What, another fight already? After making his dramatic entrance onto the ship itself with Luc a week ago, he'd been out cold for two, maybe three days just due to sheer physical exhaustion. When he'd woken up... well, other than the surprise of being in his bunk with his, er, bunkmate tending to his wounds, he'd gotten his fight instructions. Barely in the shape one needed to be to fight, he'd gone anyway, and now it was time.
Being let in by the 'electrical crew', Hakuya practically stumbles into the makeshift fighting arena, blushing a bit in embarrassment as he isn't used to the cramped conditions of the sub. Bowing politely to his guide while rubbing the back of his head, he then turns to walk more into the hold, eyeing the machines that hum with their own brand of life. He also marvels a bit as, when he gets near to the machinery, the circuits begin to hum even more, electricity crackling softly in response to the Suigetsu heir's incidental chi being used to fortify himself against the pain he's feeling from his previous fight. He even jumps a little as an arc of weak electricity flares outwards, nearly slapping him in the cheek. "This place is dangerous..." he mutters to himself, frowning. Even so, he moves to get into a fighting position... and tries to get used to the cramped conditions. Now, just to wait for his opponent, assuming she wasn't here yet. Which could be a mistake.
So cute! Riko was just -too- cute in that little hard hat as she tried to explain the whole situation about some electrical problem. It was really hard for the witch to pay attention to the complex parts when the electrical crew did it in such an adorable fashion! Unfortunately though for Naerose, Riko is a ninja and fully capable of vanishing out of no where like that! Pssh.
Currently the person whom probably was mistaken for not an opponent, is dressed in a red 'tomb raider' knock off. The same one she wore last night with the mercenary queen Elle, which would make a cool anime title. Complete with the plastic water pistols and shorts and tank top and... wait a moment.
"Electricity?" exclaims the witch.
"Oh man wait a moment, I mean, most of everything I do then would cause.." She looks around, realizing only at that moment that this is going to probably suck. She peers at her opponent.
"Hey, so, how bout you cast up the white flag, throw in the towel, you know, because if you don't we'll both be cooked." The witch asks, adjusting her shades and flashing a winning smile. Last I checked, Lara Croft did not wear a hat or carry a broom. She didn't make a very good cosplayer.
Hakuya wasn't as distracted by Riko's attire, and perhaps unfortunately, he's not distracted by what his opponent is wearing, either, when she introduces himself. Odd for a teenage boy, huh? Turning around as he hears talking, his eyes settle on the girl across from him, and he tilts his head. Witch hat, broom, and 'short' attire. Ooookay. He makes a small, very Japanese bow to the other fighter, but then blinks at her suggestion.
"You are asking me to give up...?" he asks, looking confused. Reaching a hand back to rub the back of his head, he frowns, and then shakes his head. "Um... I'm really sorry, but I can't do that. If I lost, I would likely be kicked out of the tournament, and I still have things I want to do here." Shifting into a fighting stance with his hands up, unclenched, palms facing towards Naerose. "If you are worried about being electrified, however, you can give up. I would prefer not to fight, anyway!" he says, and offers an oddly cheerful smile in return to Naerose's winning one.

Damnit, she kind of figured that would happen. Though this was the second time she tried to talk her opponent into quitting, the second time out of two. Not a great track record. So far they've given the same sort of answer too. One said something about being honorable and good, this one about finishing the competition. Okay, well she wasn't going to give up without a serious effort.
"Yeah, but, I might get hurt, unless you surrender, cause there is all this electricity.."
Probably not gonna work.
"Eh, you don't seem to be buying it." Naerose says and gives a little sigh. She presses her lips together.
"Okay, can't fling chi, can't zip on the broom. . Take this you frenchie!"
With that the witch figures she'd do what you do in an electric place, she draws her water pistols and takes some shots at Hakuya.
"Oh now I'm totally a tomb raider."

In fact, that might've worked, had Hakuya not been a little determined, for once, to actually get something done. His whole purpose in this tournament was simply to find out what Seishirou was up to, and the more he saw around this boat (like the odd markings) the more he was concerned. Still, the comment about Naerose getting hurt just makes him smile apologetically. And then, he's shot at with... water pistols?
Not caring a whole lot about water getting on him, Hakuya just charges forward, raising his arms to block the water streams. Unfortunately, while such an attack wouldn't normally hurt at all, the electricity + water thing tends to make things a bit more difficult. Only minor amounts of sparks flare up, but even so they sting! Nevertheless, Hakuya still rushes on, intent on closing the distance between himself and Naerose. Once he reaches her, he pulls his arm back, and moves to strike with a palm at her face. Unfortunately, this is only a feint, meant more to distract from Hakuya's leg, which attempts to slide past Naerose's, sweeping them out from under her.

And then comes the first time Naerose gets to feel the shock. Mainly in how it jumps from her opponent to her and makes her go 'ouch'. Well that was unpleasant as unpleasant can be. The whole being swept and hitting the electrified ground sucks, but the whole electrified ground sucks even more. The water pistols didn't help that much.. The witch has to pick herself to her feet. Take a moment. She gets to her feet.
"Don't use much chi do you," Asks the witch, assessing her opponent. She doesn't attack. Not yet, not right now, it would be better, she figures, to wait, after all, one wrong move and. . .
She does however take the time to adjust her hat and shades so they sit better.

Down the witch goes, and Hakuya dances backwards, feet shuffling in order to bring him backwards and away from his opponent. Obviously quite used to the fact that people tend to attack him while they're down, he backs off enough that it's easy for Naerose to regain her feet and settle herself again. Moreso when Hakuya actually stops to smile a little vacantly at his opponent, nodding his head and helpfully saying, "My style relies primarily on physical strength." And obviously, to demonstrate this, he's willing to attack her! Stepping forward again, his arms reach out to attempt to grab her, settling at her wrist and hip. If successful, he'll pull her forward by the wrist, while putting his hand against her stomach, flipping her up, over, and past him in a throw. But it doesn't stop there! As she's moving towards the floor, he'll raise his knee to strike her as she's falling, kicking her back up into his hands, so he can move her up and over himself in another throw, this time, a suplex, meant to slam her back into the ground.

Okay.. That didn't work. She gets the knee, gets the suplex and bang, more shocking. All of a sudden she is forced to think of ghost busters, the part where they are doing psychic tests with the cards and there is the shocks when you guess wrong. Well.. She wasn't gonna let that happen to her.. As she picks herself up and mutters in some degree of pain.
"Ugh.. I so should of known better than to come down here without my rubber shorts on." Yes, rubber shorts, why didn't she think of rubber shorts. Not knowing in advance what would be happening was one good reason.
"Well.. I gotta say, I'm not so bad at a phyisical match myself but.." She pauses a moment in thought." Seems you got that part down pack." She murmurs to herself while adjusting her shades, then with a sudden charge, tries to ram her opponent into the wall.

Hakuya seems to be feeling almost bad, here. As he suplexes Naerose, and then hoists himself back to his feet, shuffling backwards from the woman, he pauses. Though his guard doesn't drop, he does give her time to get back up. "Err... I'm sorry," he says. Reaching a hand back to rub the back of his head, he grimaces a little, looking quite apologetic. He doesn't go so far as to say 'you can forfeit anytime you like' as he's aware that sort of stuff tends to wound pride pretty good, but it's almost dead obvious that that is what he's thinking. Regardless of that, Naerose's answer to the unspoken offer seems to be clear when she seeks to suddenly shouldercheck him into the wall.
There's little room to dodge in these halls, and there wasn't time to block, so all Hakuya had left to him was to go with the flow. The shoulder hits him, and throws him into the wall, causing him to grunt out in pain, particularly as those electrical sparks flare up all around him in a soft blue light show. "Argh!" he cries out, but more surprising still might be his fast recovery time. Pushing himself from the wall, he seeks to grab the other fighter by her shoulders, and then stiffly raise his knee again to drive it into her stomach, before pushing her away.

And Naerose gets drilled.. again.
This time it slams her into the back wall. This causes a dent to appear behind her and well.. It really blows. And to make worse even worse, her water gun breaks. Causing her to well, get soaked. A seriously wet witch in a puddle of water being shocked like a mofo.
"Forget it! " exclaims Naerose.
"Forget the stupid rules.. " She picks up the other water gun and hurls it at Hakuya, but more intending, it would seem to make a puddle of water that would hopefully cover the entire area.
"You wanna play like that.." She demands, still getting a fairly steady shock.

Now he really felt bad. Stopping as Naerose gets tossed back into the wall, he keeps his guard up still, but waits, once more, for her to get back up. Not saying anything as she starts to get angry, he waits... and, well, that probably was a bad idea, in hindsight. The water gun gets chucked at him wholesale this time, and it takes him a moment to even parse what it is that he should be doing, since he's getting hit with such a... unusual item. But while he takes his time to do that, the water gun is still in flight, and thus it pegs him pretty soundly in the face! Water splashes over him, getting him nice and wet, and the plastic even manages to tear at the skin just below his eye, causing a minor scar to form, bleeding pretty good due to an injuried capillary.
Wincing with a slight, growled expression of pain, Hakuya holds his hand briefly to his face, before he decides to charge in to Naerose, rushing at her. The spectrasensitive circuitry around him begins to explode into another light shower as he moves quickly down the hallway to the witch, following after him with an impressive display of sparks and lightning crackles. As he moves to strike, he reaches an arm out to attempt to clothes line her, scooping her up and then suddenly stopping, twisting in place and transfering all of his kinetic energy to her as he wheels about a full 180, throwing her back to the floor, if all goes well.

Where can someone dodge in a room this small? Very little up space, very little side to side space. She simply gets on her broom, and yes, she is using chi, how else would said broom support her weight. But then, she isn't touching the ground, she's in the air. Sure she'll be a ball of electricity racing toward her, but then there is the ground. . Soaking wet, her opponent, soaking wet. She might of summoned the chi, but lets face it, whose your daddy?
"Take this and this and this!" she exclaims, kind of unsure herself if her attack is just turning up the juice on the room or actually somehting with her broom. On second thought, the only way to make this electrical light show more unpleasant for her opponent would be to move it closer. So she shoots off on her broom at him.
"This is gonna be so awesome," she states before trying to grab her opponent and ram him into every electrical surface she can, dragging him around the ground and just being an utter meanie when it comes to playing with the lights.

Well, that's more like it! Who's afraid of a little electricity, anyway? The fight gets more interesting as the witch shows the hat isn't just for show by levitating herself up off the ground, away from his grabbing arm. Blinking in surprise, he pivots on his feet, twisting in place as he wears out his kinetic energy on doing a rolling turn, so he can keep his eyes on his opponent. After all, if she could do stuff like that, why not do it before? Nerve-wracking, so it was! But unfortunately, not used to the new method of movement, when Naerose swoops down to grab him, he's got little choice but to be grabbed.
Slammed into every surface that can be seen, he grunts at each slam, his arms crossing over his chest and face, his legs pulling up as well. As he's slammed about, it's all he can do to ride with the motions Naerose puts him through, though it's made a little difficult by the sparks and electrical arcs that flare up at him being shoved into walls, since he's so drenched in water, now. However, as Naerose slows down, Hakuya's own hand reaches for her wrist, despite the rough slam shuffle he just went through. Attempting to yank her off the broom and into a wall, the fun doesn't just stop there. Picking her back up, he'll do pretty much the same thing she did to him, slamming her into random walls, the floor, all that, until he finishes with his attack by throwing her straight up into the catwalk above them, then letting her fall to the floor on her own.

She wasn't expecting to get yanked off her broom. Then she gets slammed against walls. Okay, that was totally deserved, afterall, she did that to him right? But tthat meant there would be more electricity. And with the water everywhere, if she summoned chi it would harm everyone. It was the only way, hurt your opponent evenly, that was the point of the water, even the playing field. So she wasn't going to hold back.
In her hands the witch begins to charge a significant amount of energy, the effort, yes, causing the area to just glow with electricity.
"Heh.. It's amazing you took those attacks without getting shocked.." She of course IS getting shocked, but that would dance all through the water, yes it was perfect.
"En Criento!" Exclaims the witch and unleashes a crazy torrent of chi, letting water and electricity just dance everywhere on everything.

Panting a little as he completes his series of throws, he moves back a little from Naerose, just like usual. Holding up his arms, he waits for her to rise once more, but this time, finally, she manages to send some chi at him. Eyes widening slightly, he just does the only thing he can think to do, and raises his arms in an X while hunching his body down, tensing all muscles he possibly can. The torrent of 'crazy chi' hits him dead on, slamming against his arms. But in addition to that, the electricity flaring up and lurching at the chi wave strikes him too. Being slammed at by a chi wave and being shocked can't be good for Suigetsu... but as the smoke clears, he's still standing. Parts of his clothes are actually on fire in small bits, and smoke and steam from pressure and heat rise off him. Panting from the effort he just expended to keep himself standing, he uncrosses his arms, and straightens out, though still staggers a bit. "O-ow..." he manages, then looks to Naerose. "Not... not bad!"
"Ah hahah hahah hahah!" Exclaims the witch as she places a hand in the puddle. She's on her back, but.. While she's conscious, . . .
"I so got you right where I want you, now you're dropped your guard and still in the water an. . " She lets go a little chi in the water, of course she's out of energy, she's out of strength, it was going to be the absolute end of her energy ,she'd be unconscious an shocked to hell and back, all she needed to do was 1, be in pain. . She was, 2, use her chi, didn't have much of that left and 3, it took a lot of focus just to stay awake. End result? This room GLOWS! Now was probably the time to raise your flag and run.
Of course the witch wouldn't know if you did cause at this point she was totally dreaming of sugar plums.
