SNF 2007.07 - Six Flags! Ryuujin vs Ichiro

Description: Ryuujin Hyaku and Ichiro Oe meet atop a deadly rollercoaster for a most extreme battle. (Winner: Ryuujin)

COMBATSYS: Ryuujin has joined the fight here on the left meter side.

COMBATSYS: Ichiro has joined the fight here on the right meter side.

Six Flags; It's a rather nice place to be, all things considered, and Ryuujin was apt to explore the surrounding area of his own accord. He invited Eva, but whether she came or not is ambiguous as the player happens to be totally missing for a few days, so such will disappear into a well of unknowns. Suffice to say, he's sampled the overpriced and less then pristinely crafted wares, and had more interest watching the rides and the reactions of those upon them then bothering to try. It's been a pleasant couple of hours, likely to be ended in a hopefully amusing battle. The snaking ride, called the Sidewinder, whirls around in the facsimile of a snake, coiling and wrapping about itself for hundreds of yards. The area where Ichiro and Ryuujin are to fight is rather high up; A couple hundred feet from the ground, and near a barrel-roll. It offers about five feet width, which is likely an advantage to both choices of fighting. The three-car roller coaster itself idles for the time being, with a rattler upon the end in a rather and the front shaped like an open fanged serpent. Many people are gathered below, likely hoping to see someone run over and fall. Many cameras are attached to temporary stands, connected to the base; Immune from the whisking car that will likely offer little options to avoid for both parties. Stretching out within his voluminous and artistic pants, Ryuujin would manage a rather deep and respectful bow to Ichiro when he arrives, having already settled himself up here some time before. "Ichiro Oe. You are new to the fighting scene, but I am interested in your unique adaptation of Lacrosse. I hope the height does not make you uncomfortable... Please note, I have no intent of trying to make you fall off the side."

Wow, so this is the United States! Ichiro has traveled to Europe and other places in Asia before, but this is the first time that he's had a chance to travel across the Pacific Ocean, and without his parents, no less! And that isn't the only first in young Oe's life today, no, today is Ichiro's debut Saturday Night Fight match! To even make it this far as a fighter is quite the honor.
Drawing many strange looks as he wanders the theme park dressed in full lacrosse gear, the Japanese teen looks rather out of place as he makes his way towards the large rollercoaster ride that he is actually supposed to /fight on/. No one ever accused Saturday Night Fights of lacking in flair. Giving the coaster a weary look as the SNF officials instruct him on how to reach the spot where the fight will take place, Ichiro buckles the chinstrap of his mask-less modern hockey style helmet and adjusts the San Jose Stealth National Lacrosse League jersey he is wearing over his shoulder pads; he thought wearing something paying homage to one of this countries sports teams might be a nice touch. This rollercoaster is certainly much larger than any back home at the Dream Amusement Park.
"Well... if nothing else this should be a pretty exciting experience," he tells himself as he climbs on to the track of the coaster and walks towards his opponent. Pulling on his padded gloves and drawing his crosse, the proper name for a lacrosse stick, from the loop on his back, Ichiro exhales deeply and turns to a bank of cameras at his side. "Hi guys!" he exclaims as he waves excitedly to his friends back home, "Taiyo High RULES!" he adds with an emphatic thumbs up, so emphatic that he loses his balance a bit with the last word, causing his hands to shoot out to the side cautiously. Unsurprisingly, this track isn't really suited to walking on. This might be bad news for Ichiro with his fast-paced nonstop style of fighting. Turning to Ryuujin as he is spoken to, Ichiro returns the bow. "Looks like you know more about me than I do you, friend!" he says with a confident smile. "Hopefully I'll be able to give you a good show of what lacrosse is all about!" Oh, and as for the height? "Oh. Psh. Naw! I'm fine with heights," he says as he slightly loses his balance once more. "Juuust fine... Oh, and yeah, I don't want to see you fall off either," he adds with a friendly, albeit weak smile.

The teenager who operates this ride as his summer job doesn't get paid much, and the job kind of sucks since he has to stand out in the hot sun all day long, but there are occasional perks. One of them is having a pretty up close view of the action during the fight. About as close as he can get without actually being /on/ the tracks. And being on the tracks isn't going to be very safe in a few moments.
That's the other perk. Getting to potentially cause some real violence without having to do much in the way of real work. These guys are fighters, it's not like anybody is /really/ going to get hurt. The kid pulls one lever, causing the chest restraints in the rollercoaster car to lower into the safety position. A quick pull of another level and the car jerks into life, slowly rolling forward along the track. These rides always start out slow, but the fun is soon to come. Well... If there was anybody riding in it they'd be having fun, at least.

There is little response given to both the statement or the wobble that falls, beyond momentary concern. Utterly lacking in ridicule, it would seem, although Ryuujin is navigating the precarious terrain with somewhat unreal ability, shifting his unclad feet between the rungs and bolts without looking as if subconsciously aware of where each potential snag might be. "There is little to know about me. I am Ryuujin Hyaku, humble practitioner of Onryudo. An ancient meditative style focused on complete body control. Much like you, I hope to make a name for myself upon the fighting circuit." Slowly he flows into a rather aggressive stance, although completely lacking in tension and with a blank expression. Fingers spread, jaggedly curled. His long braid whisks behind in the subtle motion, looking to be already prepared. "I admit to being curious how you have adopted the style to fighting. I am quite familiar with the sport in technicality, but admit to having seen it very little." Then there is just the mildest smiles, as he gestures with a jerk of his chin. "You seem at a disadvantage up here. Come; You may have the first move." The car jerking to life far below is noted, and inwardly calculated. Hmm. He has at least 23 seconds before it arrives. But he could be slightly off...

COMBATSYS: Ryuujin takes no action.

"Onryudo, huh?" Ichiro asks. "I've never heard of it, but I don't know much about martial arts," he admits. "Sounds cool though!" Glancing down at his sneaker clad feet as the rubber soles stand ridged on the metal rails beneath, Ichiro is thankful that he left the cleats at home at least. "Yeah, uh... I just gotta get used to the footing, you know..." he replies as the coaster car lurches to a start below them. Oh right. He'd forgotten about that part. "...I'll be fine. Thanks for the courtesy though!" he says with a warm grin. Reaching into the backpack on his back, Ichiro draws a solid rubber ball, a little smaller than a baseball, as tosses it into the air a few times casually.
"It wasn't as hard as you think, adapting Lacrosse," Ichiro says offhand as he catches the ball in the pocket of his crosse. "It's a very physical sport. You should see a game sometime. I'm planning on going to a Stealth game in California on my way back." Twirling the shaft of the crosse in his hands a few times, Ichiro glances over at the cameras once more. "Well, I guess that's enough talk, the home audience is waiting for some action!" And besides, that coaster car will be here soon! Grabbing the crosse with both hands, Ichiro whips the stick forward, sending the rubber ball zinging straight for Ryuujin's head. It's not a very powerful throw, but it just might give Ryuujin a sense of what's to come.

COMBATSYS: Ryuujin dodges Ichiro's Thrown Object.

"It is a dojo in the mountains. Few know of it, but it is thousands of years old, and said to be descended from the teachings of dragons." Stated with an air of pleasant affection for the myth, more then anything else. That it's unique is no lie, however. As the ball is procured, Ryuujin shifts closer, lifting up to rest on the very front of his feet, leaning his center of balance towards the Lacrosse player. "Are you...? I might be interested in seeing that. I have heard it is akin to Rugby, in that it is very strenuous compared to mainstream sports. What I have seen would confirm that." And not surprisingly, a ball is flung in his direction. Eyes widen a bit, but he twists to the side a bit further then most might care to, unless they were absolutely sure of footing. Apparently he is, as he manages to not tumble off, and advances quickly. The short distance between is breached in a heartbeat, Ryuujin whipping out his hand and attempting to impact Ichiro rather hard in the chest. A focused kinetic blow, meant to bypass muscles entirely and instead ravage the nervous system and internal organs. The heavy absorbing armor would bear little use to that, but the sudden backflip is another matter – heels seeking to strike into his face rather hard, twisting around to land in a crouch with legs splayed, defensively. Acrobatic, if nothing else.

COMBATSYS: Ichiro blocks Ryuujin's Black Drake.

Caught quite off guard by Ryuujin's impressive evasion, Ichiro is struck solidly on the chest by the older guy's first blow, though luckily, the brunt of the impact is soaked up by the chest protector of his shoulder pads. "Whoah!" Ichiro exclaims as the blow sends him stumbling back a step, just in time to duck his helmeted head under the flip kick and escape further harm. "Yeah, you can come along if you want..." Ichiro says as he thrusts his arms out to the side once more to regain his balance as he slowly backs away from the other fighter. "...I have two tickets, after all, and I know you just as well as anyone else in this country!" he says with a grin.
Usually, Ichiro would just catch the lacrosse ball on the rebound after that last shot, but he was smart enough to realize that there probably wouldn't be much chance of that while fighting in this location. Pulling another ball from the backpack, Ichiro quickly tosses the ball into the air before catching it in the net of his stick once more. Wrinkling his lip in concentration as he begins to jog towards Ryuujin, Ichiro seems to forget about his lack of sure footing for a moment as the ball in his crosse suddenly bursts to life with golden energy. "BOUNCE SHOT!" Ichiro calls out for no particular reason, other than that he's seen fighters do the same on TV. Whipping the ball downward, Ichiro bounces the ball off of the railing between the Onryudo fighter and him, hoping that the odd trajectory of the projectile will help it find its mark, the pit of Ryuujin's stomach.

COMBATSYS: Ryuujin dodges Ichiro's Bounce Shot.

"Well... then in the worst case, this fight is not completely a loss, is it?" Ryuujin muses in obvious thought, unperturbed at the partial impact given. "I suppose it is better to go with someone from your own country, then a stranger here..." Initially the charge is only met by a leap backwards, not concerned until it glows golden; Skidding backwards, he then leans away in a limbo-like manner, and it shoots scantly an inch past to flit off into the distance. Likely another one lost to the long fall; Hopefully, Ichiro has packed more then one. Twisting around, his leg hefts, before bracing himself a moment... and then lunging forward, snapping out the heel and trying to catch Ichiro within the stomach. The intent is to double him over, although without any exclamations of his own. Were he to manage, his heel would whip upwards to catch behind his head and drive downwards, trying to smack his face into one of the steel separating bars of the track. Even with the helmet, it might be uncomfortable without a faceguard. Another glance. Hmm. There should be enough time for one more assault before the car reaches...

Yeah. Unless the stranger is a hot American girl, Ichiro thinks on second thought, but his parents would probably frown on him hanging around with a foreign girl anyway, so it's just as well he guesses. "Yeah, should be fun... but I'd much rather compete than watch, you know?" he asks as Ryuujin lunges for him. Gritting his teeth as he spins away from the initial kick, the toes of his sneakers barely staying in contact with the rail below, Ichiro manages to spin out of the way of the majority of the kick as it grazes his jersey. Cocking his crosse back like Shoma with a baseball bat, Ichiro lets his crosse fly towards Ryuujin's face as his momentum carries him past the older fighter and tip toeing along the rail precariously.

Now here's the moment that everybody's waiting for. Surely the fighters won't have forgotten about the additional danger to this fight, aside from the height and the somewhat precarious footing. A large, heavy rollercoaster car moving at high speed is going to be a bit unpleasant for anybody who ends up getting hit by it. Luckily there are many crossbeams and the like that a fighter could use to get themselves back up on the tracks if they /were/ to fall off somehow...
Whatever the results, the time to see them fast approaches. The first rollercoaster car is coming around, racing toward the spot where Ichiro and Ryuujin are doing battle. Faster, faster! The car lacks riders, so all the thrills and chills belong solely to the two combatants.

Oh, darn that Ichiro. Ryuujin had not anticipated that kind of reaction, and he's struck heavily while rather vulnerable, causing a flash of crimson as he stumbles. His toe catches for a moment, having lost his clarity of mind. And it's then that the car hurtles forward, and there was an attempt to begin leaping out of the way. It fails horribly, and he's hit with a rather heavy >THUNK< and rolls along the top, spiraling away and angling towards the ground. But despite the rather significant discomfort this bears, he shoots out his right hand and catches the base of the track adjacent, dangling a moment and gathering his mind. .oO( That went poorly. ) is thought, as he hefts himself up easily, flowing back upon it and rolling a shoulder. Unpleasant mayhaps, but he still continues his assault. "It seems you have the advantage now..." is offered, heel snapping out and seeking to hit Ichiro in the throat, to stagger him back and gain some room more then anything else. His knee retracts thereafter but remains in the air, as if anticipating something more to follow... Or perhaps, preparing himself for something more?

COMBATSYS: Ichiro endures Ryuujin's Quick Kick.

"Gaaah!" Ichiro exclaims as the rumbling sound of the approaching coaster car catches him off guard. Unsure of what to do, the young lacrosse captain turns and drops off of the side of the structure! Catching the rail below with one hand, four of five of his lacrosse balls that came loose as he fell plummet to the ground far below. "Shouldn't have looked down," Ichiro chides himself as he watches the rubber objects bounce wildly on the pavement. Climbing back up to safety, well... marginal safety, Ichiro exhales deeply as he adjusts his gloves as Ryuujin speaks to him. Heh. Advantage. You think so, huh?
Setting his teeth as the kick flies in, Ichiro doesn't seem to like the idea of the kick sending him staggering backwards, not after watching those lacrosse balls hit the ground moments ago. Rushing straight towards the other fighter, Ichiro does the opposite and attempts to eat up the room between them. Grunting quietly as the kick strikes off of his slightly padded collarbone, the teen doesn't let the strike slow his momentum as he jukes to the opposite side of Ryuujin's raised knee, attempting to strike him in the stomach with a knee of his own while the martial artist has all of his weight on one leg.

There's a look of exclamation, and Ryuujin's eyes follow the incoming knee. It hits him hard, and doubles him over, but... it would of felt wrong. It's like hitting a sponge, all force but no resistance. The kinetic energy siphons away through his entire body, dampening the blow to an incredible degree without requiring proper leverage or even interposing his forearms. A defensive technique mostly unique to Onryudo. Not to say it didn't hurt, but not nearly as much as it could have. Retracting backwards, he takes a moment to brush himself off, letting out a slow exhale. "I intend to attempt and gain some of it back." he offers, before shooting forward again. Both hands seek to catch Ichiro by the throat, in order to heft him into the air while stepping past; With the end result of hopefully hurling him back-first right upon the rail again, to catch up on the ground lost. Somewhat simple, but more brutal then most would be lead to believe.

"What the..." Ichiro exclaims as his knee strike seems to hit, but Ryuujin's body seems to lack substance under the force of his strike. Can martial arts do that? Grabbed around the throat easily enough, Ichiro is soon lifted into the air by the taller man. A rather precarious position, this. "That might be so..." Ichiro says through clenched teeth. "...but I don't plan on giving it up!" he exclaims, his eyes blazing with burning spirit as he grabs his crosse in both hands, each gloved hand clenching an opposite end of the stick. "Gaaaah!" Ichiro exclaims simply as he thrusts the haft of the metal shaft right into Ryuujin's face before he can be tossed onto the rail.

Bam!! Actually, Ichiro is doing the best method of taking down Ryuujin; Working over his head. For Onryudo is entirely dictated by conscious thought, repeated applications of severe trauma to such an area makes his entire style and very cohesion questionable, as can be seen when his stumble backwards ends in one leg slipping through the railing and a laughable thunk, taking a couple seconds to gather himself. But with a grunt he shifts upwards, shakily regaining his feet while wiping the stream of blood from his nose. Bleary eyes settle upon Ichiro, with just the slightest twinge of a smile. "I've not lost this badly in some time... I doubt many can doubt now the sheer athletic strength and precision sports can give another, compared to a martial art." Hefting forward, he tries to grasp the crosse-wielding hand in both arms, before attempting to twist it, and apply incredible pressure to both the shoulder and elbow. "But... I do not plan to give up." His knee would shoot out, trying to bury itself into Ichiro's midsection multiple times. At least, hopefully!

Grinning wolfishly as he's paid the compliment, Ichiro brushes the sweat from his eyes with his forearm before responding. "Thanks! That's a big part of the reason I fight! A lot of people don't even know what lacrosse is, but they will soon I hope!" Frowning as his right arm is grabbed and twisted; Ichiro can't help by clench up helplessly as the pressure is put on. Well, almost helplessly. Interjecting his gloved hand between the knees and his gut, the young fighter manages to soak up some of the pain with his pads once more. "I wouldn't expect anything less!" he replies before dropping his left shoulder and attempting to tag the martial artist in the chest with a shoulder block... without dislocating his shoulder in the process.

Around and around it goes... With nobody stopping the rollercoaster cars for the riders to disembark and more to get on the car never needs to slow down. It zooms right past the station, continuing on its merry way back toward Ichiro and Ryuujin. There's a few scratches on the paint job from when it struck Ryuujin last time around, but so far the car seems to be in pretty good shape. A good thing, since these things aren't exactly cheap. But who knows what'll happen to it this time, as it barrels down the track toward Ryuujin and Ichiro?

"I admit my knowledge is somewhat minimal..." Ryuujin muses in response, although he's certainly not going to underestimate the force of those sticks again. He's only truly been hit twice with it, and it's been significantly harder then the majority of his opponents thus far. But it seems fate can change in a proverbial heartbeat, as he observes the incoming roller coaster. This will be tricky. Yet he shifts his forearm, and absorbs the majority of the rush, stopping Ichiro dead. He might realize then that the maneuver was somewhat precarious at best. One foot erupts upwards, catching Ichiro beneath the chin and sending him airborne; By a couple meters. And while he's thusly afflicted, both arms shoot up and catch his ankle. Before whirling him downwards, and hurling Ichiro right towards the incoming roller coaster, likely making evasion all the more difficult. And then in the heartbeat following a sideways flip is done, clearing the rear rattlesnake tail by scarcely a foot before landing in a crouch. "...We might be even yet again." is observed, cooly.

Kicked into the air, caught, hucked down into the tracks, and run over by a run away rollercoaster car. Yeah, they might be on even footing now. Escaping certain doom by catching his arm on one of the metal struts as he plummets off the side of the coaster after getting struck by the speeding car, Ichiro winces painfully as his crosse-wielding arm pops out of it's socket. "Gnnnnnh..." he groans as he hangs by his elbow for a few moments before swinging back around and grasping the strut with his free left hand.
"Gaaaah!" he shouts briefly as his arm pops back into it's socket when he takes the pressure off of his shoulder by unhooking him arm and swinging for a moment by one hand, Ichiro takes a second to gather himself and give his shoulder a rest before beginning the climb back up to the top.
"That..." he pants as he rolls back onto the tracks and props himself onto one knee. "..was a close one..." he admits wearily before rising to his feet and rotating his shoulder a few times. "Alright. I'm cool." he announces to himself as much as Ryuujin as he grips his crosse in front of his waist with both hands as he watches Ryuujin, waiting for the attack that's sure to come now that they're both on even terms once again.

Ryuujin's breathing a bit heavily, but can tell the conclusion of this battle is near. He rubs again at his lips, more subconscious then anything. The daze from the twin strikes to his head are still only fading, and far from fully gone. "Ah. It seems I regained a lot of my ground. Given we both got struck by the rushing roller coaster, it should be relatively even... I was afraid I would disappoint. Well..." Ryuujin once more assumes a combative stance, before rushing forward. "Let us continue!" Maneuvering forward, one hand ripples backwards before the palm thrusts out, fingers splayed. Again there would be that crack of kinetic force, that seems to skip the outer layers and wreck havoc within, trying to send Ichiro staggering backwards as his ponytail whisks around a second time. Trying to break his focus, more then anything...

Too weary to come up with much of a response, Ichiro just nods as Ryuujin rushes towards him. Raising his crosse to attack to check the older fighter in the head yet again, Oe just seems a little too sluggish, and is sent stumbling backwards. His heel catching on the track as he loses his balance, Ichiro's rear hits the rail and elicits a grunt from the fighter before he slowly pushes himself back up to his feet.

Pant. Pant. That seems to be the difference now. "You seem very tired... Even a relatively quick attack was somewhat harmless... You might have expended too much energy with that final gambit. I'm unsure, however; My analysis is not so keen of other bodies beyond simple physiology and standard weakness." Still he brings back his forearms, preparing himself and slowly tensing. "I shall attempt to finish this now..." Forward he erupts, both arms pulling back before shooting towards Ichiro's chest, twin strikes with full intent of doubling him over. Twisting around, he'd then unleash a sidekick right towards the solar plexus, attempting to send him flying – if still level with the rungs of the rollercoaster below. He just might be able to pull this off after all...

His eyebrows knitting in irritation as Ryuujin gives his assessment, Ichiro props himself up with his crosse. "Yeah... I'm pretty tired..." he admits between breaths. "...yeah... I've been expending too much energy, ...you're probably right..." he continues as Ryuujin prepares his attack, hoisting his crosse up into both hands again. "...but the difference between sports... and martial arts... is that with sports you need to give 100 percent... until the last buzzer..." he continues as Ryuujin thrusts his arms at his chest. Quickly lunging forward as the attack closes in, Ichiro blasts Ryuujin in the face with the metal shaft a third time, never giving the final sidekick a chance to fire as he's struck in the chest. Looking even more exhausted after that onslaught, Ichiro knew the state that risky move would leave him in, but his burning spirit just won't let him slow down or play it safe.
...Wait... what's that sound?

Runaway train... is coming right back. The front of the rollercoaster car is now slightly dented, but it's doing nothing at all to slow down the rapid pace with which it shoots around the track. The guy who is supposed to be standing by to stop it in the case of emergency isn't even within reach of the controls, having opted to move for a better view of the fight. Not that there's any reason to stop it just yet! Both fighters are still standing, and the instructions said nothing about stopping the ride before the fight ends. And so the car comes racing down the hill, bearing down on its two potential victims.

Whack! The blow manages entirely true, sending Ryuujin staggering backwards, again slipping and falling. He can't even see straight at the moment, blearily looking up towards the two figures opposite him. One's probably real, but he can't be entirely sure. Teetering he gets back to his feet, breathing hard.. Onryudo is almost crippled with this extent of head wounds, really. "You... are right... You likely would... not have evaded that assault... hmm? So it can't... be a bad decision...!!" And then he notices the roller coaster coming, stiffening. It's likely only that Ichiro's back was to it that ended things as they were; But Ryuujin hurls himself forward, watching as it strikes the other man. He's clipped in the heel for all his trouble, twisting around and hitting the floor heavily, letting out a hiss of pain. Trying to get back up, but seeming now aware his opponent is down. Another assault is pointless at this point... but will that 100 percent allow him to take Ryuujin along for the ride?

COMBATSYS: Ryuujin takes no action.

BAM!
Ichiro turns just in time to see that damned run away rollercoaster car slam into him, sending him spiraling painfully through the air as the car passes under him. Hitting the rails solidly as he lands, Ichiro attempts to push himself up to his feet, but his lower limbs just don't want to work. "Damn..." he mutters as he slumps slightly, but just because he's too beaten to move, doesn't mean he is without more to give!
Gritting his teeth with determination, young Oe begins to growl quietly as a soft golden aura builds around him. "Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!" he shouts as he thrusts his empty crosse into the air and a golden globe of energy rises from its pocket, stopping about 20 feet from Ichiro's body. "LACROSSE...." Ichiro intones as the imitation lacrosse ball shimmers and twenty or thirty copies of itself suddenly appear in the air around it. "...PLUS!" he finishes as the energy balls begin to arc towards Ryuujin from multiple angles. It's an impressive looking attack, but with how beaten and bruised the young lacrosse star is, it's not much more than a last ditch effort, and this is proven as Ichiro falls unconscious on the track.

COMBATSYS: Ichiro can no longer fight.

This assault, in any other circumstance, would likely be the end of poor Ryuujin. But given the state of affairs being run over by a roller coaster tends to inflict, it's no wonder that the worn out and battered Ichiro is not in the best of situations to unleash it. Ryuujin leaps off the side just as they begin to flit down, instantly regretting it as his clumsy hand barely retains hold of the edge, and they whiz by close enough to singe his naked flesh. He merely hangs for a few seconds longer then needed once it concludes, trying and failing once before grasping the grill beneath with his other hand and beginning the arduous process of clawing back up. Ichiro still seems to be down... Enough so that the match is called, on grounds another pass of the roller coaster is likely to squish him. ...And would damage the equipment, as opposed to him, really. Wobbling a bit, Ryuujin manages to walk towards Ichiro, before thrusting down a hand to offer him help to his feet. "You are one of the most frightful opponents I've had... I truly thought I had no chance for a long while. I think I shall definitely have to see much more of your sport."

COMBATSYS: Ryuujin has ended the fight here.

Blinking at Ryuujin as his hand is offered, Ichiro shakes his head to try to get the cobwebs loose before taking the proffered help. "Nnhh... thanks," he says as he lurches to his feet, using his crosse as a cane. "You're not so bad yourself," he adds with a weak grin. "You'll get to see more at the game, but uh..." Ichiro says as he gives the cameras a smile. "The food and drinks are on you."
