Description: Rylee and Aranha make their first team debut against Ryuhaku Todoh and still haven't come up with a name for it yet. The fight venue seems like a dream set up for the both of them but there's a catch. Todoh gets to set traps before the fight. Will Rylee's team fall flat on its face or will Todoh's traps once again prove that he is own worst enemy? (Winners: Rylee and Aranha)
Never give Ryuhaku Todoh the full run of things. Never mind he's the sort of guy to go and do something even when you don't. Just telling him he can means he's going to milk it for all it's worth!! But at least from the outside, things are clean. Nice. Well, about as clean and nice as any arena made for vicious fighting can honestly get. Fighting is not a squeaky clean happy scrubby bubble sport! But it can be bouncy fun fun fun fun fun, even if you're not a Tigger and you wouldn't be the only one who isn't.
A specialized arena built somewhere in Metro City that typically does not get the same sort of draw that the venerable SlamMasters Arena does, it's not just a simple canvas. It's a trampoline! A good, sturdy one, a searing bright blue with the logo of its rather obscure manufacturer that also appears to be responsible for those oversized turnbuckles that extend oh so very high above what one would typically expect them to (also covered in that terrible /blue/, seriously it's blue, so very very blue), leading up to a network of catwalks that allow for potentially interesting strikes from above.
In other words, Aranha and Rylee are pretty much perfectly at home with this environment. It's as if this very place was designed completely for their own benefit and ease of use against an opponent, that... well... if his numerous appearances in Saturday Night Fight mean anything... is not.
But he is proving elusive, which is about the only thing you can say about him. Spotlights sweep the arena while the announcer goes about the typical announcing business with an indeterminate accent it's really hard for anybody to tell what the hell they are saying. And lo and behold, Ryuhaku Todoh is pretty much nowhere to be seen. Typical...
...maybe he's late.
It isn't so often that a match like this falls into Rylee's lap. A match that caters to her style and on top of that being teamed with someone she is actually familiar with. It isn't like Rylee and Aranha had officially announced their team to anyone. Hell, they don't even have a name yet nor has Rylee met a few of the possible prospects that are wanting to join up. So to be teamed up with him like this is both strange, but relieving at the same time.
Of course there is always a catch. That catch is that they will be going up against one of the most infamous fighters around in Ryuhaku Todoh. A man that supposedly can only be seen when he wants to be seen. Not only that apparently he is going to have plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Enough that the redhead is already sort of inspecting things as she moves about to look over the setup for the fight. "Well this is going to be a wild one..." she finally says while giving a bit of a shake of her head.
There's another reason that Aranha would be more at home than Todoh and quite possibly his own team mate. He's a native of Metro City and when he's in wrestling ring type environment in Metro, he has to show his Metro City pride.
He's known for showing his pride in the form of what has become his unofficial theme song. The sound of the system pipes through, though one can tell that this arena's sound quality is nowhere near SlamMasters's Arena's audio. The sounds of the opening to "Welcome to Metro City" by Cam'ron, Jay Z and Juelz Santana(Rylee's probably going to want to talk to him about his taste in music) begins playing as a spotlight shines down on Aranha who is standing on the highest catwalk. There's a heroic pose for a moment before he decides to take advantage of the bouncy surface by going into a swan dive from above before curling into a ball just before landing bouncing and then landing on his feet right next to Rylee.
The music cuts off and Aranha turns to her with a big grin. "This is our first time as a team. Let's give 'em hell."

The trampoline is perfectly bouncy and also blue, but as is important in regards to Aranha's bouncing around, is very bouncy indeed. So bouncy that the trampoline canvas dips low enough to hit an obstruction, which is really strange. Any trampoline of that size should be dipping a bit lower than that. IS IT A TRAP?!
For the more observant among the two, if there is any appreciable difference in attentiveness between them, something moves. A loud cry is muffled by equally muffled announcing before a figure all but throws themselves out from where there really should not be anybody.
"YOU KIDS THINK IT'S FUNNY TO JUMP ON AN OLD MAN TRYING TO CATCH A NAP?!" The hair. The headband. That red vest-like garment. Those crazy oversized Japanese trousers. The socks! Also, a bloody nose. It's him! He's already pissed off, judging by, I don't know, the sheer MURDER in his eyes and those sagging eyebrows. "Oooooh, you're gonna get i--"
Interrupted by the bewildered and loud crowds and an announcer that won't shut up but yet doesn't give anything like a clear idea of what they're /saying/, the terrible truth dawns upon him... he almost overslept! The angry tirade ends in a 'harrumph' as he sluggishly puts himself into the ring, on a bright blue trampoline just waiting to be exploited by the dynamic duo he is facing. The bell would ring pretty much just as the other two would go in and take their place, whenever that is.
Man, getting into a scheduled match right as you wake up. That's rough. But you know, too bad, time and space can't always accommodate him no matter how often he seems to break it.

Perhaps after this fight Rylee really will have to talk to Aranha about his choice of music, but given what she listens to it is perhaps nothing she should be bothering him about. Either way the time to fight is approaching and the opponent is still not in sight as the Canadian looks about wondering where he could come from before her gaze turns to Aranha. Flashing a rather big grin she nods. "Of course. Don't want people to think of us as a joke right off the bat."
With that being said the Canadian wiggles her way out of the cumbersome hoodie she was wearing and tosses it off aside leaving her in the skin tight mesh shirt under it as she gives her shoulders a roll and and starts stretching to get herself limber for all the jumping and high flying that is about to go on.
Her idle thoughts of where the hell Todoh is are quickly answered at the rather loud declaration from the older fighter as he climbs out from where he was hiding. The redhead just stares for a few moments then looks at Aranha briefly before looking back at Todoh. "Seriously....you know they pay for hotel rooms if you ask, right?" She doesn't say much else really since it seems like the officials are ready to start things off given that Todoh finally showed up.
With things underway the Canadian is more than ready to start things off and she bounces lightly on the trampoline and use the building momentum to launch herself forward at a rather high speed towards Todoh. She is starting out with nothing really fancy at the moment, but sticking with the basics as she brings forward a knee with the intent on slamming it right into Todoh's breadbasket.
Aranha is the fighter who lives and dies by his ability to observe more than the average fighter let alone an average person. As a result Aranha sees something strange right off the bat. In fact Aranha gets this exact message. CSYS: You notice something odd about the trampoline.
Unfortunately he doesn't get much time to figure out what's so odd because Todoh suddenly makes his presence known and gives their team a piece of his mind. Aranha smiles seeming to publically bear it with an odd serenity, "Or if you weren't feeling like you shouldn't trouble them there's also the locker room."
Aranha begins to bounce like Tigger on crack before bouncing on the trampoline and flipping into the air to perform a head stomp on Todoh. "Yeeeow!"
Meanwhile he's thinking about he's going to let SNF staff have a piece of his mind since they had assured him that Todoh wasn't below the trampoline before the match.

Hotels and locker rooms are beneath Ryuhaku Todoh! This is a man who has absolutely no issue being wherever he wants, doing whatever he wants. Fortunately for the world at large, such compulsions and apparent delusions have not crossed into anything dangerous on the world scale. But you never know if he'll one day decide to celebrate Earth day by turning off one of the cooling generators of a nuclear reactor because he feels the control room is too cold. (Old men are the cause of all trouble on this planet Earth, it's true.)
And to all this advice, he lazily handwaves the suggestions in dismissal with a low tired-and-don't-want-to-be-bothered groan, seemingly treating the trampoline more like a regular canvas while his opponents are bouncing around. His balance, naturally, falters when they bounce against it, forcing him to a crouch when Rylee leaps at him with her terrible Super Tall Lady Knee which is met with him almost as lazily bringing up a hand to block it from smashing his face due to his crouching position! He more or less succeeds except it gets him in the wrist and leaves a bit of a sting. At pretty much the same time, the opposite hand rises up to catch the source of that sudden shade he notices around him, absorbing the shock through the arm to let Aranha bounce off his hand with little more than another 'ow, that kind of hurt' handwave in steadying himself, staggering a bit towards the center. He clears his throat very loudly. Does the man have a mic on him somewhere, or...?
"Well then! If you are so /inclined/ to know my morning routine," it's early evening, "where do I begin, hm hm," he absentmindedly hops a bit at the center of the trampoline to test it before taking his own leap into the air with a certain awkwardness that the other two do not express in using the same, "usually LIKE TEN THOUSAND OF THESE THINGS!!"
His arms go up. Is he grabbing for a catwalk?! The spotlights can make it hard to discern unless the two of them are used to the glare as an amazing(?) formation of blocky yellowish-orangeish chi puts its own tint onto the light underneath it. So many fighters pattern their chi after things like, say, flowers or water or some crap. Todoh is above such things!
His palms all but slam into the catwalk, which cuts the formation a bit early and doesn't let him naturally guide it down like he usually does. But, gravity is more than willing to take over for this HORRIFYINGLY(?) POWERFUL(?) CHI CONSTRUCT as it descends gently YET DANGEROUSLY down towards the Dancing Spider below before dissipating into the aether.
The Canadian lands awkwardly on a foot when her knee is handled with quite a bit of ease from the venerable(AHAHAHAHA) fighter. She hops back a few times on the trampoline then her other foot comes down and she finally regains her balance. It doesn't look like Aranha has much luck as well in his attack and it looks like the ire of the Todoh is focused on her partner for the time being.
Now it is time to also see the Todoh in action as he goes on the attack and takes to the air. While his attention is focused on Aranha the Canadian decides to move forward and get under Todoh on his way back down, her long arms reaching out to grasp him before he can land and then lean backwards in a quick release suplex to send the elder fighter across the fighting area as she bounces off the trampoline and lands back on her feet if all ends well, but who knows if that can happen when a Todoh is involved.

Aranha lets out a grunt as he bounces up off of Todoh's hand and leaps up away to put some distance between Ryuhaku and himself. Unfortunately Aranha hits the trampoline as Todoh comes down from his leap and it puts Aranha in the direct path Todoh's Kasane Ate.
Aranha tries to twist out of the way but his efforts are only partially rewarded. Instead of getting his block knocked off by the chi formation, Aranha tilts just enough that his shoulder gets grazed by the energy. And if getting grazed hurts that much, he'd hate to feel it full force.
In spite of getting knocked around in the air. Aranha manages to swing his body around so that he lands on his feet and then he bounces up onto the ring post clutching onto it while swinging a single arm out and whipping a blue chi spider web right at Todoh... Time to find out what the spider web will do this time.

"Aargh!" The elder man's hands flail as he grabs for where he wants to go and, well, doesn't quite get a grip, right into the waiting hands of a woman of curiously large size suplexes him against the canvas, across the arena, smacks up against a turnbuckle (remember when Maxima came down onto a canvas so hard Todoh bounced off some ropes and slammed down a turnbuckle? We'll rate that impact 0.4 Maximas), back against the arena, and manages to hit the center of the trampoline as such he is airborne again.
Aranha ends up playing overachiever. The web that strikes the older of the two fighting Todohs seems to envelop him to the point he's a large ball of Old and also blue sticky chi that, nonetheless, dissipates in time as he awkwardly tumbles along into the air until he can properly grab a catwalk with a single hand.
Now... they keep pitting this man against younger, less experienced fighters all the time with often disastrous results on his part. What makes this man worthy of being a fighter of apparently high calibur when manhandled and chihandled like he is?! He runs through his hair with his free hand and finds that some of the spider web chi still sticks to it! It's like gum. Ryuhaku growls under his throat as he hoists himself up onto the catwalk.
"So I'm being nice to you!" Lies! "Letting you show off for the crowd, yes, playing to your tiny little INFLATED EGOS!" Or his own. "Yeh hah hah hah haaah! Let's see how you do when I do... this!!"
He grabs a previously unseen cable, clear in color, and pulls it down. The catwalk's support on one side, at least the one he's standing on, suddenly tilts over. Watermelons fall from an unseen source, but strangely, a majority of them seem to be tumbling in Rylee's direction...?
Dangling by this cable, Todoh is nonplussed. He put more of them in there!! He starts to climb up to see what's wrong, but then the cable snaps and the rest of the watermelons fall in a terrible torrent of wasted food that floods the entire arena. World hunger is a serious problem, you know! This isn't helping any!!
Well, at least the three of them can enjoy melons at dangerous speeds. Take your pick, there's a ton of them to choose from whether you want concessions or concussions or even both!

Of all the fruits in the world to fall on her why does it have to be one of her least favorite foods ever? It is perhaps the panic of seeing those giant evil creations of fruitiness that the wrestler goes into a panic and she does her damndest to bounce off the trampoline and away from the falling food. That plan doesn't work at all though since one of the watermelons land right on her head and shatters all over her and leaving her covered in that mess while more fall around her and soon bury the wrestler.
The pile that covers Rylee remains motionless only for a moment before a hand breaks free and flails wildly as she tries to knock things away so she can climb free. "Son of a bitch!" she sputters and and tries to get the bits of watermelon out of her hair. She doesn't look like a happy camper either way as she bounces forward across the trampoline in an attempt to jump on Todoh's back wrap her legs around the waist of the elder fighter while attempting to wrestle his arm to be entagled with her own and tug on it with force that feels like it might come out of socket if she keeps it up for too long.

That was the second time Aranha's chi web actually stuck to his opponent. It was the second time it happened on live TV. That was the thing about Aranha's Web Shot. It was a fairly strong attack but it was oddly enough one of his less predictable. Seeing that it not only get sticky, but the fact that it actually stuck for a longer period of time than in the case of Blanka, is quite a surprise to him. He hides it though. He knows that a certain thief is watching him just as he's watching her and he doesn't want to let his shock show.
Aranha's eyes pick up on that transparent cable just as Todoh reaches for it but then Aranha reacts launching himself the turnbuckle just as the watermelons descend upon him. He Bounces and twists bouncing to and fro as he dodges watermelons coming for him but then Aranha snags a melon from the air as he descends on Todoh words audible right before he attempts to slam dunk a watermelon on his. "Trying to perpetuate a stereotype by forcing me to eat watermelons huh?"
Way to go Aranha, you're perpetuating another stereotype as well.

Watermelons for everyone involved!! Large, juicy, messy, and altogether funny to smash with a sledgehammer. Too bad none of the people involved here are notably proficient with one. But that's really all too bad.
Todoh descends into the madness with a yell as he, too, falls prey to his own trap and disappears into the sea of falling watermelons. How many /did/ he buy just for this, anyway? Either way, he proves a little hard to pick out under the mess.
Rylee does not have nearly as much success as Naerose and Maki at seeing through any of his ruses as she grabs onto something that matches the general weight and dimensions of Ryuhaku, yes, but as she wrestles with him it turns out... that's not him. She has somehow managed to find a GIANT MUTANT WATERMELON with a black wig and headband on. She pulls off what passes for an arm on that thing with ease, splattering fruit gore everywhere. And then Aranha slam dunks a watermelon onto it. It's pretty metal. There's no need to describe Aranha's slam dunk any further than that. Gallagher has a lot to live up to. But wow, did he actually go so far as to plan /that/ out?
"Yeh hah hah!" A triumphant Ryuhaku Todoh rises from a pile, waving a finger up and down scoldingly. Then a watermelon that's late to the party drops and socks him on the head, splattering all over the place and leaving him with a fancy watermelon helmet. He stops laughing, jerking downward and back up straight to account for something that would typically hospitalize anybody else. He wipes watermelon juice from his eyes with a certain sort of scorn that only an elderly man could muster. He clears his throat again and claps his hands together above his head. It's almost deafening. The clap, that is. Instant attention caller!
"Your just desserts indeed! Yeh hah hah!! Now why don't we get down to the matter of the REST OF THE NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE I DO IN THE MORNING HEEYAAAH!!!"
Arms go up like he's ready to surrender! And maybe he should, this watermelon is tasty and plentiful and why should they fight over melon? It's so good, even the three segments of whatever sort of geometric shape this man finds so fascinating to link together and call a perfectly competent (and astoundingly miraculously awesome) length of chi decides to eat too! See, his power over chi is so great that it has a mind and appetite of its own (lies)! And with the downward sweep of his arms, it is taken as perfect consent for it to dig in as the outmost end descends upon Rylee. It's a stretch for it to reach that far, but then again, there is watermelon /everywhere/.
They're fighting a man who has no qualms about fighting in a children's play pen full of hollow colorful plastic balls. That, or maybe he's been watching Blanka a little too closely lately.

Working on the trampoline is going to be tricky now with all the watermelons that lay scattered across it. That is probably what makes Todoh all that much harder to catch when the amazon tries to capture him in that hold. He gets right out of way leaving Rylee grasping for air. Perhaps she can take some comfort in causing him to back away right into the path of the last falling watermelon. It isn't enough to shut him up though.
With a light tsk the redhead tries to step over some of the fallen fruit and perhaps in doing so leaves her a bit too open to what Todoh does next. Seeing the growing swath of chi about to be thrown her way, Rylee handles it much like the way she usually tries to do. Forward she stumbles, intending to barrel right through the attack and grasp the wiley old man. THat is when she trips on one of the melons and falls right into the Kasane Ate and it knocks her right back into the watermelons in a heap while seeing stars. She'll be okay in a minute....really.
Watermelon chunks are everywhere courtesy of his own watermelon dunk. There's a moment that ARanha loses track of Todoh in the watermelons. Aranha realizes that the watermelon mass has pretty much changed the situation for them environmentally and in order for Aranha too move efficiently he'll have to move slower than what would be ideal for him in a fight.
Carefully Aranha runs atop watermelon after watermelon before attempting to jump over to the turnbuckle before kicking off it to launch himself one extended foot first at Ryuhaku and then in turn trying to leap back to the pole again clinging on to it for dear life. It might be hard with all the watermelon juice flying around.

Falling towards the Kasane Ate is a bad idea in a lot of cases. What would've just been a tip hit in trying to extend its reach as far as he can muster turns into the full MIGHT(?) OF THE TODOH falling upon poor Rylee and hey, now it's back to the watermelon heap for her.
"You have no battling ability! Try again! Yeh hah hah hah!" Ooooh, how he always wanted to say that, grinning so smugly that he's just about ready to fan himself in the celebration and also because it is really hot in here, man, he hates it when the spotlights make an arena so /hot/. But, in mid-madness he cocks an eyebrow. Hmm, quite an agile one, that guy who is not super-tall like the young lady over there is. Running on top of watermelons like it's nothing! Not compelled to move, not compelled to even make any remote attempt to get out of the way, he spreads his feet apart just a little and draws one arm back and one forward. Kasumi had better be watching this! After all the times he's flubbed doing his own take on it---!!
Aranha leaps! In one of the rarest shows of true competence that the elder Todoh seems to ever display, the leg is caught between the two arms and the Dancing Spider is now the Matkissing Spider as he slams him down over his shoulder on top of another intact watermelon with enough force that it'd propel him back up into the air as the manly Todoh himself brings out the fan to smack him and... agh, he loses his grip and lets Aranha take back to the air! Maybe that's why he shouldn't use body slams against a trampoline, huh. Hmph. Further grumbling at this inconvenience preventing him from laying on additional spite and pain is called off on count of maintaining his balance from the ripples of slamming Aranha hard enough onto a trampoline that it puts him back in a favorable environment for him to work with.
But this exchange is hardly what one would consider disadvantageous for him, all things considered.
Being among all these watermelons is making Rylee realize she doesn't want to see another one for a very long time. If she can help it she would probably not want to see the elder Todoh for quite some time as well when she thinks about it. Not only is he obnoxious, but he is pretty skilled to be handling Rylee and Aranha so well. So much for having an impressive debute as a team, but they can turn it around. The old man has to wear down eventually, right?
With a grunt the wrestler starts to climb out of the watermelons once again and she rubs the back of her head just in time to see Todoh deal with her partner in a rather effective manner. She gets back to her feet finally and hopefully while the Todoh is distracted enough so the amazon can get a good start to leap forward and wrap her arm around his neck while carrying him forward to bulldog him facefirst right down onto the mat.
Aranha finds himself practically plucked from mid-air by the older Todoh before being slammed through an intact watermelon and then sent bouncing into the air. While Aranha detested being swung around like that, it put him in an extremely advantageous position. Up into the air and on to the catwalk.
That painful move was a lot to deal with and so he takes sometime to get back to his feet. But then he decides to do something insane. Taking advantage of the incredibly high height Aranha performs a high-risk manuever that Rylee might be familiar with. He flips backwards descending down on the elder Todoh before splashing down on him. Has Aranha lost his mind? Perhaps. Or maybe he's trying to work with Rylee's bulldog attempt.

Yes. Fixate on the melons. Hate your weakness. But not the deliciousness. Rylee makes good on a moment to take back the momentum of the battle as she gets an arm around his neck. She's bigger than he is (even though Ryuhaku Todoh displays the proud martial artist tradition of rather exaggerated musculature to begin with) and seems to have issues with actually getting out of it, but puts up enough of a struggle that it's really hard to do anything. He doesn't wanna move, he doesn't wanna get bulldogged, instead he just uselessly flails a hand with a fan while trying to stay put. It's hell on the neck and back, though, and a struggle that Rylee would appear to be winning...
Why is he so intent on not being held? He's looking up! He perfectly sees what Aranha there is doing with that little head start that Todoh unwittingly gave him. Rylee's not really letting him break free, and as a result... he gets tagged. Aranha splashes on him, the crowd goes nuts, and Todoh disappears into the watermelon mess again, the trampoline bobbing up and down from a show-stealing impact. But yet, Todoh doesn't seem to pop up and out of the mess like he probably should given just how nasty a hit it was - a great unison of teamwork between budding teammates. Did they defeat him? Did they just get themselves their first true victory against the universal fighting world litmus test of future glory?
The announcer yells something hard to understand. They sound about ready to call it in their favor... but wait! An arm comes up out of the watermelon mess. Do you want to know why he wanted to flood the trampoline below with them? So they have more reasons to worry about the watermelons than another clear cable just dangling by one of the overly large turnbuckles. Pulling himself out, Todoh shakes his head and finger in an 'ah ah ah!' gesture and gives it the ol' college try by yanking it as hard as he possibly can while the two of them are relatively close together.
In fact, he pulls himself back closer and closer to the two which would make him easy pickings for any follow-ups, but yet, that cable he's pulling... it's bringing the turnbuckle down, snapping it free from what tethered it to place and turning it into a flying, falling pillar of career ending crushing power. It is not a small turnbuckle. It's big! Long! Thick! And you probably don't want it to fall on top of you! Once it's in free-fall...

Well it didn't work quite how Rylee had planned, but her attempted bulldog at least kept Todoh open enough to allow Aranha to do some damage. The amazon scrambles to her feet once again and she raises a hand and fist pumps towards her team mate. "That's the way to do it. We got this one in the bag." she boasts and perhaps causes things to go downhill for both her and Aranha. Never underestimate a Todoh. This is a lesson the wrestler should learn.
The elder fighter releases yet another of his traps and once again it seems that Rylee is on the butt end of it. This time she sort of underestimates the force of that falling turnbuckle as she intends to just stop it with her bare hands. The result is her getting buried right under it which causes her to let out a rather loud yelp. The silence afterwards is brief though when a rather loud 'Oh screw this!' is yelled out and the amazon frees herself and points towards Todoh. "You're about to get yours old man." she declares and then forward she hops to launch herself forward while slinging a leg forward to slam into Todoh's gut.

"Oh f- " The pillar eliminates any need for the 7 second delay since Aranha doesn't have time to finish the swear word. Aranha finds himself smashed side by side with Rylee. With a grunt he aids the effort of freeing both himself and his team mate from the pillar.
As for Aranha's part, he doesn't attack along with Rylee. Instead, he runs in the opposite direction to another corner and bounces up to get onto the turn buckle and positioning himself high above them and in a position to support Rylee.
Oh man. If one could see into the mind of Aranha, what will one find?

That kick finds its mark and it is only the start of what the Canadian had in mind if she managed to actually get the wiley old man. Nevermind the fact that he probably did himself in by whacking himself as well. Rylee can appreciate the suicidal handing of situations at least. She pushes down on the old man's shoulders and there is the unfortunant part of being a wrestler that happens.....she shoves Todoh's head between her thighs and then her arms raise as she makes a throat cutting motion. She will just have to shower alot tonight to get the old man off of her.
The move gets quite a bit of momentum to begin with, but being they are on a trampoline the move looks even more impressive when Rylee bounces upwards and flips forward to drop the Todoh Right on his head before releasing and rolling away and back to her feet. "This is over!"
There is something a little off about this to Todoh himself when he doesn't feel any more resistance in the pull. His eyes widen... wait a minute wait a minute he looks behind him and realizes that oh crap it's going further than he thought it would! His jaw drops wide open and he tries to scooch away like anybody of his peculiar tendencies would. Then he just drops it and runs, except he drops it right when the shadow of death catches him at the tip and pins him down from the back down. He yells something foul that's hard to hear above the cheering and some loud extended words from the announcer that people still can't understand what they're saying, seriously, does this guy know English or is this just a really heavy local accent?
Aranha helps his teammate out and, as a result, Todoh breaks free, pretty much crawling away. Ow, his back, but at least his legs are still moving. That's good. Maybe. But not for his chances as he shuffles through splattered watermelon and whole watermelon and other sorts of appropriate watermelon variants across the trampoline.
Rylee there makes her intentions known! The elder Todoh is actually rather clearly on the run when he helps himself up to something of a kneel, but that's not enough time to mount any sort of proper defensive posture, turning himself so that she gets him in the gut exactly as planned. Saliva flies everywhere and descends in Kasane Ate patterns. Even that nose bleed he had from the start thanks to Aranha jumping on him when he was sleeping under the mat gets in on this bizarre act... and he just looks up, one eye wide and red, teeth clenched like he's facing the ticket booth operator trying to collect, and, well... she's huge, c'mon.
Before he can mouth anything in his defense, pleading or arrogant or otherwise, head goes in thighs and there's muffled mumbling and oh hell is his wife going to be pissed when she sees this, slamming him so hard on the trampoline in flight that the man flies straight up! Up, up, up and away he goes into the ceiling, the trampoline underneath nearly giving complete way to the true might of the Canadian Destroyer.
Despite everything, he catches himself... or /something/, high up there on the ceiling. He huffs, puffs, dangles for life and consciousness. Then just breaks out in laughter. "Yeh hah hah hah hah!! This isn't over... oh no! You thought I was done after that?! You really thought I was done? You're below the might of the Todoh way! But I do have one gift for you!"
He pulls out a remote out of seemingly nowhere, possibly his rear, and clicks the button, giggling like a madman. This ceiling should open up and drop a nasty surprise down onto the entire arena, like so! But then his hold starts to weaken. The ceiling seems to drop. The giggling stops. Wait. He didn't just...
His expression flattens into irritation. Oh yeah. Dammit. Right above him. He shrugs a shoulder just in time for the ceiling to fly open and have a steamroller, stolen from Metro City's construction crews no less, fly straight down onto the trampoline canvas below.
...Do you really need to know more? It's a steamroller. Falling down from above. Now might be a good time to vacate the arena.
COMBATSYS: Todoh can no longer fight.

There is a look of smugness on the tired wrestler as she holds her arms up in the air and turns to face Aranha. "Hey we got him. This will let people know to take us...." she sort of trails off when she hears Todoh yelling at her. God what is wrong with that laugh? Turning about the Canadian gets to see the possible impending doom start to fall.
Rylee goes wide eyed as she stares for a moment and then she quickly turns about to try to scramble through the watermelon covered trampoline and then leap off of it to crash into the crowd just in time to avoid from being flattened by the falling construction machine.
"You crazy old man!" she finally calls out as she fights back to her feet and pushes a few people out of the way while shaking her fist. Well if anything Todoh has managed to do one thing. It will be a long time, if ever, that the wrestler will forget about the crazy old coot.
COMBATSYS: Aranha fails to counter Random Weapon EX from Todoh with Malicia EX.

Aranha sees a huge frickin steam roller drop down from ceiling. His eyes bulge open as stares for a few moments and then he swings himself up on the catwalk. On such a narrow area there are few places where he can move to get away from something that frickin huge. And so Aranha attempts improvise by creating a dome of chi webs.
Unfrotunately his untested methods yield no success either and the steam roller crashes through the web and crumbling the catwalk before ultimately putting him through the trampoline and leaving a steamroller sized crater in the ground.
All is silent for a moment and then all of a sudden a scar covered arm shoots out of the debris with a finger raised. Though for the folks at home, it's pixelated. Looks like Aranha is still alright... Sorta.
The steamroller collapses onto the trampoline. Unable to hold the weight, the ring buckles in on itself, turnbuckles collapsing inward. The catwalks survive this destruction. Dust flies up everywhere, as does, what else, watermelons. The crowd is spared from any deadly damage, and really, Howard Enterprises wouldn't stand for anything Todoh did that may have ended in injury to the spectators. But the crazy old man who is buried under there somewhere... he probably didn't think /that/ far ahead. Did he?
Todoh peeks out from between the heavy cylinders of the steamroller, having miraculously survived the fall and near-fatal encounter with construction equipment he has somehow become oddly fixated with, barely supporting his head with one arm and drumming his fingers like a foiled but not finished Wile E. Coyote, bruised and bloodied and just in the mood to have another nap rather than speed off in the heat of the moment like he typically does. Maybe he really should've gone with the instant death spikes that he has heard have proven effective against blue military robots in some tabloid he read recently.
Meanwhile, the announcer sees that Rylee's okay, and hey, so's Aranha. It's easy to signal a victory for them from here, when it is quite clear that Ryuhaku Todoh ain't getting out of wherever he's ended up in that mess like he did when they almost prematurely called it the first time. This could very well be the start of a legendary fighting team!
