Description: A battle royale between Elena, Hinako, Natsu, and Roberto at the Taiyo Dome. It's a close match almost the entire way through, but in the end Hinako manages to emerge victorious. Barely. (Winner: Hinako)
Taiyo's Dome Arena is filled to full capacity tonight. If you take a look at the fight card it's not hard to see why. You have to take into account that two of the people on the fight card actually go to school accounting for the predominantly Taiyo high crowd.
You would think that Roberto Miura would be happy about having a home field advantage in this fight but Roberto doesn't look happy. Could it be the fact that the last SNF he took part in he woke up face first in cheese fries? Maybe it was that "Taiyo Dome Arena Curse" that he finally broke with his fight against Akira Kazama? Maybe it's a bit of anxiety over his first SNF since his injury. It could be that he's waiting for his stalker to show up and mess everything up for him. It's also possible that his anxiety is over fighting his friend and team mate for the first time.
Nevertheless Roberto still has to play the role and he comes to the arena with a mesh bag filled with soccer balls. When he gets into the sectioned off area for fighting he dumps all but one of the soccer ball out of said bag. After that Roberto punts the mesh bag soccer ball into the crowds to give one of the many fans souvenir. He stretches and then juggles one of the soccer balls as he waits for the rest of the opponents to file in.
Natsu is here, of course, as well. Natsu stretches as she walks down the idle, entering the arena. She looks around the familiar territory, her own throng of fans cheering as she makes her way to the ring. Natsu carries her one Volleyball under her arm, her carefully taped fingers tossing it up and down as she makes her way into the ring. She stands in her designated corner. She smiles over at Roberto, and proffers him a wave. "Good crowd out today!" She calls over.

Fake grass.
The exotic Elena is already here and present. The visiting princess always likes getting a 'feel' for a place before fighting. The acoustics, the vibration, the spirit. At first she felt relieved that her first SNF event would be upon a beautiful lawn, but now? She finds herself just a little meloncholy as her long fingers feel sift through the unliving turf of this expensive dome.
The Kenyan is kneeling with eyes closed, wearing only her traditional tribal wraps about her lanky and long dark frame. Perhaps praying, in a way.
Perhaps this grass is 'fake'.. but it has a spirit of it's own. And above all, it has so many people here who express their love for it. The thought gives her comfort as a smile plays about her lips, slowly looking upwards to the capacity crowds as they continue to rain down their excitement. Most are not cheering for her, of course. Being the most foreign, she's seen as more of a curiousity. A tigress the heroes will be thrown against. But that matters little to her, for in truth she feels considerable excitement herself!
Blue eyes turn to the two local students as they take the field, grinning to them cheerfully in turn as she announces, "JAMBO!" Heard above the din of the crowds. Immediately she leaps into motion, wheeling backwards in a series of hand-flips and cartwheels until she arrives at her designated 'corner'. Maintaining the energy as she begins her peculiar shuffle-stance, dancing back and forth to the beat of the applause and the crowds.
Time to make some new friends!

This may not be Hinako's school, but she's still a high school student and thus a good draw for this match's target audience. And of course, she's going to have to put on a good show for the sake of Seijyun High. Can't let the Taiyo students have all the glory! The sumo waves cheerfully to her opponents and to the audience. Because when it comes down to it, this should all be /fun/, right? She spares an extra grin for Elena, waving to the Kenyan. "Hey there!"
Hiako slams her taped fists together a few times, then starts flexing her fingers. Having /three/ different opponents is going to be a bit tricky. Sumo really is a one on one kind of fighting style... Luckily, Hinako has learned to adapt. And she probably won't have to worry about being attacked by all three opponents at once. She intends for this to be a friendly fight, but that doesn't mean she's going to go easy on her opponents! Of course, her definition of 'going easy' is a bit looser than that of some of the more vicious fighters out there.

Roberto nods to the three women with a smile the biggest smile reserved for Natsu. The fight begins and the time comes to pick who he's going to attack first. At this point he decides to base his selection on information.
Roberto looks at Hinako. A girl he's fought against before and knows she can really dish it out. He then looks over to Natsu. He's fought along side her before. He'd actually feel sympathy for those hit by those volleyballs if he wasn't fighting them as well. This brings us to Elena who Roberto has no experience against and so he takes it upon himself to test.
The soccer star lets the soccer drop to the ground but before it can even touch the ground he kicks it. The ball actually looks like it's about to go past however Roberto put a little spin on it and suddenly curves right back at the capoeirista in the classic banana kick.
Natsu, on the other hand, is going to go with the different strategy. She of course knows Hinako in a sort of passing way. And Elena is a totally unknown quantity in her mind. But Roberto. Now there's someone she knows. They've fought together plenty of times, and practiced around some.
She smirks as the soccer player, and arches her form into her fighting stance, taking a goof five or 6 inches out of her height as she crouches down. She charges Roberto, making a full run before the throws her long leg at his midsection.

Oh hey! The nice handsome boy wants to play a quick match of Soccer before the fight starts!
Elena pauses a moment in her dancing reverie as the youth kicks the ball with surprising strength, grinning widely as she announces, "Oh! I got it! I got it! I go-"

Alas, the Kenyan didn't even realize the boy's sportsman-like martial art, as she takes the hard hit full on the face! ERFING as her arms flail at her sides and sends her sailing back to crash a short distance on the ground. @.x *tweet tweet tweet*
Giving her head a quick shake, she lifts a hand to rub her offended noggin, giggling despite herself at the surprising blow. ^_^; "Oh Wow! What an incredible kick!" She compliments, clearly not holding any grudges against such a remarkably surprising strike.
Already seeing that his fellow student is making an attack upon him, Elena decides that double-teaming would be unsporting! She'll let the strike go unretaliated for the moment as she promptly hops back to her feet and re-engages her dance, specifically facing Hinako, "Jambo again, Hinako! What a wonderful surprise!" Waving her on as she prepares for the ensuing fight, eager to dance with her friend and give all these people a good time. ^_^

"It's nice to see you again too, Elena!" But there isn't much time for Hinako to engage in pleasantries. The fight has begun, so it really is time to act. It wouldn't be fair to the audience to not put on a good show. People seem to have made their choices... But it doesn't look like anybody's paying much attention to Natsu at the moment. She shouldn't feel left out!
Hinako charges across the arena toward Natsu, intending to slam into the other girl with her full weight, such as it is. If she does manage to get her hands on Natsu, Hinako rears back in an attempt to yank the volleyball player up and off her feet, then send her sailing up into the air. Now she can see what it's like for the balls!

Roberto doesn't even have time to really respond to watching his soccer ball just completely knock over the capoeirista before Natsu is on him with a kick which would probably hurt if the reflexes didn't come as a package deal of being a goalie. So he responds by meeting the force with a pair of fists to punch the leg down and away as if he was punching away a soccer ball followed by a kick just as hard. Whether it comes independently or as a follow-up to Hinako's toss attack is determined by the situation. Roberto is capable of adapting.

Two at once! It must be Natsu's lucky day! She catches Hinako's incoming throw out of the corner of her eye. Hinako manages to get a grip on her, But Natsu is able to soften the blow a bit as she hits the mat. Then, Roberto's kick lands in her midsection. Expecting the Soccer player to use his legs, she grins, and grabs hold of his leg, trying to leverage the leg, and thrust her shoulder against his chest, pushing him onto the mat.
"Hinako!" Elena calls out as she watches the girl rush over and attempt to grapple Natsu, who clearly seems determined to carry out her attack on the star soccer player, "Now, that is not fair!"
Clearly, the Kenyan doesn't grasp the nature of a Battle Royale as she'd rather try to make the match as fair as possible. Seeing two people gang up on one just seems so unsporting! As such, she moves to try and break up the melee. As loathed as she is to assault her friend from behind, she tries to seperate the Sumo Warrior from the Taiyo students in the gentlest means possible.
Quickly dashing over, Elena dives towards Hinako and attempting a handstand right before her, hooking her legs directly beneath the girl's arms in a bid to toss her away from the other two. More of a gently toss than a real attack, but clearly insistant!

"It's perfectly fair! People can't get better if their abilities aren't challenged!" And Hinako should know; she's certainly put herself through some pretty impressive challenges to get as strong as she is. Still, Elena's fighting style is rather unorthodox as far as Hinako is concerned, and that makes it tricky to deal with. She finds herself yanked up off the ground by Elena's legs, but she doesn't quite get tossed away.
The sumo holds on, even when she falls back down to the ground. And if she can maintain her grip just a little bit longer, she'll use it to in turn yank Elena up off the ground and then send her crashing back down. "Don't worry about it, just have fun!"

Roberto uses a combination of the tumbling that soccer coaches occasionally teach their soccer players to build their physical awareness and one of his actual fighting/soccer moves in a way that it was never intended to be used but probably saves him because of it's creative usage. When he gets his leg leveraged he swings his free leg up and over into a Bicycle Kick that throws himself out of the grapple. He also manages to rotate himself a little more than he'd usually would so that he lands on his feet. After that, he shifts into a stance that looks like a goalie's ready stance. Now who wants to be soccer ball coming in for the impending penalty shot?

Natsu pulls back a bit, watching Roberto deftly escape her grip. She pants a little bit, obviously a bit miffed that the Soccer genius has escaped her grip. A smile moves across her face as she watches Roberto move back into his combat stance. Natsu takes a few steps in Roberto's direction, then her left hand moves across her body, trying to jab Roberto in the gut.

Elena's eyes widen as she feels her ankles grabbed and promptly yanking her bodily up and off the ground! Her arms flail in the air once more for a moment.. Briefly considering her predicament before deciding up on one painful course of action. Scrunching up her face a bit she decides to just accept the -hammering- impact of the throw, SLAMMING her into the astroturf full on as she lets out a blast of air from her lungs!
Why on Earth did Elena choose to just take that? Simple, to get her legs free!
The Kenyan doesn't even waste time taking in a breath as her legs are yanked free from the throw. Immediately, with nimble grace belying her lanky size, the dark princess spins to her feet and continues to spin! Lashing out with a foot strike towards Hinako with every complete revolution in a series of mid-level kicks!
Elena's grin says what her empty lungs cannot, she always has fun! ^_^

An interesting attack, although Hinako doesn't have too long to admire it. She's no master tactician... but she can see that there is a weakness there. Namely that it makes for a good attack, but it should be rather difficult for Elena to defend herself while spinning like that. Of course, most people would be reluctant to get close enough to attack, because Elena has quite an impressive reach. Hinako, however, is not most people.
Heedless of the Kenyan's spinning legs, Hinako grins as she ducks down and lunges in toward Elena. She gets battered, but she manages to hit home with a palm strike to Elena's torso. And then another. And another. And finally she raises both hands up and slams them down onto the Kenyan. Then she staggers away with a hand placed against her ringing head. She got kicked quite a few times doing that.

Roberto planned this out perfectly. He expected everything since the moment he landed from his Bicycle Kick. Natsu comes in... check. Elena and Hinako continue to fight it out... check. Roberto even expected the punch. He spins around and is about to flip backwards at Natsu when all of a sudden the punch lands squarely in the back. Well... It was a good plan. Roberto just failed to execute and as a result he finds himself spinning to face Natsu again.
Natsu eeks at Roberto as his body contorts in that way. She winces, and calls over after her jab connects. "You OK there?" She looks over at where Roberto landed. She hopes she didn't hurt him too badly. I mean, we're fighting and all, but he is a teammate. She steps back a moment to allow Roberto to collect himself, tossing a Volleyball up in the air, she survey's the playing field.

Not unlike Roberto, Elena had set her plan in motion but it didn't quite work out as well as she had envisioned! Expecting Hinako to be off-balance with recovering from her throw, the Kenyan completely underestimated just how fast the Sumo Warrior can be!
Elena barely gets a glancing kick in before being -smashed- in the midsection, while upsidedown no less! Her blue eyes bugging out as she's knocked off her hands.. Only to be slammed a half dozen times in repetition and -SLAMMED- into the ground. Her gambit completely failing!
The dark princess just rolls upon the ground in a heap, looking like she's about had it. Laying still for a moment as she slowly, shakingly reaches out a hand to touch the artificial grass gently. Perhaps she intends to surrender? Afterall, clearly she's on her last legs as she can't even get to her feet..
The tall woman simply takes a deep breath, closing her eyes and bowing her head. Seeming to recover from the rough assault.. Her ivory bangs stirring in an unfelt wind as a low, gentle glow touches her broken form.. What could this be about?
Whatever's up with Elena, Hinako doesn't stick around to find out. Once the Kenyan is sent tumbling, Hinako turns her attentions to someone who's still on their feet. Normally she'd just wait and let her opponent get up, but in this match their are multiple fighters to deal with.
Hinako still hasn't struck at Roberto, and she's still not going to just yet. He'll get his turn eventually, though, if she has her way about it. While Natsu stands there tossing her volleyball, Hinako charges across the arena at the other girl. She doesn't intend to stop, either, just wanting to snag an arm around the other girl's waist without slowing down. When she /will/ stop is when she reaches a wall, and that's only because after slamming Natsu into it, there simply won't be anywhere left to run.
As for Roberto he's already got a shot in on Elena, he's slugged it out with Natsu although neither one could get a meaningful advantage on each other. He still has yet to make his presence felt on Hinako and so makes he makes an jump at the sumo girl going up hopefully taking Hinako into his glowing hands.Once he reaches the apex... If he still has Hinako in his hands he will push Hinako into that wall with a burst of chi.

Natsu sees Hinako incoming out of the corner of her eye. She wheels around As she sees the girl charge. Her back is to Hinako as the charge comes, and she manage to brace herself before the wall hits, minimizing the impact just a bit. She stands up, and presses her legs against the mat, kicking off the wall and throwing her volleyball into the air. "Tokkun Spike!" She yells, as she sends the Volleyball straight down at Hinako.

Gently, the glowing nimbus around Elena fades from existance as she then rises back to her feet. Exhaling a calming breath as she clearly seems like a woman who took far, far less abuse than she actually has. Rejuvinated as she tilts her head side to side, popping out the kinks in her neck with a slight wince.
Thank you, spirits! That feels -MUCH- better!
For a moment, she can't help but take a moment to pause and appreciate the specticle. The roaring crowds cheering on their hometown favorites, the incredible displays of prowess from these young fighters. She can't honestly claim that she has ever faced such magnificent warriors! Truly these must be some of Southtown's best!
Feeling tremendously honored to even be part of such an amazing experience, the Kenyan laughs with a swell of joy. How can she do no less than try to return their gift with her best?
Even still, as she stares at the ensuing melee. She just can't bring herself to hit anyone in the back again! Perhaps they should have switched her with someone who's a bit more.. ah.. aggressive.. for this particular fight.
Instead, she simply monitors the fight closely. Keeping a careful eye on the outcome of this exchange as she begins her capoeira ready-stance.. swaying back and forth to the tune of an unhead beat. Of course, such a lacking display brings up a new chorus of boo's from the stands near her.. They came to see some action!
To which, Elena can't help but sheepishly rub the back of her neck a moment. Eh heh! ^_^; "Don't be so serious! Lets just have fun!" She comments to the crowd at a volume that can't even begin to be heard over the raging loudspeakers.

Hinako wasn't quite prepared to get grabbed by Roberto, but once she does get blasted into the wall she reacts quickly. She rolls on impact, lessening the damage... but rolling right into the volleyball from Natsu. It hits her right on the top of the head, sending her stumbling forward and slightly dizzied. Not a good position to be in, so she manages to turn her stumble into a brief run, turning around once she's gained some distance from her opponents.
Phew, that was a tough little situation right there. Time to pause and think for a moment. Everybody can see everybody else right now, so just charging in again probably wouldn't be the best of ideas. She's going to need an opening. But now where is she going to find one? Hmm...

Booing? Oh hell... Roberto is beginning to get flashbacks from the last Taiyo Dome SNF he did. This is beginning to freak him out because waking up face first in cheese fries is not good. Not good at all. On the surface, Roberto is the picture of calm however deeper within the star striker is becoming desperate. Why? Because the thought of becoming a human landfill yet again is not that appealing.
He goes to a soccer ball and begins dribbling towards Elena, making a cautious approach weaving left and right when he suddenly hops in front of the ball and flips the soccer ball from behind him to bring it up into the air. As it's dropping Roberto snaps out a kick at the Capoeirista.
Natsu watches Roberto with Deft eyes, as he weaves around in his attack. He seems like he's taken the least punishment so far in the SNF, so... Natsu presses herself into the air again, her head becoming covered in flames as she tosses her Volleyball up into the air, bringing er fist around to hit the ball, the ball itself becomes covered in flames, and it flies towards Roberto.

Ah-hah! It would seem that the soccer master has decided to follow up what his first strike started!
Elena grins brightly at the oncoming youth, racing towards her in a quick display of incredible footwork and dexterity.. But the Kenyan has some footwork of her own!
Just as the youth closes in with his leaping kick, she immediately swings her torso low like a full windmill.. The force of her long-legged kick throwing her bodily into the air as she strikes him squarely with a fast intercept!
Of course, the soccer-star isn't without his guile.. as the ball he hurled up afterwards quickly bonks Elena over the head in the wake of his passage. @.x *donk* Oof!
Okay... Things have started to get a bit chaotic again, and that means Hinako is free to make her move. She still hasn't attacked Roberto, so it's only fair... Even if he does have a flaming volleyball being launched at him. Hinako is a few moments behind it, so hopefully she won't have to worry about getting caught in any crossfire.
Reaching out toward Roberto, Hinako attempts to wrap her arms around his waist. Then she just has to plant her feet, and if all goes to plan it'll just be a quick twist and a jerk, and then Roberto will be sent sailing off parallel to the ground at high speed. Until he either hits something or gravity catches up to him, of course.

Let's go over the events that lead up to this... Roberto gets knocked high up into the air courtesy of Air Capoeirista. This results in him being put in the path flaming volleyball. Not given any other option considering he has Hinako about to charge the hell out of him, he chest traps the volley ball and readies himself to kick the volleyball as a diversion to set up a knee to the stomach followed by even more punishment but once again Roberto's careful planning doesn't quite work out and so he now finds himself flying head first into a wall.
As he gets up he's getting hit by trash yet again and finds himself batting away crushed cans as he tries to figure out what the hell is going on. "I never want to fight here again as long as I live."
Natsu just shakes her head, and turns to Hinako. She smiles, and crouches down, wrapping her arms around the girl and attemping to pound her against the floor. Sort of like an over-enthusiastic greeting, but a lot harder. Her whole body uncoils from a croushed position, leasing with a sholder, her full 6' frame stretched out into knocking Hinako down.
By the time Elena has regained her wherewithal from that soccer-ball strike, she blinks to see that poor Roberto just got ganged upon by everyone! Feeling more than a little guilty for instigating such a pileup, she briefly gives the audience a look for throwing things at the poor guy when he's down! Hey! That's not nice!
BUT, this fight isn't over yet!
Seeing as how the only person who hasn't been the focus of Elena's assault is the volleyball star, she decides to give her some friendship! It is, perhaps, unsporting of her to attack while trying to grapple Hinako.. But.. Well, maybe that's just expected here!
After landing from her mid-air spin, she takes a single pirouetting step and leaps upwards, literally reversing her previous attack as her long-leg arcs downwards towards the Taiyo student! "MALLET SMASH!" Announcing her attack loudly to give the girl some warning! At least she can be a little sporting, yes?

Natsu has a size advantage over Hinako, but the sumo packs a lot of punch in her little frame. When Natsu comes charging right at her, Hinako returns the attack in kind. "Hyah!" Natsu's shoulder clips Hinako, but the sumo manages to clothesline the volleyball player and wrap an arm firmly around her neck. "Gasshou..."
She begins to rapidly spin around as she speaks, making three quick revolutions before suddenly flinging Natsu away, turning her into a high speed missile launched at a steep upward angle. "...Hineri!"
Roberto watches the women just smash up on Natsu and he's to stunned from both the impact to study his opponents and at this point since planning hasn't paid off for him he does something rediculous quite possibly stupid but what the hell... It's not like he's actually going to win this fight anyway... He pulls the visor over his eyes, spins around goes sliding at where he can hear the actual pile up... His feet end up sliding right into...
Natsu Ayuhara... Atleast Roberto has the excuse of not being able to see who he's attacking.

Natsu squeels as she's thrown up in the sair. While she's coming back down from being thrown, Elena manages to catch Natsu on the shoulder, her foot driving the Volleyball player in the direction of Roberto's oncoming cleats. Natsu rolls over on the mat, managing to just make it to the edge before she blacks out.
The tall Kenyan can feel the impact of her kick solidy swat the Volleyball Star out of the air, but as she lands she can see that her own school-mate accidentally struck her out! The impact shocks her a bit as she did not expect the bushwack in the slightest.
She almost apologizes before the tall woman swerves about and dances in place facing Hinako now. Knowing the girl is going to be the last obsticle to victory.. But then, the Soccer Genius isn't out quite yet either as he's quite close by, and still dangerous.
The African, herself, has taken quite a beating.. even with the spirits renewing her. She can only hope the powerful Sumo warrior is beginning to show signs of exaustion from the constant barrage as she once again sizes up her friendly opponent, "..You are.. quite strong Hinako-chan.." She breathes, lips smiling with profound respect as her eyes remain quite wide.. occasionally darting to Roberto.

Hinako grins at Elena, although her eyes are also darting around, looking to Roberto and the fallen Natsu. Seems the volleyball player won't be getting back up, so that just leaves two opponents... Glancing between the two of them, Hinako suddenly nods to herself as she comes to a decision.
And then she's off, charging across the floor in Elena's direction. "You're pretty good yourself, Elena! Here I come!" The Kenyan's height makes it a bit difficult for Hinako to get a grip on her shoulder, so she settles for attempting to get one hand on Elena's hip and another up under her arm on the opposite side. If she can pull that off, the next step is to make use of leverage to hurl Elena down into the floor.
Roberto gets back up to his feet his one foot feels whoever he took down. Oh damn. Roberto's gonna feel badly about being the one who took her out. On the other hand he feels something light and spherical on the other foot. It's Natsu's volleyball. He reaches down to pick up the ball and blindly swings the volley ball at...
Hinako.
Perhaps Hinako shouldn't have been so loud while Roberto's playing Blind Man's Bluff. With the visor still down over his eyes, he makes his way to the women.

The Kenyan grins as she watches the Sumo Warrior rushe for her with all her considerable might and speed, but she was ready! Her dance continues to sway back and forth in a mesmerizing pattern, sweeping to the side as Hinako's hand touches her hip. But the other hand will find no purchase as her arm is now quite lower than her middle..
The reason?
Elena sweeps low, as if cartwheeling backwards as her long lanky leg swings inside of Hinako's grip and her familiar launching kicks strikes true! Vaulting both women clear into the air!
Although, Hinako's near grab alters Elena's trajectory just enough to reduce her balance, landing a little bit off her mark and stumbling a step.. Oof!

The up side to running right into Elena's attack is that getting launched into the air removes Hinako from the line of Roberto's attack. That's about the only good thing about it, though. Getting kicked up into the air isn't exactly pleasant, nor is the landing that comes afterwards. Hinako's not much for aerial combat and things like, oh, landings.
The sumo crashes down heavily, but she's quick to clamber back to her feet. Just... She's not feeling all that inspired to rush back in at either of her opponents right at this very moment. She could use a few seconds to catch her breath, and let the bright lights stop flashing in front of her eyes, thanks.

Roberto finally slides the visor off his eyes and back on to his forehead and he realizes he just took out his friend. "Oh damn... I have some explaining to do."
Roberto shakes it off and then drops the soccer ball and begins juggling the soccer ball as he lets Hinako get her breath. Of course he doesn't let her get her breath for too long he sends the soccer ball flying right by her. He comes up quickly behind it going for a two fisted goalie dive save for her stomach. Looks like Roberto has stopped using the Roulette wheel and going for a finisher.
Whoa!
Elena recovers from her ackward landing, wobbling a few dance steps before getting back into her groove. Grinning brightly as Hinako is also on her feet, proving she's quite the formitable adversary! But before the Kenyan re-engages, she witnesses the Soccer Genius launch into a renewed assault with more vigor than before!
Perhaps, it would be strategically prudent to 'assist' him in his endeavor to assail the poor girl.. But Elena just can't bring herself to double-team the sweet girl. Already feeling terrible for accidentally teaming up on the sportsmen earlier. Instead, she takes this moment to similarly take a breather, shaking the spots dancing in the corner of her vision and kneel down a moment.. watching to see the result of this exchange..

Hinako hears the footsteps approaching from behind and she quickly spins around to face her assailant. Rather than try to get out of the way of hunker down to deflect Roberto, however, the sumo girl takes a firm step forward and reaches down to smash him in the head with a palm strike as he closes in. She's a bit too slow, however, and winds up with two fists to the stomach for her trouble. She's sent staggering backwards, hands clutching over her abdomen. "Owowow..."
Roberto scrambles to his feet not really wanting to give Hinako time to recover. He can sense that everyone is running on fumes and he continues to press on. Swinging a foot hard at Hinako's feet as she's stumbling backwards. Roberto's probably going out but he's going to take someone down with him.
The Kenyan can't help but stare in awe of Roberto's relentless assault. Even so hurt from previous injuries, even with crowds giving him a mixed reception.. He fights on, and fights hard! The tall young woman still cannot bring herself to enter the fray, both out of respect for the two fighters. Hinako clearly giving it her all as well, having done so much in the fight!
Elena can only watch and wait, respecting the two warriors as one would respect two wounded lions at war. Though they may be hurt, they're yet spectacularly dangerous.. and she gives them a wide, observant berth as she continues to sway and dance to her unheard beat..

Hinako may not have much of an aerial game... But she can still jump. Roberto's foot swings out at her feet, and the sumo responds by hopping up into the air. Thankfully she managed to recover enough in time to do that. As she's coming down, Hinako reaches out with one hand for Roberto's shoulder. She attempts to use a combination of strength and downward momentum to knock Roberto down to the ground... and hopefully he won't get back up.

Lets the momentum and strength act upon him however it's on his terms. He moves with it just enough that he moves back and not down however it puts him in perfect position for him to catch her while she's coming down with a glowing foot flying to the face chin. If all goes well it will send her flying into the air.
The Kenyan can feel the crowds growing louder and louder behind her.. Loud enough that she can feel their shouts rattling her bones. How loud it is here at the base of the stadium! She can -feel- every cheer or boo they make.. Which makes their shouts of 'FIGHT YOU FOREIGN @#$%^' ring awfully loudly in her ears.
Elena knows she's no coward, she simply doesn't feel it's fair to intercede on a battle between two warriors! ... But.. Perhaps the SNF isn't about being fair? Swallowing her guilt, she closes her eyes a moment and comes to a snap decision.. Perhaps she will regret it, prehaps she will not. But Roberto's incredible determination just seems so dangerous at the moment, and she knows full well how hard he hits..
With a shout, Elena darts forward from her dance, rushing the last few steps towards the two as she twirls about in mid-air, attempting to hook her long, flexible leg around Roberto's shoulders and pivot in a perfect wheel. His ready position for Hinako's descent was just too tempting a target.. Forgive her, friend!

Hinako's reactions are slowing down, but she's still fast enough to put her arms in the path of Roberto's kick. She's staggered back a step, but then Elena comes in to mix things up. And then Kenyan will probably soon learn that SNF really /isn't/ about being fair... Even when the people involved are apt to play nice.
And now Elena is in between Hinako and Roberto... But Hinako can't just stop fighting because of that. "Here I come, Elena!" She's going to give some warning at least, though. The sumo lashes out with a palm strike aimed at the taller girl's torso. If that should work, she then proceeds to attempt to take advantage of the opening, snaring Elena with both hands and then hurling her down to the floor.

Roberto wobbles to his feet and smiles, "It's alright... Free for alls are basically every man... or woman as the case may be for themselves. No hard feelings from me as long as there are none from you."
After that Roberto makes a goalie diving save going for her waist as he takes her down to the ground and if that grab is successful, he'll give a bit of kick... After that Roberto will go to the ground and will not be attacking any more this fight.

Oooooh what a perfect day! And shockingly, Elena holds no sarcasm in that sentiment. She can only think of what wonderful new friends she's met, such kindly people!
The next several moments happen in slow motion, and all in a blur at once. She can feel Roberto impact the astroturf hard.. But she was right to fear his strength as he wasn't out yet! Coming back strong and striking her with incredible force over and over, jarring her back and forth and crumbling her defenses.. all but throwing her into Hinako's waiting hands as she's similarly slammed in the stomach and hurled to the floor with incredible force!
Her last conscious thoughts are of the screaming crowds and their vast cheers. My.. How peaceful..
It was a good day!
Hinako staggers for a moment, then looks to her fallen opponents. She... won? She won! Th-that's right! That's the power of sumo, and of Seijyun High! Hinako waves a bit unsteadily to the crowd, managing a somewhat weaker than usual grin. She took quite a beating in this fight, and it's taking most of her energy not to just fall over right now. So when the medical staff gets here, it won't just be the unconcious fighters that will need treatment.
