We'll be trying to put together some SNF matches for this weekend. You have today and tomorrow to sign up, and then I'll post matches. Should be a good lead-in for some other events, so come one, come all! :D

SNF Procedure Update - Fri Jan 19 2007 - Geese
----------------------
Since there's some confusion, and there've been some changes... for now SNF will run from Friday night at 11 until Monday night at midnight. As long as your fight starts by then, it's fine. Signups will be cleared once the matches are posted, for next week. Matches should still be autologged, and submitted via +log/submit as per normal.

KAIN HEINLEIN and CAMMY WHITE vs. GEESE HOWARD and MR. BIG
Premise: Contenders vs. Coordinators.
Location: Howard Arena, Southtown.
Both fights will be using the Cooperative Chaos special measures. I'll be @mailing the participants with details shortly.

SNF Results Week 20 or so - Tue Jan 23 2007 - Geese

Match #1 : Winners: ZANGIEF and HINAKO
Snapshots: A picture of a rather shocked looking Hinako standing her ground against a rather close-range spray of buckshot courtesy of the be-shotgunned Talia. A photo of Megumi toppling the giant Russian to the ground as he charges her. Then..... A picture of Zangief facing off against Megumi, the wide angle providing a crisp shot of Talia levelling a pistol on his back and firing, an almost quizzical expression on the big Russian in lead-up to RAGE... as evidenced by the rest of the photo series, which is mostly the Red Cyclone going postal on Talia and Megumi, executing numerous fierce strikes and slams, even a last-ditch bodyslam, despite looking rather exhausted and bloody.
Comments: Uh, yea. Note: NEVER PISS OFF ZANGIEF.
Match #2 : Winners: KAIN and CAMMY
Snapshots: A close-up shot of Kain and Cammy in on Mr. Big, Cammy's fist trailing Psycho Power as Kain delivers a flaming snap kick right to Big's chest. Things definitely don't look good for the Coordinator team from early on, but there's a series of photos where Geese rolls aside from an absolutely massive column of chi Kain had directed at him, and subsequently hurls Kain into the crater he created. Of course, this montage culminates with a battered, slightly smoking Howard facing off against Kain, as Cammy creams him in the flank, a brilliant blast of energy knocking Geese skyward, and out of the fight.
Comments: Kain and Cammy come through with flying colours. Rumours are that Mr. Big drank way too much before this fight.
Signups are cleared, next week's SNF will similarly run from Friday night till Monday night.

Rules Addendum - Tue Jan 23 2007 - Geese

I want to stress that if you sign up for SNF, first priority when the matches are announced is to @mail or page your partners, and discuss availability. Tried a new policy this week that worked out pretty well, so it'll be official from here on out: Any fighter that hasn't discussed availability, or has missed a scheduled fight without notice before or after, may be replaced as of Sunday if an alternate fighter is available. It's hoped that this way we'll avoid 'did not happen' events, but there's no guarantee there'll be appropriate replacements, so if you sign up for SNF please try to have a few hours free at least a couple days in the timeframe.
