Description: This is extreme. What is extreme, you ask? Well, the insurance premiums for this match. And the live ticket prices. But also the action. Definitely the action. You can't get more extreme than fighters on a TILT-A-WHIRL. The amusement park ride of centrifugal forces and wild gravitational action! And lots of puking. Except there's no puking today, just violence. It's fun for the whole family. Even Blanka wants his mama! No, really. He does. (Draw Match)
Clearly, someone up in the SNF hierarchy has an unholy obsession with staging fights in amusement parks. In the past few weeks, matches have taken place on bouncy castles, on trampolines, in giant ball pits, in halls of funhouse mirrors...it's almost enough to make you suspect the ride manufacturers are a major sponsor or something.
Either that, or our organizer is secretly a Batman villain in disguise.
Geese Howard, we're lookin' at you.
Whatever the case, the dawn of this day finds fans and camera crews packed in Southtown's own Dream Amusement Park - Japan's premiere family entertainment venue. Well, if you believe their marketing package, anyway.
On a typical weekend, one would expect crowds to be clustered around the really big attractions: the rushing length of the park's famous roller coaster, or the looming presence of the massive ferris wheel. But today, the press of humanity is gathered near another ride entirely, people contained behind security barriers strewn with official SNF banners and fan-made creations crafted by an enthusiastic audience.
The object of their attention? The Tilt-a-Whirl ride. The cameras are all focused on the wide platform, with huge outdoor screens echoing the camera views of the entire ride and the close-ups from each of the seven cars. Attached to pivot points, when the ride's in motion, the whole thing becomes a rotating mess of freely and independently spinning structures, randomly driven by centrifugal and gravitational forces - made more chaotic by the weight of the passengers.
Although there's only three people on this ride today.
At one end of the ride, Acacia Gillespie scowls at a park attendent as she mounts the stairs to the nearest stationary car, climbing over the side. The soles of her combat boots rap against the metal as she moves. She scowls. Honestly, is a safety disclaimer even going to -help-? They're -fighting- on this thing, they're not gonna stay strapped in.
And what's this business about you having to be such-and-such in height before being allowed on the ride? C'mon, she's short, but she's not -that- short...
Who loves the Tilt-a-Whirl?! Really?! Who would fight on it, who would be so nutso as to eagerly anticipate a battle on it's dizzying discs, what with spining and the twisting and the.. you get the picture. Blanka would! Amusingly enough, Blanka's been here every day since the matches were announced, eagerly checking out the 'fighting arena'. Or, in the case of the Tilt-a-Whirl owners, 'riding the machine over and over'. The good thing about occasionally getting paid through SNF is that he's had enough money to almost make himself vomit on the tilt a whirl far too often this week! It's a strange experience, but at least this time, it's not prone to him dressing in drag!
When the time comes to prepare for the fight, Blanka is a little late to arrive, bounding through the Park on his way there with a batch of cotton candy stuck to his maw in the shape of a beard. It's a little silly looking, but the nice cotton candy lady had actually the right color sugar to make the 'beard' match his real hair. He licks it off in one quick motion, bouncing up and down eagerly as he approaches Acacia. "Ah-WROO! Gonna see how strong... Acacia is!" He's eager, alright.
This time, Oswald may have more luck - Blanka has been told about the intruder, and he's gotten a little more explanation that 'chaos agents' are not supposed to be beaten up on to the exclusion of all else. From what his kinda-wonky brain understands, it is okay to gnaw on them a /little/ but the important part is to have fun with the other person he fights. Acacia.. well, she was pretty awesome last time, and quite good about teaching 'otaru, so she gets plus points. Not enough so that Blanka won't try to chew her socks or anything, but...!
A little cash can go a long way when SNF is considered. Oswald had been there a bit sooner than the rest, he had some set up to do. There's a note on the door to the ride, with a few post-it arrows pointing through the queue lines to it. It reads...
'I'll be around, probably in control room.'
'Promise to keep you both on your toes! Expect me.'
-Os
There was careful preparation over it all, and Oswald was visible if they looked hard enough, standing up on a scaffolding not too far off for some ride still being built or maintainenece. Palms on rail, he's leaning forward in his usual garb of choice, suit and tie, fancy shoes. The ride is active and waiting, the crowd electric and live, and everyone was awaiting. As much as Oswald would have liked to loudspeaker to the pair, he doesn't, simply offering a casual wave if any were to look at him. He had learned his lesson last time he fought Blanka as a Chaos Agent. Don't be sneaky about it with him and you won't get your face bitten off.
The great machine gives a loud hum as it starts up rolling to a nice, even levelling to prepare for the fight. After all, Oswald was at the controls...
Acacia turns as she wraps a hand round one of the safety rails in a ride car, not actually sitting down. She nods across the platform to Blanka, inclining her head. She blinks, just once, at the remains of his candy-floss beard, but lets it pass without comment.
Instead, as the ride's motors spin to life, Acacia says mildly:
"I'll try not to disappoint."
She tosses her head, hair glinting in the reflected lights of the park, to the crowd surrounding them.
Acacia pauses, though, at that point, a vague expression of disquiet passing over her face.
"Wait," she murmurs, "our Chaos Agent...is /controlling this thing/?"
One booted foot taps against the uneven metal surface in confirmation.
Not a good sign.

Hau, hau! Blanka is tall enough for the ride easily, walking past the sign and bouncing up to one of the spinning 'cups', grabbing onto it's safety handle for.. er, safety. "How bad can be, 'cacia? Only can go 'so fast', unless overarooded, right?" Blanka says this with an innocent smile, calling it out over the tinny tune of some nameless carnival song. He looks up at the control area and throws the booth a wave, offering a big hellos to Oswald, with he relative promise of not chucking anything big at the man where he sits.
Settling down onto a sitting position on the tops of one of the cars, he takes a moment to set it in a wide, wild circle, going 'wheeeee!' as he does. Yes, he's still childlike, and this preperation for SNF has been one of the funnest he's ever had. The trampoline was also quite fun, truth be told - but this time, he doesn't have to dress as a woman! "Ahw-roo! When Acacia ready, Blanka Ready!!"

And the great contraption-turned-battlefield is slowly set into motion. There's a screech of metal grinding against metal as the attraction lumbers to life with a single pull of a crank lever, the great balanced arms starting their rotation and the seats themselves starting to scale along the belts that encircle the massive thing.
And the crowd starts to go wild. As right they should, everyone always had a dream of breaking all the rules in an amusement park, now they get to live that vicariously through the fight.
There's little Oswald wanted to do just yet, no need to interfere this soon into the fight. As the lights start to flash on the great neons for the 'Tilt a Whirl', the great metal beast starting to gain momentum....

As the ride begins to speed up, the great beast stirring from its slumber, Acacia fixes Blanka with a look. Then she turns her dark gaze to the control point for the ride, where Oswald is just barely visible, manipulating the console. Her stare shifts back to Blanka.
One of Acacia's gloved hands is still wrapped tightly around a support strut of the nearest ride car, her feet anchored to the shifting metal platform. The fingers of her other hand flex, as she gestures to Blanka.
"How bad," Acacia says, dryly, "you ask?"
She's encountered this Oswald guy once before, in another SNF fight...where he was /also/ serving as Chaos Agent. She remembers that. Not many fighters are really well-suited at that kind of thing...but Acacia recalls well-placed projectiles and a clear tactical eye. Which explains why she's rather less than reassured, having to fight on terrain fully under the man's control.
He wears sunglasses and a suit, damnit. That's NEVER a good sign.
Her attention's back on Blanka now, though. As the ride spins and lurches, velocity hauling elements of the platform in different directions, Acacia takes a breath. She moves, then, as the spin of the car she's gripping reaches an apex, flinging herself through the air. Heading towards Blanka - well, the beast-man did say he was ready. Acacia blasts like a human missile, her green camo jacket flapping in the wind behind her, the leather of one glove creasing as she forms a fist, hauling it back in a chambered punch before driving it forward.
"Quite bad," Acacia notes.

For his part, Blanka waits upon the craft he'd decided to sit at - biding his time as Acacia approaches him. He learned from his last fight with her, at least a little bit - all his focus on her, not on the third person in the fight. He knows about what she said to Hotaru, about being controlled - and Blanka is attempting to prove that he's also quite good at controlling himself! If Hotaroo can do it, Blanka can too! He reaches out as Acacia lunges in, but doesn't attempt to attack or catch the blow. Instead, he pushes out on the gfloor of the tilt-a-whirl, sending his seat spinning away from the blow. He's not good enough to escape, catching half the punch on his arm, but certainly using it to his advantage, as a way to 'roll with the punch'. He howls in excitement as he goes for his spin!
He's hardly gone before the seat finishes it's turn, and he's coming back right at Acacia. There's no real subtelty to his attack, just speed from the swinging motion of his body and the twisting, turning motion of the device, his feet and one hand dug into the safety bar for support. He attempts to haul his free arm up under Acacia, to slam her down against the metal floor, using her punch as the momentum to get him in all the quicker.

Steel shrieks as Acacia's body -crunches- hard into a panel, badly denting the surface and wrenching screws and rivets out of position. The entire ride /lurches/ slightly with the impact, the collision only adding to the warring centrifugal forces building up with the machine's chaotic motion. Acacia hisses faintly as her back and shoulders smash into the ride platform, breath escaping from her lungs. But it isn't the forced involuntary expulsion of air made by someone who's taken a painful hit. No, it's the sound of someone exhaling in /preparation/ to take a blow.
Blanka's a brutal close-up fighter, but then, so is Acacia.
"Not bad," she observes, quietly, almost too soft for the microphone pickups - but probably enough for Blanka to hear.
Then she snaps an arm up. While Blanka's still in close proximity following his slamming motion, Acacia retaliates by blasting her own limb on a straight line to his throat, fingers curled in a move halfway between palm strike and chokehold.
Acacia's worried about what that Oswald guy could do, at the controls of this whole crazy amusement park ride.
Blanka, though, is the immediate problem at hand.
Gotta keep priorities.

Acacia's a mean, brutal close up fighter. And Blanka is just here to ride the tilt-a-whirl!!! It's a scary thing! He managese to knock her into the floor of the ride, spinning around again. As his momentum takes him towards the girl again, he finds her /right/ in his face, her hand lashed out and aimed right at his throat. He tries to get his jaw down in the way, but is caught up by the adam's apple, slammed into and knocked from his perch. The only good thing is that the hand manages to keep a hold of him, so that he can grab it as well. He twists and rocks from his position on the surface of the ride, trying to shake off the choking sensation.
"Awh... AWHHROO!" he howls out, and starts to crackle with electricty. He isn't trying to stay away from her, seemingly deciding that close-quarters combat is what is needed here against his foe. His body bucks up and off the metal surface of the ride, giving him an inch or two of clearance before he explodes into lightning, trying to channel it through Acacia's hand, and right into her. There's a reason for his madness, his plan requiring him to be airborne - the question is, can he do that and hold onto her at the same time? Is Acacia... faster than lightning?
Wasn't she, last time? oops..!
Acacia had every right to be concerned. It's probably evident that Oswald had time to tamper with the great machine before the fight, and the orders from the fight councel were to make things as extreme as possible.
There's a loud crank in the control booth, followed by a tremendous screech as some sort of small burst all around them causes all of the safety support bars and screen-cage doors to hiss open suddenly, and quite violently - all of them at the same time. Of course some of these things aren't meant to take such a violent 'shove', so lattes and broken bars ensue as bits and pieces fall from around the ride and down to the play-field of the moment and upon the fighters...

Electricity pounds into her body, racing through flesh, nerves, and muscle. Acacia grits her teeth as the pain hits, her vision blurring as she rides out the shock. She's barely able to remain on the ride, the shock causing her to almost lose her grip. Only one handhold keeps her attached to the crazy tilting mess. And when Oswald's little surprise springs...
...Acacia /swears/, muttering incoherently under her breath. There's little she can do but just take the flying debris, weathering the assault. There's no cover for her, not clinging to the ride by one hand as she is. As chunks of ruined metal bounce off her body, she hauls herself back onto a swinging car, establishing two solid handholds and then getting her feet onto reasonably stable ground.
Well, at least what passes for stable, when everything's pivoting wildly and bits of debris are filling the air.
She -knew- having that Oswald guy at the controls would be painful.
Weathering the storm, Acacia locks her eyes on Blanka. She takes a breath.
Then she releases it.
Along with her own gathered chi.
The ride car in front of her /explodes/, sending more chunks of steel and fiberglass flying through the air. The blast resonates along the mechanical arm holding that sector of the ride in place, twisting and warping metal with a horrific vibrating shriek. Acacia's chi is something more felt than seen, concussive force reduced to bare essentials...
...racing towards Blanka.

Blanka was raised in the jungle! Bouncing from thing to thing should be easy! And really, it is for the most part. He's quite good at avoiding most of the things coming his way, but every so often, he gets caught up in things bigger than himself. There's that time that he tried to swing from a vine and it was a elephant's trunk instead, and it swung him ar.. wait, that was George of the Jungle, not Blanka. Blanka hasn't ever done that. He's /seen/ it done, though - and knows how things can go all pear-shaped in a second.
He nimbly dodges Oswald's attack, by flipping himself forwards, towards where Acacia stands. This gives him a very good view of the explosion of the ride car that she destroys in his general direction - and being at almost point blank(a) range, means that he gets blown away and almost off the ride. Luckily, it tilts up at just the right time, and as his back bounces off the surface, he's sent to the edge and gets a claw in. His mouth hangs open, dizzy and dazed, shaking his head and trying to refocus his gold eyes on what's going on. He hollers out over on the other side, just to make sure Acacia knows where he is. "Blanka.. over here! Still... sorta standing! AWH-ROOOO!" He'll take just a second to prepare - after that explosion, he'll need it!

One of the attendants at the control scaffolds screams as the bits and pieces fall to the earth, thankfully the crowd - whom is currently wild with cheers and screams as the poles and bars slam into the ground. Does insurance cover it? Depends on how robust the policy for fight-related damage is. Between Oswald's little stunt and Acacia's using the ride's metal frame as a medium to conduct her chi attack, it's anyone's guess if there'll be anything left to salvage once the fighters are through.
Acacia grips a twisted bit of tubular steel, what was once a safety bar from the wrecked car in front of her. The mechanical arm supporting the segment of the Tilt-A-Whirl she's on groans dangerously, stressed components protesting the abuse.
Throwing herself into space, Acacia spins wildly in the air, her hair and jacket flying, until she manages to land on the next ride car, spilling awkwardly into one of the seats. Gripping the edges for support, she sticks her head out, searching for Blanka. Where the hell is---
That's when Blanka calls out.
Most fighters, if momentarily obscured from view, wouldn't give away their position like that. Acacia's somewhat surprised Blanka did. She blinks, her mouth opening slightly. But then, that's not altogether surprising, given the green beast-man's demonstrated propensity for sportsmanship.
She exhales. She can't help but grin, a small smile rising on her face.
"Thanks," she says, genuinely, her voice carrying over the crazed mechanical rattle of the ride.
That doesn't mean she's cutting him slack, though. Because Acacia leaps now from her new perch, whipping through the air. Heading straight for where Blanka is hanging, lashing out with a raised elbow.

This is starting to get outside Blanka's comfort zone! The smell of machinery, burning and twisting as it's tormented outside its comfort zone, is a little disturbing. The screech of metal on metal as it's pushed outside tolerance is perhaps not a good thing to be involved in. Through the smoke and haze, Blanka sees Acacia's elbow coming in, and makes as if to interrupt it with a giant mouth. At the last second, he changes his mind and flattens out, sneaky mind coming up with a brilliant plan! Underneath, he flattens out and gets out of the way, his hands and toes clamping onto the metal frame of the tilt-a-whirl. With Acacia standing, he just grins up at her - and begins to spark.
Such is Blanka's control that he can avoid attacking the woman with that sparking electic power. No, no, it's sent /down/, to the tortured motor that runs the device. As he said before, the Tilt-A-Whirl could only go so fast, unless it were 'Overarooded'. It seems that Blanka'd been looking for the right time to suddenly send the spinning machine into overdrive, trying to chuck Acacia free of the bonds of earth, towards the outer edges of the whirl and the jagged metal pieces that have shown up from their explosive battle! "AWH--ROOOOOO! *zzt zzt zzt*"
"Get off me!" Oswald is receiving his own little brand of annoying interference as the operators attempt to get him away from the controls. There's only two and given Oswald's nature as a fighter isn't much to overcome, thankfully. While they were far from hurt, a good shove teaches them to steer clear for the time being.
If they were prone to stopping him, he had to bring his next part of the plan in motion. One of the two on the ground, still wrestling somewhat with the other, holding him back with left arm as the right pulls out a little remote. There's only a little 'beep' before this eerie silence befalls the Chaos Agent presses the button... and nothing happens.
Or at least nothing /right/ now...
"D...damn!"
Then a tremdous, single scream of iron grips the machine...
This probably was not a good sign...
The great ride is shuddering...

A part of Acacia acknowledges that this really /is/ a difficult tactical scenario. The battlefield itself is in motion, travelling at disorientating angles and speeds. She's fighting an opponent far more agile than she is, despite his superior bulk - which underscores the fact Blanka's a literal powerhouse in addition to everything else. So yes, this /is/ a genuine challenge.
Another part of her, though, just can't get past the fact they're fighting on a freaking amusement park ride.
That doesn't stop her from responding with all her skill and instinct, though. No matter how absurd the situation, Acacia's a fighter at heart. And so she doesn't panic as the Tilt-A-Whirl gives a monumental lurch. She doesn't panic as the ride's motor slams all the way past high gear into ludicrious territory, the engine consuming itself in mechanical fury, driven berserk by whatever unholy sabotage Oswald has inflicted upon it.
She's got no idea what -other- nightmares Oswald might have in store. She wouldn't put it past the man, from what she's seen of him firsthand and heard through other sources, to simply /blow up/ the entire deal in an apocalyptic fireball. But she can't do anything about /him/.
Blanka and his electricity, on the other hand...
Acacia's flung free of the ride by the violent shaking. She twists, though, angling her body with a surprising display of acrobatics. In the space of a single heartbeat, she sees what she has to do, then focuses the energy to do it. Gathering her chi and driving it outward in another concussive blast. But not an attack, not in itself. She drives the force from her legs and back, the air rippling behind her. Kinetic energy crashes from Acacia like a sledgehammer to the laws of Physics - as she suddenly turns herself into a human rocket, redirecting her velocity. She crashes into Blanka, carrying -both- of them momentarily into clear blue sky, before they both slam back into the ride's embrace, smashing into a passenger car in a horrific spray of shattering fiberglass, plastic, and metal.
Blanka, if asked, would certainly say that Acacia was the more agile of the pair. After all, how else could he walk into giant walls of concussive force if she were not very much more agile than he?! He's pretty sure that he's done something wrong as metal screams and things start to shake and rattle, looking confused and a little afraid. After all, Blanka has been on something metal and shakey and .. er, explodey before. This is not bringing back good memories to him, oh no. In fact, his eyes are wide, gold looking almost afraid. As Acacia catches him, takes him into the air, he's trembling - not from the fight, no - no, he's somewhere else, and he'll cling to Acacia as he's crushed into the metal, his hands holding on and shaking. Gold eyes aren't focused on what's going on through the battle, and the fact that he's unable to stop Acacia from slamming him against the structure - well, he's lost it.
"Gonna crash... Blanka.. gonna crash..!" He howls through the cry of metal, the battering of the machine finally signaling it's demise. At that moment, he balls up, and tries to 'save' Acacia - leaping forwards, trying to get clear before what he knows will happen. He spins into a ball as he does, trying to knock her free of the area - unsure on if it will work or not, but putting /everything/ he has into the effort..! "Careful mama!!! Blanka save aroooooo!"
The great scream of metal comes with a sudden stocky, stuttered sound of thumping along the great metal frame that's been weathered by the battle. The remote in Oswald's hand smokes and sparks, forcing him to drop it as it seems to get a blast of feedback from the shock and jam from the ride. Unsurprising given the thing was wired to the ride.
Both Oswald and the park officials are paralysed with anticipation... waiting to see...
The ride shudders again and though it's not properly timed, the shaped charges that were placed on the struts fire, but only some hwere and there, ripping steel from steel, blasting away rivets and making what was supposed to be a modicum of ballistic control turn into pure chaos. The first wave of bursts are mostly harmless to the fighers and the second may make things a bit shaky on the rides, but the third sents the mid-weight I-beams randomly busting at seams, having them flay away from their kin, spreading in most any direction from into the ride to out... as half the thing starts to plummet to the ground in a shower of flame, sparks and screeching, red-hot iron...

"Did you," Acacia groans in disbelief, "just call me -mama-?"
That's about all she manages to get out. The words are somewhat muffled, courtesy of the fact her face is embedded in the ground just beyond the ride - her body lying in an impact trench of churned earth, as bits of flaming metal rain down from the sky.
Sheer pain, that's what she remembers from the past few moments, as the ride /disintegrated/, as Blanka crashed into her curled up into a ball. Her vision blurs as her breath comes in fits and starts.
She remembers the 'mama' bit, though.
Because it's all shades of disturbing.
Acacia presses her hands to the ground, pushing herself up. Her knees meet the earth as she rises, kicking aside a twisted chunk of metal levers cast from the ride. Behind her, the wreckage burns and shudders, bits of it still in motion.
She shakes her head.
Jeez, Acacia thinks, he didn't have to -literally- blow it up, did he?
Acacia's not sure if she wants to be impressed with Oswald, or find him and punch his face in.
Both, possibly.
Breathing heavily, she looks around for Blanka, eyes searching through a concussed haze. Locating a green-and-red blur that's probably him, Acacia grits her teeth, swings round, and throws an axe kick, lifting her leg and dropping her heel straight into the ground.
Another of those concussive waves erupts from Acacia's lean form, this one tearing through the earth, sending soil and debris flying as it blasts towards Blanka with a destructive roar.
There hasn't been enough breaking of things yet.

Battered and bounced around by the explosion, metal and fire licking at his back and arms, Blanka does his best to 'protect' Acacia by knocking her away. It doesn't /actually/ help all that much, but it might ease his mind, if he's feeling down later about it. As he lands, he's dazed, dizzy and surprised, unable to do more, for a second, than /watch/ the impact wave rush towards him. This time, with the large amount of fire and smoke still swirling a bit - he can see it. And that gives him everything he needs.
"Still... fighting... 'cacia!" He howls out and launches himself /through/ the wave. He's rememebered where and who he is, and that he's supposed to show that he's the king of the jungle. Unfortuanately for him, he's unconcious as soon as the wave hits him, a large chunk of big green beastie basically flopping into Acacia. As he flops against her with all his weight and speed, an intrinsic internal reflex sparks into life - and lighting crackles around the pair, blindinginly bright. Blanka's out of it after - but is Acacia?

Acacia 1/=======/=======|=======\===----\1 Oswald
Oh yeah.
Definitely out of it.
The residual electricity crackles through Acacia's nerves. Her muscles spasm, making twitching movements completely beyond her control. It's all she can do to avoid blacking out - and that takes all she's got. Acacia breathes heavily in irregular desperate gasps, her throat hoarse as she draws in air. Her eyes are shut, her facial muscles clenched in a rictus of agony, a faint trace of tears welling at her eyes.
She doesn't, though, /make any sound/. No noise at all, save for that made by her weak movements lying on the ground smothered by Blanka.
"Yeah, yeah," she grumbles, finally, finding her voice, "just get off, mmkay?"
What. He's heavy.
COMBATSYS: Acacia takes no action.
COMBATSYS: Acacia can no longer fight.

Oswald 1/----===/=======|
The fight officials, the park officials and Oswald are already on the way to this ground zero. Smoking remains of sheared steel sends sparks out along the neon and xenon hazed air from the broken bulbs that lined the side of the ride. It may be hazy to both the contenders, but there's quite a bit of shouts and concern being thrown around. Oswald is checking on both, for one thing, and the Fight officials are giving hell to the Park officials who are of course giving hell to the Fight officials.
For now, Oswald seems forgotten as he makes sure neither of the two were taken too hardly by the blast. It wasn't meant to go off all at once... something must have shorted out the equipment. Thankfully that little option was installed by one of the park engineers, maybe he could end up passing the blame on him if it wasn't too difficult.
Oswald is quick to get the Green 'Monstrousity' off of Acacia, setting him aside on his back and leaning over to check on Acacia's wounds, "Good fight... but... this last bit wasn't planned." He isn't too thorough with the examination, in order to have Acacia keep dignity of course, but he stays close to both for now, "You have my apologies. This /was not/ supposed to happen."
He'll no doubt have to make amends soon enough...
"What," Acacia says, weakly, breathing more easily now that Blanka's comatose form is no longer suffocating her, "you mean...the green guy on me..."
She tilts her head, squinting with one open eye at the burning wreckage of the amusement park ride.
"...or did you want," she manages, sardonically, "a friendlier explosion?"
COMBATSYS: Oswald has ended the fight here.
