ends up barreling into Rylee and knocking her down to the ground and onto her back where she lays there for a moment.
She is down for only a few brief moments before legs kick into the air and Rylee kips back up to her feet rather woozily. She shakes her head and tries to get the cobwebs shaken before she turns her attention back to the other amazon. That is when the wrestler gives a rather devilish grin and she turns to take a few steps forward and then she twists about while launching herself forward to deliver a punishing roundhouse right to Diana's face.
The fight certainly seems to be taking it's toll on the wrestler, while the crusader is left to linger for a moment. A breath is hardly something she doesn't want, but taking a break isn't going to win this fight. Gabriel narrows her eyes, reaches into her sash and pulls out a shard of glass. Apparently she had been keeping this, but now, the shard which actually appears to be quite large will function as a dagger. With both hands over her head the crusader of light rears back and hurls the dagger of glass at Diana, ignoring the response to her attempt to getting the scantily glad woman to confess her sins.
But this isn't all, the crusader of light also has herself prepared for it seems a counter attack, not advancing, but keeping herself planted and lowering her stance completely in preparation for Diana.

It looks like the Canadian is more than ready to bring some payback down ono Diana as that hell smashes hard across the fencer's face to knock her off guard. Rylee then ducks low to put Diana up across her shoulder in a fireman's carry as she begins spinning about to make Diana probably as dizzy as the redhead is feeling right now. At this point the added dizzy feeling isn't too much compared to what is about to happen to the other fighter. After about ten quick twirls about Rylee throws the fencer into the air to let her come crashing down on the ground. Of course Rylee offers some help when she slings a leg up high and brings the heel down on the back of Diana's head on her way down to give a little nudge to send her to the ground faster.
As Gabriel grabs the shard.. and then hurls the dagger of glass at Diana, the Amazon finds it rather easy to simply leap out of the way .. taking her time to drive herself to the side, and leaping back..letting the object fly over her head.
At the same time, however, Rylee comes towards her .. attempting to strike Diana in the face. Needless to say, her luck finally turns on her. The fist is the beginning of a large amount of twirls.. before she's crashed down.. and then the heel is brought at the back of her head.. a nudge to send her to the ground.
It's a taken assault, that's for sure.. but as Rylee sends the Amazon crashing.. she might not expect the sudden reprisal. She doesn't even leap up as she twists, thrusting the rapier towards Rylee as deep as it will go towards the girls chest, to drive it as far as the darn thing will allow.
Payback or not .. she's trying to just dust her hands of Rylee.

The offered reprisal is something that was unexpected. Rylee is not really prepared to get out of the way from the strike that is lashed out at her. At this point the adrenaline is running high and the redhead is pretty much acting on instinct. She twists enough that she isn't impaled by the sword fully though it does gash her unblemished side pretty good to make it match the already bloodied side.
Diana finds the arm with the sword gripped by two hands now and the Canadian grins down at the other fighter. "If anything they better damn be happy about this performance or I think we pay the prince a visit. What do you think?" she asks though she doesn't give time for Diana to answer since she yanks the fencer up onto her shoulders once again. Thankfully there is no spinning, though there is another toss into the air and instead of a heel to the back of the head Diana meets a knee to the chin on her way down this time around.
Once again she is ignored. Mild irritation flits across the crusaders face as she regards her opponent and then decides to move, regardless of how close they are together. Gabriel decides she can risk hitting a teammate if it means nailing her opponent. She makes a run at Diana, twists and then unwinds like a spring, throwing a back handed strike toward her face, open handed, but less a slap since her knuckles seem to be the point behind the attack. The momentum meanwhile carries her through and seems to be leaving her more or less in a neutral stance, a ready stance.

Driven to the ground again, the sword is gripped, even as it strikes. The Amazon is wordless as she's yanked into the air onto shoulders, and then tossed into the air, a knee to her chin before she lands on her feet, shaking her head to Rylee. She takes a breath and sighs, looking towards the Prince, before waving a hand infront of her.
"I think you have forgotten the point of this exercise." The amazon clearly states, putting the blade to the side of her and pointing away. She doesn't even raise it at Rylee. "You've forgotten.. one moment." Gabriel comes towards her, the running warriors twisting and unwinding like a spring, throwing the back handed strike at her. Open, perhaps.. but Diana attempts to simply remove herself from the path of the assault.. kicking off the ground and then the tree, springing forwards to land infront of Rylee. "No .. you see, you've forgotten.. you were also supposed to use the environment." The blade suddenly shoots towards Rylee's middle section, attempting to just remove the girl from her trouble now, and forever.
At least for this SNF. "Do did show spunk, though."

It seems like the blood loss might just be getting too much for Rylee. Even with her on a fighting high it just might not be enough to keep her going. The gas is starting to drain from her and how shakey her stance in shows that she is close to empty. She just doesn't have enough in her to keep moving about quickly so she just goes with what she thinks may work.
Those long arms of the redhead reach to try to grip around the arm that lashes out the sword at her. The strike comes alot quicker than she expected though and that sword sinks into the wrestler's stomach once again. She winces sharply and she bites down hard on her lip to not cry out in pain. Slumping back she holds her stomach and seems to be staying down. It takes a few moments, but when it looks like Rylee isn't getting up a few officials drag her off to the side to treat her wounds and let the fight go on without a body laying out in the middle of things.
Rylee's fall is met with a look of indifference from the crusader of light. Gabriel merely steps back and watches Diana, looking more or less ready and giving her a motion with her fingers to come on. The difference in energy left between the two is surely something to note, but worse yet, the crusader of light hasn't had to deal with a great deal of abuse coming her way. Gabriel narrows her eyes, but doesn't attack, not yet, she just waits.
"Finish this.." She states in an monotone voice, not exactly cold but quite empty and perhaps polite in the most mocking of mannes way possible.

With Rylee trying to grip the arm, the fencer had already seen this happen twice. She wasn't too keen on seeing it a third time, and as the sword sinks in, watching as Rylee collapses. "Well.. actually, the ground is part of the environment, and I've met that quite a bit today, haven't I?" The fencer remarks, twisting the blade around back and forth, before turning to her other opponent.. Gabriel. How unfortunate, honestly... that she gets a mark from Gabriel to tell her to come on. But shaking her head, she looks straight upon Gabriel. "I'll be there in a moment, deary."
The blood loss is quite noticeable, but Diana isn't ready to just jump into the fray yet.. not with the marking of blood about her, the bruises, and the amount of effort it took to take out Rylee in the end. What a spunky girl! More trouble than that Zaki one .. to a point.
She was quite something compared to what she expected.
Pointing the blade out to Gabriel she takes a few breathes.. and then falls to her beliefs. Well then. She should continue on, shouldn't she? Running towards Gabriel, the Amazon attempts something she tried before.. almost blurring as she lands near Gabriel.. kicks into the air .. and then launches towards her with both booted feet, attempting to knock her right down!
it's risky, but it certainly might work.

It was possible to be too overconfident. That was exactly how Gabriel was acting as the kick comes right in to her head and she is knocked backward off of her feet. The self proclaimed crusader is down, but not out. She picks herself off the ground almost as soon as she is knocked down, narrowing her eyes and preparing something with her hand, and then, without warning she sends a palm thrust full of bursting purply chi at Diana's head and gives a command at her of,
"Repent!" this being a command, not a request. The speed at least should be something to speak of here.

As Gabriel is smacked off her feet, Diana watches.. this was unexpected, certainly.. but it's not as if she would argue against the results of something such as that. As Gabriel picks herself off the ground quickly, narrowing her eyes and preparing her hand .. the burst of purple chi erupts towards her head. Diana, meanwhile, doesn't slow her assault.. not much, at least, as the palm thrust of chi sends her towards the building, sliding against the ground as the Amazon's arms hold up against it.. before Diana runs towards Gabriel, blade flashing out once more. She's going to have to get used it it, honestly.
Diana suddenly blurs once more as she slides in, attempting to 'end' this fight in the way she began it, the blade flashing as it goes towards the midsection, a wide and heavy swipe designed to try to cleave across Gabriel's middle.
Meanwhile.. she'll be on the otherside of Gabriel, lest something stop her progress. "I already said .. I'm doing something already for the good of the world."

This is the part where Gabriel stops being polite, and starts getting real.. Real mean that is. Diana manages to hammer her once again and even tries to talk to her. As Gabriel is knocked head over heels back, she collides with a car, and leaves a dent in the side. Blood runs down her face between her nose and over her lips. The self proclaimed crusader stops to be as she loses her composure and seems now to grow quite angry as her guard has been twice broken with brutal efficiency.
Gabriel reaches into window of the car she just hit and pulls out a shard from the window, breaking it with her fingers carefully pulls out a long shard of glass, about the length of her forearm.
"Ths is it!" Cries Gabriel and darts off in a fury of slashes,
"DIE!
COMBATSYS: Diana counters Avenging Angel from Gabriel with Ultimatum.

As Gabriel is knocked head over heels, bloody and pained, Diana watches as she stops.. and just grows rather angry. Meanwhile, Diana has to take this moment to focus. Gabriel seems to be willing to do what it takes to get to her.. and the scientist is going to have to do the same to protect herself.
As the shard from the window is brought outwards.. it's broken to make a sword. A sword of glass.. that would sting more than a slight bit, and the length of it .. she can't afford to be struck.
Holding out the rapier, Diana begins to wait for Gabriel to come forwards.. the blade swished back and forth as she focuses, waiting. Almost.. almost.. THERE! the fury of slashes meets the tip of the blade over and over, the strikes providing a nice dramatic climax scene. Tapping against the tip of the blade over and over, she slides this way and that way when unable to stop the assault. She's pressed up against the wall. At the strongest slice, Diana lunges forwards. This is it. The rapier catches the glass blade..
And then slides past, the researcher moving with it, the blade digging into Gabriel once .. then twice on the return swing as she moves past Gabriel, sliding away from her and then throwing the blade into the ground.
"Nice try you two..." The Amazon comments, "It was a pretty good workout though. I needed it."
She's certain it's over? She's on edge still.. but she had watched Gabriel literately run herself into the ground.
She does not expect much.
"Sil...SILENCE!" Cries Gabriel, giving one last enraged push at Diana. It's clear that there is no love lost here, the once stoic and calm face, now bloody and bruised is a mask of rage and fury. Having little left, and her shard of glass now broken from the strikes that Diana sends her way with the real rapier against glass, her hand rather cut too, Gabriel summons fourth a new sword, out of chi. Flickering to life it seems not to have much time, enough for one final slash.
With a baleful howl Gabriel slashes the blade before twisting her ankle on the way down and collapsing, obviously having over done herself while injured and forced to remain on the ground from there out while the medics deal with her.

As Gabriel yells to silence, Diana laughs, shaking her head. "No thanks deary. I think you should just give up." She mocks slightly. "Probably best for you.." And than that's when Gabriel brings a sword of chi forwards.. a final slash coming around. As a fencer, she can only see it, almost taste it. And it comes. "Ah hell!" She bites her tongue as the blade of chi rips into her backside, sending her stumbling forwards as Gabriel collapses to the ground. The sword drives in far deeper than it should, the NESTS employee having done the worst thing. Turning her back on the opponent. It's over, isn't it?..
Diana waits.. wincing, blood coming from her un-covered back.. and .. nothing? Standing slowly up, barely able to stay on her feet, Diana looks around.
Igniz would rather enjoy this news. The Amazon grins, before looks down to Gabriel. "Guess you do have some skill after all." Well, she was hard to take down .. that's quite for sure. But in the end, it looks like Diana's still standing.
Yanking the blade up, she slides it under the skirt again, before turning to the Prince.. covered in blood, bruises, and her hair, the worst part, is mussed from sweat and the ground dirt. She bows.
"AND I DECLARE THIS SNF, WHILE DIFFERENT, TO BE OVER! The Prince .. IS MOST PLEASED BY THE EFFORTS OF THEM ALL. It has been quite the battle.. Hahaha I am most pleased!"
Looks like Rylee doesn't have to choke a Prince after all. And it looks like Diana came out on top.. this time at least.
