Description: An epic battle aboard an empty supertanker in Southtown's Harbor! Can Hinako overcome two people who live the Body Electric? (Winner: Hinako)
The crash of the waves dimmed by the murmurs of a crowd waiting for blood, the salty smell of ocean air... A lone figure in a grey business suit stands up on the smaller deck overlooking the main deck, leaning on the rail with a slight frown as he waits for his opponent and ally to arrive. His shockingly white hair tousled by something slightly more dangerous than wind. "Fighting on an oil ship... this doesn't seem right... they did remove the oil, though... right?" The Greek frowns a little as he looks across the vast technological contraption, his distaste for it perhaps more than simple worries about safety issues.
Hinako, for her part, isn't too worried about the possible ecological impact of this fight. She may be strong, but she's not going to be splitting a supertanker in half anytime soon. Coming up onto the deck of the ship, she reaches out to hold down her beret as a brisk wind blows across the ship. That could be a problem; it would be a shame if it blew off and fell in the ocean.
That's only a minor concern though, compared to the fight itself. This will be Hinako's first time being pitted in a match against two opponents. Apparently somebody is confident in her skills. She's not sure if she's that confident herself... But for the sake of her sumo honor she's going to do her best.
Moving into position on the center of the deck, she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. She's going to have to be calm and prepared to pull this off.
The supertanker is, presumably, empty--although one can't be sure without checking the holds. Not something Aislinn is particularly interested in. The Silent Assassin is, despite Lykaio being the only visible figure, on-scene, and has been for a half-hour. It is only now, however, with Lykaio making himself visible, that Aislinn makes her presence known... walking out of the shadows, her boots making only the faintest of sounds thanks to their rubber-cushioned soles. And no, they don't squeak. It's a soft, ominous padding, and Lykaio may not even realize his erstwhile teammate is there until she steps up beside him. Certainly the SNF officials were surprised, as a low murmuring breaks out amongst them. Aislinn stamps down, testing the steel of the ship... and finds it solid enough, for now.
She is the Silent Assassin and it shows in her lack of speech... nothing to encourage Lykaio. Aislinn is not one for teamwork. With Hinako's arrival, Aislinn presumes the 'festivities' will soon be starting, and so she takes several deliberate steps away from Lykaio... seeming to concede the start of this fight to Hinako.
Lykaio squints down at Hinako from the rather large distance between them, frowning. "...A girl? I hope she's my teammate, then...." He turns quickly as Aislinn steps behind him, and frowns a bit, looking Aislinn over. He smiles confidently, putting his worries behind him. "...Excuse me. Are you 'Hinako', or 'Aislinn'?" ...Apparently he hasn't done his homework.
Either way, though, he place his thumbs together and spreads his fingers apart to make a fan, electrical energy beginning to spark around him. Bright light flashes from his hands, and seeminly in an instant, three will-o-the-wisp like orbs suddenly float around him in slow random movements, electrical energy arcing between him and them from time to time.

Hinako looks over her two opponents, but neither of them really ring any bells for her. Oh well. She'll learn as she goes. She slams her fists together, then bows to Lykaio and Aislinn. "Okay, here we go! Let's have a good fight!" And so it goes. The ship's horn is sounded to indicate the start of the fight, and Hinako is off.
Since she doesn't really know either opponent it's really a tossup as to who to attack first. Well, except for the sparks coming from Lykaio. Dealing with that kind of thing isn't Hinako's strong point, so in this case a good offense is probably the best defense. Running across the deck toward Lykaio, Hinako attempts to get a hand on his shoulder. If she should succeed in that, she tries to introduce his face to the deck of the ship.

Aislinn... is Aislinn. And Hinako is Hinako. That Hinako has charged Lykaio despite the electrical energy surrounding him ought to make clear just who is the opponent in this fight. Aislinn is glad she's separated herself from Lykaio's personal area, once that energy blossoms... as familiar as she is with the touch of electric chi, she has no desire to feel it herself.
With Hinako charging in on Lykaio, Aislinn could try to intercept, or otherwise throw Hinako off, but... why would she? She doesn't know Lykaio from Adam. She would rather prepare herself for the inevitability of having to fight Hinako herself... presuming of course that Hinako and Lykaio don't DKO each other and leave Aislinn as last cyborg standing.
The Silent Assassin, then, remains silent, her violet eyes growing intense as she stares at Hinako, seeking faults and flaws and openings to exploit.

Lykaio's eyes widen as he sees Hinako close in. He grabs one of the orbs, and smashes it between his hands, pushing the energy out towards Hinako in a suprisingly nonharmful wave of electrical power that nevertheless pushes her back far enough that she can't throw him for the moment. "You... really shouldn't use direct throws on me. Touch my body only for short periods, if possible...."
This piece of advice given, he falters for a moment, staring at Hinako with a rather uneasy look. Lacking the martial spirit, perhaps. He then grins, and throws the second orb behind Aislinn, where it hangs for the time being, waiting to help her in any attacks she should attempt.

Don't use direct throws? It's nice to offer advice and all, but Hinako doesn't really have an option when it comes to that. Her hands are pretty much all she has to fight with. At least sumo doesn't use a lot of full body grapples like Western wrestling; that'd probably be even worse. Still, she should be polite. "Thanks for the advice!" Hinako beams at Lykaio with a happy smile.
And she's still smiling as she lashes out with a palm strike aimed at the little god's chest. That's to stun him for a moment more than anything, because her next move is to hook her hand around the side of his chest to once more try hurling him down to the deck.
To say that Aislinn is getting used to being ignored by her opponents... would be a terrible lie. In fact, it's something very akin to something she's going to end up hating. It is, in a way, the ultimate insult. Aislinn's eyes narrow, and she lunges forward. Her attack comes just after Hinako's second effort against Lykaio; it is a simple, lunging punch, Aislinn pushing off and flying the few yards to cross the distance to Hinako in something akin to the flash. That odd electrical orb follows her, as if alive, orbiting her... Aislinn has no time to consider it--it would require too much of her concentration, and so she'll analyze it later, but it seems to be intent on aiding her in some fashion...

Lykaio blinks as Hinako rushes in towards him again. "...Er, didn't I just..." He raises his arms in an amaeteurish attempt to block the palm strike, but that doesn't really do much about the throw that she lands on him. Unfortunately for our brave sumo protagonist, however, Lykaio's body surges with electricity reflexively in his attempt to avoid contact. So even while she manages to smash him into the deck rather painfully, electrical energy pours through her in a completed circuit.

Hinako jerks away from her contact with Lykaio, hair frizzing out as the electricity surges through her. She blinks in surprise (or should we say 'shock'?) a few times, but manages to recover in time to notice Aislinn coming in toward her. The Silent Assassin's punch meets a swiftly raised arm, and the blow fails to make Hinako budge.
Okay... Maybe leaving Lykaio alone for a /little/ while couldn't hurt. At least until Hinako's heart rate returns to normal, anyway. So, that leaves us with Aislinn. Lunging at her female opponent, Hinako attempts to wrap an arm around her stomach... and just keep running. If she can, she yanks Aislinn right off the ground, and keeps going until she reaches the wall of the ship's cabin. Into which she intends to slam Aislinn with enough force to dent the metal side.

Aislinn actually rebounds off Hinako's arm... impressive, given the effort put into that punch. Not quite on the level of a 'special technique'... but stronger than most. And it is that rebound that saves her; it gives her just enough distance to land and set herself, going into motion just moments after Hinako lunges for her.
The motion is sure, swift, and some would say, brutal, at least in theory and in execution. Just as Hinako stopped Aislinn... Aislinn now stops Hinako. But not with an arm. No, Hinako's headlong charge is stopped with a perfectly-timed right knee strike that greets the sumo girl in the chest, the impact meant to throw her back and open her guard further for the followup--Aislinn pivoting on her left foot and thrusting her right out in a snap side kick to knock Hinako back. It seems like tough choices for the sumo either way...
Lykaio slowly gets to his feet, and frowns, staring with a concerned look as he watches Aislinn brutally knock back Hinako. "...Beating up eachother in an arena... is this what befits Gods...? Why is everyone draw to this constant battle? Why do they fight each other purposely, even though they could make a difference ...I feel like there's something I'm missing, here...." He slowly moves his eyes between the two of them, vast philosophical issues moving through his head.
...Which, unfortunately, has very little effect on actual combat.

Well... Perhaps neither of these opponents is a good match for Hinako's sumo style. But isn't that the entire point of these fights? To try to find ways to adapt sumo to meet any kind of situation which might arise?
Hinako coughs a few times as Aislinn knocks the wind out of her and sends her staggering back. It's a smell blessing that her two opponents haven't really done much in the way of teamwork, but how long is that going to last? The schoolgirl's eyes dart back and forth between her two opponents. Aislinn appears quite ready for another attack from Hinako, while Lykaio... seems to be paying less attention. It's not the nicest thing to attack someone in that position, but it's not like she's attacking him from behind. She has to reach him first, anyway.
Physics isn't exactly Hinako's strong suit, so she doesn't realize just how bad an idea it would be to grab someone like Lykaio with both hands. And so that's what she attempts to do, running at Lykaio and reaching out for his shoulders. Her intent is to grab him and spin, sending him rolling and bouncing across the deck. Hopefully before she gets shocked.
On the contrary, attacking from behind is perfectly legitimate, in Aislinn's book; whatever what must be done to win a battle is the correct and right choice, the only choice to make. Having repelled Hinako's headlong charge, Aislinn lowers her right leg slowly--showboating just a tiniest bit... and then Hinako's off to attack the Little God(tm). That's fine with Aislinn... but it doesn't mean she can't keep up either. Moments after Hinako rushes Lykaio down, Aislinn is rushing Hinako down, taking several steps that clang against the supertanker's deck from the sheer force of it... and then she's leaping, seeking to take Hinako's -head- off with a flying thrust kick that would do a Kyokugen proud; it is a kick that sees Aislinn's right leg extend fully horizontal, her left stretched downwards for balance... and as that kick thrusts out, there's a red-white flare of her own electrical chi power, culminating in a shock if it hits.

Seeing Hinako lunging towards him, Lykaio steps forwards and to one side of Hinako. He let out a bright flash of light as he does so to make it seem like teleportation, then ducks down to the floor level to avoid the oncoming kick to grab at her legs. Perhaps figuring he won't *really* be responsible if it's just Aislinn kicking her head. After all, no kick to the head could be as dangerous as electricity, or something? It's not very well thought through. Even less so as he realizes that he has just grabbed her...

Hinako may not be the most agile of fighters, but that doesn't mean her reaction times are slow. When she hears the footsteps clanging up behind her she risks a glance over her shoulder and sees Aislinn leaping into the air. "Eep!" Luckily the cyborg girl was aiming high, so Hinako is able to simply crouch down low and let the kick scythe over her head.
This also brings her face to face with Lykaio, who has a hand around her ankle. And with their relative positions and Hinako's short dress has a view that is, well... awkward for Hinako. "Gyah!" Her face goes red, and she reaches out to grab Lykaio by the back of the head. They're already too low for hurling him down to do much good, but slamming his face into the ship's deck is still quite effective. Afterwards she quickly jumps back to her feet, blushing.
Hunh. Hadn't expected the little sumo girl to be that fast... but she was, and that's a fact that can't be ignored. Perhaps Aislinn has been a little greedy, here... still, she flies past, twisting as she is dodged, in order to bring herself down for a three point landing, rather like a certain American superhero... Aislinn does not know how to shot web, however.
What she -does- know is that she can take a moment now, to gather herself... she's spent some energy, not without return, but despite being a cyborg she can't just go forever, like the Energizer bunny. Thanks to the metal decking, Hinako and Lykaio may feel the hair rise on their arms (well, maybe not Lykaio so much, being that he's all electrical too), as Aislinn draws in power, her stance settling as a red-white aura limns her body. Hinako's societal predicament is barely noticed, but if asked, Aislinn would simply reply: 'that's why I wear -pants-.'

Lykaio blinks, and stares frozen momentarily by a mixture of Hinako's scream and relative position, as well as his own stance on touching people. A brief smile tracing his lips at the momentary pleasures one finds in life. "...Such a pure white...."
...Which just makes it that much easier for him to be grabbed by the back of the head and slammed into the ground, where he lies for the moment, twitching. However, the final orb that's been following him swings back through the air and aims towards Hinako, seemingly attacking Hinako of it's own will as it attempts to get her away from his prone body.

And once more Hinako gets zapped, her knees wobbling for a moment as the electricity courses through her. It's still going to take a bit more than that to drop her, although by now there's a few wisps of smoke rising from her clothing. She shakes her head to clear it, then glances at her opponents. Lykaio is still down on the ground, so it looks like it's Aislinn's turn to get attacked again.
Although she charges at the other girl again, Hinako is a bit more cautious this time. Rather than a full on lunge, Hinako snaps out with a quick pair of palm strikes to the chest in an attempt to stagger Aislinn back. She then tries to hook a hand under Aislinn's arm, using the leverage to pull her off her feet and send her crashing down to the deck.

Aislinn's aura abruptly fades as she sees Hinako rushing at her. Briefly, she considers attempting another counterattack... but decides, at almost the very last moment, that prudence is the better part of valor, and that attempting to circumvent Hinako's attack with one of her own would cost her the hard-earned energy she just recovered. The two palm strikes are blocked by Aislinn's forearms; she's shoved just off-balance enough for Hinako to complete the throw, although Aislinn rolls and tumbles with the attack, minimizing the damage as best as she can... Hinako is surprisingly strong, however, and it still hurt quite a bit.
Since Hinako seems to be having problems with electricity, Aislinn decides, as she rises, to see just how much trouble Hinako has with it; as Aislinn regains her feet, she's pointing one rigidly-held hand at Hinako, fingers-first, and that red-white glow appears again, only brighter, suffusing that hand... then resolving into a blast of electrical energy that fires off through the air at Hinako, with a sizzling, crackling sound.
Lykaio looks over to see Hinako attacking Aislinn, and stands up suddenly, rushing over towards her as he grabs an orb from the air. However, by the time he reaches her side, his arm burning with electrical power... she's already blocked the attack. So he just stands there for a moment, blinking at the electrical attack, then looks back to watch Hinako's moves.

Hinako doesn't much care for energy blasts since she doesn't have any particularly effective method for dealing with them. There's the option of not getting hit... But Hinako often isn't fast enough for that. When she's already charging at Aislinn for another attack, though? Well, then she has some momentum to work with. Twisting herself to the side, Hinako manages to sidestep the electrical blast from Aislinn without losing too much of her momentum.
Which is good, because momentum is a great deal of help with many of Hinako's attacks. In this case, an attempt to crash right into Aislinn with a shoulder charge in order to break through her defenses. That's just to start, though...

And once Hinako's shoulder connects with Aislinn, she explodes with sumo fury. She does a pretty good approximation of a famous attack of Edmond Honda's as palm strike after palm strike lashes out at Aislinn, slowly driving the Silent Assassin backwards with blows all across the torso and face. Finally Hinako ducks low with a double handed strike to the stomach, after which she shifts her hands back to wrap around Aislinn's waist. The blonde sumo then stands up swiftly, yanking Aislinn up off the deck and sending her sailing up and over Hinako's shoulders.
Too fast... Aislinn thinks, briefly, about another counter... and it turns out she should have. Hinako's rush is powerful and it's like being caught in a cyclone; each hit is solid, powerful, staggering the NESTS cyborg, and when she finally lands, she lands with a crash and... somehow... she's dented the deck of the tanker. Despite that, she rises to her feet once more, though she's having trouble moving as well as she should... had her tactic worked she might've had plenty of opportunity to deliver her own powerful beating to Hinako.
As it is... she takes just a moment to re-center herself, to bring her senses back into her own head. It was quite the beating that was just administered to her, and Aislinn and Lykaio's position suddenly doesn't seem nearly as good as it did a few minutes ago. And then...
Then she's off, rushing Hinako down with more speed than should be possible for the beating she just took, lunging with her left hand spread out, aiming to grab Hinako by a shoulder...
Lykaio's eyes widen as he sees Hinako rush by, then further at the beating that Hinako is giving Aislinn, just standing by helplessly for a long moment. "Silent Goddess!" A cry of concern, not a command. Although, as he rushes in to land a kick at the Hinako's stomach, he realizes that the sumo girl is rather quiet as well.
His foot crackles with energy as he turns and lashes out with a side-kick, aiming it at Hinako's midsection. "I... haven't been paying enough attention! My apologies!" The latter presumably directed towards Aislinn.

Contact is made... and Aislinn is going too fast right now to even consider whether the hit is good or not. She's committed herself fully to this attack. Her push sends Hinako to a wall--much like Hinako's Yorigiri had intended--and then she's raining blows on the sumo girl, alternating left and right straight punches and body blows, a literal and veritable storm of blows that lasts for a few, long seconds... Aislinn's hands and arms are a blur of motion that ends only when one last punch sends her drifting backwards... only to lunge forward, with a final attack, both hands clasped together and aimed for Hinako's sternum... enough force to bounce Aislinn back out a few meters regardless.
Hinako holds her arms up in front of her, taped palms facing outward, as Aislinn crashes into her. The hand on her shoulder is high enough that her leg strength ends up being of little use, though, and she gets dragged backwards and slammed into the wall. Once there, though, she tucks herself down, minimizing the available surfaces for Aislinn to strike. Some of the blows manage to get through, but many of them are deflected by Hinako's powerful arms, including the final one. It's still enough for Aislinn to bounce off and give Lykaio an opening, though.
Or at least, it /seems/ like an opening. Hinako managed to weather Aislinn's assault well enough that she's ready to react when the kick comes in. She lunges at Lykaio, and by the time the kick connects with her she's only being hit with his upper leg, doing negligable damage. She lashes out with a strike to the jaw with one hand, then lowers that arm and uses both hands to shove hard on Lykaio's shoulders to send him staggering off balance and hopefully fall over backwards.
Aislinn knew almost immediately that her powerful strikes had not gotten through in the way she had wanted. Still, very few are those that can weather such blows without any harm... Aislinn's bounce back is taken as another couple of steps... and Aislinn feels very much as though she's expended a lot of energy, once again...
She elects, once more, not to attack... but rather to renew her intent and her focus. There have been little distractions other than the pain and injury she's suffered, but those can be more than enough, even for a fighter of greater experience than Ais... so all the much more for her. If she is to win this fight, with or without Lykaio, proper preparation will be all the more important.

Lykaio is struck with the various blows, attempting to move in defensive ways that are entirely too late. He is sent staggering off balance with the last one, and falls down to the ground. However, as he falls, he kicks off one of his shoes fiercely, aiming it at Hinako's head.

Hinako blinks in momentary surprise as the shoe flies at her, unable to come up with a proper response to this attack. It hurts a fair bit when it smacks her in the nose, though. "Ow!" Rubbing at her face for a moment, Hinako begins running at Lykaio once more. He should have plenty of time to get back to his feet, even if he is slightly lopsided now.
"I've got you now!" The tone of voice isn't menacing at all, though. Hinako enjoys this, and not in the sadistic sense. She likes fighting because it's fun, in a completely innocent way. Even if it can get a little rough sometimes. She generally assumes that other people feel the same way. At least, until they start slicing people open or shooting them or other unpleasant things. For her part, Hinako sticks to basics. Like putting one hand on Lykaio's waist and one on his shoulder to send him once more crashing to the deck.
It's time to forget the flashier moves; time to get down to business. Aislinn's hurting, but she's hurt before and the pain will pass, win or lose. Not to say that she intends to lose this one. Once again she finds her attack staggered after Hinako's... it's alright though, as she has never had any intention of intercepting anything that Hinako's thrown Lyk's way. Just not her style. Once again she comes rushing in, her dashing motion almost ninja-like in the way she leans forward during it.
However, as she closes, she pulls up, and her arms assume the high guard of Muay Thai... and her stance changes towards the Thai kickboxing style further, as Aislinn snaps her right foot out in a series of kicks aimed for Hinako's shin and knee, one, two, three kicks in all.

Lykaio indeed stands back up - albeit in a rather wobbly manner, grabbing one orb from the air with each hand, so both his hands shine with electricity. He smiles at Hinako's cheerful fighting shout, and as she gets too close to comfort, he holds the first hand out, squeezing the orb so that a wash of energy once again keeps Hinako from him... although this time, he absorbs some of it as well.
He inclines his head to Hinako slightly, grinning. "Young Heroine in White... you are ten times more impressive than I had originally thought." And then a very bright flash of light as he runs around to get behind Hinako as Aislinn begins her first kick... Seemingly vanishing and reappearing, to those with normal eyesight. He raises his fist, then begins a series of strong but untrained punches at her back with both hands, before finally ending with a blast of energy from the palm of his hand.

Hinako blinks in confusion for a moment at the name by which Lykaio refers to her, missing the joke. She takes the compliment at face value however. "Well, thank y-" And then he's gone, and Aislinn is right there. Defending her legs isn't something that Hinako often does; they're usually they're own protection. She tries to crouch slightly to avoid taking the blow from Aislinn directly on the shin, but it is not to be. Still, her legs are one of the strongest parts of Hinako's body, so a blow there is unlikely to slow her down for long, even if she is starting to stagger.
She doesn't even /see/ Lykaio's attack coming from behind her. It's sheer luck that just at that moment she leaps toward Aislinn, attempting to catch the cyborg in the neck with her arm. Whether she succeeds or not it manages to bring her out of Lykaio's range for the moment. If she does succeed, she follows up by hooking the limb around Aislinn's neck for a firmer grip...

And once Hinako's arm is hooked around Aislinn's neck, she yanks the girl from NESTS off her feet. A quick spinning motion brings Hinako around in a full circle, and then Aislinn is launched like a missile across the deck of the ship to land where she may.
Ouch. Aislinn doesn't deal well with this sumo-girl's attacks, and despite her intent focus... she attempts to counter Hinako's hooking arm, but to no avail; and suddenly she's spun and thrown before she can even think about it. When she lands, she lands hard and, unceremoniously, passes out for a bit. She's out of the fight and in the shadows... so she'll just have to get home by herself.
"...Silent Goddess!"
Lykaio looks back from Aislinn's fallen body, hair crackling in the wind. He raises his hand up to chest level, grasping the orb in the palm of his hand, and smiles confidently. "You were the first person to dodge that attack, you know...." He pushes the orb towards the sumo girl suddenly.

Hinako blinks for a moment as Lykaio speaks to her. "Attack?" Apparently she really /didn't/ notice it, in all her concentration on attacking Aislinn. Well, she certainly notices /this/ one. But the petite sumo is running on an adrenaline surge right now. This is her best performance in quite some time, and the damage her body has taken only serves to push her even further. She's probably going to give out any moment, but until then? She's going to show the world what sumo is all about.
Scrambling to one side, Hinako comes at Lykaio in a wide arc in order to avoid the electric blast. She ducks down low as she runs, leaping at the Greek at stomach height and attempting to snare him with one arm. If she can do that she'll run a few paces further, then shove forward with that arm to send him sprawling.

The orb floats back in front of Lykaio as she runs in a wide arc, at a somewhat quicker pace. They reach at almost the same time, and he smashes it between his hands, driving back Hinako for the third time. He frowns, glancing around at the empty air around him as the ambient energy sinks into him. "...Guess I have to rely on just my fists, now?" Still the easy confidence in his voice as he look back to her.
He rushes towards her yet again, and sidesteps at the last moment, punching at her shoulder from one side.

Hinako watches Lykaio carefully as he rushes at her, and charges out to meet him once he's about halfway. "You should always be able to rely on your own body!" Of course, Hinako would hold that opinion, what with her total lack of any visible uses of chi. There's gotta be something going on for a girl her size to be this strong, though.
When Lykaio lashes out with his punch Hinako actually shoves out with her shoulder to meet it, letting him hit her with his wrist rather than his fist. There's a tingle of electricity from the glancing blow, but Hinako is too fired up to feel it. She gets one hand up under one of his shoulders, the other on top of the opposite shoulder, then uses principles of leverage to once more send the god down into the unforgiving steel of the ship's deck.
Lykaio blinks as he's slammed into the ground, and is dazed for a moment. He stares up at Hinako, then raises a single hand towards her, palm extended. "I've... never needed to, before coming here... but, Divine Power is not useless, either...." And with that, he releases a large arc of electricity from his hand.

No fancy tricks here. When Hinako sees Lykaio's hand come up and the electricity begin to spark she turns tail and runs, leaping as hard as she can after several paces, since she's no idea just how large an area is going to get affected. After a few moments she lifts her head, then climbs to her feet. It looks like Lykaio isn't going to be getting back up. She... won? She won!
Hinako wobbles a bit, then turns to look at the cameras that are focusing on her. She blinks, then quickly tries to smooth down the hair that's been frizzed up by all the electricity in the air. "Th-that's right folks! Behold the power of sumo!" She smiles for the camera, but her words a bit offset by the way she wobbles as she starts to walk off. She definitely needs to go lie down for a while now.
