Description: Girls come out on top in this handicap battle! (Winners: Aislinn and Mimiru)
The younger Kasagi had improved a lot since she had started her training. Her control over her chi manifestation had become all the better, and every now and then, she enjoyed toying with small flickers of flame, if only because she's proud of how she can easily handle it now! She still has to harness bigger amouth of energy at a time, but for small little flames in her palm, she can make them last long enough with a minimum of concentration and relatively long periods of time before it goes out of control and fade away.
When she had seen about who she was facing, Mimiru believed in fate. Her first ordeal, this must be it, she's going to be facing one of her ancient enemies, one she hadn't seen in such a long time. She remembers her old teacher's saying, 'fight when the time is right', well lack of having thought her how to become stronger and more apt in her art, Mimiru at least kept that much from her. And she feels like she's ready to face him! This time, she'll be victorious. Never mind the other person fighting by her side, Mimiru has stuff to prove to herself, and she'll come victorious against him.
And for this great event, Mimiru brought along her faithful canine companion, Max. She had begun her quest with him, after all... And Himeko's here with her as well, to support her and help her vanquish this evil Orochi. And for the occassion, she's probably wearing something special. Depending on whatever Himeko might have thought about.
Evil Orochi? Whatever. Aislinn doesn't know whether Kensou is an evil Orochi or not; she's just here to do her fight. In fact, she's got something else on her mind, something more important to her... something she's not willing to talk about with anyone here. She's already showed up--early for once, standing within the marked out arena... arms crossed in front of her, she has her eyes closed, as if she were meditating. She's paired with Mimiru... the SNF officials must have some sick sense of humor. Aislinn could not be any more different... a model of efficiency and brutality, no heroism involved...
Admittedly, that isn't the only reason why the small Himeko is about, which is obvious due to the orange 'Taiyo Press' armband that's about her arm, and a camera slung about her neck. She of course remembers Kensou being on the 'list', and to be honest she feels a little bad for the chinese boy, he'd been harassed a lot in the past!
"Do your best, Mimi-chan, this is already a great article involving Gedo and Taiyo teaming up for a single goal: Victory!" giving a small smile she v-signs to her best friend, and gives a small nod to Aislinn, "Please do your best." and with that said she whistles for Max to join her, so they can both get out of the fray, and she raises her camera, adjusting the lens to get a shot of the two fighters.
Always with the crazy girls, isn't it? Kensou doesn't particularly want to face off with Mimiru again - sooner or later, even a great prodigy like himself is going to seriously hurt her, completely by accident - but he's got to deal with the bouts he's scheduled, right? That's what he keeps telling himself anyway, because come on... Mimiru.
Anyway, the Psycho Soldier makes his entrance, looking vaguely embarassed to be there at all. Especially in front of the Chinatown crowd, since basically everyone in that part of the city knows him. This is his hometown crowd, kind of, and he's not sure what would be worse: To lose in front of them, or to win! "Geez," he mutters, rubbing the back of his neck as he looks around, at Aislinn standing there all seriously, and Mimiru probably busily being Mimiru. "Well... Let's get this over with, huh?" the older teen says, slipping easily into his fighting stance, facing the girls sidelong and leading with his left fist, held loosely up in front of him while his right fist is held at his side. "Show me what'cha got!"

"Oh really?" Mimiru asks, blinking a few times as she stares at Himeko. She must have been dozing off a little when she was briefing her on who she'd be fighting, with whom and everything. Mimiru lifts her hand up and she scratches the back of her head, letting a soft nervous chuckle escape her throat. "Right, I'll do my best! You can count on me," Mimiru says, lifting her hand up to give Himeko a thumbs up.
Mimiru then glances over to Aislinn for a moment and she snorts, "Yeah... Talk about a teammate," She says. The girl heaves a sigh and shakes her head, before she lifts her gaze up. Well Kensou's there, so she'll take care of him by herself! She doesn't need any teammate for this, it's written in the stars somewhere! Or something, "Yeah, that's right! Now's finally the time and I won't fail this time! I don't need no partner to take care of you, just watch me! I've improved a lot, you won't recognize me, just check this out, the power of the Moon Tiara!" And with that, Mimiru gets into her combat stance and she narrows her eyes, perhaps showing off a little though as she concentrates and lets the chi manifest in her hand, letting the white flame swirls out around her palm and engulfs it. It's the power of priestess who defeats evil Orochis! "In the end, I shall be the victor..."

So... Mimiru -doesn't- need any help to take down Kensou? I guess we'll see. Aislinn stirs for the first time, having of course heard all the posturing and such... Himeko just gets a little half-glare, the kind of look that says 'don't talk to me or I'll feed you that camera'. True Gedo style there. Then she looks at Kensou, across the way... and back to Mimiru. So. Don't need help, huh? Aislinn... remains in her corner. "Very well then, Mimiru. If you don't need my help then go and take him." And she very deliberately leans back...

So, any cool points Kensou was trying to score by being serious and getting straight down to business are handily ruined by Mimiru. He sighs heavily at her, shaking his head slowly and then facepalming. Why? Why does this always happen to him? Letting out a brief huff of air, he turns to the nearest SNF official and gives them such a glare, but of course... They're just doing their job, right?
With Aislinn moving off to the side, the Psycho Soldier frowns a little, muttering to himself. But he's not just going to stand there while Mimiru does whatever she wants, because this is supposed to be a /fight/. Instead, Kensou rushes forward at the girl, running full out until he gets close enough to leap forward at her, his left elbow and knee extended, his right hand bracing his left. "Yo-!!" If that hits the girl, he twists at the waist to smash his other knee into her midsection! "Yaa-!!" And then, he'll keep right on twisting around, extending his left leg for a wide roundhouse, to smash his heel into the side of her head. "Uryaa-!!"

"Yeah, just leave it to me!" Mimiru says. Pretty cocky, isn't she? Well she's certainly more confident about herself now that's for sure. It had been so long, and since she's noticed her own improvement, she's just even more confident about her abilities and is pretty sure she'll be able to show off Kensou what she's made off. After all, when was the last time they fought? Half a year? Mimiru improved plenty in all of this time! At least, she hopes...
Mimiru was ready for Kensou, and once he's lunged at her, she takes a step back to avoid the knee shot, pulling her right fist behind her head, "Take that!" She shouts, the flame flaring all the more brightly as she hurls her fist straight for Kensou's midsection. As it comes close, the chi bursts into Kensou's midsection, letting the force of the energy do the work and hurt him instead of her actual fist.

Himeko lowers her camera a bit to stare at Mimiru, and gives a light shake of her head, ".. But that's not the point of the match," she whispers once Mimiru starts to get overzealous again. It would be great of course if Mimiru did manage to win on her own, but it wouldn't be fair to Aislinn who.... Is giving her a rather nasty look.
She quickly looks away, her face turning red as a beet as she scuffles a shoe along the floor and grips her camera more nervously. Suddenly, suddenly that ant on the ground was looking a lot more interesting.

Seriously now. If Mimiru really really wants to solo Kensou all she has to do is ask. Really. Aislinn watches the proceedings with mild interest... in fact... well. Hmm. Aislinn straightens up, a little, and calls out, "Very well, Mimiru. He's all yours!" Meaning... she's not going to get involved, not unless Kensou comes after her directly. Let's see if Mimiru is as skilled as her bravado suggests...
"Tch," mutters Kensou, as Mimiru avoids his attack. That's a little vexing, but... This is no time to get frustrated, Kensou! As he's landing from his missed attack, he tries to get out of the way of the 'Super Mimiru Punch', but there's just not enough time. Instead, he gets totally blasted with that chi attack... Well, kind of. He gets hit, and it stings, sure, but mostly he just frowns at Mimiru. "What, seriously?" Kensou asks. He should know, he's been hit by that before... But he figured it was just a fluke, last time. And then, quite suddenly, his fist lashes out at her face, in a speedy punch. "Ha-!!"

Looks like Mimiru totally forgot what was the objective of the match! But then again, she's able to take Kensou on her own no problem! At least she thinks so... Never mind all of the time where he actually defeated her. "Seriously!" Mimiru says with a grunt as she lifts her other arm to block the incoming fist, brushing it away to the side so it doesn't hit her face. She winces a bit from the impact against her forearm, but she quickly attempts to retaliate, wanting to show Kensou just how much stronger she has become.
Mimiru attempts to get a hold of Kensou's arm since it's just by the side of her head and, with a little bit of luck, she'll be able to pull on it just as she presses her back against Kensou and thrown him off over her head and away some distance. Of course, doing so also means that the flame that was burning in her fist faded away, since the manuever takes more of her focus than her concentration would allow her to.

Yes, Kensou is grabbed pretty easily. And sure, Mimiru does manage to shoulder throw him, except... The Psycho Soldier lands pretty easily on his feet, glancing briefly back over his shoulder at the crazy, crazy girl who's so often tried to defeat him because of whatever bizarre thing she keeps going on about. O-somethings. Anyway, the /point is/, that Kensou twists around on one leg slightly, without even turning around, and lashes out with his other foot at Mimiru's jaw. "Yaa-!!"

For some reasons, Mimiru has the power of resolve on her side! She feels all that much stronger and she manages to keep up with Kensou fairly well, not leaving him a chance to land a clear hit on her. The little girl quickly ducks under Kensou's leg and from her knelt position, she lunges at Kensou, attempting to give him a rather hard shoulder tackle to shove him away a little, "I'm not the same as before, you'll see! I'll teach you the power of Super Mimiru!"

By this point, Kensou isn't sure if he should be glad that he's only fighting one opponent, or not. He's pretty sure he could take somebody else of around Mimiru's level too... Is he being underestimated or something? Or maybe he's the one doing the underestimating, considering how Mimiru avoids his kick. "Crap," he says, as he sees her duck low and come up for a shoulder tackle. What's a psion to do?
Well, actually, he uses his other foot to shove himself out of the way, staying just ahead of Mimiru's attack, catching himself shortly thereafter, hands rising up in front of his face as he does so. He skids on his feet a little, backwards, away from her, energy gathering... And then he sweeps his hands out, hopefully before she can recover from her attack, launching a crackling sphere of blue-tinged white Psycho Power at her! "Choukyuudan!!"

So far so good, but Kensou seems to decide to show her just what he's made off... And that's just a bit too much of awesomeness for Mimiru, alas. Mimiru's eyes widen a bit as the blue ball is hurled straight in her direction and she attempts to move out of the way, but in her current position, that's hardly possible, alas!
And so, the ball of energy slams her right in her midsection and the shock knocks out the wind of Mimiru's throat and she's sent flying off a couple of feet, landing down with a groan. She squirms a little on the ground and she forces herself back to her feet. No matter how badly that hurt, she has to stand firm and not let it get to her! She'll get back to Kensou despite this, "I'm not over with yet..." She says, clenching her teeth. It hurts so much that she can't even focus enough to bring the flame in her hand... She'll have to go without it, it seems.
And so, Mimiru, once she's back on her feet, tries to rush toward Kensou to punch him in the face.

See, by this point Kensou just feels like a bully. This isn't supposed to be some sort of endurance match, it's supposed to be a handicap. "What's wrong with you two?" Kensou says aloud, and in this he means Aislinn too, obviously. Mimiru's punch is, it seems, way too slow; Kensou easily catches her fist and uses it to shove her off-balance, before he twists around and crouches slightly, his right fist glowing with that blue-tinged white Psycho Power. "You're supposed to be working together!!" the older teen shouts, as he aims an uppercut at poor Mimiru, to strike her with his fist and that weird energy both at once.

Himeko, on her end of the spectrum is a bit frustrated herself.. Her article after all was supposed to be on the two teaming up! Of course, Mimiru isn't completely innocent of the conflict itself, it would seem that neither fighter would as one another for help even if they really needed it. All she could do was sigh a bit, she at least was getting a few nice pictures so far.
At least, Mimiru didn't lose her reflexes after she was smacked rather hard by that ball of psycho energy, "I'll be fine on my own! I was meant to defeat you, and I'll do it!" Mimiru says with a snort. Her punch might have failed her, but Mimiru quickly shifts back into her defensive stance to avoid the rising uppercut that comes from the psycho soldier. "She can do what she wants, but I'll be fine on my own, you'll see!"
Since the pain went away a little, Mimiru growls and manages to concentrate enough to manifest her chi in her left leg, and as she rises back up from her ducking, she attempts to perform a somersault and smack Kensou with both of her legs, one that leaves a trail of white chi behind and the other that's just a plain old kick. Mimiru'll then fall on her hands and flip back to her feet.

Well, Kensou has to admit... Mimiru does have a lot of natural speed. Can't fault her for that. He's still recovering from his punch when Mimiru attacks him with that somersault kick, and he... Steps right into it? He doesn't even let the poor girl finish her somersault, her kick hitting him early and doing less damage than it should, while his own hand taps against her midsection and he unleashes another blast of Psycho Power, this one to send her hurtling away... Towards where Aislinn has been lurking.
"Stop being stupid," Kensou says, frowning. "There's a reason why people team up, and why people are stronger when they work together! Deciding you don't have to depend on other people when you do isn't being strong, it's being an idiot!" And Kensou knows all about being an idiot, so trust him. "But if you two aren't going to work together, then you're not worth my time."
Casually, Aislinn reaches out and stops Mimiru with a pair of hands to the shoulders. Though she's not much taller than the girl, if at all, she seems to have no problem setting her down. And she turns to address Kensou, her voice even, emotionless.
"She believes she can defeat you by herself. She says she doesn't need my help or anyone else's. Why should she not have a chance to prove herself?" Aislinn really could care less--recent events are more important to her than this particular SNF... but Kensou did ask.

Unfortunately, Mimiru doesn't make quite a swift landing on that one. Thanks to Aislinn though, she doesn't actually fall to the ground but she's caught by her 'supposed to be partner'. Mimiru grunts a little and she clenches her midsection with one arm, glancing over her shoulder at Aislinn. She's not too sure what to make of what's going on. It's obvious that she's having a hard time, but then again, she doesn't want to admit to needing help either. Because in a way, it'd feel like acknowledging to her own weakness... And she thought she could have taken care of him on her own, yet, she more or less just got beaten up pretty good.
She grunts a bit and pushes herself away from Aislinn, "Damn it..." She mutters under her breath, "This is different..." She says with a snort. One more try just one... She might have just enough energy for that anyway, and at this point, even if Aislinn decided to come in, she doubts she could be of much help. "It's not a matter of depending on her, I may not be strong, but... But I'll do it! Damn it, I've worked so hard, it's not just to achieve so little results!"
Whatever Aislinn decides to do, Mimiru'll keep on smacking Kensou. Or at least she'll try, since she has had no luck so far on it. She dashes toward him and kneels slightly once she's close enough, leaping up to give him a first uppercut, spinning on herself, and once she falls down on a half spin, she spins around and gives him another uppercut, and the third and last one comes with a burst of chi underneath her feet to make her leap all the higher up and flames flare up from her fist to drag Kensou along with the trail of flame, "Kyaaaa!"

The funny thing is, Kensou totally knows where Mimiru is coming from. He understands what it's like, to put in so much effort only to seemingly get nothing back in return. ...Well, so much effort for him, he IS pretty lazy most of the time. It's all a matter of perspective though, now isn't it? At Aislinn's words, Kensou sighs a little, but then there's a Mimiru trying to super combo him. However, every hit of her combo just hits his guard, and he's definitely not dragged up along with Mimiru at all. He just waits for her to come back down, intent on catching her before she can land with a straight-legged kick, which just might take her right out of the fight.

Ash heads north to the Southtown Village.
At least, Mimiru manages to block the incoming kick with her forearm. She winces at the impact of the kick and groans a bit in pain. She narrows her eyes and lets a shout escape her throat, intending to give all she has not to fail this one now! She lunges on Kensou and attempts to counter his kick with one of her own, a roundhouse kick straight for Kensou's side, empowered by the white chi flames that swirls around of her foot.
Mmmph. Well... Aislinn's here, and Mimiru's here, and Kensou's here, and this -is- SNF... Mimiru's been going solo long enough. She knows that Mimiru doesn't want her help, but she's going to give it anyways; she lopes around in a long arc, aiming to arrive at Kensou just after Mimiru's kick. Like Mimiru's flying foot, Aislinn's is sheathed in energy. Unlike Mimiru's, it's a red-white electricity that crackles along the striking surface of her boot, as it is snapped towards Kensou's head.

See, now they're getting it: Teamwork! Attack him at the same time! Stuff like that. Kensou is now, of course, just going to take it lying down and let them do what they want just because they happened to have learned a Valuable Lesson, though. If they even DID learn anything from his speech. With both Mimiru and Aislinn trying to attack him at once, Kensou doesn't have /too/ many options here... But as Mimiru tries to roundhouse him, the Psycho Soldier leaps over her kick, closing with the oncoming Aislinn. Her kick /does/ connect, a little, but it's mitigated by his hand lashing out, open-palm, at her midsection and unleashing a blast of Psycho Power to send her flying away. "Hehehe, better!"
Better? That didn't seem much better at all. Mimiru totally fails to even touch Kensou, once again, and he manages to avoid her attack fairly well. So much work for nothing. Mimiru grunts in annoyance and she glares at him, letting a bit of frustration get a hold of her. Her powerlessness to all of this. She thinks about about what she's been training for all along and it just makes all the more sense now, just shows all the more that she's been right all along. She'll have to try even harder. Mimiru was proud of her progress, but obviously, it's s a little achievement.
With a growl, she lunges foward, chi flaring out of her fist as she attempts to smack Kensou in the midsection with her chi powered fist. If everything else fails, she'll have to try with what she can do best again and again.
Oof. Well, that hurt... and the pain serves to help wake Aislinn out of her little daze. In fact... that hurt a lot; she goes flying, crashing into a nearby table... but she's picking herself up soon after, and without a second thought, she's running full-out, rearing back with her left hand and hurling a hard, overhand punch as she nears. Once again, she's coming in from a different angle than Mimiru, so as not to interfere with her erstwhile teammate's attack.

This time, Kensou doesn't even /try/ to avoid the Super Mimiru Punch, just letting the energy hit him; he staggers back a little, but he immediately lunges forward, right at Mimiru, trying to punch her in the solar plexus. For all his talk of teamwork, well, if he actually wants to be able to /win/ this match, then he's better off only facing one of the girls at once. Whether or not he succeeds in the attack though, he's too commited to it to notice Aislinn coming at him until it's too late... And he doesn't manage to get out of the way before he gets punched in the head. Ow!

Mimiru lifts her right arm up to block the incoming fist, pushing it away from her. She grunts a bit and narrows her eyes, kneeling slightly and letting the chi manifest and flares up on her right leg as she spins around and attempts to retaliate with a rather nasty flaming kick right for Kensou's midsection, "Kyaaa!!" She shouts.
Aislinn feels her fist make contact and it is a gratifying feeling. However... Mimiru will have to continue the fight solo for a moment; Aislinn backsteps about three steps, taking some room while Mimiru keeps charging at Kensou. Aislinn has a different sort of charging in mind; like flipping a switch, she begins pulling energy in, power suffusing her body invisibly, tightening her muscles, filling her up. Her fingers flex, then clench into fists, her arms brought up in a boxer's guard.

It seems like, perhaps, Kensou's awesome defense for most of the match might be finally breaking down; his arms come up to block the kick, but not quite fast enough, and Mimiru tags him more solidly than she has the whole fight! "Geh!" exclaims the Psycho Soldier, who actually staggers a little. "See? Now you're gettin' the hang of it," he says, and then he takes a huge swing at Mimiru, trying to catch the girl with an overhand fist. If he lands it, then he follows it up with a succession of further such punches, ending it by clasping his hands together in an axe-handle, and swinging them up at her jaw. "Yaa-!!"

Alas, Mimiru isn't going to go down that easily. Even if this is already a defeat in her mind, she'll at least do all she has to to bring down Kensou now, even if she knows that any hit may prove to be the end of Mimiru. The girl staggers back, using her fancyfootstep play to avoid Kensou's attempt to give her a huge swing. The second she sees an opening, good or not, Mimiru lunges at Kensou and attempts to take it, chi flaring out of her feet to give her a boost as she leaps on Kensou and attempts to give him a quick rising uppercut, "Take that!"
Lately, opponents haven't been trying to disrupt her energy-gathering attempts; this used to be much more common. With Kensou being a speedy character, Aislinn is wary of using her slower attacks. Aislinn waits just a moment, until Kensou's mid-attack, then lunges forward, arms crossed over her shoulders; as she nears, a moment of concentration happens, and hissing, foot and a half-long 'blades' of red-white electric energy spring from her fists. As she nears, she slashes outwards, then back inwards, as she skids to a halt.

Slipping back out of the way of Mimiru's attack, just barely, Kensou breathes out a quick, relieved sound... At least, until Aislinn is on top of him again too, with some kind of crazy energy blades. He twists to get partially out of the way, letting them slash his upraised arm instead of his rather more vital torso, all the while collecting Psycho Power. With both girls so close, it's a relatively easy matter to move so that he can catch them both with one attack... This attack would be what happens when he holds both hands out in front of him, palms open, and unleashes a huge spherical blast of almost pure white Psycho Power, trying to trap both Mimiru and Aislinn with it. Plainly, he wants to finish this in kind of a big way! "HAAAAAAAAA--!!"

That was a little useless... All of her attacks seem to be so easily shrugged off and avoided, what's wrong with her fighting style? She's doing her best, yet it just doesn't do a thing. Even now, she tries to move away from the surge of psycho power but it's not quite enough. She growls and screams in pain, squirming a little. Looks like that's more than enough to take all of Mimiru's remaining strength, still, before she goes out with a light, she tries to give Kensou just one more strike.
She lunges on Kensou and tries to give him a series of super mimiru punches and kicks, using all of her remaining energy to smack him until she's out of juice and collapses.

Wow. Just--wow. It's rare that Aislinn has had to deal with a powerstorm of energy like that... though she has. Aislinn is just blown away by the blast, tossed several yards away and landing on her stomach. She raises her head just in time to see Mimiru come in wiht her final attack... and while Kensou is dealing with that, Aislinn intends to prepare herself for these final few moments. Goddamn Psi... hurts so much... but Aislinn's got to shake that off...

This time though, Kensou clearly doesn't feel like standing up to Mimiru's attack, and besides which... It's much slower this time compared to the first time he faced it. He dodges easily out of the way, cartwheeling to one side, which leaves him facing off with Aislinn, who's still on the ground. "Hope there's no hard feelin's, but I wasn't about t' not take you girls seriously," he says, looking a little worn out as he tugs his gloves tighter. But if she's going to be shaking off the effects of his blast, he'll catch his breath a little. Whew!

Clearly it would be more annoying to Aislinn if Kensou -didn't- take her seriously. With Kensou taking a moment to catch his breath... Aislinn should take the initiative. And she will--but she's not going to come in on Kensou so quickly. Rather... her eyes dart back and forth... and she finds nothing special she can use. Fine, she'll have to use something she brought along. Reaching into her jacket, she produces a small metal ball, which is pitched underhand, aimed for Kensou's head. It probably won't hit, but she wants to make him move...

Nobody likes to have things thrown at them... Especially metal balls. Even if they are thrown underhanded. Kensou brings his hands up in front of his face in response, forcing energy to gather quickly, forcing it to coalesce, creating a sphere of blue-tinged white Psycho Power as he sweeps his arms out with another cry of: "Choukyuudan!!" The sphere launches forward, annihilating the metal ball as it goes, and continues... Right towards Aislinn!

Hunh. Well, Aislinn might have expected that... in fact, she had planned on it. Her strategy had been to just block the projectile... but the energy sinks into her and sends her stumbling backwards... hurt again, and bad... but not -out-. Her stumble slows, and she rights herself... and she straightens. She'll make Kensou work for his win, steadying herself and looking for focus once more.

Indeed, Kensou's Psycho Power is nothing to be underestimated! He watches Aislinn stumble, and he considers what to do next... Even now he doesn't want to underestimate her, or to get cocky and generally overconfident just because victory might be in his grasp. He does the overconfident thing enough, you know? He rushes at the girl now, eyes narrowing intently, and then he throws himself forward, catching his weight on one hand and pushing up, using that as a point of leverage from which to lash out at her in a pair of kicks to the jaw, his legs pistoning. "Yo-! Yaa-!!"

Aislinn may yet go down. But she's not going down without a fight. Kensou comes in, drops, and launches those pistoning legs--and they're met with Aislinn's forearms. But she's not just blocking the attacks; she's redirecting them, pushing Kensou's legs aside. Lightning-fast, her hands reach down, grabbing Kensou by the shirt near the collar, and she hauls him upwards, back to his feet. But it isn't friendly, oh no; she keeps hold of his shirt, and suddenly, her forehead is bashing into his face. Once, twice... three times she headbutts him, with as much savage, explosive, precise power as she can; a combination of a shove and release sends Kensou stumbling back for the last bit of the combination, Aislinn stepping towards him, snapping her right knee up into his stomach then finishing off with a side snap-kick into the abdominal area. It's possible it could be over.. it's possible it could not be. But that... that was satisfying.
Uh oh, thinks Kensou, which is about when he gets kinda rocked by Aislinn's powerful counter attack. He's bettered and headbutted and kicked pretty hard, which sends him staggering away from her, and he knows... He's pretty much out of juice. He's not gonna be able to keep going any longer... In fact, he's probably got about one good hit left in him. Which would be why he rushes forward at Aislinn, his reactions dulled by the weakness spreading through his body, and tries to punch her right in the gut. If he manages that, then he launches into a combination of punches, before finishing it off by twisting, and smashing the back of his shoulder into Aislinn in a body check finale! At which point, he's gonna sit the hell down, hit or miss.

It seems that Aislinn only really came alive in the last few moments of the fight. She'd gotten a couple hits in, but Kensou? He hits damn hard. Harder than Alma, for sure, who, along with Nanako, comprises the only psi fighters that Aislinn has fought. Not that she can categorize Kensou that easily. The rushing gut punch is met not by Aislinn's stomach, but her right knee, swung up in a manner identical to just a moment before--and she's kicking Kensou away in the same manner. Hopefully he won't get up this time... Aislinn is damn tired.
Hitting the ground, Kensou /does/ manage to sit up at least, laughing. "See? That was /way/ better than the other way," he says, before grimacing a little. Yeah, he kinda hurts after all of that. It's not like either of them were the hardest hitters he ever fought, but bruises are still bruises. "Good win," the Psycho Soldier adds. And he's gonna sit here for a bit. It's comfortable.
Aislinn lowers her leg, then looks at Kensou briefly. And nods. "It was a good fight," she echoes. Unlike Kensou, she's not just going to sit; she walks out the arena even as the win is being announced. This fight is done and she needs to get... back to the Appalachians. There's stuff she has to attend to.
