It's time for a tournament, people. Not just any tournament, however; a TAG-TEAM Tournament. Ooooooo. Yes. Rugal Bernstein is going to be hosting his second worldwide tournament, "Second Victory." ICly, this will be invitationals-only, invites sent to fighters across the globe. OOCly, /anyone/ can sign up. Tag Teams will be selected by myself after everyone has signed up. Teams will be selected in order to keep things as even as possible, so that there aren't two R6s teaming up against two R1s and the like.
The tournament itself is going to be elimination rounds, so alts are restricted from joining. Choose one of your characters you'd like to have participate in it, and then sign up. Sign ups will last until February 7th, and teams will be decided upon by the 12th. On Monday, February 13th, the matches will officially begin, and you'll have a week to get your particular fight done before the next round begins. Remember to @mail Rugal the results of your fight.
Tag-Team rules will be as follows:
1. Each fighter can only tag out once per fight. This means that a fighter and his partner can both tag out, but once both of them has done it, they cannot do it again.
2. When a fighter tags out, they are allowed to 'rest' and 'pass' once. After that, they cannot do anything until they're tagged back in, or their partner is defeated.
3. Like in the KoF tournament, if a fighter defeats their opponent, they are also allowed to 'rest' and 'pass' before they fight the next challenger.
That's all the rules revolving around the actual fights. The last fight will be taking place on the Noah. Other than that, fights can occur anywhere in the world, as Rugal will be funding travel fees and the like.

On Monday, March 6th, the host of the most recent of international fighting tournaments, Rugal Bernstein, announced in a rather surprising and sudden decision that the team of the old man known simply as Oro and his pupil, Daniel LaRusso, would be advanced immediately to the semi-finals of his tournament without competition. Due to the "incredible fighting prowess" of the duo, Bernstein has decided to bestow this honor upon them. Furthermore, Oro and LaRusso have received a most prestigious invitation to meet with Rugal Bernstein himself at one of Bernstein's undisclosed estates. The meeting would be to, as Second Victory's said, "Greet perhaps one of the best fighters he has ever seen." Other fights in the tournament will continue as planned.
