In Southtown Village there's a large, fire engine red sleigh that's large enough to take up most of the street in terms of width and two and a half car lengths in terms of length.
There's a large audience gathered in the streets. A large portion of the audience are either children or their parents hoping to receive their presents. There are also a few collectors hoping to get memorabilia before one or both of the fighters stock rises.
There's no sign of Aranha for awhile until he suddenly leaps from a fire escape onto the sleigh dropping into a roll upon landing as he waits for the fight to begin.
And that Sleigh is a sleigh of HOPES. OF DREAMS. of PRESENTS.
Katana walks from his position, moving forth, wakizashi in his hands as he makes his way towards the Sleight, armored head and body, as well as some unarmored sections, making up what Katana is known for .. HIS AMAZING JAPANESE STYE. For he is Japanese. "Hahahah! So it is this time again!" Katana cries out, both blades raised in his joy. "I look forwards to dedicating this fight to the children, ESPECIALLY the Japanese children! I SHALL NOT LET YOU DOWN!"
And leaping onto the Sleigh, it'll get moving, Katana standing tall and proud. "All of you children, gather around, for I shall pass out gift upon gift to you! And then I shall vanquish this fierce warrior! FOR I AM JAPANESE!"
Flexing, Katana then fishes out a present, tossing it randomly into the crowd.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS, ONE AND ALL. AND TO THE MAD GEAR GANG!" HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-hooyeah!
Aranha knew that during the Jinchuu tournament Katana and Birdie were both running with Blackjack. And while angry... Correction... Extremely pissed off at that group he doesn't know whether they were actually part of the group or if they were engaged in a temporary alliance and so he won't hold those alliances against Katana for now.
As for their other history of beating the ever loving crap out of each other anyway. "Hey! Have you improved your pool game?" A playful tone before he takes his stance. Okay, it's quite a stance because it's constantly mobile and then he leaps into action as he grabs a teddy bear, which has only one eye, out of the bag and then tosses it to child.
In that act of tossing the bear he whips his foot into Katana's torso trying to slip it under the 'armor' and cartwheeling backwards afterwards.
The teddy bear lands in a little girl's arms and she looks at it for a moment before saying, "Awww, that's so cute. I think I'll name him Heidern."

As Aranha slams the foot towards Katana, he is unable to slam his wakizashi towards the man! Even as he twirls about to try, it just doesn't work! Such a thing is unfortunate, but Katana is rough and tough! Such a strike is lax to hurt such a manly man as him!
Although that did pretty damn well sting.
"OOF!" Katana cries out as the foot slams under the armor! Perhaps he should have simply tried avoiding it, but instead, he had lunged straight towards the foot.. a mistake, perhaps!
"No .. I have yet to try such a game again! I have been honing my skills ... TO DEAL WITH THOSE WHO DO NOT RESPECT ME! ... There have been many times these skills were needed, and still has! But there shall be ... less of such problems!"
Regaining his footing, Katana takes out .. A NINJA KIT, from the bag, and tosses it towards a child!
After Aranha's previous defeats at the hands... blades of Katana, Aranha knows better than to disrespect Katana's skill in fighting even if Aranha often finds his choices in battle illogical.
Aranha performs an aerial in order to move his body towards the bag snatching a toy lightsaber out of it while upside down and flinging it to another child. "Oww," a boy shouts upon impact with his head. Oops! Looks like Aranha was a little off with his aim.
Even if the aim of the lightsaber was off there was still a method to his madness since it gets him close enough to to grab Katana by his legs and pull them from under him. After that, he shouts to the kid that he hit with the lightsaber, "Sorry kid!!!"

DASHING THROUGH THE STREETS, WITH A BUS DRAWN SLEIGH TODAAAAAY. OVER THE SNOW WE GOOOOO. FIGHTING ALL THE WAYYYY.
And Katana is pretty wounded from Aranha's strike! Such power behind him.. he could not match it! But why would he need to, anyways? He'll just PLOW THROUGH. But for the moment, what reason relies on it? Because as Aranha dings the kid, Katana is busy raising up something heavy from the other side of the bag.
"Let us see ... what good little HURGGGHH Sally shall get?" And then Aranha attempts to pill his legs out from under him. The added force does propel Katana free, and what he is holding? AN OVEN, which slams into Aranha hard as he whips around, body preparing for the tumbling to the bottom of the Sleigh.
And that's when the oven is hoisted over the side of the sleigh, Katana regaining his footing, as he gives Sally THAT OVEN.
With the dent of 1 Aranha in it!
"Nice try .. BUT THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS FLOWS THROUGH MY VERY VEINS LIKE MY ANCESTRY!"
KLANG!!!
And suddenly when the oven is pulled away the face actually takes on the form Aranha's face. And when it

And suddenly when the oven is pulled away the face actually takes on the form Aranha's face. And when it's handed over to Sally the memorabilia collectors descend upon poor little Sally. At first offering to buy the Easy Bake Oven and then more morally reprehensible collectors snatch the oven away from her starting a mini brawl in that area.
Aranha reaches into the bag and what does he find but a... wait for it... A /Sharpened/ Replica of Cloud Strife's Buster Sword. What type of sick bastard would include that in a bag of toys to be thrown to little children.
Unfortunately while Aranha is busy trying to figure that out, the sleigh hits a pot hole and between unwieldy nature of the Buster Sword and the pot hole he find himself falling sword first right on top of Katana.
Even still Aranha still uses his parkour skill to turn it into a controlled fall in an attempt to keep from being too vulnerable.

As Aranha reaches into the bag, Katana himself is busy climbing back up to the bag .. AND YET WHAT DOES HE FIND OUT? ... He finds that he cannot make it to the top, because there is an Aranha falling upon him, the pot hole causing Katana to fall, flat onto his back, and due to his armor .. he is stuck there.
And then he gets to watch, slowly, as Aranha falls backwards slowly. Teetering. TIME SLOWS DOWN. There is a giant sword and a man who was unable to use it, falling towards him, sword first.
He could try to avoid it .. BUT THE SWORD WOULD BE RUINED.
He must risk himself to prevent the sword from breaking, and thus ruining the child's hopes and dreams. "Aranha, my worthy opponent .... I AM SORRY!" And his hands slam, clasping upon the sword, holding it with ALL HIS STRENGTH... but not Aranha, who would probably suffer from whiplash due to the sudden stop and then slam into the floor of the sleigh, before the side, as Katana spun the sword upwards and leapt to his feet!
And then gently dropped the sword over.
"BE CAREFUL with such a thing, boy ... for swords are dangerous weapons!"
Aranha's controlled fall becomes oh so uncontrollable when Katana whips him off of the sword and flings him like a rag doll sending him painfully to the ground.
The rediculously oversized sword ends up hitting the ground and Aranha looks at the sword. He inwardly bristles at being called 'boy.' If Katana hadn't called him a worthy opponent earlier he'd be fairly livid.
Aranha slowly rises to his feet. "I just want to know who put that sword in there in the first place. Those don't belong in a bag of toys." Of course, that doesn't stop him from using it anyway. Aranha grabs the sword off the ground and this time with much more control he thrusts it at Katana's stomach and then rises into the air pulling the blade upwards, A trail of blue chi following along the path of the blade. Someone from the crowd utters, "Did he just attempt to perform Climhazzard?"

And then Aranha rises. And then he grabs the sword. And then Katana watches as the sword is THRUST TOWARDS HIS STOMACHU, RISINGU UPU FROMU THEU GROUNDU.
He then learns it's chi covered, the energy causing MASSIVE PAIN as he's thrown backwards and into the pile of presents. Katana's bowled over, send wheeling, and finally comes to a stop deep, deep within the endless pile.
But slowly, Katana gets to his feet.. and then at that time, Katana shakes himself off, BURSTING FROM THE BAG, PRESENTS FLYING EVERYWHERE. "Hahhaa... So you ... ARE QUITE THE WARRIOR!" He cries out, before dashing towards the man! His hands outstretched as he goes to grab the sword once more .. AND THEN FLIP ARANHA, as he tries to land, and cause presents to shake randomly from the Sleigh ALL OVER!
It's getting pretty savage on that there sleigh!

Aranha slowly descends from the air dropping down to land. Before his feet ever touch the sleigh Katana's hands clasp onto the sword and considering that his skill doesn't truly doesn't lie in swordsmanship and even still, it's the frickin Buster Sword. Continuing to fight with it would only become a hardship.
Aranha lets go and allows Katana to shake the sword and sleigh. But while he does so he plants one hand on the ground and puts the lifted hand in the bag and pulls out an... oven mitt? But after the Buster Sword Aranha's not surprised by anything that comes out of the bag anymore.
In one seamless motion, the capoeirista scissors his legs about Katana's and twists over using leverage to drop the 'samurai' on his back. Meanwhile with a flick of his wrist, he sends the mitt in the crowd creating a memorabilia frenzy.
COMBATSYS: Katana blocks Aranha's Quick Throw.

Katana rushes past, and unfortunately, cannot grab him! Even worse, the capoeirista grabs Katana with his legs, and moments before being smashed against the ground of the sleigh, Katana's slamming his hands against it, his wrists and arms giving way, pained, but he REFUSES TO GIVE IN.
"You .... ARE QUITE THE WARRIOR! BUT THIS HOLIDAY SHALL NOT GO WITHOUT A BANG!" Katana yells out, loudly, before pushing himself off, and then climbing, up to the bag, in which he begins to pitch this way and that the objects.
THROWING HERE AND THERE, Katana even, unfortunately, tossing a scarf over the front of the sleigh.. WHATEVER IS DRIVING, IT AIN'T ANYMORE. And they're heading towards an intersection. "PRESENTS FOR ALL. PRESENTS ... FOR ALL!"
Throwing them this way and that way, Katana is giving GOOD CHEER ALL YEAR..
Or is he!?
COMBATSYS: Katana focuses on his next action.

Aranha is all for spreading cheer but normally it's done through his acrobatics and fighting style. And so he works to his strengths. He goes to grab a rubber duckie, a hess truck(which this time he's careful not to hit the kids in the head) and flings them around before breaking into a dash.
When he gets a good running start, he leaps off of the sleigh and grabs one of the fire escapes of an apartment and begins climbing up before, running at it's side, slowly passing and eventually Katana, and this is when things become exciting.
Aranha leaps up on a railing then kicks off of a wall and then uses the wall to propel himself feet first right for Katana's neck between shoulder pads and helmet.

When Aranha gets a good running start, leaping off the sleigh before grabbing a fire escape of an apartment before .. he leaps off the wall and then SLAMS TOWARDS KATANA, feet first towards his neck, slamming hard.. but Katana was focused, and ready, and his body cracked as the feet struck..
But he was ready.
"This sleigh is nice ... BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE THE CHEER! THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS. SO I HAVE PROVIDED IT MYSELF." Wait. What. WHAT COULD IT POSSIBLY BE.
And then as they near the intersection, it happens. A truck. KATANA'S TRUCK, sports a new paintjob. Santa's, elves, HOT ASS SANTA HELPERS, and one nice looking Mr. Claus stand near a BUFF Santa with muscles and swords.
And the entire Truck is coated in lights as well.
Katana grabs for Aranha, as he kicked towards him, and towards the side of the sleigh.. THAT WOULD BE DEMOLISHED BY THE TRUCK.
Meanwhile, at the impact, Katana holds on, AS PRESENTS FLY EVERYWHERE.
IT is truly a travesty... but what of Aranha? WHAT FATE SHALL MEET HIM?

Aranha is thrown between the truck and the sleigh and he immediately begins studying the environment for escape routes. He was studying the environment before, but it was for attack then. The situation has certainly changed for the Dancing Spider.
Aranha quickly vaults back up on to the sleigh and then leaps up onto a street light and climbs up it until he hangs from it upside down watching as chaos ensues well out of harm's way. However the sleigh begins to spin out sending it into the wall catching a small group of children, collectors and other assorted spectators and pressing them into wall.
Aranha's only response is somewhat quiet with a touch of anger, "That was reckless." It's quite understandable considering what he's been through lately with his troubles with his sister. The kidnapping had made him quite sensitive to the plight of children as he begins imagining his little sister in the same situation.
His body begins to glow blue for a moment and then suddenly he darts at Katana feet first, bouncing off him, the walls, the truck, the street lights, traffic signals, fire escapes. Over and over Aranha attempts to use whatever the environment he has available to him until finally he rolls away from Katana watching him and breathing heavily.

As the Aranha vaults, chi glowing about him, Katana is them slammed into heavily. The leg catches him, bouncing once more, over and over again, continuing. There is little Katana can do, and grasping for the leg, he's set into a spiral. One he cannot prevent! And thus, when it comes, Katana slams hard into the ground, the strikes over and over finally overpowering him.
The chi was just too much.
Landing on the floor of the sleigh, or what's left of it, Katana is unable to get up, and his cries of glory and battle, usually loud, are gone! But there is a funky ass truck out there, a glowin, and it's going to continue glowing, chanting HO HO HOOOOOO.
And then just grab Katana and leave.
Such is how it goes.
Aranha was able to silence Katana but he's not quite able to enjoy it just yet. There's the whole problem of the fact that there are still people trapped behind the sled. Unfortunately Aranha while strong, isn't strong enough to physically move the giant sleigh.
Aranha would be able to kick a few man-made gaps into the sleigh however that would take a lot of time, would be inefficient, and carried the risk of accidentally hurting the trapped spectators even more. Instead Aranha begins to run off. He's gone for awhile and then returns driving a hot-wired tow truck.
After connecting the tow truck to the sleigh he drives pulling the sleigh away from the wall. After there's a good gap he begins to make good his own escape not wanting to deal with the police afterwards. Looks like neither of the fighters could avoid committing criminal acts on TV.
