Description: Dong Hwan and E.Honda square off.... crocodile style. (Draw Match)
The Australian Zoo, a place where wildlife is saved and education spread, primarily through the work of one man who, sadly, is no longer around. The Crocoseum is a standing monument to his efforts, which is partly why it was chosen for one battle in the World Warrior tournament. The combatants have been assured that the crocodiles will only attack if provoked, so as long as the fighters don't do something stupid like, say, walk over and kick them. It's been planned that all proceeds for the fight's attendance (and the stands are -packed-) go to various programs the zoo funds.
Edmund Honda turns his neck slightly to pop a joint before he reassumes his classic sumo stance, waiting for the call to begin. A handfull of rice has been scattered before him, and he squints at bit at the midday sun before looking across the area to where his opponent is. The crocs do make him a little nervous, but one of the trainers said he'd probably be mistaken for a hippo and left alone. ...which makes Honda wonder...don't they only have hippos in Africa? These are Australian crocs, aren't they?
Dong Hwan is here too. And ready for ultimate battle! What else needs to be said? Oh, there's crocodiles. Hitting each other with live crocodiles? Sounds like a win.
"Dude, you're massive! ...hey, I wonder if you can eat more than me." Dong Hwan says contemplatively--his "special skill" is in fact gluttony, so it might be a toss up.
"But maybe another time. Now then... let's get to fightin'!" Dong Hwan is riled up and ready to fight for great justice. He finds himself in his usual, relaxed, casual fighting stance, tae kwan do in some form but heavily customized for his own use, as well.
COMBATSYS: DongHwan has started a fight here.

"After the fight, perhaps!" The sumo wrestler is all smiles, as per usual, and he claps his hands together as the referee announces the start of the fight. A quick crouch, and then Honda starts moving forward, churning up a little bit of earth under his feet. With many similarities to a freight train, he starts charging towards Dong Hwan, arms extending out to take hold of the other man, and quickly lift him slightly and then shove him downward onto the ground.
COMBATSYS: E.Honda has joined the fight here.

"Woah damn!" Dong Hwan protests as he's hoisted up and slammed to the ground, hitting the floor hard. The fight has just begun, however, and Dong Hwan doesn't let the impact slow him down. A grunt is let out--the next reaction comes in the form of him spinning on the ground in a move resembling breakdancing, legs flying out to the side as a funnel of electricity, trying to sweep Honda--rolling away after a kick is delivered, or not. Either way.
COMBATSYS: E.Honda endures DongHwan's Raimei Zan.

A rule one learns early in sumo is to never give an opponent too much space to work with. This winds up being especially true in fighting tournaments where your opponent might be just as likely to try to hop away and throw fireballs at you as they are to get close enough to punch you. Honda's already moving as Dong's leg connects with his knee, dropping him down rather quickly. Fortunately, this was all part of his plan.
Reaching down, Honda attempts ot grab hold of Dong's leg as he begins to roll, to hold him in place. Then, Honda flexes his leg muscles to jump up, pulling Dong with him. Dong Hwan will be pulled up into the air so Honda can get a better hold, and then slammed down hard with both hands pushing down against him.
COMBATSYS: DongHwan fails to interrupt Combo Throw from E.Honda with Ashi Binta.

That was horrible. Dong Hwan had a good plan, and all. Dong Hwan has no fireballs, but he was convinced that a little extra space would give him the extra second of time needed to stop the mighty Sumo from delivering a series of painful slams to the opponent.
Wrong.
As it turns out, Dong Hwan doesn't get far. He's captured before he can roll away, thrown repeatedly--and left dazed at the end of the series of throws, a glassy look in his eyes as he stares up at the sky somewhat blankly, after being planted on his back. Or he's staring in the dirt if he's been faceplanted. Either or, he's in kind of a bad way--and has nothing really to respond with other than uttering out a quiet "Mrrf..."
Normally, this would be where Honda gives his opponent a moment to stand up and dust themselves off...but the people are here for a show, and there's a tournament at stake! "You have spirit! But a bit more experience never hurts!" Honda reaches down to grab hold of Dong Hwan and lift him slightly. Honda will then spin his arm around like a pitcher at the mound, taking Dong in a circle to slam him once on the ground, then around again to launch him towards one of the pools of water. "Perhaps a bath will cool you down and help you focus!"
COMBATSYS: E.Honda successfully hits DongHwan with Medium Throw.

Bad Day. Dong Hwan gets thrown--again--and with a splash, ends up in the water. Oh noes, the crocodiles! Although they leave Dong Hwan alone as they realize instinctually he's not unlike an electric eel. Although that doesn't mean Dong Hwan can't bother one of them. With a loud yell, Dong Hwan sends a Crocidile flying through the air straight for the one called Honda...but wait! It's going wide and too high! Everyone, look at it, so the jump kick to E.Honda's chest, complete with electric spark flashing on impact goes without being noticed until it's too late!

Wh- launching a crocodile? Doesn't that defeat the /purpose/ of bringing them here? Honda immediately reacts, reaching up to catch hold of the thrashing beast before it can either go into the stands or otherwise get seriously injured. It leaves him wide open for that kick to the chest, and there's the faint sound of /something/ in that mass he calls a body going 'crack'. Honda staggers back, still holding Wally Gator, and turns to toss the thrashing animal to the side before rubbing his chest. "Very good," he says between somewhat strained breaths, and then reassumes his standard sumo stance. "...let's see if you can do it without hiding behind an animal this time!" His voice gets louder as he speaks, until the final words are loud enough to be heard from the cheap seats of the mini-arena.
COMBATSYS: E.Honda gathers his will.

Tipping his head and looking at E.Honda, Dong Hwan lifts both arms out to the sides. He looks like he's not taking the pause to attack, instead gathering up his energy--all that energy he used to deliver that flurry of attacks, some flubbed, some successful. Can you feel it? This epic battle is about to be decided! "Oh yeah. Let's do this. What you got?" Good job Dong Hwan. I guess.
COMBATSYS: DongHwan drops his guard to recover.

A challenge, eh? Never let it be said that Honda's one to simply 'let things go'. The sumo wrestler shifts his stance just slightly before he moves forward again. Unlike his earlier rush forward, this time he seems to be more methodical, taking note of his surroundings and Dong Hwan's stance. When he gets close, he brings up a hand, open palm forward, and thrusts it towards Dong Hwan's chest.
This is where, in the movie version, time slows down for nifty special effects.
Honda's arm blurs, actually thrusting forward multiple times in a strobe effect. Difficult to follow, and even more difficult to deal with, it's an attempt to land blow after blow, one aimed wherever Dong Hwan isn't attempting to protect himself from it.
COMBATSYS: DongHwan just-defends E.Honda's Hundred Hand Slap!

Slap, slap, slap.
The hands fly out at Dong Hwan lightning fast, and yet Dong Hwan doesn't seem to move much until Honda is right on top of him. Then, he starts smacking Honda's hands palm to palm, repeatedly, his hands moving exactly as fast as Honda's, hitting them all exactly dead on. Hard to deal with, but Dong Hwan tends to have moments of clarity--and his apt defense here appears to be one of them. "Patty cake, patty cake, bakers men, bake me a cake as fast as you can."
Dong Hwan's taunting aside, as Honda's slaping slows, Dong Hwan sees his opportunity to return fire and hopefully stagger Honda enough to give him an opening. A sudden fist flies out to smack Honda in the chin, the punch quick and weak, hoping to smack a pause in to his opponent more than cause severe harm. Can he do it?
COMBATSYS: DongHwan successfully hits E.Honda with Quick Punch.

The hands are batted away, and Honda's, frankly, somewhat stunned. He's not the fastest of men, but for the move he's most famous for to simply be batted aside, well, it's boggling! It allows the fighter to get clocked one right in the chest, causing him to falter for a moment. First the croc, and now being mocked? Honda's smile takes on a slightly grim tone to it as he looks at Dong Hwan. "...well done. The audience, I'm sure, has gotten what its paid for."
And then Honda's reaching forward to try to grab hold of Dong by both arms. "But let's see if we can't give them more than what they expected!"

Once Honda grabs hold, he twists Dong sideways, moving one hand to palm the back of his opponent's head, and then he jumps into the air, higher than anybody would expect a sumo to move. Dong is thrust under Honda as he comes down, with the combined weight of Honda being added to the forward momentum of Dong's body to the ground. "DU!" Honda lands, crouches, and then immediately jumps again, pulling Dong back up to spin him around and then again slam him down on the ground, "SO!" He jumps up one more time, letting go of his opponent, and shifting so his primary weight lands directly on Dong Hwan's backside before rolling off of him and reassuming his stance. "KOI!"
Dong Hwan can not escape. And oh man, it costs him. His impeccable defense is returned with extreme pain by Honda, and Dong Hwan is nearly taken out of the fight all at once with that sudden explosion of pounding. Slammed and squashed, arching his back as he's landed on, Dong Hwan let's out what starts like a cry of pain--but ends up just kinda gurgly. "Agh--gurk!" He holds very still. Is he defeated?
Nevar! Defiant as ever, Dong Hwan gets a burst of energy a moment later, pushing off the ground with enough force to throw H.Honda straight up in to the air--and that moment is about all he has to entirely evade the attack, as a moment later a pillar of lighting surrounding them aides in keeping E.Honda where he wants him. The pillar remains as Dong Hwan follows upward, trying to deliver a flurry of kicks in a typical, flashy, aerial maneuver, running out of steam after about 15 feet in to the air, directing himself to safety away from E. Honda, plummeting to the ground and landing hard on a shoulder, prone when his attack has finished. With any luck, Honda won't land on him.

Well, the audience surely didn't expect /that/, and it's a safe bet Honda didn't either. As he's launched up, he tries to brace himself to be able to better attack back afterwards, but the sudden column of electricity is enough to pretty much wreck all chances of that happening. Once the onslaught has ended, Honda slowly picks himself out of the ground, wobbling on his feet, and simply moves forward to bear hug Dong Hwan, squeezing tight several times to see if he can't get some pops and cracks out of the man's backside.

Owwie. Dong Hwan is crushed and appears to be fading from consciousness. Oh noes! But wait! Squirming just enough to stomp his feet down to the ground below him, another shock of lightning flies up around him, hopefully giving Honda a strong enough jolt to put him out as well. Can he do it!? Will we have yet another DKO in this tournament of champions?! Either way, after the impact, Dong Hwan is unconscious, be it still in Honda's arms, or down on the ground.
COMBATSYS: DongHwan can no longer fight.

The sumo wrestler staggers once the bolt hits, letting go of Dong Hwan and stumbling back a bit. It's been a tough fight for both, and as the sumo wrestler drops down to his knees, holding himself up with an arm, the question everybody's wondering is...will he fall, too? Or will he, through sheer willpower, keep himself awake?
