Description: Chris and Hinako face off in a Metro City subway station. Chris gets a bit overconfident, and Hinako causes some property damage in response, but in the end the Orochi kid is still on his feet. (Winner: Chris)
The subways of Metro isn't the best of places to be late at night. Not just because of the smell, but the place just looks downright dangerous. Pillars that hold up the ceiling look a bit worse for wear and graffiti covers the walls and trains alike. Sure it is much better than it used to be after Haggar cleaned up the place, but there are still a few lingering hoodlums and thugs that call the subway tunnels their turf. Tonight is a different story, though. People have gathered around the place to watch a league fight that has been designated to happen near the steps of one of the many entrances in the subway that leads up to the city above.
One of those fighters is already present. The young musical prodigy known only as Chris sits on a bench with drumsticks in hand. They lightly tap along the wood of the bench in a steady rhythmic pattern as he awaits the other fighter with a rather big smile on his face. It has been awhile since he got to fight so he is looking forward to it even if it isn't taking place in the most elaborate of local.
Even if there were still thugs and hoodlums lurking about tonight, they'd be in for a bit of a surprise if they tried picking on this little girl. Hinako hums happily to herself as she makes her way down the steps into the subway, checking the tape on her hands to make sure it's wrapped tightly. Although sumo is Hinako's major interest, it doesn't mean she's completely oblivious to the music scene. The members of CYS have been in Japan on and off for some time now, and she's had a chance to hear some of their music. Fighting one of the band members should be fun... Maybe she can get an autograph!
Once Hinako makes it to the area set aside for the fight she gives Chris a wave and a big grin. "Um, hi! I hope we can have a fun fight! I've seen some of the fights that you and your bandmates have been in, and I've listened to your music and you're all really cool!" The last sentence is rushed out in one breath, Hinako's eyes shining as she looks on at Chris.
So this is who he is fighting? Chris feels a slight amount of disappointment, but it never causes that smile of his to falter. "Oh really? I am sorry to say I am not familiar with you." he tells Hinako while hopping to his feet and giving his drumsticks a twirl then reaching behind him to shove into a pocket of his pants. He hops down off the bench and his arms stretch upwards as he rocks on his toes before settling back down on his feet firmly. "I hope you are prepared. It would be a shame to embarass such a pretty face." he jokes and then quickly moves forward to leap straight at the sumo girl and plant a knee right into her gut. "Let's begin!"

Hinako slams her fists together as she grins at Chris. "Of course, I'm always ready!" Apparently she didn't take any offense at Chris' remarks. She just settles back, crouching down as she gets ready for the fight to begin. And then Chris is rushing in towards her. She plants her feet, letting the young Orochi musican crash into her, driving his knee into her stomach. Being prepared to move with the blow means that it doesn't hurt as much as it might, though. And it puts Chris right in reach of Hinako's grasp.
Just as the boy's knee comes into contact with her, Hinako grabs Chris by one shoulder, putting her other hand around the back of his head. She then uses this grip to flip him off his feet, slamming him headfirst into the floor of the subway station.
There is a rather hard slapping noise of head meeting concrete when Chris is thrown downwards. He uses his hands as he lands to sort of reduce the amount of impact and then pushes off to flip back upright and land with his back to the other fighter. He chuckles some while rubbing his forehead with a hand and checks to make sure he wasn't cracked open. "Oh wow. I should be less clumsy. That could have really hurt." he murmurs before turning back around and nodding towards Hinako. "Not bad at all miss." He then leans forward almost as if he is about to do a feint, but instead of rushing forward his feet seem to just glide over the smooth concrete as he comes forward and he throws his right arm out quickly to make three quick slaps at Hinako's chest and stomach to knock her back.

Hinako grins at the compliment from Chris, although she remains in her combat stance. "Thanks!" She watches Chris, trying to guess his speed for the movements she's seen so far, but she wasn't quite expecting him to move in such an eerie manner. His hand slams into Hinako's torso, and it does knock her back... but perhaps not quite as much as might be expected. Resisting attacks designed to knock a person back are a pretty basic part of sumo after all, even if Hinako really doesn't look like she's up to it.
"You're good, yourself. Here, let me return the favor!" And that's exactly what Hinako attempts to do, rushing at Chris and attempting to slam both of her palms into the boy's chest to knock him off balance. Not to actually knock him back, though. Because once he hands connect, Hinako tries to get a hold of Chris, then spin around to hurl him against one of the support pillars.

The sliding isn't the only style of fancy footwork the Orochi kid can do it would appear. He does quick hop back at first then he keeps his feet planted firmly on the ground before leaning backwards almost fully as the strike misses him by inches. Once Hinako pulls her hands away Chris leans back up to stand fully and his smile returns now that the disaster is averted. "Close, but not quite fast enough." he chides and he attempts to hop forward to land one foot on the knee of the sumo then leap up and then thrust his other foot forward to slam into her face before pushing off and flipping backwards to land a few feet away with hands in his pant pocket and rocking on his heels.

Hinako yelps in surprise as Chris lands on her knee, then gets cut off by his foot connecting with her face. She staggers back dangerously for a moment, quite off balance, but she manages to regain her footing without actually falling over. She shakes her head for a moment, then centers her gaze back on Chris.
Well, he's definitely pretty fast... But maybe she can do something about that.
Hinako begins running in toward Chris, looking like she's going to try to grab him again... but then she suddenly leaps headlong at him, one arm outstretched as she tries to clothesline him with it. Should she manage to connect, Hinako will wrap her arm around his neck, then spin around to yank him off his feet. As she turns, Hinako hurls Chris away from her, sending him zooming head first toward one of the sturdy concrete walls.

Even if he is quick, Chris has started to learn that there are times when you can't avoid an opponents attak. Usually the thing one can do is prepare for the worst and hope you can find a way to keep from getting too hurt. He really was ready for a grab which is why the clothesline hits its mark and the young boy goes a bit wide eyed when he gets picked up and hurled towards the wall. He manages to gain control of himself when flying through the air though and he twists about to hit the wall feet first and he bends at the knees and then lets out a soft 'hmph' before pushing off and flying back towards Hinako while twisting about and attempting to scissor his legs around her neck and use his momentum to take her to the ground with him.

Hinako frowns for a moment as Chris springs off the wall, but she doesn't have long to dwell on that. Besides, should she have expected any less. She considers trying to grab the boy out of the air as he comes back, but he's just moving too fast for that to be a good idea. Instead she stands her ground, preparing to let him hit her. And hit her he does, his legs wrapping around her neck. And strong though her legs might be, Chris has leverage on his side here, taking Hinako down to the ground.
Luckily this isn't a sumo match, so Hinako can feel free to continue fighting. She tries to reach up and grab Chris by the ankles before he can free his legs from the scissorlock. Then Hinako goes for a move which would be rather tricky without her impressive limb strength. Using only her grip on his ankles, Hinako attempts to raise Chris' legs off the ground, then hurl him forward. With luck, he'll be busy skidding across the ground while she's getting to her feet.

The Orochi kid's attempt to push away before being grasped isn't fast enough. But being thrown isn't a bad thing in his eyes. Even if he lands a bit awkwardly away from Hinako he at least accomplished getting some distance between them both. He taps a foot while looking thoughtful once he is standing and he looks across towards Hinako. "What to do with you..." he muses and he then looks to a foot and then nods before he becomes almost a blur from his quick movements that seem to leave a trail of copies behind him as he slides forward and he swings a leg upwards to miss the sumo as he spins on his other foot and brings around a clenched fist around to backhand into the side of the young woman's face.

Unfortunately, Hinako's streak of bad luck seems to be holding true. She can hit hard, but she's also just not very good at stopping attacks from people who use other forms of martial arts, whether simply getting out of the way or deflecting the blow. She falls for the feint, trying to needlessly duck under the kick from Chris, allowing him to drive his fist into the side of Hinako's face, sending her staggering to the side.
Reaching up to rub her jaw for a moment, Hinako grins at Chris. "Nice one. Guess I need to pay more attention..." Dropping her hand back into a ready position, Hinako watches Chris warily. She knows she's on the losing end of this match right now, so she needs to find some opening she can take advantage of. Maybe she'll even find a way to turn things around...

Casually stepping back the smile really has diminished from the other fighters features. He shrugs his shoulders lightly and he turns his back to the girl for a few moments as he wanders back to the bench he once occupied to have a seat. "I suppose so. If you think that will help then I guess you best do that." he tells her as he takes a seat on the bench with arms draped over the back of it. "Feel free to show me what you can do once you are ready again." he tells her before yawning and then watching her casually....with that damn smile. :)

Hinako folds her arms for a moment, looking at Chris. "Um, you know... It's kind of rude to just walk away in the middle of a fight like that. Not to mention that just sitting down there isn't really all that good a defensive position. What if I just threw something at you?" She shakes her head. "Anyway, though, I'm ready!"
For all that she said, it doesn't seem like Hinako is going to wait around for Chris to get up off the bench. She begins running toward the boy, twisting herself as she draws near in an attempt to slam her shoulder into his chest, driving him back against the bench. Hopefully he won't get out of the way, because then she'll look really silly.

After slamming Chris back against the bench, Hinako explodes into a flurry of blows. She starts hammering the boy with repeated palm strikes, causing the wooden back of the bench to actually splinter somewhat under the force of the blows. When Chris has been pummeled to her satisfaction, she then hefts the boy up off of the bench, and hurls him up with enough force to actually slam him into the ceiling high overhead.
She's not quite done yet, though. He /has/ been rather rude. Leaning down, Hinako grabs the bench. There's a loud cracking sound as the legs (which are bolted to the ground) snap, and then she hurls the bench up into Chris while he's on his way back down. Finally, Hinako lets out a long breath, then dusts her hands off. "Shall we continue?" And now she's all smiles again.
He starts to stir to get ready to throw his arms up when the woman comes in, but Hinako ends up hitting harder than he was expecting. It knocks away any defensive measures he had prepared. He gets slung around like some sort of rag doll and then gets hit with a bench to boot. Some of the spectators are just wide eyed as the boy lands on his back and just kinda lays there for a few moments. There is then a bit of a chortle and the boy moves his legs to let his feet stand firmly on the ground and through sheer power of his legs alone he stands back up straight while rubbing the back of his head. "Hey wow. That hurt." he says through his chuckling. "Glad you are happy again, miss." he tells her and once again he blurs forward and then leaps upwards while kicking a foot upwards to nail her in the chin.

Gracefully the Orochi kid flips backwards as his foot connects and the heel flashes blue with energy. His momentum carries him upwards as he connects with another bicycle kick and yet a third one follows. After the third lands against the girl's face he then flips about again in mid air and that smile becomes more of a sadistic grin as he comes downwards and slams his foot in her face to knock her away and land on the balls of his feet. "Oops, looks like the smile didn't last long enough." :)
Well, Chris does manage to wipe the smile off Hinako's face. Regardless of other circumstances, it's hard to grin whlie someone is stomping on your face. She does get smacked around quite thoroughly, but things might not go /quite/ as easily as he'd hope.
Let's slow things down for the replay: As Chris' final kick hits home on Hinako's face and he leaps away, the sumo girl reaches out even as she's starting to fall back off her feet. She tries to grab Chris pretty much anywhere her hands can reach, dragging him with her. Should she manage to get him, she'll try to use a combination of her strength and the momentum of her fall to hurl him over her shoulders, sending him sailing in the general direction of the wall. She doesn't really get a chance to see how well that might work out, though.

Chris rolls with what Hinako's grapple. He really is in no position to get away from her grasp, but her throw is enough to allow him to get time to once again turn about and hit the wall feet first then push off of it to land on his feet and he turns about to flash a victory sign with a raised arm. He then wobbles a bit from still being a bit dizzy from Hinako's assault from a few moments ago. "I guess we both have alot to learn." he says with slight amusement and he pulls out the drumsticks from his pocket. He then tosses them to land next to the sumo girl with a echoing clatter. Though she probably doesn't want a autograph after this fight she still gets a souvenir from the young musician as he stalks to wander up the stairs back towards the topside of Metro.
