You all think you're so clever, signing up thirty-eight fighters and expecting us to come up with sweet fight premises for all of them! I bet you've all been chuckling behind your hands, whispering about how the task was impossible, how Geese would never be able to do it. Well, we showed you! I've burst from my hiding place and come up with a fat pile of /twelve/ different matches for you all. Yeah. That'll teach you!
There aren't any special rules or anything, nor am I going to send you all @mails -- as if -- but I think my premises should be, at least to some degree, intuitive. Well, one or two of them won't be. Those are the ones I'm most looking forward to seeing, ahaha.

Signups cleared for this upcoming week's SNF. Three notes here.
1 - If you +signup, please show up to fight. If you sign up and decide later that you can't make it for this weekend, then please +wimpout or let an SNF admin know what's up.
2 - If you can't remember if you +signup'd or not, just type 'look signup' in the OOC cafe. That'll tell you. We only listen to the signup box, for reasons of point 1 above.
3 - Hitting +signup does not *guarantee* that you'll get into SNF, it signals your availability to participate in SNF. In the past few weeks, Geese has been including everyone who signed up. We may not be able to get a fight for everyone when we hit 60 SNF signups a week! D:

Important SNF Refresher! - Wed Mar 28 2007 - Gonzales

Hey guys, it's me, your friendly neighborhood Gonzales! I'm really glad there's been a lot of enthusiasm about SNF recently; it's got me stoked too. But what with all the many new faces, I have concluded it would be best if I picked up my microphone and gave everyone the rundown on how OOCly we are all to go about dealing with everyone's favorite weekly program. Please read this, as there will be Silver Points at the end.
Much of this is basically the same as what's in the protected post at the top of the SNF board, but times are changing and whatnot, so I figure it pays to be specific. I'm just going to list the important stuff here, even if it's redunant -- so you can't say I never told you! All of these things are for efficiency and everyone's convenience, and they should all be quite simple. It's just important to keep them in mind!
Now:
1) @MAIL YOUR RESULTS
You have no idea how helpful this is, and how hideously inconvenient it can be for us when this does not occur.
For the record: A volunteer from the list of participants in any given match -- traditionally the winner of the match -- must @mail whoever posted the matches with the results of their match. So, if Geese posted the matches, you @mail Geese. If I posted the matches, you @mail me. (Mentioning any particularly sweet moments is appreciated, but not required.)
If there was no match, if for example people's times just didn't coincide and nothing could be done about replacement fighters, please @mail us ANYWAY. It is important that we /know/ the match didn't go down so that we don't have to search through people's log lists to double-check. Don't be shy; take the initiative and let us know as soon as it becomes clear the match won't happen. Please.
2) SUBMIT YOUR LOGS
It's quick and easy! Whoever logged the fight, don't forget to log/submit. Generally it's best to do so immediately after the fight, unless, say, there was some brilliant OOC chatter you particularly want to preserve for posterity. Remember: if it's not submitted, it's not official, and if it's not official, it's not SNF!
There's only one thing you should do before submitting, and that's--
3) DESC YOUR LOGS
Or else I'll get really hyphy and write one for you in which you are described as 'stupid doo-doo dummy'.
Well, no I won't, because if I did that I'm sure half of you would categorically refuse to write descs ever again, but. Good descs are always appreciated, and are all we need before submitting is OK.
