The Saturday Night Fight scene! Gabriel hadn't been here since. . . since. . Well to be exactly she could check her little black book of Gabriel events, but rather then do that, she'd much rather just get on with what she is here for, that is assessing other warriors, gaining information so that she can later steal their moves. Only problem is, who pitted her against Mimiru? This was just not going to work, she already knew all of Mimiru's moves and if that wasn't bad enough, Mimiru in turn knew hers pretty well and good. Furthermore, she was already in the process of taking moves from the Kasagi. Then there was Takuma. Who wanted to steal moves from the rip off style Kyokugen anyway? Therefore all she had to look forward to was the mysterious Chizuru. But not to be rude, or show her disapointment, Gabriel is there early. Stretching, getting ready and yes, wearing silk. Has this girl no regard for the fine clothes what she owns? Apparently. . . Not.
Ah, Saturday Night Fights. Takuma missed the last one, he was training with some bears, ala Zangief... and drinking with them too. It's true, he has pictures! In any case. Here he is... with some unknown as his partner. As he arrives, he gives her the once-over... ah, if only he knew what she was thinking. He'd be so quick to correct her he'd probably have to fight Chizuru and Mimiru solo. Kyokugenryuu is NO ripoff. It is the original and the ultimate. Chizuru he's heard of; she earns a nod. And Mimiru...
Well she tagged him in the butt a few weeks ago. He hasn't forgotten yet.
The shrine is, for once, very much alive.
Camera crews and SNF members mill about in the light of the moon, setting up the courtyard of the otherwise dilapidated and abandoned shrine, preparing it for the fight that is to be happening in just a short bit of time--the main even of the Saturday Night Fights!
This, of course, makes miss Kagura a touch uneasy. Still, for however nervous she may be for her third public fight, she appears really calm and collected outwardly, even smiling lightly to herself as she ascends the many stone steps. Once she reaches the top, dark eyes peer around, thoughtful as she eyes her surrounding. Her opponents are new to her, fighters she is relatively unfamiliar with. This could be exciting!
Stepping into the courtyard, she offers a soft nod to both of her opponents, fair features a touch concerned thereafter as her eyes wander, looking for her partner. Just where on earth is Mimiru? She's not going to leave Chizuru high and dry, is she?
It takes a while, but Mimiru finally arrives! Thanks to Himeko, the girl's been a little late to her match, she's running and having a go not to miss her fight! Why did Himeko hold her off? Well to design her new outfit especially made for this fight! She had to have something thematic after all.
And so, clad in a priestess outfit that's made out of red dress tied up behind her back with a red ribbon, the rest being a snow white loose shirt, Mimiru arrives! A bit late, panting and sweating a bit, with her little stick to chase away spirits.
"Ah... Ah..." She pants, glancing up over to Chizuru, a faint flush on her cheeks, "Sorry sensei..." She says, bitting her lips and stickings her tongue out a bit, "Better late than never I guess...?"
Eyes stir, glancing toward the blur of white and red that break the steps nearby, the tiny little girl making her entrance. Blinking at her attire, Chizuru stifles a good-natured chuckle, a hand pressed against her lips before she waves the girl over.
"Welcome," she says, glad to see her partner didn't stand her up after all! She grins broadly, nodding her head politely, "Yes. Better late than never. Thanks for coming, miss Mimiru. Let's do our very best, okay?" With hope Mimiru has kept up with her training and will impress her partner!
Stirring thereafter, Chizuru glances back to Takuma and his partner Gabriel, bowing at the waist as thanks for their time and effort. "Thanks, both of you," she states, slowly rising upright with a grin. With nothing more, Chizuru simply narrows her eyes, focusing on her opponents for the evening. Who will make the first move?

Watching the tardy display causes a faint frown to appear on Gabriel's face. Chizuru is taking her sweet time and not moving at all. She's watching, begin careful and all that stuff. The girl really doesn't know what to make of it. Still she takes the exact same stance that Chizuru does in the meantime, merely just tsking softly to herself.
Then there is Takuma. He looks solid enough. The fact is, Gabriel wants to win.

Hmmmmmph. Fight's on and no one's doing anything. And he has to fight a pair of GIRLS. GIRLS, as Dr. Tran might say, are GROSS. Well, not really. Still... Takuma bellows a laugh and cries out, "It looks like it's up to me to start the festivities!" That said... he bolts off his starting mark and leaps to the attack! And he targets... Chizuru first, cranking an arm back and low, as he lands in front of her and fires off a quick punch at her stomach.
"HYAH!" cries the Kyokugen Master.
"Of course! We give nothing less than that!" Mimiru exclaims, straightening herself and giving a thumbs up to Chizuru. Her lips curl into a wide grin and she's pretty pleased to actually have the chance to fight by her teacher's side. She might be able to show her how good she's been and how hard she has worked! She intents to truly surpass herself in this fight, that's for sure!
And since Takuma is starting the festivities by leaping on Chizuru, Mimiru has no other choice but to come to the rescue of her sensei, "Not so fast!" The girl shouts, leaping up in the air, "Kyaaaa!" She shouts as she holds her her priestess stick high up over her head and cascades down on Takuma, attempting to slam the stick right on his head. Smack.

Eyes flicker briefly, smiling at the cheerful Mimiru before she nods her head. "Yes, I agree. Do your--" But before she's able to actually finish what's said Takuma comes charging forward, seemingly intent on burying that burly fist of his into poor Chizuru's stomach. She, however, has none of that. Lifting a hand, the woman's palm intercepts his punch before she delivers a light shove, to shrug off his blow. A grin is swift to seize her features. "Good one," she compliments--
--before she lifts both arms up high and brings them down to his knees swiftly, attempting to sweep him off his feet in the literal sense.
"Mimiru-san, you realize that if the woman whom you are teamed up with should fall, you will fail as well. You can not allow that to happen to her." Gabriel says in what can only be said to be a fairly emotionless voice. Though that doesn't stop her from drawing back and throwing an attack at Chizuru instead of Mimiru. It's a palm thrust packing power with it.

Hmm. They're both after him it seems! Well, why not? He -is- The Man. Really. And he proves it, sorta, by blocking the sweeping strike. And then there's Mimiru... Takuma sweeps a big rock off the ground, intending on interrutping Mimiru's liver RIGHT OUT... but it's a bit bigger than he thought and he comes up rockless, to take a prayer stick to the face. More bruising to the ego than to the body, really.
"Ha HA! Nice shot ladies! It's good to meet women who can just get to it!"
With that first smack being delivered, Mimiru's lips curl into a wide grin and she beams almost proudly at the fact she managed to smack him over the end with her stick. It's almost like a kendo stick! Just much more fragile. In fact, well... It broke after she smacked him. She bites her lips and giggles nervously, "Ahaha... Hope Himeko won't mind..."
Her eyes then turn over toward Gabriel and she frowns a bit, "Well if that's the case then, I'll have to make sure you stop bothering her and take you on instead!" Mimiru shouts, dashing over Gabriel, attempting to slam her with her whole body to tackle her away from Chizuru.

Her attack thwarted, Chizuru's lips twitch slightly, the makings of a grin crossing her lips as she takes a step back and away, making plenty of room for the incoming Mimiru. Try as he might to knock the poor little girl out of the air and ultimately away, her gohei striking true. Glancing to the side, Chizuru offers the girl a broad grin, a silent compliment to her achievement! Way to go!
Takuma, however, seems really good-natured about it all, and in return he's given a sly grin, even as camera crews mill about, capturing the fight from nearly all angles possible. Lips part, and as she goes to reply, Gabriel is attacking her. Surprised, to say the least, Chizuru pivots on her heel, to face the oncoming fighter. Hands move, preparing to stop the attack, but the woman is faster. The result? She's struck, but ultimately keeps her footing. Clearly she'll have to reevaluate her tactics.

Though Mimiru attacks Gabriel expected that, having provoked her and all. So she pivots on a heel and raises her arms to block the incoming blow by crossing her arms carefully. She lowers her arms and makes a low kick toward her shins.
"Good Mimiru, we can allow the masters continue their bout against each other while we engage." There is nothing of emotion on her face, just a clear emotionless sort of blah.
Takuma keeps an ear cocked as to Gabriel's suggestion; it seems fair. All bets are off if Mimiru or Gabriel do something nutso though. Takuma turns to Chizuru and he just grins, clearly enjoying the whole deal; win or lose, he's only after a good fight, much like Shenwoo. Don't think he didn't notice Chizuru's attempt to deflect that attack, however... Takuma steps forward, his hands snapping out for Chizuru's lapels. Should he get a grip, he'll haul her overhead and bodyslam, then follow up with a punch to the chest.

If it's how Gabriel wants to do it! Then she'll have to take care of her before she'd actually go lend Chizuru a hand with the rest of the battle! Though Mimiru can only hope her sensei will be able to take care of herself for the rest of the fight! At least until she's through with Gabriel. She spares a glance into her direction, than back at Gabriel, "Looks like it," Mimiru says as she moves her leg to actually block her kick -- at least, block it on her muscle instead of letting her shin take the impact. That would have hurt a little bit more.
"Well let's get to it then!" Mimiru says as she takes a step foward, chi flaring out of her forelegs as she attempts to perform a somersault and strike Gabriel with her kick right under her chin or general area of her chest, "Super Mimiru Kick!" She shouts as she performs it. If she misses, she'll probably be able to make her full somersault! It that connects, well, she'll probably have some trouble mid-air!
Try as she might to keep up with Mimiru, it would seem that Takuma is having none of that. Thus do her eyes stir, focusing on the elder Sakazaki with a slight grin, features amused. He makes his move quickly--almost too quickly for the likes of the Yata heiress. The result leaves her on her back, quite painfully, followed by a swift punch to her gut. Furrowing her brows and exhaling loudly, the woman swiftly hops to her feet, hopping back a short ways before she pauses, eyeing her foe. Clearly she's underestimated BOTH, and she's paying dearly for it.
Rushing the elder Sakazaki, Chizuru thrusts her palms forward after a circular motion, attempting to slam him in the sternum with the heel of both hands' palms and knock him back.

This time Gabriel takes a shot pretty much straight on. It certainly wasn't what she was hoping to have happen. She crumples a little and cluthes the spot where the hit lands. It was quite a chance taken, but even so, Gabriel has to applaud the attack, but instead she grunts and holds her stomach.
"Well executed Mimiru-san, it has been a long time, I seem to recall we're on the same team. Why not transfer high school. We could share a dorm room." She talks so casually and normally.
A hand shoots out to grab Mimiru by the neck and attempt to fling her.

Well played, Kagura. But Takuma's seasoned like a good piece of pastrami--very well. His brown eyes watch, and they gauge, and then he's bringing his left forearm up and around in its own circular movement--brushing the incoming hands aside completely.
In the same moment, he braces his body with his right foot, sliding back as he delivers a sharp reverse punch to Chizuru's midsection.
"Come now, Kagura-san, surely you've got better?!?" he cries... though not quite as mockingly as someone like, say, Iori would. Just good-natured teasing.

In her current position, there's not much Mimiru can actually do aside from actually allowing Gabriel to get a hold of her. Since she's still off balanced from her somersault, she attempts to turn this to her advantage as she's flung off and thrown some distance, turning around in mid-air to actually land and be ready to counter, even if it means to actually... Well land very badly. At least, not really a good manner of doing so in jujitsu!
Mimiru winces and she dashes toward Gabriel, "Yeah, well... I've been at Taiyo for too long to actually move to another school! I can't let the Jaguar, you know!" She says as she attempts to deck Gabriel with a fierce punch to her midsection.
Her thrust shrugged aside and ultimately countered, Chizuru is punched, sent skidding back, heels grinding against the smooth pavestones of the shrine courtyard. Furrowing her brows, a hand lightly rubs her gut, eyes lifting up as she peers toward the eldest Sakazaki. He is definitely a tough one.
But that won't stop her from doing her best, at least for her teammate. Frowning, Chizuru's eyes draw shut, features calm and placid as she stands there breathing. Calm and collected, Chizuru draws her arms in...
...and with a push forward of her feet the woman steps in, feet moving in practiced steps as arms pinwheel and whip about, intent on slamming into the man, her opponent, and juggling him about before the final step, wherein her double vanishes from sight, leaving the real Chizuru a good few feet away.

This time Gabriel seems ready, taking her arms up, she crosses them and takes the blow off of her forearms and then grits her teeth faintly. This one hurt more than she hoped it would. Still though, she can work with this. A moment is taken and Gabriel decides to take a step back and open her hands in a ready palm strike position.

Hmm. Interesting. Is it the real Chizuru, or is it Memorex? It actually doesn't matter, as Takuma meets the attack with aplomb, using forearms and shoulders to absorb each attack, his defenses perfect despite the speed of that attack. Takuma crouches, and leaps back, giving himself some room; as he lands, he sits into a horse stance, power rising up around him in a swirling golden shroud, his muscles tensing and his brow furrowing.
"Haaaaaaaaa...!" he intones... like... Goku. (But it's just for the cameras, really, he doesn't need to do it.)

"Not that I don't like you, Gabby, you're really my type, but... Well... You see! I have some obligations to my school! And Taiyo's so much better for sports!" Mimiru says. Of course she'd love to be with her best friend in a dorm! Justice High has its appeals, that's for sure but...
No time for debates though! And since Gabriel wants to take it more on the defensive, Mimiru lunges at her and she attempts to get a hold of the girl's arms. If she suceeds, she'll actually turn around and lift her up on her back in an attempt to hurl her off some distance.
Chizuru's attempts blocked, the duplicate Yata follows through with the motions regardless until finished, wherein it merely vanishes. Chizuru, on the other hand, squints her eyes, focusing on her opponent with a small frown. A moment is spared, glancing toward Mimiru to see how she's faring before Chizuru merely draws her eyes closed, hands drawn forward, rested against her chest. The winds pick up, hair whipping about as she herself focuses, gathering her strength to face down the Sakazaki elder.

One arm is grabbed, Gabriel listens to Mimiru with one lip tightened and it is only after Mimiru finishes talking and while Mimiru is holding her forearm that she twists, pulling Mimiru suddenly into her and using her other hand to throw a backhanded chop. She does get flung and doesn't roll quite as well as she could have, but the blow is delivered as intended.
"Mimiru-san, If you will not transfer to my school, will you consider engaging in an addition after school club which I am a member? It spans all three schools." You would have a hard time telling they were even fighting the way they are talking.
Well, Takuma -could- y'know, just... keep on charging up. He's set up for it, and building his energy further would benefit him a lot. But frankly, he feels like bringing the fight. So from his crouched position... he lunges forward, flying practically horizontally as he swings a big foot for Chizuru's head.
"Come, Kagura-san!" he cries, as he flies in, with a grin, "Surely one of your power can deal with an old man like me!" Again... he likes to tease.

Things didn't quite turn out as Mimiru expected! She staggers a bit from the chop to her back and Mimiru struggles to maintain her balance but she manages not too badly. She bites her lips and growls some, lifting her gaze up to give Gabriel a glare for a moment as she straightens herself up, "Huh... Well my basketball club is keeping me busy enough as it is," Mimiru admits, lips curling into a faint smile, "But if you ask nicely I might think about it!" She says.
Mimiru isn't paying too much attention to what Chizuru's doing right now -- Gabriel's a pain enough as it is, she has to deal with her! She rushes over her and attempts to give her a low side-kick to her knee.
Is he trying to goad her?
Blinking at his outcry, Chizuru lifts an arm up, letting his leg snap against her forearm with little more than a slight grunt from the Yata. Once he's shrugged off the Yata's features seem confused, her expression puzzled before she offers a small grin. "My powers," she explains, "Have a different purpose than to merely defeat others for fun and show."
With that she lunges in and reaches out, attempting to snag Takuma by his collar and throw him swiftly to the side.

That one was a little painful. Gabriel takes the kick and glances over at the other battle occuring. A mild shrug is given. Her attention turns to Mimiru again and she settles back a little. What a waste, taking a little rest it seems.
"You are so light hearted, Mimiru-san" It is all Gabriel can think to say. She reaches out and throws a palm thrust toward her, nothing too fancy.

Takuma certainly goes sailing! He strikes the ground, then rolls, coming to his feet. Chizuru, at least, will feel the power buildup within his body, concentrated on his hands, pulled to his stomach.

She licks her lips and then attempts to get a hold of Gabriel's hand with that hand that blocked, and with her other, she tries to get a hold of Gabriel's shoulder.
If she suceeds, she'll then stride by her side quickly and attempt to knock her off balance with a sweep of her leg against her own, using her grasp over her to litterally shove and throw Gabriel down.

Speaking of power, he chooses to show her just what he's capable of. Blinking as he assumes a stance and shoots his infamous Haoh Sho Ko Ken, Chizuru springs into action. Swiftly she pivots a foot, lifting an arm up before she swiftly brings it down, harshly. In the wake of her fingers trail golden chi before they hit the earth at her feet, an explosion of chi erupting--
--and sending that attack right back at him.

Gabriel decides to roll with this attack, and then takes a moment to take note of Takuma. Okay. She turns back to Mimiru and leaps into the air, not saying anything, but just trying to land on her shoulders. If she succeeds she'll sesnd a flare of energy into her face from her hand and then throw her. Simple but sweet. A crowd favorite truly.

Takuma's eyes go wide, and he decides to go out like a man! ... except... ... well, it kind of splashes on him like cold water. The HELL. Of course, he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to attack now, as he casually pulls up chi to replace the lost power from that massive attack. That was certainly unexpected...

While it may be quite appealing to actually just let Gabriel land on her shoulder, Mimiru actually has to duck and roll out of the way before she can actually land on her. She staggers back and quickly gets back to her feet, lips curling into a tight grin as she brings her hands together.
"Alright, time to get serious!" She exclaims as she concentrates and lets the chi energy gather in between her hands, forming up a ball of white energy, "Super Mimiru Ball!" She shouts as she hurls the projectile toward Gabriel.
The assault is bounced back, a volley of chi sent blazing at the elder Sakazaki. Stunned, to an extent, he laughs as the attack hits, and in turn the Yata priestess grins. Hey, why not? Bowing her head, she thanks him silently for his compliments, but clearly she's aware enough to know this fight isn't yet over. Collecting her wits, the woman draws her eyes to a shut and seems to focus inwardly rather than attack. She mustn't be too hasty. Not against someone as potentially dangerous as Takuma.

There is some light on her face as the ball approaches. She crosses her arms, raises them and digs her ankles down, letting herself resist the bulk of the blow, though ends up in the end struggling for footing, at least briefly. A shake of her head and she stays there, looking almost in a crater.

Chizuru is proving to be quite resilient. Which is of interest to Takuma; he had mistakenly assumed that she would be less so. There are always things for Takuma to learn. Once again, he lunges to the attack; it is his expression of respect, that he doesn't let his skills fade in this competition, closing with the Yata heiress to fake a sweep low before snapping off a high roundhouse kick instead.
"Am I a bit too tough on you?" Mimriu asks, tilting her head to one side, folding her arms across her chest, "Tsss, I'll give you a break," She says, shaking her head a bit. She glances over to Chizuru and she shouts, "Alright, sensei! Let me handle the big bear guy!" She shouts as she dashes toward Takuma, "He'll be a piece of cake!" She shouts as she attempts to get his attention by litterally running and dashing into him.
She may be small, but she can be quite annoying! She goes for a couple of quick jab right into his abdomen. Let's see if those are as hard as concrete.
"You go on ahead and take Gabriel, I'm a bit too much for her I think!" She adds.

Takuma again makes his attack, rushing the Yata heiress with a swift kick aimed for the woman's legs, intent on sweeping the woman off her feet. Seeing the feint, the woman hops back quickly, deftly avoiding the oncoming roundhouse. Landing, she offers a small grin, eyes alive as she stands her ground. Yet just as she begins to move forward, to lunge in and take Takuma on again Mimiru stops her, causing the woman to blink. Glancing sidelong, she offers her tiny partner a faint nod before she turns and rushes in, attempting to heft the woman up from the ground and slam her back-first against the shrine courtyard stones.

gabriel really didn't expect this to happen, when the 'Yata heiress' comes her eway she raises a brow and then tries to roll with the attack as best she can. It was well.. Quite an attack, but when she rolls back to her feet, Gabriel actually looks pretty good. She knots her brow a little and then further considers her opponent. A mild shrug is given and she resumes her ready position.
"So you will be my opponent.. Very well," Gabriel says, clutches her goddess pendant and then charges Chizuru and tries to chop her at the base of the neck.
"CONFESS!" she exclaims.
It appears... it's time to switch targets. Very well. Takuma turns to Mimiru, and just chuckles faintly. "I never did get you back for slapping my ass, did I?" he asks, rhetorically, as he moves in on the littlest Kasagi. "Well, Yuri's too old for this, but perhaps you aren't!" So he reaches out for Mimiru. And if he manages to get her... he'll spank her, oh yes. Not too long, just a couple swats, before letting her go. Payback. If it hits.

Those muscles aren't as rock-hard as you'd expect them to be! Tsss! Mimiru just shakes her head a bit, sticking her tongue out a bit. Though before she can really react, Takuma actually gets a hold of her and gives her a few quick swat on her butt.
That's the kind of spanking Mimiru wouldn't really like to get all that often! She squirms and struggles, "Oye, oye!" She shouts, sticking her tongue out a bit. Well that was mean. Bet she'll have red butt now. She rubs her back and growls, "That was way more than I gave you!" Mimiru protests as she tries to get a hold of Takuma's arm and throw him over her shoulder, bending over some to destabilize him so she can throw him.

Following through the attack and otherwise lessening the potential pain of the throw, Chizuru sports a tiny grin, features clearly amused by the outcome of her assault. The grin remains even as the young woman rises to her feet, Chizuru's expression friendly, however subdued the grin may be. Is she her opponent?
"I suppose I am," she admits. That said, the girl runs in, attempting to attack the heiress. 'Confess?' What on earth is Gabriel talking about? Whatever the case, her feet stir, and try as she might to avoid the oncoming attack, Chizuru's struck, a soft 'oof' escaping her. Blinking at the impact, the woman moves again, swiftly closing in before she leaps up, attempting to slam the woman underside the chin before she vanishes from sight.

It's fast and it nails Gabriel dead center. She's drilled so seriously that she can't remember the last time someone drilled her that hard. Seriously it's been a long time. The expression on her face is one of utter disbelief as she more or less sinks down on the spot, crumpling a bit like a bag of bricks. Her own power starts to leak from her body in wisps. It's like someone took a balloon full of steam and poked it with a needle. A shiver runs down her spine as she fights to keep control of her own body. She just looks wasted. For the moment, she doesn't move. Down on her knees with her arms at her side, breathing heavily, the look on her face still one of shock.
A hand raises to Gabriel's pretty blond hair and comes back bloody, a stream running down from forehead over her eye to her chin. It's as though she'd never seen it before.

Takuma? Get thrown by Mimiru? Not quite. Though she does bend his arm and destabilize him as intended, Takuma wrenches his arm free, and when Mimiru comes back up from that... she's got fists. Fists in her face, in her chest, in her abdomen; Takuma just... wreaks havoc with the little girl. Though he pulls his punches a little bit. He's not out to pulp her, just to... y'know. Put her down for the count, so to speak. And he doesn't taunt Mimiru, or anything. Actually, he just kind of lowers his head for a moment.
So much for actually holding Takuma down for a while. Seems like there's not much Mimiru did aside from getting a spanking and then taking quite a beating all about. Of course, the onslaught of punches all about actually knocks her back a bit. She's bleeding some and pretty battered, and the end's pretty near for her but still, just because it is she doesn't have to give up!
Maybe it's time to take a little switch in target though. Groaning a bit, Mimiru tries to stand still the best she can before she rushes over Gabriel, "Here comes Super Mimiru!" She shouts as her fist glows brightly with her last bit of energy as she tries to do on Gabriel pretty much the same than Takuma gave her! Deliver her a flurry of Super Mimiru Punches!

The attack strikes true, driving the poor young woman into a sense of shock, her expression one of disbelief. The Yata, however, winks from sight, her form--the real Chizuru--standing a short distance away. Noting the young woman and her state, she seems almost disappointed in herself, but...she can't let her teammate down. Especially not after Takuma so brutally took her out of commission!
That's why the woman crouches low and sprints forward, attempting to leap up into the air and execute a snapping kick toward the side of Gabriel's head.

It was crazy, totally nuts, the two coming at Gabriel, who is little more than a sitting duck at this point. They rip into her, beating her up ways and down ways in terrible ways, but there is nothing really for her to do, the attacks come in what seems almost to be a helpless Gabriel. She hears the cry of the oncoming Mimiru and tries to get out of the way, then she is witness to Chizuru in the form of getting kicked - Totally didn't see that one coming.
There is only one thing left to do.. Well erm.. Explode.. Literally.
Gabriel loses all control over her power and bursts of it break outward in an aura explosion that engulfs her and some of her surrounding. Luckily there is some warning before the unstable purple and golden light erratically expands. All that's left when it's over is the lump of Gabriel. This was probably less an attack, and more like her spraying you with blood, or in this case, chi.

What to do, what to do? Frankly... he'd rather just let Chizuru be downed by Gabriel, even as Gabriel is downed by the other team's combined efforts. He decides to see how Gabriel's final attack does, rather than double-team Chizuru... and besides... he could use a little rest, really. Just a breather, something to let him release some lactic acid. After all... he is an old man.

A two-fold, team attack delivered, it seems to knock poor Gabriel around and about like a rag doll. Chizuru's kick lands, her leg recoiling after the strike before she lands in a low crouch--just in time to spy the woman's power releasing, exploding through the area. Widening her eyes, Chizuru attempts to scramble out of the way and hopefully avoid the blast. Such does not happen; in fact, caught in the blast, Chizuru is buffeted around before she lands back, skidding lightly against the ground. Slowly but surely thereafter she rises up, rubbing her chest lightly.
What on earth was that??
Still, the woman herself looks pretty damn worn. Squinting, she peers about, eyeing Takuma before she exhales and lets her shoulders sag. Tired? You bet? Done? No way. Thus does she charge in, stopping swiftly only to pivot on her heel and come around, to execute a downward strike, followed by the harsh crack-whip of her sleeve in its wake.

The combination is blocked, by Takuma, and he then regards his opponent for a long moment. It's probably a consideration he could have given to Mimiru, but... well, anyways.
"Are you quite sure you're alright? There's no harm in admitting defeat," says the Kyokugen Master (who of course would never do the same were the tides reversed). Naturally, though, the woman has plenty of 'fight' left in her, and so Takuma debates for a moment, before simply saying, "I'm sorry," and attempting to take Chizuru down as nicely as he can, attempting a sweepkick... and should that prove enough he'll at least try to catch her before she can fall completely.

Shaking out the fuzzies, Chizuru looks up before she rushes in, attempting to take out the Kyokugen sensei with as much effort as she can sincerely muster. It'd be offensive to do otherwise, of course. That said, her attack is otherwise blocked, earning a slight furrow of the brows from the Yata. Clearly she hasn't done her best today.
The retaliation is met with a frown, and try as she might to avoid she's swept. Landing rather harshly, the woman hit, were he not attempting to catch her. But when he moves, she's not there. Instead she's standing a short distance away.
Why? Well, the woman makes the same move as before, rushing in with a series of intricate steps and furious motions of her arms, a well-trained dance that leads her plowing right for Takuma. Whether or not it hits, it doesn't matter; she continues to move until the last step, where she stops, staggers and flops forward, too exhausted to fight.

And what does Takuma do? Well, honestly, he has a lot of options available to him. Well he knows the exhaustion and pain that comes from making that last effort. So he decides... he will withstand the effort. To honor it. And it nearly does him in; the deadly dance of the Chizuru is as powerful as he suspected. After the damage is done, Takuma simply drops his hands to his knees, panting.
"A good effort," he praises his opponents... and his teammate as well, though he's reasonably sure she can't hear, "and an excellent fight."
