Jinchuu - [R4][Cut] Resistance is Futile

Description: The Suiryuu is now under siege by the minions of the "R" Organization, which has put a crimp in two Jinchuu combatant's plans to explore the ship. Can Rugal's minions put down the resistance before it gets the best of them?

Helicopters in the night. A giant EMP blast that temporarily knocked out much of the lights. A massive, tangling steel cable net dropped over the boat, forcing the engines off line before the drive shafts and rudders would be destroyed by fighting against it. The Suiryuu is crippled with a giant carrier sitting just off to the side of it and four helicopters hovering overhead with ziplines connecting them to the decks and hulls of the boat.

Smaller boats have come alongside the Suiryuu. Now that the initial assault has happened, some of Rugal's ranking men have been sent over to oversee operations directly, among which is Brian Battler, one of the beefier, recent additions to the 'R' Organization.

With him is a man in black fatigues with night vision goggles resting on the top of his head. In his hands is a modified M-16 rifle with a grenade launcher attachment and on his back is a fully loaded shotgun. Backup to Brian's brawn, he is called Crusher by his squadmates. "So, boss," he mutters, his mug covered with unshaven stubble, "Think we'll run into any trouble taking this fancy floating tub over?"

Following right behind Brian as the two step onto the deck, having been brought over via a motor boat, he checks his rifle and makes sure the safety is /off/. No sense in being caught flat footed in case some pesky fighter needs to be put down. All passangers aboard the Suiryuu are to be detained in their cabins, tied up tightly with powerful plastic cables. Any fighters that resist are to be 'handled with expedient force'.

Aranha timing just stinks or is perfect. It depends on who you ask. Aranha had planned to do his own personal exploration of the ship when all hell breaks loose. The young man dressed in black and wearing both a black mini backpack and black pouch on his waist sees the lights go out.

In a swift motion he swings the backpack off of his shoulders and reaches in to pull his own nightvision goggles and slipping them onto his his forehead. They aren't over his eyes yet. After checking his pouch he begins to move forward further.

It's at this point that he sees both Brian Battler and Crusher. It's then and only then that Aranha realizes things might go over as he had originally planned.

Aranha wasn't the only one with exploration in mind. Having missed his chance to raid the cargo hold on his own time after the ill-timed Mad Gear attack, Vyle had finally decided it was time to try again. However...when the ship shakes, and the lights go out, he knows his timing has once again gone off. "...oh, god dammit..." he grumbles, gritting his teeth.

Peeking his way up the darkened ship, he tries to make his way up top, if only because he figures it'd be the best place to see what's going on...of course, the helicopters make that even more evident as he slips out from inside the cabins. "...the hell?"

Stepping onto the deck, the enormous Texan strikes a single wooden match against the side of his face. "I certainly hope so," he mutters in response to his partner, lifting the flame to the end of his Cuban cigar. One of the perks of working with "R" is being able to get the best cigars the world has to offer.

Brian Battler, too, is in military-style fatigues. Like a mountain in black, he stands on the deck of the Suiryuu, surveying the scene. Puffing gently on his cigar, he withdraws a blackened Ruger Super Redhawk revolver from a shoulder holster, flipping the cylinder open to check the ammunition before proceeding. "I wouldn't mind causing a little pain and misery."

As the door opens and Vyle emerges, the former linebacker snaps the revolver closed and levels it towards Vyle. "Evenin'," he says, lips sneering around the thick cigar. "If y'like yer head t' remain in one piece, I suggest y' come on out, lay down and kiss th' floor."

The agent at Brian's side takes an aggressive couple of steps forward, hefting that rifle of his to wave it at Vyle, "Yeah, don't be a tough guy and this whole thing will just be a slight inconvenience." the man growls. Sure. All boat-wide hostile takeovers are just slight inconveniences, right?

Aranha would have escaped notice, staying in the unlit portion of the boat, but unfortunately for him one of the helicopters overhead sweeps its bright spotlight over his location at about the same time Crusher happens to be glancing his way. "HEY!" the man challenges, swiftly moving over toward the young Capoeira artist, barrel of the automatic riffle pointed his way. "Get face down and ditch the fancy goggles, boy!"

Vyle blinks as he finally makes his way completely out of the cabins, only to end up face to face with a rather burly man with a cigar and a revolver staring him in the face. "...and if I tell you to shove that cigar where you probably pulled it from, judging by the smell?" he asks, defiant and rather annoyed that this ruckus just ruined another good scheme. Thankfully, his partner, the one with the more worrisome rifle, ends up distracted elsewhere with someone else, leaving him with the big man. "...ok, so you got a gun. Big deal. I bet I can make you choke on it before I'm done."

Boy? Oh no he didn't just call Aranha 'boy.' Aranha like most US born males of African descent have a severe aversion to being called that. But he's not going to show his displeasure just yet. Instead Aranha looks for all the world to be the picture of compliance.

The Capoeirista drops to one knee and then leans forward look as if he's about go face down to the ground trying to disguise the fact that he's reaching inside his pouch for a mini-canister of WD-40.

Judging by their outfits and the fact they were both waving guns at Vyle it would appear that he atleast has a temporary ally in this, not that he trusts him but he knows who not to direct his attacks to.

Aranha plants his hand on the ground and catapults himself into a one handed hand front hand-spring and hoping that he can take advantage of the element of surprise sprays the man with the rifle in the face with the lubricant. Even if he misses though he'll at least make it harder for them to retaliate due to the slippery ground. "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLIN' BOY!?!?"

Slowly, Brian smiles, his grin twisted and evil. He's got a a lively one, here. Good. Pulling the cigar from his lips, the giant 'R' operative taps the ash off. "I'd have to go grab yer girlfriend, kiddo," he replies, setting the smouldering tobacco wrap back between his teeth. "'Course, it's more than she's getting, so I'm sure she'd be happy t' see it again."

True. He does have a gun. Looking down the sights of the massive .454 Casull revolver, Brian nods slightly. "Well, sure. Y'may be able t'make me choke on this. Of course..." Cocking the hammer back, his vicious smile grows. "...I could turn your head into a canoe."

He squeezes slightly. The hair trigger pulls. The hammer falls.

"I got this one over here, boss," the man calls over his shoulder toward Brian as he takes the last few steps toward Aranha. He's got a coil of plastic cabling that he'll be more than happy to tie Aranha up with until the young man looks like some kind of wrapped up early Christmas present. "That's right, nice 'n easy." he replies as the martial artist appears to not be presenting a problem.

That is until the would be captured takes off into a hand spring, "What the hell-" There's the sound of a rifle going off. Not the only one audible aboard the boat, as the entire Suiryuu is swarming with activity. The enjected round tears into the can in Aranha's hands, keeping him from hitting the thug with the lubricant but more than enabling him to cover a small portion fo the deck of it as the can bursts. "All right, you had your one warning! Looks like you want to play tough, huh?"

"Tch...s'matter? YOUR girlfriend mad that the cigar's bigger than you are?" Vyle retorts back, picking at his ear rather annoyedly and distractedly. Then, when the gun comes up again, he snorts. "A canoe? My god man, can't you think of a better one than 'canoe'? A punch bowl, a smashed pumpkin, a bloody doughnut, something better than canoe, I mean what the he-"

THen the shot goes off...and Vyle's not there. Nope. He's already lept up, trying to plant a hand on top of Brian's head. "-ll is that even supposed to mean, genius? Christ, get a writer already," he snaps, before he drops an elbow down, trying to slam it on the top of Brian's head.

Aranha lets out a quiet swear as there's a sudden hole in his can of WD-40. He might've had a use for that later. Of course there's still the problem that he's being confronted by a soldier with a gun.

Sure he got the warning but he still needs to take care of some things and that require not getting captured.

Aranha seeing a need to keep his opponent off balance and attempting to make sure that he has trouble keeping up he leaps up limbing up until he gets up into the rigging and then when he finds the right angle he leaps down feet first attempting to connect with the soldier's head. "Come into my parlor..."

Sigh.

Having missed his shot, the giant holsters his firearm, even as Vyle leaps up and onto him. Reaching for the retaining strap over the hammer as Vyle's elbow crashes down on his head, he fumbles slightly for the clasp before snapping it in. Not showing any other reaction to the blow, Brian straightens up and turns towards the luchadore. "Son, I think you just made the last mistake you'll ever make," he mutters.

It's time to unleash some pain. Looks like his wish came true. Jumping back, the former linebacker bounces on the balls of his feet for a moment, before launching forward, lifting his leg to unleash a pankration-style gut kick straight at Vyle's lower ribs. If things go well, there could be internal bleeding and shattered bone in Vyle's future.

"This guy's one of them fighters," Crusher barks as Aranha kicks into action, flipping over him up into the beams above. Of course, it looks like Brian already has a diversion of his own with the trash talking Vyle and the two seem to be getting along great already. "I got 'em though. By the time I'm done with him, restraints will pretty much be unnecessary..."

Aranha comes down, kicking for the grunt's head, but the muscle bound 'R' operative can take it. He raises his right arm and hits a button, causing a strong, metal shield to unfan over his arm. A mini riot shield as it were. The moment it's activated, he raises it up to intercept the kicks with it, bracing himself for impact but coming out mostly unscathed.

But he doesn't stop there, lunging forward with his shield arm first, he attempts to plant the shield right into Aranha's face with a stunning blow that doesn't even really leave him too open for retaliation.

Vyle chuckles, dropping back as the elbow drop lands on Brian's head. "Oh, really? Now, see...I have a problem with that..." Vyle snorts. Then the big man launches a kick straight for his ribs....

Only for the kick to be caught before it can even touch him. "Because for that to happen...I had to have made a mistake. Now, YOU..." he says, before hooking his arm underneath Brian's knee, then pushing forward, almost if trying to clothesline Brian down with his own leg, slamming him down into the floor. Lesson of the day: don't underestimate a man who can dodge bullets.

When he lands he doesn't have enough time to land cleanly and dodge. so he has to choose one. Unfortunately he chose to land cleanly and catches the shield to his face. Even if the attack landed, it doesn't seem to concern the fighter too much.

Aranha even though he got caught with the shield he spins with it since he was taught to respect the attack that was delivered. Using the momentum of the spin he whips around a blue glowing roundhouse followed by a chi engulfed spinning jump kick and then finishes it with a glowing backflip kick attempting to drive it down on the soldier's head.

Well, that was unexpected. And unpleasant. Being slammed to the ground was not on the schedule. "Hmph," the giant mutters, cigar still firmly caught between his teeth.

Kicking his legts up, Brian springs off his neck and back onto his feet. Quite a feat for a man his size. Forgoing any further comments, the former linebacker decides to just get on with the business of ending this upstart as fast as possible. The first step is reaching out to grab the smug bastard by the lapels. If he can do that, he can follow up with a maneuver that Vyle is likely familiar with, to an extent. As a former professional wrestler, being hefted off his feet and having his head spiked mercilessly into the mat by an opponent would've once been part of a typical day's work. Here, it's just a way to get put into traction real quick.

The shield bash delivered, ol' Crusher thinks he's got things well in hand. "Yeah, that's what I thought, /boy/." No where near the master of biting remarks Brian is, he sticks with what he's already seen work. Get 'em riled up, always makes it interesting after all.

What he wasn't ready for was the combination of kicks that come swinging around, crashing into his chest and head, sending him stumbing backward a little, rifle lowering as he just about slips on the WD-40 that sprayed out all over the deck near where the two are battling. "I see. Think you're real clever with all that twirling and spinning, don't you. Well, I got something for that."

Swinging the M-16 over his shoudler, letting it hang in place via the shoulder strap he had on from the get go, the man just flat out /charges/ Aranha next, attempting to tackle him to the ground. If he does, he'll follow up with some swings in on his face to drive home the point. "SUBMIT!"

Oh, yes, Brian manages to heft Vyle off his feet. That's easily enough. Keeping a hold of him....that's a whole other story. Once he's lifted to shoulder height, Vyle quickly manages to lock his legs around Brian's head, keeping himself from being driven down onto his head. Aranha considers dodging this one but the moment he sees soldier barreling towards him, he just considers his options. Dropping down into a quick sprall to keep him from taking him down on his terms. It's a surprising reaction considering he's a capoeirista and hasn't had a lick of training in grappling... Except maybe on the streets.

He quickly rises to his feet. He doesn't want the soldier to have time to recover and so he draws a foot back and tries to stomp him while he's down, Normally considered cheap in capoeira but right now Aranha doesn't give a damn. "Why should I? The only bitch on all fours I see is you."

Great. Hefting Vyle into the air turned out to be a bad idea. As Vyle wraps his legs around his neck, Brian attempts to straighten up, but Vyle's able to pull enough momentum to not only yank him to the ground, but somehow flip his massive form over. Again, the mountain of a man crashes to the deck, the impact causing the deck to buckle slightly. As the former linebacker rolls into a crouch, a dent in the shape of his shoulders is revealed in the Rhino-lined deck. Yet, still, that cigar remains clenched in his teeth, a scowl across his face. Reaching up, the 'R' enforcer places a finger to his ear, pressing a small button on an mic. "This is Fifty-Six," he mutters, keeping his guard as he radios in. "Send three more patrols. Vyle flips back to his feet, turning and smirking as Brian's forced to call for back up. "Oh, poor baby, can't handle one little man by himself, even with a big bad gun. So sad," he says, smirking before he tries to slink in closer, almost stalking after the former linebacker. "You know, I'm not exactly fond of this ship myself, but you know, people who point guns in my face just piss me off so....sucks to be you." Then, with a sudden poke at his throat, a retching sound, then a lurch forward, he sprays out a noxious looking cloud of green toward Brian's face, apparently trying to screw up his vision and face something fierce.

Crusher ain't no slouch as it turns out and when Aranha brings his foot swinging down to catch him while he's down the man drops into a combat roll and comes back up on his feet to the side. "Cute. You're a real charmer, kid. We'll talk about who's on all fours when I'm done twisting your limbs into little knots."

A glance over his shoulder shows him that things are going a bit rough for the Big B with Vyle but he hears the call for back up and grunts. That minor diversion might have cost him a great opening but he's not about let Aranha completely off the hook.

Turning toward the kick-centric fighter, he decides to take the younger man's primary weapons out of commission if possible. His legs. When he comes forward for another tackle, this time he goes low, his powerful hands reaching out to grab hold of Aranha's ankles. If he gets a grip, he'll literally pull the fighter clean off his feet and slam him down on the other side of him before moving both of his hands to one of Aranha's feet and /twist/ it in a direction it just isn't supposed to go. It's savege. It's brutal. And if it lands, it's effective. "HAH!"

Brian wasn't exactly looking at Vyle as he made his call. That doesn't mean he wasn't paying attention. As Vyle approaches, he still doesn't look at the man... up until that retching sound. His eyes snap straight at Vyle, his scowl deepening. As the cloud of green is suddenly sprayed in his face, the Texan explodes off his feet, twisting around in midair. Like a drill, he roars through the mist and into the man whom originated it, slamming his head into Vyle's midsection. The rotation also allows the man's immense hands to slam into the luchadore's face and knees repeatedly, until the momentum launches Vyle back, and Brian lands on his feet.

Wiping his face off, Brian pulls his cigar out of his mouth and tosses it overboard. "I'm gonna take the cost of that out of your hide."

Aranha's foot indeed is grabbed but Aranha drops his weight down getting his foot painfully jerked. He just couldn't take the risk of attempting to dodge it. It's as if the Invader is his perfect foil denying him his ideal strategy. Not that Aranha would openly admit it especially to this person.

Instead Aranha shakes his leg free and then runs once again, and he once more manages to climb the rigging and pulling himself up onto the high platforms. While he's up above he's going to study that soldier trying to figure the situation out before he makes any more attacks.

Up and up it follows him... And then, as Aranha begins to claim his perch on the platform, the 'R' soldier opens fire with the assault rifle, unloading the whole clip. His aim is to keep the fighter from getting up all together. If he can knock him back down to the ground... all the better. Lept upon, Brian takes a vew vicious punches to the face that seem to drive him to the ground. The giant slowly falls to his hands, putting Vyle back on his feet. Arms and legs look wobbly for a long moment as the former linebacker's head drops. Could this be over?

No, not really.

As Vyle's rip around his neck is finally released, Brian's head snaps up. As he snorts, the air from his nose is almost visible. The ghostly outline of bull horns trail off his head. He paws at the ground with his back leg for a moment before exploding off his four point stance, obviously aiming to run over Vyle in a one man stampede. This could get ugly. Especially since one pass is not enough for the man. Using the sides of the ship's deck to both stop and re-orient himselfas he rushes along, Brian turns around and continues his mad onslaught at Vyle a total of four times.

Aranha jumps from the platform twisting in mid air with his legs held straight and body folded at the waist before coming down upon him with a hard stomp. If all goes well he'll give the soldier a major headache.

Don't mess indeed. After releasing Brian from the headlock punch, Vyle backs up...only to see Brian ready for a massive tackle. And as he bursts forward, he tries to stop him cold with a back kick to the head....only to get caught before he can spin back, instead tackled repeatedly like a rag doll, sent over down the deck by the massive tackle.

The soldier detatches the clip from the rifle, allowing it to drop to the floor with a rattle as he fishes out a replacement clip from his belt and slaps it in with expert ease. "All right..." he growls, chambering the first round and slinging the rifle back over his shoulder.

The rearming is done in time for him to react to the young man coming back down for him though. Raising that arm of his to block with the small riot shield, the kicking expert's strike actually shatters through the defense even though Crusher keeps his block steady all the same. "Damn, son, dunno what dojo crapped you out, but you at least know how to kick. Too bad you ain't a hotshot at avoiding bullets," he laughs unpleasantly.

Reaching over his shoulder, he unstraps the shotgun attached there and takes a step forward, swinging it toward Aranha's stomach with the butt of the weapon, attempting to take the fight out of him and crumple him to the ground.

Aranha knows that he should be able to be able to dodge this. It's something that has been drilled into him over and over again. Somewhere along the line his execution is lacking which needless to say leaves him a bit surprised. Even if the rifle butt strikes him in stomach and it hurts like all get out. His will to fight hasn't been driven out of him yet.

Aranha's usual tactics don't seem to be working out for him but sometimes when the most logical action doesn't work the most sane and logical thing you can do something completely bat shit insane.

Aranha lifts his leg up and attempts to thrust the foot into Crusher's breadbasket as hard as he can. It's extremely telegraphed attack but so was the attack that he had just gotten hit with.

As Brian finally comes to a stop, he pauses for a moment, perking his ear to listen for the splash. Ah, there it is. Putting his hand to the mic, he says, "Someone check the water on the port side. If you see a body, use it for target practice." God, he loves his job.

But this encounter is more than just linebacker vs. luchadore. His partner in this excursion has his own problem to deal with, and it would behoove the Texan to assist him in taking care of it. Reaching out towards an open porthole, the mountain of a man takes hold of the steel window cover and wrenches it. It takes three hard pulls, but the heavy disc-like hatch finally breaks free, and Brian ponders it for a moment. Gripping it tightly, the man spins around once before letting the object fly like a discus. If he pings this thing off Aranha's head, he figures he'll end this thing pretty damn quick.

When the kick comes in for the 'R' soldier, Aranha gets to find out where the unshaven soldier got his nickname from. The sleek, black, combat shotgun is retracted after the butt of it was driven into the young man's stomach and the man prepares for the impact of the incoming kick, shaking his head before the foot even gets there. "Ah, ah-"

And then the kick hits home, driving into the man but doing nothing to slow him down at all. One hand releases its hold from the shotgun in order to clamp down on Aranha's ankle with a vice-like grip before pulling on it /hard/ in order to throw Aranha's balance into question. It's all that is necessary for him to lunge forward and slip around the teen fighter and bring the shotgun up over his throat, gripping it from behind with both hands again as he leans back and suplexes the Capoerist to the deck with crushing force behind him before finally releasing him from the brutal sequence.

"Now, you ought best to just stay down before my boss gets tired of me playing games with you." he mutters, hopping back up to his feet and priming the shotgun with an ominous sound. "We already took care of that other smart talking deck rat. This ain't nothing personal... We're just going to lock you up with the civvies and finish taking over this boat... I don't see why you gotta bleed for it." He takes a step to the side as if aware of Brian's attack without even looking over his shoulder, making way for the incoming, hurling disk of pain.

Aranha knew he hurt Crusher but it wasn't nearly as much as Crusher hurt him with that incredibly brutal gun suplex leaving a deep crater in the deck. In spite of all the pain he was feeling he still managed to get up to his feet.

He takes a deep breath but he doesn't get the time to enjoy it before a glass and metal frisbee os hurled at him. This time he is able to dodge leaning to the side as it flies past his head and then he looks at the situation. He's in a two on one. From what he's been able to see/hear while he was fighting the luchadore is that he hits hard. And judging from his condition he's looking like he's running on fumes. He realies it's in his best interest to make this fight a one on one again.

He runs along the wall before suddenly leaping off of it and launching himself feet first for Brian's head.

COMBATSYS: Brian blocks Aranha's Sky's the Limit.

Well, it may not have done any damage, but it certainly broke his concentration. Good.

Taking a step back after the portal is thrown, Brian watches Aranha with a slight smirk. He's already taken one out, so his bad mood has been slightly tempered. However, when the capoerista changes course and comes charging at him, the Texan's scowl quickly returns. Another couple steps back are taken before he puts his hand up, absorbing the two-footed kick with his massive palm. The stop once again puts a smile on Brian's face. For all of a second.

After all, he has to show that he, too, can take to the skies.

With an amazing display of acrobatic skill, Brian leaps up onto the wall, taking two steps up it before bounding off. Spinning around like a tornado of meat, he crashes down to the deck, hopefully with Aranha between him and it.

"We've got a squirrelly one on our hands here, boss," Crusher remarks to Brian as Aranha refuses to stay down and goes tearing off after him. That shotgun he primed is raised, the man loosely eying down the length of the barrel as he checks out his shot... Nope, can't fire without hitting Rugal's Big Muscle with some of the buckshot and for as tough as the hardened 'R' agent thinks he is, he ain't about to end up on Battler's bad side.

Lowering the shotgun, he clicks the safety on and slings it back over his back. "Awh hell," he growls, slipping a combat knife out of a sheath on his belt and charging toward Aranha. He isn't going to interfer with Brian's pancake making endeavor, but he's going to strike out when the opening presents itself with a well aimed stab that would hit the young man between his ribs. "Just don't know when it's best to stay still, do yah."

Aranha just seems to be drawing dead. Aranha knows he should be able to weave out of the way of the meat tornado but his timing once again is just a bit off and he's completely crunched by the agony that's named Brian Battler. And once that impact comes he just knows that there's no salvaging the fight which is why he doesn't bother with attempting to move out of the way of the knife. But he plans on atleast trying to make good his escape if he can't win.

Aranha's entire body begins glowing bright blue his entire form becoming a beacon. In both fighters taking it close up it allows him to do something crazy if he can pull it off.

COMBATSYS: Aranha can no longer fight.

Aranha starts out leaping feet first at Crusher but that isn't an attack. He actually just uses the soldier as a stepping stone before coming down in a streak of light on the football player. He bounces and forth between the two fighters, bounces off walls, leaps off platforms as he becomes a human chi engulfed pinball(or a six year old hopped up on pixie sticks).

The attacks by themselves aren't that damaging but when they are so numerous and coming all sorts of angles the damage piles up. After those attacks land, he leaps up performing yet another Armada Dupla on the football player but the point of this one isn't to crush Brian like the the more mundane version he used on the 'R' soldier. This time it's to use Brian as a platform to launch himself up and away before running off to find somewhere on the ship to hide.

Brian is a wall of humanity, and never more has it been shown than now, as the capoerista slams against him repeatedly like he was the playing wall on a squash court. Caught off-guard, the Texan can do little more than stand there as he's assaulted, then used as a surface to vault off of.

Brow furrowing, the former linebacker turns towards his teammate and nods. "Good work, Crusher," he says, making a mental note to suggest a bonus for the unshaven mercenary. Tapping the cargo pockets on his pants, he finds a metal cylinder and a small box of matches. Pulling them out, the mountain of a man removes the cigar kept safe within the metal container and lights it with a match, once again struck off his chin.

Sporadic gunfire is heard as the three squads radioed in arrive on the deck. The immense man turns to the group, nodding as they snap a quick salute to him. "Alright, guys. Our resistance has fled, I suggest you look for a rather messed up black man and make sure he remembers us. Place charges discreetly when you can... if this goes south, I want this boat sunk. Go."

And with that, the soldiers disperse. Brian puffs lightly at his cigar.

COMBATSYS: Brian has left the fight here.

He's seen this kinda thing before. A last ditch surge in power from those individuals that are a cut above the 'average' scrub he smears in his sleep. Crusher's not impressed. At least, not easily. When the young man comes for him, he re-sheaths that now bloody knife and unslings that shotgun again, a confident, smug expression on his face as he lefts the barrel, ready to pepper Aranha with an incredibly painful, flaming blast. "Sometimes it seems folks never learn..." And then he pulls the trigger.

Problem is Aranha, even in his beaten state, is a bit faster than the 'R" soldier gave him credit for. The explosive pellets go flying off into the nearby wall, missing Aranha completely, the shotgun having been struck to the side during the young man's assault. "Argh, damnit!" The follow up kicks that come next send him staggering, in spite his rugged, tough to take down nature.

He pumps the shotgun once and fires in the direction Aranha takes off in, but it's an errant blast that isn't going to hit the teen fighter before he's out of sight. Slinging the weapon back into its holster on his back, the man turns and pays attention to Brian with all the respect he would give Rugal himself. "Yes sir," he nods smartly to the compliment. With power like 'R' has brought to bear on this boat, is there any doubt that this mission is going to go off without a hitch?

COMBATSYS: Invader has ended the fight here.
