A normal day in Metro-city's downtown section. Or is it? Of course not, not with the Arcade surrounded by velvet ropes, with a large paper banner hanging from its entrance that says, "World Warrior Fight... 2 NITE!"
So just who are the lucky participants of this insane battle, centered in the heart of the arcade, near the Last Battle and Road Puncher machines, where a wrestling ring has been erected around the multicolored ballpit?
Well the first contestant is easy to recognize. With his Pink Gi, boss-awesome ponytail, and general 'i'm-gonna-win-it-in-a-minute' attitude, it's undoubtedly DAN HIBIKI, head of the Saikyo Ryu school of martial arts. He prepares for battle by sliding on specially made wristguards, with flames on the top of them and the words 'SAKAZAKI GOIN' DOWN!' Does he have even a little bit of clue who he's fighting?
Of couruse not. Don't be silly.
Yes! The Arcade is as packed as packed could be, even for a battle between two relatively low ranking fighters. This is the World Warrior tournament after all, and furthermore Yuri at least has been doing everything she can think of to work up the crowd for this event. Rumors abound about her new move, which is now known to be called the 'Denjin Haoh Sho Ko Ken'. Message boards are filled to the brim with arguments between fans and detractors over whether or not it's just a clone of the Denjin Hadoken, as wielded by Ryu!
... well, tonight they'll probably get to find out.
Walking into the arena and towards the fighting arena is Yuri Sakazaki, the Kyokugen prodigy herself. Her fans cheer whole-heartedly for their hero, to whom the young woman is all-too-willing to give excited smiles, thumbs-ups, and poses for cameras in return! She's soaking up all the attention she's being given... after all, depending on how the battle swings she'll need all the moral support she can get!
The young woman jumps into the ring, taking some time afterwards to tighten her fingerless blue gloves and the belt that keeps her gi closed (no, she doesn't accidentally untie it so it slips open ... this time). She then turns towards her opponent, preparing for her first taunt of the night! At first all she sees is a flash of pink... a pink gi? What the Hell? This should be easy. In fact she tells him out loud, "Alright! I'll take you down quickly, no sense in making you suffer right?"
... wha... what startling ego. However, as her eyes adjust to the blinding arena lights in the darkened arcade she takes her first look at the fighter she is facing. Huh... wait... that ponytail... isn't it familiar? She still can't quite make out his face clearly, but doesn't wait for her eyes to adjust before putting her hands on her hips. She puffs out her cheeks in an angry pout before complaining. "Robert?! What are you doing here? ... I thought I was fighting some goofball... umm... Dance Fusions, or something?"
Dan blinks at the greeting a few times and says, "What?!? What are you talking about with this Robert garbage. What kind of rocket scientist doesn't even read the fight card! There's no Robert in any part of my name. I guess your name is probably actually Yuri STUPIDZAKI, huh? I'm Dan Hibiki! I'm famous."
To emphasizes this point he raises his arms to the crowd, where a group of three eight-year-old boys begin cheering their little lungs out. Whether this is actually about Dan or not is uncertain, as the rodent costumed mascot of the arcade walks right near them at the same exact time with free pizza.
Dan however revels in the cheering and says, "You hear that? Those are fans. Maybe you'll have a couple someday, though I doubt it. What kind of outfit is that, You're wearing a full body leotard under a tunic? That's stupid. Worst fashion sense I ever saw. What a terrible fighter! Where's your flair girl? You need FLAIR! STYLE. PIZZAZ! --"

"You see? Even the little children know! Now let's get this show started, because you're just a speed bump on the road to victory! Let's"

What what WHAT?! Since when did Robert talk to her like that!?! "Dan Hibiki? Whaaat? Where did you come up with a stupid name like that, sheesh..." A bead of sweat appears on Yuri's head, and she lets her head fall into her palm with a sigh. Soon she shakes her head, before raising it to face her opponent again. "Alright, "Daaaan", if you really want this badly to fight me then a..."
She stops in mid sentence. Primarily because her eyes were allowed to adjust a bit further, and now can make out the features of Dan's face clearly.
Oh dear fugly...
The young woman actually turns a bit green for a minute, then a bit red... before breaking out laughing, "Oh! You almost had me going there. You look a lot like Robert from the back perhaps, but with a face like that not even your mama could love you!"
Well... now that the confusion is out of the way, Yuri takes her time to address the taunts that the Saikyo Master (snicker) threw at her. She merely waves her hand and pffts, "I have plenty of fans! And many of them are here tonight. C'mon everyone! Let Pinky over here hear it!"
And thus the over half of the crowd cheers for her! Primarily... 8 year old girls, actually. Huh... it's like an Elementary School trip in here! Were it not the creepy old men with mint condition Yuri action figures still within the packaging (though not totally unmolested...) sitting in the front row leering at her. Yuri takes a moment to glance over the crowd, and seeing them gets a visible cold chill down her spine.
Oooookay, enough of that!
"Well... let's get the festitivies started with a flash then, huh? Time for an old favorite... Ko'ou Ken!!!" With that she rushes towards Dan ... but suddenly falls, into the floor it seems. Or rather, into the ball pit. This effectively interrupts her attack... as she looks around a bit sheepishly, "Oh, right, I forgot about this..."
Looks like Dan may get the first attack after all!

Dan looks down at Yuri as she lands in the ballpit and scratches his chin, "Hmm. Yeah. That was. Well," he stops talking and shrugs before looking towards the throng of people and then back towards Yuri with a grin on his face, "What was that? This is not a charade. Let me show you how to fight, since well I mean. Obviously you couldn't find your fist if it was attached to the end of your wrist, which it so very obviously is."
With that, Dan hops into the ball pit, like a scuba-diver, sending up a spray of multicolored balls in his wake. His ponytail trailing behind him like a shark's dorsal fin as the most deadly of predators begins to set about his dirty work.
As he nears Yuri Sakazaki, he rears up from the technicolor deep, with his mouth open wide, and his fist in an uppercut of eppic proportions, "KORE GA SAIKYO RYU! Y'SHAAAAAAARRRRRRRKKKKK!"

Though in Yuri's head, the 'dum's have a 'b' on the end. As the Saikyo Shark rushes towards her it's hard to see where he's coming from - at least it would be if not for that dorsal fin of a ponytail leading her on. When he rushes up to uppercut Yuri, he will find she's ready for him - with her arms crossed in front of her to effectively block his vicious uppercut! Which, while it certainly does sting, it could have been much... MUCH worse than it did.
After the attack is finished, the youngest Sakazaki drops her guard - shaking one arm while grinning slightly, "Yow! That almost stung. I can see you're a /real/ competitor now huh? I better just pack up my things and leave before you beat up poor lil ol' me."
"Pfft... as if."
She pulls back her arm again, this time a flash of light crimson chi lighting up within her fist. Her voice shouts out, "Ko'ou Ken!!!" as she throws her hand forward, attempting to hit Dan with the massive wall-like chi flame that bursts to life in front of her! This attack also sends dozens of balls flying out into the audience, each of which are caught by cheering fans... some of which in a violent manner.
What's a good fight without a good riot?!

As the massive wall of chi comes hurtling towards him, Dan makes every attempt to dive back into the ballpit's safety. It's just that his long exageratted dive brings his back end way up into the air, making Yuri's precisely practiced attack painfully purloin purchase on his patootie. Simply put? Dan gets Ko'Ouken'd right in the ass.
"AGGGGGH!" He cries out in surprise, and then spins it a little bit to save face, "What was that? The weakest thing I've ever felt is what. You need to learn what a fireball is!"
Once again he surfaces, after he's in the right position to strike. His hands go akimbo, and his knees bend. The index and middle finger on both hands remain upward as he concentrates his energy into a single attack so mindbogglingly awesome that words fail to convey its true essence.
Two very tiny gadoukens merging into one and putt-putting towards Yuri like a depressed inchworm! Do it Dan Hibiki. You've got it locked DOWN!

As Dan tries to respond with a projectile of his own, Yuri knows just what to do! She'll Saiha the sucker right back at him. She's grinning ear to ear with anticipation - she LOVES feeding someone's 'omg uber i'll show u' fireballs right back into their own face... however... something about THIS fireball changes her mind.
Perhaps it's the size... perhaps it's the speed of the attack... who knows. But the weakly fluttering ball of chi coming at her earns a snicker... followed by a full-on laugh! Laughing so hard, in fact, that she almost forgets to dodge out of the way before it hits her - but dodge she does, and the pitiful Gadouken goes on to meet its destiny. Probably fading away before it can do any significant damage honestly.
"Alright alright. That was pretty good... honestly, it was!" snicker... "But c'mon, this isn't a game! Well... I mean it is, kinda, but still don't go easy on me just because I'm a babe - cuz I'm a kick-ass fighter too!" She then dives under the ball herself. In her case, it's her braid which forms a Kyokugen Dorsal Fin that sails through the water towards her opponent. However ... rather than throw an uppercut... unless Dan moves he will suddenly feel something hit him. It wasn't ... a foot... or a hand.
Did she just smack him with her butt?

As Yuri's buttocks begins to come up towards him, Dan looks down with the fury of a million Saikyo soldiers coursing through his veins, and reaches into his Gi pocket. As if the other fighter were moving in slow motion he grabs a very special 8x10, and removes the clear plastic backing. Adhesive?!?!? You'd better believe it.
The man with the fiery audacity slaps that photo of himself right onto her ass, and pulls out a sharpie as he's nearly bowled over. He autographis the space next to his face with a simple phrase, "You're father definitely wasn't a pirate, You ain't got no good Booty. --Dan Hibiki"
OUTRAGEOUS!
Of course, from Yuri's perspective she only knows one thing has happened...
SLAP!
After she finishes her attack, Yuri stands straight up and stares at Dan, her eyebrow twitching with rage. "Wha-wha-what was that?! Did you just feel me up?! You... you... DIRTY OLD MAN!"
Unfortunately for Yuri though, she doesn't notice the Dan autograph currently waving back and forth on her booty, as small as it may be. Nor does she notice the message Dan left for her. Though one hopes that it falls off or is removed before Robert notices it. Or else there may be Bad Things (TM) in store for Dan in the future.
The Italian Hulk, with sharp pointy shoes.
"Why... you..." Suddenly Yuri rushes towards her opponent, full of indignant rage! She's not sure what that word means honestly... but dammit she's full up to the brim with it. The balls in the pit literally fly around the room in her wake as she tries to grab ahold of that stupid pink gi with one hand, preparing to deliver and painful assault upon Dan's face with the other! Imagine a bitch slap. Now imagine a bitch slap wielded by a woman trained by Takuma Sakazaki himself... now imagine 100 of them.
Yeah, this'll sting... if she can grab the slippery bastahd.

Dan is all gripped up on and says, "H..hey now it was nothing personal. I don't know where that b--oh god!"
Yeah that mighty bitchslap followed by ninety nine more of them is something that Dan doesn't find very pleasant in the least. The last one has what one in the field would call expert timing, because as it connects with him, some child far off in the arcade playing SUPER BASEBALL2020 hits a home run, the sound of a graphite bat hitting a baseball echoes through the entire arcade.
"AAaaaaaaiiiiiiiieeeeeeee!" Dan begins his retaliation, shaking his head wildly, and launching his foot out towards Yuri in a very simple no nonsense kick. Though really, he's being made a mockery of today. Who is this woman?!?!
Quite probably his brand new student.

The no-nonsense kick is met with a no-nonsense block! Yuri's right leg lifting up to block the incoming assault in a very non-typical karate block. However, the Raiou Principle of the Kyokugen Discipline inspires its followers to use their instinct, and use their training in ways that are atypical... or just plain weird!
I mean, who attacks with their butt, honestly?
Yuri soon plants her foot carefully on the ground beneath the multicolored balls in the pit. "Alright... I feel better now. Not that you're off the hook or anything, Old Man! I'm going to enjoy this..." she grins, bringing her hands together and cracking her knuckles. "... just you wait and see!"
Once again she dives under the sea of multi-colored spheres. However this time there is no attempt to smack the annoying Saikyo master with her butt! Nor is there a sudden shot to the pills - nah, after the last few fights that has become cliche. And usually ends up in her being ubered by one of their attacks later. Instead, suddenly Yuri leaps, with her entire body, out of the balls in a flying pounce! "NYAAA~~~N!" She attempts to plant both hands on top of his head, before swinging down with her feet to WHOMP him in the stomach! A new move? Perhaps...
But honestly it's just one heavy kick!

As Yuri becomes airborne, Dan Hibiki grins hugely, as if he's the only holder of a very important secret. His secret becomes clear the moment his body corkscrews down, storing up momentum like a fleshy spring.
That momentum is released with a huge cry of "KOURYUKEN!" as his body spins upward right towards Yuri's torso, bringing a tornado wrapped in a hurricane of balls with it. The force of the uppercut is such that it sends some of those plastic pebbles soaring out into the hands of the spectators, a souvenir of a masterful plan.
At the height of the uppercut, Dan looks right into Yuri's eyes, and with the hand that isn't buried deep in her body he gives her a huge thumbs up, "You've got spirit, Kid!"
And Yuri is airborne...er! Because certainly after the punch buries itself into her stomach, causing her to spit up what is certainly a bit of her dinner into the balls below, and after seeing the thumbs-up Dan gives her, which just causes her eyes to widen slightly, the transferred force from the fist sends her flying up and away!
Dammit, did that kid get ANOTHER home run on that game? He's good...
Yuri comes slamming back down into the ball pit below, resulting in another spray. Needless to say there will be many souveneirs of this fight! Unless the coordinators have an equally masterful plan to get them back before everyone leaves. Yuri stays under the surface for a moment though... the cameras unable to send her... was that it?! Just one good hit and she's down?! Is the Kyokugen legend over!?!
Not quite. Soon afterwards she rises from the ball pit, favoring one side slightly but otherwise alright. She gives Dan her own spirited thumbs-up. What is eerie about it... it almost looks like a mirror of the one he did earlier! Huh... you almost think that one is designed to the the copy-cat of the other, or something... mmm... "Good! Good! You actually managed to get a clean hit on me! Now it's my turn to show you what a REAL fireball is like... are you ready for this?!"
The Kyokugen fighter pulls back one hand, once again the light crimson glow lighting in her fist. She calls out, "Ko'ou Ke---" She stops - and for good reason, she's much too far to sling a Ko'ou Ken and expect it to hit. However, instead she pulls the chi back, cupping it with both hands and granting it a greater surge in power, "Wait a minute, didn't I tell ya this was a HAOH SHO KO KEN!" She then turns around, throwing out her hands in front of her to allow the massive ball of light red chi to flow from her hands and towards its intended target!

Dan continues to grin as she talks about her ultimate fireball attack, with one of his hands rubbing the muscles of his neck as he speaks, "How's Hulk Hogan? How the hell should I know. I'm good, but I'm not as good as ~he~ is. Seriously."
Then he launches into action, running like a man posessed to meet the fireball, with one hand in trim of his Gi, and the other hanging behind his butt while yellow and blue and red and green balls crunch and shift underneath him. Clearly he has amazing balance.
As he comes right up to the fireball, that hand behind him moves forward, slicing through the air and glowing cyan, while time seems to stand still. "SHINKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
"GADOUKEN!!!!!!!!" Is the cry that sends the cyan glob of chi away from Dan, ripping through Yuri's attack and hurtling... er. Kinda...hurtling? Slowly floating? Yes, slowly floating towards Yuri on a collision course. The bullet is enormous. Jumping... is useless.

Alright that was shocking! Needless to say, watching her fireball get ripped apart by the slowly floating Shinkuu Gadouken wasn't something that the Kyokugen Prodigy was expecting!
Wait... Shinkuu?
She's HEARD that shit before.
Suddenly she points at Dan, "Ah... ah... you're copying Saku---" ... oh damn, she forgot about the fireball. Well, she's good for this right? Right?! She raises her hands in front of her and attempts to deflect the ball with a flash of light crimson chi, "SAIHA!"
... unfortunately though, ball of flame hasn't reached her yet when the Saiha's chi finishes flashing... so she tries again, "SAIHA!!!"
... nope, not yet... well one more time, "SAI---!" WHACK! Augh... a bit too late. The slow-moving ball of chi smacks into her, knocking her back a few feet. However, in the end, she stays on her feet. As painfully big as it looked... it really didn't seem to hurt her much at all. In fact, Yuri looks at Dan surprised with wide eyes, "Was... was that it?"
Dan smiles and says, "Of course that was it. What do you think I want to kill you? This isn't a death murder kill bloodsport starring Jean Claude Van-Damme. Its just a simple fight. I mean, jeeze louise if I had hit you with my full power you would be nothing but ash. I'm a nice guy, really!"
That said, he hops on his feet, and continues his assault, pushing forward with one fist towards Yuri in such a way that it looks like it might break bone. His bone. His wrist bone. What the hell are you doing.
"To move heaven and hell with one mighty blow. I grow tired of you. Finishing Strike. Kyuukyoku Tenchi Gadou Zuki Zuki nawwwwwwwww Y'shaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."
Oh Dan. What have you been eating?

As Dan comes flying towards her with a mighty punch, Yuri just stands there. An aura of her chi radiates from her body as she assumes a typical pose for the Haoh Sho Ko Ken - hands held back, cupped around a center point where her chi is gathered while her face looks towards the enemy. As Dan comes closer too a crimson glow flashes to life within the palms of her hands, and then an electric charge begins to build around her.
Literally, not figuratively - electricity actually starts to arc all over her body! It starts small at first. A few sparks running through her arms and legs, then larger archs that play between her arms and between her body and the sea of colorful spheres below her. In this posture she doesn't move when he comes to hit her. Nah... she just decides to take this small blow in order to prepare to unleash the bomb.
... no, not THAT kind of bomb. Yuri hasn't been eating spoiled food again - honest!
Regardless the attack does hurt her. It causes her to wince, but she's still smiling right before she says, "I don't intend to kill you Old Man... but we gotta give the fans a show right... so take this... ground zero... DENJIN HAOH SHO KO KEN!"
She then thrusts forward both of her hands, spread outwards in a wide angle towards Dan's stomach and face. In the middle a MASSIVE ball of gathered chi is expelled - intending to smack him in the chest. If possible ... it will not only hit him, but drag him with it towards the very edges of the ring. For you see that is the nature of a Denjin Haoh Sho Ko Ken - it doesn't stop til you do.

And so the Denjin Attack about Hulk Hogan carried Dan on a mystical journey towards the end of the ring, full of hobbits, and dragons, and dwarves, and elves, and wizards, and pain. Well. Except for the pain part, and the end of the ring part everything else about that was just a lie. As he finds himself on the ropes, he hangs there and looks up towards Yuri, thinking wildly and feeling the burn so to speak.
On a mostly related note, his wrist guards have had their neat designs completely charred right the hell off of them. One of his eyes hangs shut, and then it looks like he has an epiphany.
"Ha....... HA HA HA HA HA... HAAAAAA HAAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAAAA," He begins laughing at Yuri, bellowing throughout the pllace as if he were actually on the winning end of this sticky situation, "Look, Kid. When I beat the sense out of you, you come by my Dojo, and we'll set you on the right path. I....oof....I think you've got a lot of potential. You remind me a lot of my best student. But I think....right now...."
He pushes himself off the ropes and stands firm, "It's time. Time for us to finish this!" With that he takes two wobbly steps forward, before leaping off the ground, and swinging his feet in a triad of aerial roundhouses that a small child could see coming a mile away.
"DAN DAN"
"KYAKU!"

Yuri is most certainly pleased when her Denjin Haoh Sho Ko Ken hits home. It most certainly was spectacular enough. Even some of Dan's fans must be amazed by now! ... well... they're 8 year old boys, of course they're amazed! But Yuri's fans are absolutely roaring by now. They're pulling out their cell phones, snapping pictures, talking to their friends 'like omg it was so awesome and flashy and big I was, like, so amazed omg!'
Why is it that Yuri has all the valley girl fans?
Nevermind that. Yuri just watches Dan, breathing deep... careful breaths. She's clearly winded. That last attack took a lot out of her. She knows Dan isn't down yet though, but she's not out of the game either! Though it's coming close to the end.
As Dan comes rushing towards her with a flying, spinning kick... Yuri just smirks at him. She crouches down, raising her shoulder so that one of the kicks smacks it instead of her face. She cries out, "That's a Chou Mawashi Geri! And this..." She starts to rise very quickly, very powerfully, in a spinning uppercut of herculean proportions!
At least... for someone of her fighting skilly.
"This is a YURI CHOU UPPER!"
Flash...
GONG!
Right in the babymaker folks. That's right, the problem with that spinning aerial kick attack is that it leaves you right open for revenge in the worst possible way. Yuri's butt is avenged... now.
"AAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHODDDDDD. RIGHT IN THE MEAN BEAN MACHINE!" Dan calls out as he feels his devil dog getting its cream filling knocked right out of it. As he lands he holds himself in the most peculiar way, squeezing tears out of his eyes and whimpering like a small baby child.
At least, momentarily. Finally, he finds the strength to stand up. His shaky knees taking him up to Yuri as his chest heaves from all the breathing he's doing, all the pain he's trying to contain.
One hand launches out, "Hi.....Hi.s....Hisshouuu..."
And then a flurry of punches and kicks follow, the speed of the fighter coming back almost instantly as he tries to connect with Yuri and put her down for the count.

I mean seriously, what the Hell?!
You hit a man there, the man goes down... right?! I mean it wasn't totally intentional (just mostly...) that she hit him there. But it's absolutely bizarre that he came back like that, full of energy and vigor, trying to smash her in the face. She just stares in pure shock, dodging each punch as it comes even in her painfully winded shape. She asks him, "What... the... Hell... ARE YOU!?" and bounds back against the side of the ring.
She grabs ahold of it, breathing raggedly as she tries to regain her breath. It it clear she's on the ropes now... and frustration is showing on her face. All she can do though is try her best to regain her breath, to regain whatever strength she can muster... and try to continue to fight....

As Dan launches his last avoided punch his nostrils flare and he breathes in the air of the arcade and screams out in revelation, "Y'SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Yuri Sakazaki, I am DAN Hibiki! And I am your worst nightmare! Worse than the time you had to sleep with the light on all night because you thought a monster was under your bed. That monster was nothing but your imagination, I'm very real...and I'm very angry!"
Yeah, and can you blame him, really? He's been kind of abused in a very tender area today and now he's got to win to prove it to the world that no one should hit anyone there without being fully aware of the consequences. Once more he advances, running forward as adrenaline carries him into another one of those famously stolen uppercuts.
"Kouryuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuken!!!!"

The lucky thing about having one of those famously stolen uppercuts as your signature move is that you're fully aware of its weaknesses. And, indeed, just as Dan prepares to smack her with it she quickly leaps out of the way - jumping into the ball pit and beneathe it.
There is some rapid motion beneathe the rolling spheres... and then... silence. It's clear she thrashed and moved around, trying to confuse her opponent as to her true location and make things more difficult for him. Meanwhile she continues to pause, wait, and try to bring back as much strength as she can manage. She's not done yet... she just needs some time dammit...
... Dad is gonna kill her at this rate...

Dan looks around for his oponent as he frowns deeply, "Oh so that's how it's going to be! You're going to punch me right in the Mandingo and then hide around the place? What a lack of discipline!!!!"
With quick motions he begins to pick up the balls in the ballpit and fling them with a quick speed and ferocity. Is he actually trying to throw the balls? No of course not. He's hoping in these huge hugs of plastic that he's getting that he'll find Yuri's hiding spot beneath the waves.
There will be vengeance. Oh yes. There will be vengeance

To be truthful, Dan was close... deadly close to picking out Yuri's hiding place within the confines of her plastic hiding place. However Dan's anger works against him, and the sound of his voice tips Yuri off as to where he's located. Thus she skitters away before he manages to grab ahold of her, all at the price of an advantageous position!
However it's time for her to stop running away. It may not be much, but Yuri suddenly pops out of the balls, like a dolphin leaping from the water. She attempts to flip over his head, smacking him on the dome, before finally splashing down into the ball pit behind him. Her voice can then be heard declaring, "The Sakazaki clan motto: NEVER DIE! ... also never accept wooden nickels and screw them harder and faster than they screw you. But still! I'm not done yet, you jerk!"
COMBATSYS: Dan fails to interrupt Quick Punch from Yuri with Kyuukyoku Tenchi Gadou Zuki.

Dan's going for it! GOING RIGHT THE HELL FOR IT IT SEEMS, unfortunately, going right the hell for it entails punching out in a quick way towards absolutely nothing as his head is slapped like he were bald, "Ow hey! What the! Sheesh! What was that, that wasn't even. I mean.. honestly! Are you going to come out here and fight for real? You're ruining my reputation, girl!"
Oh Dan. Why?
The response to Dan's question is, "I'm ruining /you're/ reputation?! What about mine?! If I can't even take a perverted old freak like you down then my fanbase will never forgive me!"
With that, some of the balls leading towards Dan wriggle with Yuri's passing. Geeze... she's quite adept at moving through a ball pit isn't she? Kinda makes you think that when she was young she often abused Robert into taking her to the local arcade... and slowly drain all his money into token machine and cheap pizza until she finally got that lousy toy on the shelf that could be purchased much more easily with half the money than she spent getting those stupid tickets. Ahhhh, those were the days!
Regardless, in the here and now, Dan should probably feel something grabbing at his ankles. If successful... well you'll see what happens!

As Yuri grips up on Dan's ankles, Dan balls his fist up tightly and thrusts his hand down towards Yuri's shoulderblades with a mighty whipping of air against his Gi, "Ha! Now you're just being careless. I would expect you to make such a rookie mistake. What with, being a rookie. You...rookie. Hooh boy. Are you getting really tired too, because I mean. I could use a lemonade. When I win you'll buy me one right?"
Dan, clearly is insensitive to the fact that he probably should be laying down in the ballpit with his tongue hanging out and his eyes rolled up into the back of his head, but how long can adrenaline really keep him going?
Come on Yuri, you can do it! I believe in you!
Damn! That hurt too much... and though Yuri managed to give Dan's ankles a vicious Indian Burn with her fingers... that was all she could really do. Instead she just rushes away again - this time to the far side of the arena. She reaches up with one hand, grabbing onto the side of the ball pit. Though she looks more energetic, not breathing as hard, it's clear that everything hurts. Every move, everything she attempts to do. So... instead she just tries to take more deep breaths. She needs to hold out a bit longer... just a bit longer.
That, and if she gets hit at this point, she's a goner unless she can recover just a lil bit!

Dan crosses his arms and sighs as he watches Yuri swim away again, before he starts moving forward, and singing like a crazed berserker. "SAIKYO SAIKYO SAIKYO SAIKYO SAIKYO RULES ALL OTHER SCHOOLS ARE FULL OF FOOLS OH YEAAAAAAHHHH." It's a good thing he doesn't take up Karaoke, because that has to be one of the most god-awful sounds that's ever come out of anyone's mouth. It's like. Agh. Ears would begin bleeding if it were amplified.
But as for Yuri, he tries to get near her, and toss her. Quickly. Over his shoulder. A mighty hurl. One that will forever live in infamy if it actually succeeds. C'mon Dan. Those 8 years olds need a hero!

As Yuri is picked up, and flung away like so much trash, the stars flash before her eyes! Primarily from her head connecting against the side of the ring in a most painful way. She groans loudly... her entire body aching from the pain she has had to endure thus far. Yet she stands up, she stands up slowly, shakily, and pulls her hands behind her. She tries her best - she does... you can see the beginning sparks gathering around her. The sparks that fizzle out and whimper in mid-air. She just starts laughing to herself...
"You're not that skilled. You've just... you've just been smacked around a lot, that's all... so you don't know when to go down... but that's OK... cuz I don't know when to go down either... Haoh Sho Ko Ken!" She then unleashes what little chi she has gathered forward into a massive ball of light crimson chi! Hopefully it'll hit him and keep him back. Otherwise things will just be more difficult from here on out...

Dan oofs as he's rocked by another ball of chi energy. His eyes going wide and his lungs burning. His ribs probably close to breaking from the massive beating that the girl has been putting him through. No matter who wins now, it's huge news. A girl taking down an attacker against all odds, or a man pulling through struggle to win? Oh, who to bet on. Decisions. Decisions.
The Saikyo sensei focuses himself and stares towards Yuri, before giving a quick hop forward. He's been fooled by the girl's attacks in the past. But he won't get fooled again. His fist once again launches forward in the Ultimate Saikyo combo starter, whipping through the air and trying to find purchase on her body.
"Hishou BURAI RAI RAI RAI RAI KEN.. AGAIN! YEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! HIBIKI STYLE!"

So that's it! One of Dan's blows finds Yuri's body. Then another... and yet another. In a vicious succession, beating every little bit of fight out of her. How could she possibly... POSSIBLY come back after a brutal beatdown like that?
Well ... Dan did it, didn't he?!
... OK it's probably pretty much impossible for her. However she's still going for it. As she stumbles backwards, knocked out of the ball pit by the force of the blows. She holds her head in pain...
"Hehe... Saikyo huh? Just... just some useless copy of Kyokugen... that's all. Just some worthless copy!" She pulls herself up, electricity sparking all over her body once more. Desperation flashes in her eyes as she pulls her hands back, igniting a ball of crimson chi within her cupped palms!
Dan should remember this well enough... and Yuri smiles towards him, "I'll buy you lemonade if you don't dodge this attack... DENJIN HAOH SHO KO KEN!"
So which is it Dan... lemonade, or nadda?! YOU DECIDE!

Not one to disappoint, Dan Hibiki does what might be the stupidest thing he's ever done, he begins to calmly walk right into Yuri's ultimate display of CHI. His mouth wrenches open in a hellish scream as he walks through the fireball. And as he steps out of it on the other side, his gi is mostly missing, save for some brand new pink cut-off shorts, "KORE GA SAIKYO-RYU. STRONGEST. BEST. BELIEVE IT!"
Yeah, okay Naruto...
Seeing Dan still standing after the most brutal attack she could provide... Yuri just sighs softly. She collapses to her knees then, only muttering one last snide comment, "Yeah... whatever..." before finally collapsing to her side and onto the ground. All the while that autograph of Dan is, somehow, still stuck on her butt. And unless it is removed by whoever comes to pick her up out of the ring... so it shall remain!
And Dan shall be DOOOOMED....
