Description: It's Interactive Insanity at the Slam Master's Arena, as Maki and D! fight it out...with a host of bold would-be fighters jumping into the fray to make things a LITTLE more complicated!! (Draw Match)
It's Saturday Night at the SlamMasters Arena, and it's packed to the full capacity with wild fans who are here to see some rowdy action in the ring in the center of the arena. They're all cheering wildly, some of them holding up signs showing their support for their favorite fighters. Others are just holding generic giant souveniers or things that proclaim their love for Metro City (or whatever their hometown is.)
"Ladies and gentlemen," A tuxedo clad young man with a microphone says after a few moments, "Tonight the SlamMasters Arena will be hosting a new type of event. Rather than having the two combatants go at it head-to-head, some audience members will be allowed to interfere as well."
(Mind you, these audience members signed waivers for any possible injuries and what not. In return, extra medical teams have been set up though.)
"First off, hailing directly from Metro City, please welcome your hometown hero, Maki Genryusai!" At that, the music starts to play, along with special effects, and walking down to the ring is Maki, waving to the fans who are cheering wildly for her. She makes her way into the ring, finding herself a tad bit surprised to find that it's not got any ropes and that it's lower to the ground than before. In addition, some audience members are sitting closer to the ring than they should be. Apparently, this is going to be a lot of fun for Maki. She steps over to her corner and begins to stretch a little, preparing herself for the fight.
This is an odd little addition to your usual match. D!'s not exactly sure about this either, since he's used to the distinctly one-on-one nature of boxing matches, and most organized street fights. Still, D! makes his way into the ring, warily looking over toward the closer of the audience members, the ones most likely to jump in and meddle with the fight. He too is surprised when the ring is ropeless, frowning. This is going to take some getting used to. Still, he climbs in, looking over toward Maki. "So we're both in a fray again, huh?" he calls over to the boisterous ninja. This is definitely going to be an...unorthodox fight.
"Indeed, we're both in the fray," Maki replies as she finishes her stretching. She looks around and sees that some of the audience members are gathering closer to the ring, apparently prepared to join the action at any moment. But that's not going to happen untill the bell rings. Which, ironically, happens just a moment after that thought occurs. With that, Maki gets into her fighting stance and gives a gesture as if to say, 'Come on!'

Well...if Maki's holding back for now...D! might as well start the thing off. Once the bell rings, D! comes in, paying no mind, for now, to the audience members closing in on the ring. They probably won't jump in until the fighters are already busied with each other (at least the smart ones anyways). Approaching Maki with a quick step, D! starts off with testing jabs, trying to keep pressure on Maki for now lest she get to comfortable in the opening minute.

With a quick raising of her arm, Maki absorbs the blow with her forearm, which does hurt a little, but it probably hurt Heavy D more than it did her, since that's a hard place to hit. But given that it's a swift attack, it's obvious that it's time to start playing for real. Maki swings her tonfa towards Heavy D!'s stomach.

The tonfa strike is quickly stopped as D! drops his arms, cushioning the blow on his forearms. It hurts, but it's better than getting punked in the stomach. The fans continue to approach, D! giving them a quick glance, before he snaps out with another attack himself, driving in to grab at Maki and hold her still at her collar with one hand, the other hand tightening into a fist to hammer at her stomach repeatedly.

Just as Heavy D! goes to grab Maki by the collar, the blonde ninja pivots to the side, meaning that the grab goes right by her and Heavy D! only ends up grabbing air. Normally Maki would laugh at her opponent and say something along the lines of, "You missed me!" But she doesn't. Instead, she does down onto one hand in a way that she's pretty much balancing on her tonfa, and then spins around in a circle with her leg outstretched!

At this point, the fans start to get bold...and one or two finally slide into the ring, though still hestitant and waiting on the other side, as the two real fighters duke it out. When Maki spirals out with her leg to spin kick at D!, the boxer charges in, taking the shot high on his back. Shrugging off the blow, D! comes in hard, winging out a sharp straight shot to Maki's chest, trying to push her back, possibly into the gathering crowd of wannabe fighters.

A couple of rowdy fans get too close to Maki and grab onto her, which is a bit annoying for her since she's got a punch coming right at her. In a desperate choice, Maki tenses herself up to absorb the blow. The plan works in more ways than one, since not only has she got a rush of adrenaline from taking the blow, but the impact was passed on to the rowdy fans, who get knocked off of her.
Without missing a beat, Maki turns to face Heavy D! once again, and brings her Tonfa back to put a bit of 'oomph' into it, before swinging it extra hard at Heavy D!

This time, the fans finally come in, distracting D! enough that the tonfa swing comes in before he can stop it cold. Grunting as he reels back, he rather rudely pushes away the fans behind him, rather not in the moode to deal with them physically. Instead he keeps focus on Maki, coming forward and reeling his right hand back...before the left hand comes down behind the feint, trying to smack the ninja with an overhand punch to the collar.

The fist gets nothing but air as Maki jumps backward a little to avoid the incoming strike, which would've hurt bad since she's been hit in the collarbone before. While it's never been broken, it still hurts like the devil, and Maki's not in the mood for pain.
She finds herself being mobbed by a few more rowdy fans, jumping onto her and trying to pull her down to the ground. In a desperate move while trying to get them off, Maki throws a swift right kick towards Heavy! D's shin.

D! has the same problem, fans mobbing him and trying to get their shots in. He's able to throw them off, forced to actually slug one finally. Of course, that's when Maki decides to come in with her low kick. D! tries to intercept her, arm reeled back for an lunging punch...but the kick hits first, stemming his forward momentum, and causing him to trip up, falling off to Maki's side with a grunt. Sure, he's quick to get up, but it's still a good hit...and it still leaves him open not only to the fans mercy, but more importantly, Maki's own.
Maki steps back, preparing for her next attack, only to find herself being pulled to one knee by a fan who snuck on her and pulled on her leg. With a shout, she kicks him off and includes a nasty glare to back it up. She then turns to Heavy D! and watches him to see what his next plan of action is.

Heavy D! unfortunately has the deal with the fans moreso than Maki, actually forced to get his legs into the mix and shove a few away with his boots to get back to his feet. And as such, he's forced to back up to get his head back as well. Fighting in a state like this, it's going to take a lot more than just charging though.

As soon as the last fan is off of Maki's back, literally since they jumped onto her back again, she turns to Heavy D! and decides that it's time for some more action.
Maki gets a running start, then does a quick jump and then does a one-eighty somersault and attempts to grab Heavy D! by the shoulders and throw him to the ground.

Unfortunately, D! can't stop himself getting tossed down, as Maki manages to grab him just as he finally starts his charge forward again, sending him back down and skidding across the ring. Thankfully, most of the fans know well enough to get the hell out of the way lest they get bowled over like pins. Grunting in pain, D!'s manages to get himself up after landing hard on his knees awkwardly. Gritting his teeth, he decides to bypass the fans best he can, weaving through in and out, before trying to take Maki's head off with one hell of a left hook to the temple.

Feel the whoosh of the punch go by as Maki steps to the side once again. It's good being a ninja, since your feet are rather quick and able to get you out of danger when the situation arises. And right after dodging that punch, Maki swings her tonfa vertically towards Heavy D's chin.

Again, D! seems to suffer with the whole clusterfunk, as his attempted weave through only leaves him with a winging, wild punch that Maki manages to dodge...and his attempt to dodge ends up cut off by the crowd, the hit ringing him back with a nasty snap of his head. HIs momentum severely halted, D! finds himself forced back into a breather, fatigue starting to set him fierce, as if his problems weren't enough...

Heavy D can rest as long as he wants, but he'd better keep his eyes open as well, since Maki's still got a lot of fight left in her. Not only for him, but also for the fans trying to mob her now, apparently unhappy that she's got the upper hand. Apparently they're not from Metro City or something. As she throws one off, she gets an idea as she backflips onto the head of another fan holding her from behind, and then rebounds off of him while flying at Heavy D with a swift jump kick.

The kick, thankfully, is stopped by D!'s forearms, his defense finally coming into play. Grunting in pain thanks to the accumulated damage already though, he stumbles back a little, before finally coming back in, rushing in with a sharp shot to aimed at her face. Damned if he'll be counted out yet.

Again the fist comes at Maki, and she intends to dodge it again. But this time, she's off by a few milliseconds, and ends up getting hit in the face. She staggers backwards, rubbing the side of her face in pain as she tries to put it out of her mind. It stings a bit, and while Maki's still got a bit of fight left in her, she doesn't think she should use it all up at once. Instead, she steps back, knocking a few fans away with her tonfa, and focuses on catching her breath.

Eager to keep things up, now that he got in a good hit, D! comes in quick, pushing the rowdy wannabe fans out of the way and making a beeline toward Maki. With a grunt of exertion, he comes in hard and fast with a low hook, meant to clip her legs and send her sprawling, followed by a finishing overhead punch aimed directly into her sternum.

As the punches come at Maki, she raises her guard to block them. Her forearms absorb the damage, although it still hurts a bit, and she's sent backwards a little. Fortunately, she's not affected by the fan behind her, who's caught off guard by her staggering and is knocked down. Maki turns and winks at him a little as if to say, "Nice try!" Before turning to face Heavy D again. She takes a deep breath and blows it out, and then rushes at Heavy D!, ready to deliver a swift flurry of tonfa strikes and kicks.

Thankfully, D!'s finally got his rhythm back. When she charges in and rushes him with the mass of tonfa strikes and kicks, he manages to deflect each one. The final strike, he manages to evade, letting a fan take the business end of it. He's not proud of that, but still, it's a fight, and he still has to win. Coming after Maki again, he drives after her with several hard hooks, full strength behind each one as he tries to work up her ribs, until he finishes off with an uppercut that will send her reeling if he can tag her chin with it.

A ninja can't always dodge attacks, and Maki proves that once again as she's hit with the series of blows that leaves her laying on the canvas a bit dazed and out of it. Several fans mob to her jeering her and taunting her, only to be driven off by the referee who begins a ten count. But Maki's back on her feet at the count of four, albeit using her tonfa to help prop her up a little. Her nose is bleeding now and her right eye shows signs of swelling. But nevertheless, she's not giving up just yet. She steps toward Heavy D! and attempts to grab him by the shoulders and throw him onto the canvas.

D! may have tagged Maki hard and sent her down for a count...but it's not enough to keep her down, and when she steps back up and grabs for him, he can't react quick enough to avoid being tossed down nastily onto the canvas. Grunting in pain, barely manages to pull himself up, getting a count of his own. However, when he stands up, his fist is glowing, having apparently used the time in getting up to focus his chi into his right hand. Without warning, he snaps out, trying to drive an explosive punch right into Maki's chest, releasing every ounce of energy built up at full extension, hopefully sending her down for good....it's a good thing the fans knew enough to get the hell out of the way once they saw the glow...

With a swift shift of focus, Maki watches the attack coming at her, and when the time is right, she leaps out of the way, landing squarely on both feet. However, she drops to one knee as she lands, a sign of weakness on her part. Not to mention yet another rowdy fan gets on her back, but fortunately several of her supporters pull them off. This gives Maki a chance to rest.

Seriously...what does it take to get that move to hit? In any case, finding himself a bit spent after putting so much into that punch, only to have it explode out and hit nothing (except maybe the protective railing outside of the ring, D! falls back, whipping aruond to try and find where Maki dodged off to. Pushing off a few fans as they try and grab him, and weaving away from another couple, he finally finds Maki, coming straight for her with another sharp punch meant to drive her down further onto her knees.

Again Maki gets out of the way, and again she takes the time to fend off a few fans before looking at her opponent again. After sizing him up, she decides to balance on her tonfa and utilize her signature spinning kick again.

Grunting, D! barely manages a defense again as he brings his arms up to stop the kick. However, his forearms are starting to look quite bruised at this point, and from his heavy breathing, it's not hard to see he's in a fairly bad state. Still, he's not done, and with a big lunge, he snaps out an uppercut toward Maki, hoping to tag her chin just as she lands from the spin kick. "NGHYHHHAAH!"

The very moment the uppercut comes, Maki leaps onto HeavyD's shoulders and throws him to the ground in a swift motion. That's not to say she doesn't get hit. In fact, the punch connects just as Maki jumps, meaning she's hit in the jaw as well. So it's a give and take thing.
Looks like D! took the worse side of that hit unfortunately. However, he's still in it, if only barely. Getting up just as the ref counts 9, he stumbles back, forced to take a bit of a breather again as he tries to figure out how to keep in this fight, considering Maki still seems to have the upper hand.

That's it, just take a breather. Namely since Maki's a bit caught up in a fan that's trying to rip part of her outfit off for reasons unknown. Fortunately, a swift forward bend throws the fan off of her. Too bad it might not work too well for Heavy D, since Maki's coming at him fast with a kick aimed at his stomach.

Thankfully, D!'s not so out of it as to be a sitting duck. When Maki kicks, he's able to weave his body out of the way, stepping aside, and leaning away from the kick before it can bury itself in his stomach. Snapping back like a rubber band, he drive out a fist toward her head, hoping to rock it just below her ribs and take her breath away.

Even in her weakened state, Maki can still avoid a few punches like it's nothing. But that doesn't mean her shortness of breath won't show. In fact, she's forced to catch her breath right after that, but gets back into her fighting position just in time to knock a fan away from behind with an unintentional headbutt.
"Looks like I've truly underestimated you," Maki says, before dashing at Heavy D and attempting to deliver a swift combination of a quick strike of the tonfa, followed by a jab to the body, a vertical swing of the tonfa, and then a roundhouse kick to round it all off. (Sorry!)

It seems that the fatigue has taken its toll on both Maki AND D!, as D! manages to stumble his way out of Maki's path as she sends out her combination. Grunting as he stumbles back into a fan again, he tries to get them out of the way before he drops down, throwing out a sharp uppercut and sending a blast of chi erupting in front of him toward Maki.

With little agility left in her, Maki finds it in her best interest to raise her arms to block the incoming attack. And it's a good thing there are no fans behind her, because she staggers back a few feet this time. But she's not ready to admit defeat just yet. Instead, she focuses all of her energy and then jumps into the air and flies at Heavy D! with a swift jump kick that's rather fast.

Instead, however, Maki finds D! charging in. As the kick flies in, D! lunges out, arm extended and wrapped in chi as he collides with Maki. THe kick manages to hit along his shoulder, but D! still manages to bury the extended punch into Maki's chest. Hopefully, she took the brunt of the attack harder than he did, as he can feel his legs weaken after that last hit.
Maki finds herself getting hit hard, and she goes backwards a bit, and when she stops moving, she starts staggering around, trying to keep herself from falling. Yet her legs feel like jelly and her vision is blurring. It looks like she's going down for the count. But as she goes down, she brings her tonfa up for one last strike.

Alas, D!'s luck finally runs out. As Maki snaps out her tonfa down, D! gets hit as he tries to weave out of the way...and goes the wrong way, struck right in his sternum. Grunting, D! finally falls down, vision blurring as his the ref starts his count. SOon enough, he reaches 10, and the result is official: DOUBLE KO!
As the referee realizes what's happened, he makes a double waving gesture over his head to indicate a double knockout. At that, the crowd starts awwing, a few of them booing. A good group of them go over to Heavy D! to check on him, as apparently he's got his fans here. A lot more of the crowd rushes over to Maki to check on her. The crowd will find that they're being shooed away by medical teams who are assessing the injuries of both fighters.
Maki's conscious, but just barely. She's helped onto a stretcher and put onto it in a seated position because of her bloody nose. As she's wheeled out of the stadium, she looks to the crowd and gives a faint smile and a thumbs-up, which sends them into a round of applause.
Heavy D! is carted off on a stretcher himself much like Maki. He's barely conscious, but like Maki he also gives the crowd a sign that he's ok, throwing up a fist straight into the air as he's sent to the back for treatment. So there's no winner...at least the crowd got into the action, and they got a hell of a fight out of things. Howard Enterprises might need to rethink the idea of the crowd getting into the fray though for reference...
